It's looking as though residential treatment is going to be a reality. I've filled out initial assessment papers, and I'm talking to someone on the phone early next week.

I've been feeling sooo much emotion about this. There is hope—a new hope—that I might actually be able to beat my eating disorder. There is fear, of the unknown, of what's to come, of judgment. There is sadness—leaving my boyfriend, my family, my best friend.

I need to tell my best friend still, and I'm scared as I know it's going to be really hard for her.

I also need to tell my IOP team, but for that I'm going to wait at least until I have a date and medical clearance. But either way I won't be taking fall classes, so I need to tell my campus job that I won't be returning in the fall.... which I have a ton of anxiety about because I also had to do the same thing with the summer semester.

There's alot of logistics and alot of emotions. S came over today, and I just cried for a long time.
