Prompt 17 - Smitten

“Flowers, check. Chocolates, check. Romantic music, check. Roguishly handsome young man, double check.” Sirius snickered to himself as he checked that he’d packed everything he needed to take over to Remus’s. They’d met through mutual friends and hit it off pretty quickly. To be fair, Sirius had been smitten from the first words out of Remus’s mouth. ‘Do you know where the bog is?’ Ah, music to his ears. Today was the first Valentine’s Day they were spending together, and Sirius was well-prepared for any event. “Shit, condoms!” He said, slapping his hand to his forehead and running back into his house and grabbing the box he’d left on the kitchen table. Okay, now he was completely prepared. 

He looked up, swung a leg over his motorbike and drove over to Remus’s, where there was apparently a romantic dinner waiting for him. Sirius couldn’t wait.

^Even Lemmy knew how dangerous motorcycles were (in a world filled to death with cars, that is), which is probably why he never owned one, and thank fuck because we needed him alive decades later to keep the flame of Motörmusic alive and speeding.
