SUCCESS
If you're curious, this was my team
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Devil Homura was just there to tank the first two hits, and also a four-slotted devilmura will give the entire team 6mp regen so that was def helpful.
Tumblr media
I have to admit, that seemed completely impossible at first. I'm still not sure if there is a very f2p friendly way to do it, but I know some f2p players have succeeded.
Scene Zero Madoka is kind of incredible. She's not going to be a character who can build mp easily on her own-- you'll want another character with accele draw I think (MadoIro is great), but she's excellent at keeping the fight going once you get started. I basically doppeled with Oriko every single turn.
Tumblr media
If you're considering trying this, the one thing I'll say is that around here the fight becomes more intense. This is where the boss begins to ignore evade and hits even harder than before, so I recommend using some form of damage modifier at this point of her health. If you're using Masakoko or Mikage or something like that, the best offense buff would be Magia Damage Up.
Good luck everyone!!! I don't think I'll be trying this one on my alts haha

Supercell thunderstorm photographed in the late summer (AUGUST 17th!) near Geary, OK. This was back in the day when my 6mp Nikon D40 felt cutting edge. I still like the images it shot though!

[Video ID: Two sequences of grayscale viewport renders from the 3D modeling program Blender, stacked vertically. The upper shot repeats once in the time it takes for the lower shot to play. The top shot is a static close-up of several spiky plants and some rocks which stand alone for a moment before the legs of a scorpion character walk past behind them, exiting right. The lower shot shows that scorpion character clambering over a large rock and running toward the camera which moves with it, backward and to the right. The scorpion is laden with an umbrella on its tail, a potted-cactus passenger, and several containers on its back. Its claw hits a sign on its way off the screen; the sign spins to face the camera as round droplets spray in from the right where the characters disappeared. End ID]
I've been hesitant to update on this project here as I get closer to the end and have rendered animations with all the shaders in place. I don't want to steal impact from the final result or, worse, mark something practically finished as a WIP and have people imagining it better than it'll be (or giving me feedback I have to ignore for my own sanity).
Aside from maybe two keys on one shader, I am done with the third (lower) shot! And it got me set up with all the environment assets I needed for the first two shots, so they'll be ridonkulously faster since they're also shorter. As of stream this afternoon I've pretty much assembled the first shot's environment (as you can see above). I also got a basic 4-meters-per-second walk cycle set up, despite repeatedly psyching myself out -- because I let the legs not stretch quite to their limits, so they're moving over about the same number of frames as they did for the hectic 6mps walk I used to test the rigs.
This means we'll probably move on to the cactus-close-up meat of this three-shot sandwich during Monday's stream. It will involve a lot more of the rig than the legs-only, out-of-focus intro, so I'm not anticipating a completion within the week; but I am so excited to get on to the rendering and final show-off plotting.

Testing an old 6MP digital camera I picked up for 3€, 14 March 2023
Picked up a cheap digicam from the CEX website for 3€. I was thinking of converting it to full-spectrum, but now I'm thinking ... glitch art.
The CEX website is an excellent resource for cheap digicams from the dawn of the 21st century and occasionally they have some real bargains so I always keep an eye out.  Last week they were advertising a ‘generic 6MP camera’ for 3€. I like these particularly as you are never sure what you are going to get. It turned out to be a Casio Exilim EX-Z65 from 2007 in lovely condition complete with…
