France just added "the guaranteed freedom for women to have an abortion" to its national constitution ✊️

[it was already a law but writing it into the constitution makes it harder to repeal] [and i know that the text isn't perfect because it mentions "women" and it's mostly symbolic, but hey, we take the victories we can, it's better to have something we can improve later on than nothing at all. if you wait for political purity, you'll never move forward.]
