every day i dream of drawing on larger canvases but my computer can barely handle saving 16x10" at 300dpi so i really might just have to throw in the towel

Hello! I really love your art. It's so pleasing and nice. I was wondering what canvas size/resolution you use for your comic strips. I've been trying to get some clean line art in my own drawings, but my lines always come out kinda pixilated.

hi! a good rule of thumb i learned in school was whatever size you want your image to be, draw it at double the width/height, and then save it at half size. for instance if you want to draw something that'll fit an HD screen (1920x1080px) then draw it at (at least) 3840x2160px, then either reduce your image size and save, or save it at 50% size, whichever is easier! and make sure your resolution is set to 300dpi (or higher. youll get larger, crisper images with a higher dpi, but your file sizes can get huge which is not always the best)

the canvas size i use for comics is a standard A4 ratio, 2480x3508px (or 21x29.7cm) at 300dpi, then save the final image at about half the size. sometimes less just because tumblr image quality is a thing i still havent figured out how to handle lmao

Your strong lines in soft/matching colors to the coloring, the soft shapes combined with sharp edges, the boldness of your colors, and the way you do eyes.

oh like the way i do the lineart in multiple colors to match the flats? skdhfhs also i think the soft shapes w sharp edges are partly my style, partly bc i work on fucking enormous canvases for no good reason (i know i should chill out but u have to understand i need my sharp clean lines i Need them)
