The Scarfolk Council, depicted as the governing authority, is known for its eerie and unsettling aesthetic, blending horror and science in a style termed "hauntology." Through blog posts, books, and visuals, Scarfolk parodies 1970s graphic design, creating a sense of unease and dark humor. The project serves as a commentary on the persistent influence of the past on the present and highlights the potential dangers of nostalgia and authoritarianism
