Notes:

Everything italicized is new, and there are three new SMPs this month! New Life SMP didn't make the cut, but there are over 20 fics in the uncategorized tag, so that has to be coming soon.

Fics are primarily in English, but now we have three exceptions with significant Spanish fics: Karmaland, Tortilla SMP, and QSMP. QSMP also includes fics in Brazilian Portugese and a (very few) in French.

Several of the smaller fandoms saw fic decreases, and 100 Hours Hardcore decreased for the second month in a row.

In the smaller fandoms, the standout was Witchcraft SMP, which saw an increase of 20 fics.

For mid-size fandoms, the standouts are Lifesteal SMP with 48 fics and Fable with 32. Lifesteal has not yet broken the 1000-fic mark but with the rate it's been going, I would be very surprised if it hadn't broken that barrier by next month.

Minecraft (Video Game) is no longer categorized under "Celebrities and Real People", it is only under "Video Game". As part of that reorganization I have to assume some fandoms were split out, because it actually saw a 640 fic decrease.

In the large fandoms, QSMP's 692-fic increase, while not quite reaching the height of last month's 816, beat out Origins, Empires, 3rd Life, and Hermitcraft for fics. The only one which beat it was Dream SMP with 1,357. QSMP saw less fics than last month, as mentioned, as did Hermitcraft (604 last month, only 486 this month) and 3rd Life (581 last month, only 363 this month) and Empires (320 last month, only 226 this month), but Dream SMP's 1,357 actually beat last month's 1,243.

So I was looking at the different f1 points systems over the years and I’ll probably do a long post on it but some interesting things that I found were that:

Only 352 drivers have scored at least 1 WDC point which means about half of all drivers have scored at least 1 point

Only 70 out of the 170 teams have scored a point so about 40%

There have been 1,104 world championship races (and I think Fernando’s driven in about a third of them)

The top 3 for most points scored are Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, and Max Verstappen (Fernando Alonso is 4th — approximately 400 points behind Max)

Max only needs about 461 more points to overtake Sebastian which could happen this year considering he finished last year with 575 points (he is still far away from reaching Lewis who is approximately 2000 points head of Max currently)

The Album Cover Art of Punk!

Burkhardt Seiler & Friends, eds.

Gingko Press 1998

Focusing mainly on a period of about ten years, roughly from 1975 to 1985, this book explores the design aesthetics of punk album covers and quite a bit more. Beginning with a few punk progenitors like The Stooges and The New York Dolls, the book quickly transitions to examples from the mid-70s, like the classic single sleeve for Sham 69’s “There’s Gonna Be a Borstal Breakout,” The Jam’s In the City, and of course The Sex Pistols. With some very loose thematic groupings (e.g. vampires, collages, glued letters, etc.) and roughly chronological, the book includes many covers from bands that are not usually considered punk bands, but they are all united by the punk aesthetic: immediate, rough, and breaking all the rules.

My favorite Bone Carver scenes in acowar (SPOILERS ALERT)

Those blue eyes flared with unholy delight. I hadn’t even known we’d kept this fragment. It had been stored until now—precisely for this sort of thing.

“So bloodthirsty, my new High Lady,” the Carver purred, picking up the cracked bone and turning it over in those small, delicate hands.

But the Carver… I could have sworn he looked toward me as the Cauldron’s power crashed into him. Could have sworn he smiled—and it was not a hideous thing at all.

The Cauldron wiped him away without any sign of effort.

NOTES: i won't lie by saying I didn't cry writing this. You know, today hasn't been one of the best days for me - I've noticed a few things about my body that I really don't like, and to top it off, my school holidays are ending and I suffer from anxiety, and school has always been a big trigger for me... So when I decided to edit out these Carver scenes to cheer myself up a bit, I ended up shedding a few tears at the end. Sad days are inevitable, I know that. I just try to pick myself up and move forward, something good will come, it always does, I know.

So... Deal with that sudden outburst and those little Carver scenes - oh, and as much as writer's block got me, I managed to write half of the first chapter of A Court of Dreams and Liberty, yes, the fanfic Carver x reader. But I promise the name will have a special meaning behind it.

O Sagrado Magistério da Igreja é dirigido pelo Papa, sucessor de Pedro, Cabeça visível do Corpo de Cristo.

Everyone needs to listen to The Beatles Artifacts. A lot of it has been released other ways but A LOT of it hasn't.

Here are my favorite moments of Artifacts 1

They used to play "I'll Follow The Sun" in Hamburg and the recording IS FROM HAMBURG

John's "If I Fell" demo BROKE ME. He sounds sooo sad

Also hearing the "ah ha haaa"s like he does in his solo career is so cool. I had no idea it started that early

And the song after that is Paul's demo "One and One is Two," which is one of my favorite unrecorded Beatles songs and has a very similar theme to "If I Fell"

I knew "She Said She Said" was originally He Said He Said but I didn't know John used male pronouns in his demo (it also sounds almost like modern day pop)

"and it makes me feel like me trousers are gone"

There is audio from Candlestick Park which is so surreal knowing it was their last show

John's "Good Morning Good Morning" Demo is so adorable

3 Full tracks of audio from Reshikesh, one includes the Beach Boys on harmony
