The Wink-Wotts! or Wink-Wotts or even just Wotts for short!
they are a 60s proto punk band that stared in the 50s, lowkey based on the beatles a bit but mostly 60s proto punk bands, I have a playlist for them and two fictional albums! the fictional albums include real songs from that area cus they fit what I hear for the Wink-Wotts. The lore is huge, none of them are dead in the present year yet, and uhm.. yeah,, I will explain a bit of lore,,
Iggy born Iggy 'Cj' Smith on October 7th, 1940, to parents Casey Jones 'Cj' Smith and Hailey Smith, grew up rich due to his mom having her daddies money, life was pretty much normal, then in 1942 on November 10th, Iggy's brother Sid would be born as Sid 'John' Smith. They lived a pretty good life, Iggy having an IQ of 400-500 by the age of 10 and Sid having an interest in art from a young age. Sadly their dad would disappear after Sid's 10th birthday, never to be seen again. Their mother blaming them like a bitch.. Iggy being too smart for elementary, was put into 6th by the age of 9 and would graduate high school at the age of 15! He didn't go college tho because whats the point in it? He just wanted his diploma and works at a record store, but that wouldn't happen until he turned 18, but between the year of waiting to work, he would sneak out his house to gigs and shows with his uncle, James Smith, it helped Iggy getting an interest in music!
At that point, Iggy starts a band with his brother Sid and his cousins, Ronnie and Johnny! Theyre twins lol, born in 1941, March 26th.
Iggy is the front man but he can play piano, drums, bass, guitar, etc!
Sid mostly plays bass and does back up vocals
Ronnie plays guitar and Johnny is on drums.
:3 thats all

Today's compilation:
The Best of 60s Rock / Rockin' 60s 1986 / 1987 Garage Rock / Psychedelic Rock / Proto-punk / Blue-Eyed Soul / Pop-Rock / Hard Rock / Acid Rock
Well, if you thought that this would be a well-rounded and thoughtfully put together look back at 60s rock like Priority Records' Best of 50s Rock was, you'd be wrong, because rather than provide a collection of songs that were reflective of all the different strains of rock that had manifested throughout that decade, the label just leaned pretty hard on the adjacent branches of garage and psychedelic rock instead. And while those are two types of rock that are substantial and indispensably integral to those years, they're definitely not fully representative of the decade as a whole.
So with this album, you get a pretty terrific grip of songs, and each of them are a 'highlight,' but given how expansive the scope was for this series' 50s counterpart, this release's overall lack of variety ends up leaving a little bit to be desired.
And Humble Pie's "Hot & Nasty" may be a terrific piece of bluesy boogie rock too, in which Steve Marriott sports his higher-pitched and passionate Rod Stewart-inspired rasp, but it's also a song that actually happens to be from 1972! So, like, what is it even doing on here?! That's like putting The Beatles' "Love Me Do" on a 50s album, man! Do better, Priority!
Highlights:
The Lovin' Spoonful - "Summer in the City" Steppenwolf - "Magic Carpet Ride" Seeds - "Pushin' Too Hard" Count Five - "Psychotic Reaction" Standells - "Dirty Water" Box Tops - "The Letter" Joe Cocker - "Feelin' Alright" Humble Pie - "Hot & Nasty" Blues Magoos - "(We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet" Shocking Blue - "Venus" Blue Cheer - "Summertime Blues" Outsiders - "Time Won't Let Me" Three Dog Night - "Eli's Coming" Monkees - "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone"

The Who perform "My Generation" on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, 1967. Drummer Kieth Moon bribed a stage hand to load a gunpowder charge into one of his drums, leading to a much larger explosion than intended.
