Iniciaré mis reseñas de series BL con "609 Bedtiem Story"

Llegue a ella por los personajes "Deam y Pham" de la historia "El hilo rojo" y pues dije; porque no, vamos a verla... Cabe resaltar que cuando llegue a esta serie, ya estaba en emisión.

Mi primera impresión fue "la serie está súper confusa" y mientras más veía los capítulos más enredado se volvía todo, al punto de dejarla en el cap 7 y tomar la dección de esperar a que terminara y luego verla de nuevo; siendo esta muy mala decisión, pues las respuestas ya las estaban dando en los capítulos que deje de ver y haciendo que toda la trama se fuera desenrredando, al punto de comprender todo...

La serie trata sobre los personajes Mum y Dew, que llegan a encontrarse gracias a que Mum puede viajar a través del multiverso a mundos paralelos, encontrándose con un Dew que vive en la misma habitación que él (en su universo) y la cual (habitación) es el medio por donde, tanto Mum como Dew, pueden viajar y encontrarse.

Es un amor predestinado que traspasa este universo, y que con el solo contacto de sus labios, estos saben que uno es el complemento del otro, sea que en su primer viaje (encuentro) estos no sepan nada del otro. Resaltando que de viaje en viaje, tanto Mum como Dew, solo tiene 1 hora y 5 minutos para verse y amarse. Siento que la finalidad de todos estos viajes, es que los Mum y Dew del primer universo se junten, para así acabar con los viajes de estos a los universos paralelos; igual, hay que esperar el capítulo 11.2 y el 12, pues el creador de la serie nos regalará varios finales alternativos.

Es un BL entretenido, se deja ver; pero no es el mejor BL que he visto. No se niega que la química de los prota es muy buena.

🌶️🌶️ - Jalapeño popper - 1 or 2 kisses, closed mouth or hidden behind camera angles, full of cheesy emotions but not sexual (Mr. Unlucky has No Choice but to Kiss)

🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Sriracha - at least 1 decent kiss, actual makeout with or without tongue, but clothes stay on (Bad Buddy, Semantic Error)

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Birds eye chili - multiple solid kisses and some clothes come off, but cuts away before any pants come off and hands generally stay above the waist, it's implied that they have sex but we only see the very start of the encounter (609 Bedtime Story, Between Us, Until We Meet Again)

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Specialty hot sauce - all or most clothes come off at least once, full on simulated sex happens though it can be masked with sultry background music and may or may not include an implication of climax (Ghost Host Ghost House, Cutie Pie, Long Time No See)

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Carolina reaper - full nudity at some point, though junk may be cleverly hid with angles and conveniently placed furniture, these boys fuckin and there ain't no ambiguity about it, sexy sounds at full volume rather than replaced by music or voiceover (Kinnporsche, Love in the Air)

🌶️☠️ - Pepper spray - there's full on sex and/or nudity but it's not pleasant or intended to be sexy, can apply to graphic SA scenes or just the marketing campaign for Dangerous Drugs Of Sex

A toast to us making it through February in QL Land.

This month was exhausting, but we made it!

We watched two endings of 609 Bedtime Story.

We watched Sam wear pink in GAP.

We watched the chaos unfold in Hit Bite Love.

We watched Chinzhilla participate in the Hot Wave competition in My School President.

We watched Alex educate the masses in The Warp Effect.

We watched Palm FINALLY call Nueng by his name in Never Let Me Go.

We watched Hira rise to meet Kiyoi in My Beautiful Man 2.

We watched the stepbrothers plot of HIStory 4: Close to You carry over into HIStory 5: Love in the Future.

We watched a pen, a cat, and a broken liquor bottle play matchmakers in Moonlight Chicken.

We watched several other QLs end (Candy Color Paradox, Individual Circumstances, I Will Knock You) and even more begin (Jack O' Frost, The End of the World with You, Bed Friend, Chains of Heart).

But no matter how they ended or began, one thing is for sure...

With all these QLs being released, with the amount of diverse characters and stories being told, and with most of them shouting for marriage equality and change,

We stay winning!

ok... I don't know if I'm losing my mind and I know that we've seen the bar from ofts in between us. But I'm absolutely sure the kitchen is the same as in 609 bedtime story.

But Yolo's always really dark and the bar (where you order the drinks I mean) is not the same and it would've been a massive redecoration. But could the bar itself be the same? The only think constant in both places is the brick walls and maybe the location of the stage. I think the bar in 609 had the glass windows next to the stage, in ofts they put curtains in the same place. Although there is a brick column missing in yolos which makes me doubt myself.

But the thing is I also think the outside is the same.

Is it possible, or am I seeing things where none exist? Please help me oh wise ones. And feel free to tell me I'm delusional. Because I probably am. Not about the kitchen tho. That for sure is the same.

(I also blame @dribs-and-drabbles for making me look at everything like it's a puzzle to solve. I haven't found the yellow shirt but I'm starting the bl closet folder )

I have so much to catch up on, friends.

I'm multiple episodes behind on Between Us and Gap, have only watched one Cutie Pie 2, one behind on 609 and I Will Knock You, I can't watch the latest MSP until my kid is caught up, haven't started Dirty Laundry yet, I haven't seen the last two The Director Who Buys Me Dinner, and I just started Fish Upon the Sky (to deal with the NLMG anxiety) and still have half a season to go. And I'm definitely forgetting about at least one thing.

There are too many things on. (And this is ignoring my ridiculous watch list and the specific episodes of things I'm obsessively rewatching)

609 Bedtime Story has me a little messed up in the head:

I remember in my last post I said that now P’Mum will have to choose between his own Happiness with Dew or let Mint have hers, AND HE CHOSE MINT!!

P’Mum!!!!!! I understand that you love Mint and want her to be happy BUT based on what you know, you KNOW that Dew doesn’t love Mint, if he did then he would’ve accepted Mint’s CONSTANT attempts at asking him out in the past.. You just unnecessarily Hurt yourself, set up Mint for failure (cause that relationship is gonna go to shit) and created drama and confusion for Dew (especially now that Dew is getting visited by another Mum from a different universe)

No lie, if it wasn’t for Ohm and Fluke, I would have quit the show in frustration!! Lol 😂

Did GMMTV and P'Aof wait to release Moonlight Chicken now (a year after it was announced), so the ending could occur in the Year of the Rabbit since rabbits are connected to (full) moons?

Did they wait for it to be last in the Midnight Series because the airing dates (Feb. 8 - Mar. 2) fall in between full moons (Feb. 6 & Mar. 7)?

Was this big brained energy planned the same way The Eclipse (its ending depicting the eclipse correlated with a real-life eclipse) and 609 Bedtime Story (it aired the same date as the date Mum and Dew meet in the show)?

Is Never Let Me Go also going to give us the Chinese Valentine's Day moment of the cowheader and the weaver girl on Valentine's Day?

ARE THESE THE REASONS I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THESE SHOWS TO BE RELEASED?!
