SEATTLE, WA … Nestled in the heart of Ballard at 14th Avenue and 53rd Street, this location has all the brewing equipment installed and ready to go and is the perfect space for an entrepreneurial brewer looking to plant their flag in a nationally recognized brewery district and set up their own brewery and taproom.
After an award-winning homebrewing career, co-founder Adam Robbings wanted a place where Reuben’s Brews could grow into its own. “This space had everything we needed to brew beers of the highest quality and connect directly with our customers,” says Robbings.
In August 2012, Reuben’s Brews opened this location in Ballard as its original brewery and tasting room. Starting with five beers brewed and served in the space, Reuben’s quickly became a well-respected brewery in the state. During its peak usage from 2012 – 2017, the brewery won 160 awards, including 2014 Best Taproom in Washington by RateBeer and Brewery of the Year at the 2015 Washington Beer Awards.
With 1,440 square feet, the current brewing maximum capacity for the space is approximately 800 barrels per year, and the sale includes the space and equipment needed to begin brewing: ● 1,080 sq ft main floor - includes brewing area, tap area, cooler, and bathroom ● 360 sq ft mezzanine with opportunity for storage, seating, and office
● 5BBL 2-vessel brewhouse, maxes at 7BBL batches
● 3x 10BBL unitanks + 1x 10BBL Brite Tank
● 2x 7BBL unitanks
● Direct draw draft lines connect to walk-in cooler allows for functional taproom ● Roll-up garage door for easy access to serve drinks, brew, and drop off materials
“This brewery and taproom will always hold a special place in our hearts,” says Robbings. “As our brand has outgrown the space, were looking to pass forward the successes it can offer to another brewery at the beginning of their story.”
If you’re interested in becoming part of the Ballard brewing community and the largest group of breweries in the Northwest, please reach out to [email protected]. Serious inquiries only.

Naukabout Beer Co. Opens New Brewery & Taproom on Cape Cod
Mashpee, MA — Years in the making, the Naukabout Brewery & Taproom is finally ready to open its doors and start pouring beers. Located on an iconic property that once housed The Flume Restaurant at 13 Lake Ave in Mashpee, the brewery is just 10 miles from the Sagamore Bridge and has views of both Lake Mashpee/Wakeby and the Mashpee River.
The 7bbl brewhouse has been in full production mode for the last month getting eight brand new beers ready for the public. For the grand opening, the public will have the opportunity to try a wide-array of hop-forward beers as well as some lighter and darker fare. In addition to enjoying the beers on draft customers will have the opportunity to take cans to-go so they can enjoy their favorite styles at home.
“We are excited to be joining the growing force of local Cape Cod artists and creators — from glass blowers, wine makers, oyster farmers, musicians…— we’re eager to give locals and visitors something special to experience on The Cape.” Cape-native and CEO Peter Murner said. “We have this picturesque location up on the hill overlooking Lake Mashpee, we’re gearing up to open the doors at the end of March. The grand opening has been scheduled for Thursday, March 29th from 4-8pm.”
The initial planning and permitting for the Mashpee brewery started back in 2015, however, the Naukabout story began over 30 years ago with a cofounders’ father. He would come home from work, change out of his work-a-bouts, and tell his sons to “change into their nauk-a-bouts” in order to “get outside for some fun!” In 2008 the ideology of “doing what you love to do, after doing the things you have to do” came to life in the form of Naukabout Music Festival. A few years later in 2012, the group transitioned into Naukabout Beer Co. and began contract brewing while the search for a brewery site began.
“We couldn’t be any more excited to finally be brewing at our own location. Contract brewing was a great way to get started, but now with our own facility we can focus on crafting limited-release, small-batch recipes that reflect the uniqueness of our peninsula and the people here.”
CEO Peter Murner expressed. “We can’t wait to give folks another reason to come to Mashpee. Whether your shopping at The Commons or traveling down Route 6 you’ll only be a few minutes away from a tasty brew.” Murner’s core team is rounded out by Head Brewer, Leif Rotsaert who recently made the move cross-country to join the team and Cape-native Ryan Ellis who is the Head of Sales.
In the past decade, the number of operating craft breweries has grown to over 5,000 nationally. In recent years Cape Cod has jumped aboard that movement and is quickly becoming a beer overs destination. The Naukabout Brewery & Taproom will mark the Cape’s fifth of its kind with more rumored to be on the way. The Naukabout team is eager and excited to be part of a regional transition that will add even more to the charm of Cape Cod

We are ecstatic to announce The Lost Borough Brewing Co. is growing yet again! Since our founding, we've done everything possible to reinvest any profit directly into continuing to grow the business. Today we were happy to welcome the arrival of our new 7bbl brew system, larger 14bbl fermentors and brite tank. While it's sad to say goodbye to our original 3bbl setup, it's exciting to continue our growth as we expand our wholesale business and gain the ability to share the beer we love with more people. Thanks to all who have supported us on the journey, to our friends at Roc Brewing Co. LLCfor helping us to unload today, and good luck to No BS Brew Company, we know how far that system has taken us. Now it’s your turn.

Extremely limited and made with Cryo and HBC735, Migration Brewing releases Hop Fire Volume 2, a West Coast Double IPA
Press Release

Portland, OR. – Migration Brewing is releasing Hop Fire Volume 2 IIPA in 16 oz/4-pack cans on  Thursday, July 29th. This extremely limited can release will only be available at Migration’s four  Portland pubs. This is the second package release of Migration’s burgeoning hop innovation  program that features unique, hard to find ingredients. These beers are developed exclusively  at “The Shop”, Migration’s original 7bbl brewing facility on NE Glisan Street.
Hop Fire Volume 2 is a West Coast Double IPA that builds off Migration’s award-winning core  IPA’s. This bold, 8.5% ABV Double IPA is light gold in color, with just enough malt backbone to  support the heavy lifting hops. The brew team used 6 pounds of Yakima Chief Hops (YCH)  experimental hops per barrel in the dry hop to deliver an enormous bouquet of tropical fruit including mango, green papaya, passionfruit, and notes of tangerine. As part of Migration’s  long-standing relationship with YCH, they were able to secure both the HBC735 and Cryo
HBC630 experimental hops to be used in the innovation process.
“We are so stoked to be working with YCH and their newest generation of experimental hops  on this next version of Hop Fire,” said Mike Branes, Master Brewer and Co-Founder of  Migration Brewing. “These new hops are going to allow us to bring big, punchy citrus flavors to  a modern Double IPA that is meant to turn some heads,” states Branes.
Each Hop Fire beer is developed at Migration’s original 7 BBL production brewery that has been  reconfigured into “The Shop”. Some say the infamous location is the precise center of Portland.  Whether true or not, it is undoubtedly the center of the Migration heart & soul. And from there  is where they let the creative brewers play, innovate and bring you the hop fire.
###
Migration Brewing started in 2010 when four friends came together over a passion for craft beer  and a dream of opening a brewpub. With a lot of bootstrapping, and a little luck, they have since  opened four pub locations within Portland. As an award-winning brewery, the Migration team  takes great pride in producing world-class beers that embrace innovation while respecting classic  styles. For more information, please visit one of the Migration brewpubs or email  [email protected].

Migration Brewing confirms the release of Hop Fire Volume 1, now available.

Press Release
Portland, OR. – Migration Brewing is releasing their new Hop Fire Volume 1 in 16 Oz., 4-Pack cans for a limited time, and will be available at their four Portland pubs on Jun 10th, 2021.
Originally, Hop Fire was brewed at the Shop, Migration’s 7bbl innovation facility, but due to its success, Hop Fire is being dropped into cans at the company’s Gresham production facility.
“A lot of hard work and planning went into making Hop Fire Volume 1 the success that it is,” said Mike Branes, Migration Brewing Co-Founder and Head Brewer. “ We are so excited to get it into cans, and let all our hop loving customers take it home in cans sold exclusively at our pubs.”
Hop Fire Volume 1 is a Hazy IPA that builds off Migration’s award winning core IPA’s while
introducing new cold pool and hop addition techniques. The subtle malt allows for overwhelming hop aromatics to waft off the glass. Notes of passionfruit, pineapple and guava intermingle with hints of peach skin and sun-ripened tangelo zest. The mouthfeel is full and silky by the addition of flaked and malted oats in conjunction with wheat.
This bold, 6.8% ABV, IPA utilized 6 pounds per barrel of some of the world’s most sought after hops including: New Zealand Cascades and Sabro hops, giving it a unique flavor profile. While brewed at lower temperatures, these hops retain their one-of-a-kind flavors and removes the bitterness that can sometimes be present in hoppy IPAs.
Hop Fire is Volume 1 is just one of a planned series of big, bold, and unique brews with different colors, big aromatics, and explosive flavor profiles. Migration has sourced some of the most sought after grain in the Northwest, and they are leveraging all of their supplier relationships to get access to new, experimental hops.
