Puzzles

Puzzles. They come in different counts, different boxes, and from different manufacturers. The more pieces you have the easier it is to lose some and the harder it is to solve. The picture could not become whole, complete without them. The box catches the eye, gives inspiration. Colors and textures finesse the mind to wonder what could be after all their time is spent. Will it be worth it? The manufacturers control the amount of care put into all of these aspects making sure all of the pieces are printed and cut correctly that nothing is missing. That the box has all of its colors, edges, and textures. But what sets manufacturers apart, is that in which the care in quality they use. My puzzle had 3000 pieces, my box is dented and missing many pieces it was incomplete, damaged, dull. The texture was worn and the color faded. Yet it was taken from its shelf. A new box was made from scratch with all the color, texture and care in the world. Its pieces refurbished and the lost parts restored with hand drawn pieces. Some parts fell off and were lost but found again and glued into place. The set which has never been whole was now complete, immerged a cherry blossom. From what was not that of a sapling before. Was the time worth it? The daunting task finished and forever will be whole.
