oh hey one more really stupid sock construction before i go: tablet woven heel band! this pair is a christmas gift for a good friend so i'm not modeling them myself, but the water bottle works ok. (i am not immune to a non-knitter who appreciates and actually wears hand-knit items, and my friend, god love him, lacks the good sense to tell me to quit giving him weird stuff, so here we are.)
i can't find the post now, but i remember seeing someone on here tablet-weave a color transition for... a sweater? a shawl? i don't even remember anymore. anyway, the idea was still knocking around in my head when i found the squircle sock pattern, which starts with a cuff in the round, adds a very long and narrow heel flap (only 6 stitches wide!), and picks up stitches on either side of it to work in the round again. this monstrosity replaces the original garter stitch heel flap with a short tablet-woven band grafted onto the back of the cuff. to "pick up stitches" along the side, i wove each section with some slack in the weft, using a couple dpns to keep things even (looking back, i don't think i actually used the weft loops themselves as the "slipped stitches," because you can already see the warp twists kind of coming undone along the sides of the dpn-less section in the bottom photo? i think i ran another bit of scrap thread through those loops, tightened the slack out of the weft, used the scrap thread as the slipped stitches, and then tightened those loops out too once i'd gotten a couple rounds into the rest of the sock to get the knitted stitches flush with edges of the woven band.)
things i would do differently if i made these again: tablet weaving is a twined weaving style, so it's a bit thick, and it gets even thicker when you have to weave in the ends. this pattern uses 18 tablets with 4 threads each, for a total of 18 x 4 x 2 x 2 = 288 total ends that need weaving in, which as you can imagine is Deeply And Profoundly Unfun. i might do a missing-hole tablet woven pattern (which the "dublin dragons" motif is supposed to be anyway, but i wanted three colors to match the flag stripes), or i might do a baltic pickup band instead, which should reduce the bulk a bit.
#these are the stupidest things i've ever made BAR NONE#fiber art#knitting#knitblr#tablet weaving#next year i'll make him something nice and normal with a lot of fun colorwork i swear. but this year we're getting unhinged with it :D#subcreation#aggressive linguistic prescriptivism#inland

King Cleo Wig (Medusa/Gorgon) Tutorial!!!
So for those who were interested I wanted to share how I made my King Cleo Wig!
Step 1: I ordered two of the same orange wig and started by taking one of the wig and ripping the wefts out of it with a seam ripper.
Step 2: To get rid of shine and help detangle I soaked all of the wefts in fabric softener and left them to air dry
Step 3: Once dry I detangled the wefts and straightened them
Step 4: I made the snake shapes (four in total) out of tinfoil and covered them in masking tape. This gives the surface a bit of grit for the hair to old onto.
Step 5: This ones the most tricky by far, I used hot glue to stick the wefts to the snakes and glued as I was wrapping the hair around. Once I finished I would spray them with got2b. Though looking back the hot glue doesn't look very good so you should probably use tacky glue. This will take longer to dry but look better in the end.
Step 6: Repeat that process three more times!
Step 7: Once done with the snakes you can move onto the base wig. This depends on personal preference as you may want to style it differently than I did. I chose to do tight curls and since I didn't have a small curling wand at the time I used a pencil and a flat iron to get this effect.
Step 8: We're very close to done! It's time to put faces on the snakes. I did this by painting jewels blue and green. I also cut a snake tongue shape out of an old index card and painted them red for the tongue. After that I glued those parts on and pinned the front sections of the wig back.
Step 9: Finally while for a more permanent option you can sew these snakes in. I decided to install clips so I could take the snakes out and use the wig for others things. After that you're done! Hope this was helpful and not too long.

I did my first pass at faceup ideas for the imomo boyz last night, starting with the HACK-B head before working on the chocolate HACK-A head.
I'm not 100% sure what to do with his mouth yet, nor am I certain this is the art style I want to go with for them, but it's a good place to start! I couldn't help but laugh while working on this and looking at their big bald heads...
On that note, I spent a while looking at wig options for them, but wasn't able to find anything i totally loved that wasn't out of stock, so I started researching how to make a wig instead. I have some experience with modifying cosplay wigs, so making something from wefts isn't the most intimidating prospect, and this way I get to be a control freak about how their hair is styled ^_^
I'm also planning on making their eyes myself with either glass cabochons or polymer clay and UV resin. I have some 12mm glass lying around from a previous art doll project, but imomodoll recommends 14 mm eyes for their 1/6 heads, so we'll just have to wait and see when they arrive. I want to see what painting the eyes with watercolor will look like, I hope to achieve a soft, subtle look with them.
Shoes will be the hardest thing to source, I think, but I'm comfortable making the rest of their clothes, which will consist of conical hats, simple tunics, and stockings for now (think stereotypical gnome clothes.) I'd like to find them some little boots when I can. Eventually I'd like to have more clothing options for them, but I'm trying my very best not to put the cart before the horse, so to speak.

How Can I Distinguish Between Different Types Of Denim (Denim Fabrics)?
Between Different Types Of Denim Fabrics
Denim is a garment that can be worn all year round. How to distinguish between different types of denim (denim): Firstly, according to the thickness of denim, it is divided into 4.5 amps, 6 amps, 8 amps, 10 amps, 11 amps, 12 amps, 13.5 amps, 14.5 amps, etc. 4.5 amps are fragile and are commonly used in summer for women's vests, sleeveless garments, etc. 14.5 amps are already very thick. In winter, men's cotton jackets can be lined with cotton. Most of the jeans we often wear start at 8-12 A.
In terms of the type of denim fabric, it can be divided into plain, twill, herringbone, interwoven, bamboo, dark, flocked, etc.
In terms of composition, denim is available in 100 percent cotton, stretch (Lycra), cotton and linen blends, and tencel.
At present, the famous denim varieties at home and abroad are mainly Yuan Bao silk denim, warp, and weft bamboo denim, super indigo-dyed denim, jacket color, what color denim, warp, and weft stretch denim, etc.
1. Ring spun yarn denim
With the development and application of new technology equipment such as ring spinning, high speed, large rolls, good contact, knotless yarn, etc., the short length of thick spinning, low production efficiency, knots, and other shortcomings are solved.
The situation of denim yarns being replaced by air-flow yarns is rapidly changing, and ring spinning yarns are making a comeback.
The ring yarn denim has some superior properties to those of air-flow yarns, such as feel, suspension, tear strength, etc., and because of the psychological influence of people returning to nature and pursuing originality in the development of denim styles. This is in line with today's need for individuality in denim.
In addition, the ring spindle can be used to weave short, dense bamboo knots, which is a popular feature of denim.
2. Bamboo denim
The design of bamboo yarns with different yarn grades, different thicknesses (about the baseline), lengths and distances of bamboo joints, in the single warp direction, single weft direction, warp, and weft bi-directional configuration, and with the appropriate design of ordinary yarns of the same or different grades, allows for the production of a wide variety of bamboo denim. Which, after washing and processing, results in a variety of blurred, well-defined stripes.
In the early days, most of the bamboo denim was made from ring-spun bamboo yarn, which was spun in short lengths, with a slight pitch and relatively high density to create a dense decorative effect on the fabric, mainly leading to the bamboo knots.
In line with the evolving consumer demand, warp and weft bi-directional denim are now famous, especially bi-directional denim products with weft elasticity, which are very popular in domestic and international markets.
You can make some grades with a single rate of ring spindle thread and a suitable proportion of bamboo thread in the weft direction, provided that the tissue structure is well designed.
3. Weft stretch denim
The use of polyurethane elastomeric yarns has led to a new dimension in the development of denim varieties, making denim garments comfortable to wear. With the help of bamboo knots and colors, denim products can be adapted to fashionable and personalized consumer needs, with great potential for development.
At present, elastic denim is mostly weft stretchy, with an elongation of 20-40%. The amount of extension depends on the fabric design. The tighter the weft, the less flexible it is, and the faster the weft to a certain point.
In addition, the problem of weft shrinkage in the finished stretch denim fabric is currently too significant, generally above 10 %, with some cases reaching 20 % or more.
The solution is not to increase the product's elasticity in the product's design, which is generally 20-30% but to maintain a certain tension in the warp and weft against the tissue and increase the pressure in the pre-finishing width of the fabric shrinks considerably. The finished fabric has a low residual shrinkage in the weft.
📷
4. Specialty fiber
Super indigo-dyed or unique dark indigo-dyed denim produces garments that are sharpened to give a special effect of rich, bright colors that are very popular with consumers.
Super indigo-dyed denim is characterized by a particularly deep dyeing and excellent colorfastness.
The former means that the amount of indigo dye dyed per unit weight of yarn (in general, % of the dry weight of the thread, referred to as % dyeing depth) is exceptionally high. e.g., typical denim fabric is dyed 1% to 3% deeper by indigo dyeing of the yarn, while super-indigo dyeing depth is more than 4%.
The latter means that super-indigo dyed denim needs to be washed repeatedly for more than 3 hours. However, the color still reaches or exceeds the color depth of everyday dyed denim when it is not passed, and its color is much brighter than relaxed dyed denim.
For blue-dyed denim, the fastness of polishing depends essentially on the degree of transmission of the dye through the threads, not on the fastness to the polishing of the paint itself (blue wet polish fastness is only graded 1), i.e., the better the transmission, the better the fastness to polishing.
In the past, the so-called indigo-dyed fast-wash technique was, in fact, a deliberate attempt to make the indigo dye lighter to the core of the fiber during the yarn dyeing process. The method requires a remarkable degree of core penetration of the paint, resulting in a deep, bright color after the denim polishing process.
The dyeing depth of super-indigo dyed denim products is increased by more than 60 % compared to conventional denim dyeing. The concentration of indigo in the dye solution is doubled to 3-4 g/L, making it possible to obtain deep colors.
This increases the viscosity of the dyeing solution, resulting in poor flow, which affects the ability of the dye to penetrate the cryptic chromophores and reduces the polish fastness of the denim, which does not meet the final depth required for garment production.
As a result, some companies design to increase the dye depth again, increasing the concentration of indigo in the dye solution again, which deteriorates the penetration performance and creates a vicious circle of back and forth, not meeting the requirements of super indigo color.
The higher the concentration of indigo in the dye, the heavier the color's redness, the darker the color, and the lack of super-indigo effect.
For this reason, many manufacturers are now ready to modify their dyeing equipment to solve this problem by increasing the number of dyeing passes.
For example, increasing the number of dyeing passes to 8, or even 10, not only increases the investment costs, the consumption of dyeing materials, the operational difficulties, and the environmental pollution.
An excellent way to solve this contradiction is to reduce the amount of insurance powder and alkali. Especially the control of the amount of alkali so that the pH value of the dyeing solution is stable between 11 and 12, the dyeing rate is the highest, the color is durable, and the dyeing tension of the gauze is reduced appropriately to obtain an excellent super blue diamond dyeing effect.
📷
5. Colour matching denim
Various denim varieties are now prevalent to increase the color and light variations of the indigo denim variety.
For example, indigo over-dyed sulfur black, indigo over-dyed sulfur grass green, sulfur black green, sulfur blue, etc., to meet the personalized needs of the market.
At the same time, denim mills have patented new varieties of denim to increase their competitiveness in the market.
In this regard, we should pay attention to controlling the concentration of the masterbatch as much as possible to prevent excessive spillage of contaminated liquor, which wastes pollutants and expands the pollution of the environment.
6. Color denim
There are mainly bromine indigo (commonly known in the market as emerald blue) denim and sulfur black denim, as well as coffee, emerald green, grey, khaki, sulfur blue denim using a combination of sulfur dyes, and a small amount of red, peach, toffee denim dyed with appropriate dyes and reactive dyes, etc. The production volume is small, but the market demand is urgent.
The main problem is that the color light is unstable, the dyeing is poorly valued, and the garment factories are not satisfied. This is related to the small production batch and the large variety of colors. Still, the dyeing and slurry combination machine has difficulties producing any color variety, consumes a lot, costs a lot, and has problems in sewage treatment.
One solution is to design the machine to minimize the number of color combinations using as few as possible two color combinations and no more than three. Or to use other stable dyestuffs instead to adapt to the dyeing line's production characteristics and obtain a long-lasting dyeing result. Or to solve the problem once and for all by using The color weaving plant is ideal for the production of mixed-color denim using a high-capacity yarn dyeing and warping process.
Talk about how to sew denim on a car.
This is the key to designing a denim garment.
Turning threads: mostly 2-minute single-sided, 2-minute single-sided, 2-minute double-sided, generally earthy yellow (and other clashing threads), but also color-coordinated threads; note the color-coordinated threads after washing.
Special technical threads, such as the word thread.
Thicker hand embroidery threads.
Materials:
denim, I-buttons, four-way buttons, studs, cockles, picks, metal zips, etc.
Markings:
these include central markings, size markings, wash markings, markings, side markings, etc.
Denim is the problem of denim shrinkage. The denim factory master is the busiest; ordinary denim also has 2-3% horizontal shrinkage, elastic denim shrinkage reaches more than 10%. Each roll of denim is different, so the denim master's version will never end.
Generally speaking, there is a lot of casual denim, mainly cut on a flat surface, and sizing is significant.
Stretch denim (including Lycra) is tricky; it's mainly used for women's slim-fitting jackets, flattering low-waisted jeans. With the shrinkage of 10% or more, the shape is constantly being adjusted. And the most crucial thing about jeans is that they don't wrinkle at the front; they need to fit snugly. In the last two years, some of the biggest brands have released three-dimensional silhouettes, as we learned with the stand-up cut, with many wrinkles on the knees.
📷
7. The technique of embellishment in denim
The last two years have seen a departure from previous denim trends, not only in terms of variations in washes but also in the techniques used to embellish jeans.
Burr:
the leg of the jeans, the trousers trimmed with scissors, plus remarkable thread embroidery, including computerized embroidery designs.
Hot drill:
this is popular with the Russian market for applique embroidery, hand embroidery, bead embroidery, and technical designs.
Glue printing:
hard to the touch, wash easily, and peels off.
Laser:
burns off all the colors of the cloth to reveal the color of your fabric, and can also be used with wool, faux leather, corduroy, thick knit (fleece, sanitary), and other fabrics.
Many different designs can be made for denim.
Jeans, denim shirts, denim jackets, skirts, coats, etc., are places to express your creativity and talent.

Making of Yami Malik Wig
Every now and then I have people asking me how I made my Yami Ma wig and I decided to post a little making of. It was the first wig that I EVER styled, so I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what I was doing and I bet there are a lot better ways to do things, but maybe this can still help others.
STARTING MATERIALS:
Wig: Arda Jareth in Ash blonde + 3 short wefts in the same color
Ponal Fugenleim (some kind of wood glue? joint glue? Idk)
hot glue
Got2b Spray Glue
Squishy Foam (white worked well for me because it still allows some light to shine through, thus making it look a tiny bit more natural later)
lots of hair bands
pins and hair scissors
needle and thread (same color as your wig if possible)
A WHOLE LOT OF BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS, possibly also shadow magic or a virgin sacrifice
Required Time:
I was alwas working one spike after the other or if two spikes were symmetrical, then I did both spikes at once
with that speed it took me two evenings per spike/symmetrical spike pair because I needed 1 day to coat the foam and 1 evening to insert the spikes and style them
all in all I think I spent 2-3 months on this beast (had to work a lot, could only work on it like 8-16 h per week)
Step 1: Determine your spikes
take the foam and glue two layers together to make it thicker
carve out the shape of spikes
pin the spikes into the wig to see where you want to have them
tie hair around them
check how it looks like
refine
Step 2: Fill up the wig with wefts
take a look at your spikes and figure out where you need more hair in the wig
take the spikes out again
fill the wig up by sewing lots and lots of wefts in it
cut the wefts to match the wig length
IMPORTANT: Keep what you cut off the wefts, you will need it later
Step 3: Prepare the spikes
I noticed that some foam was still shining through if I just put some hair around it with hairsray
to prevent that, take the hair that you cut off the wefts and glue it onto the foam with the wood glue
try to cover all sides of the foam except for where the surface that will be glued into the wig later
let it dry overnight
Step 4: Insert the spikes into the wig
take a comb and carefully separate the wig hair where you want to insert your spike
then hotglue that bitch in, but take care not to hotglue it to the wig head
that works well for the top of the head where the wig net is very dense
take care to glue it onto the bands of the wig net thingie in the back so the spikes hold nicely
hold it in position until the glue cooled down
once the spike is firmly inserted into the wig, use a comb and try to see how it looks like if you brush the hair that is intended for this spike over the spike
Most likely you'll see there will be some holes here and there
Use more wefts to fill them up
Best is to glue the wefts between foam and wig hair, so that the wig hair will cover the seam of the weft
brush the wig and weft hair over the spike and check if now everything's covered
If everything looks nice, hold it in place and fix the roots with Got2B spray glue
use the wood glue to fix the tips of the spikes (this makes the tips of the spikes very hard, but they hold in place quite nicely if you cover the foam and the whole tip of their in the glue. Just take care that you have glue that dries transparent and doesn’t turn white)
I always liked to cover the tip of the hair-covered spike with glue, then press the wig/weft hair on it and then apply more glue on the tip of the spike
fix the tips with something to hold them in place while the glue dries, but it shouldn’t be too tight or else it might leave marks
looks like this when done
Step 5: Refine
add some tiny spikes to loosen up everything
those can be either tiny foam spikes covered in wefts
or just wefts that you styled a bit with Got2B
Step 6: Finished Result
(my glue dried white at some places and I hate it, but I don’t have the energy to do something about it and this is how it’s gonna be now XD)
Another note:
due to the glue and the extra wefts, the wig might get quite heavy, so be prepared for that
I didn’t do anything with the bangs because I just couldn’t anymore. I just spray them a bit to the side with Got2B so they don’t fall into my face and that’s it

AMERICAN FOOTBALL FT. HAYLEY WILLIAMS - UNCOMFORTABLY NUMB
[6.17]
thesingl esjukebox
Vikram Joseph: On American Football's 1999 debut album (and, for some 17 years thereafter, their only album), laconic, meandering guitar lines intertwined and diverged, set against a pillowy backdrop of woozy horns and jazz-tinged percussion; Mike Kinsella's vocals drifted in and out like conversation through patches of broken sleep, feeling more like another instrument than a driving force for the song. The songs were rarely streamlined, but in their soft drift they captured, with heart-stopping precision, something ephemeral and intangible -- sunlit fields and slow dusks, an essence of youth and summer. "Uncomfortably Numb" is the Before Midnight to the Before Sunrise of their early songs: older, harder, burdened with regrets and worn down by disappointment. It's more conventionally structured than any other American Football song, borne on a crisp, clean, cyclical Plans-era Death Cab guitar line, and some of Kinsella's lyrics (not always his strongest suit, and better as hazy evocation rather than narrative) are a little on-the-nose ("I blamed my father in my youth/now as a father, I blame the booze"). But it builds a melancholy beauty all the same, Kinsella's voice interweaving with that of Hayley Williams in the flickering chorus; "The lessons are so much less obvious the further you get from home," rings awfully true. The solutions don't present themselves so easily when the issues get this hard to unravel. [7]
Iris Xie: How does one capture the sadness and tenderness at inevitable breakdowns, and the connected hope and sorrow that ties together such tragedy? Through a production that imitates the warmth of moving amongst muted pastel clouds, for muddled psyches and safe spaces. The creation of the space, which facilitates and echoes the depth of the relationship and their connected interiorities, is conveyed through the glowing guitars, patient drums, soft harmonizing, and evocative but hazy lyrics, and sets the environment for a simultaneous warmth and distancing, with endless compassion. There is this beautiful sound in the background where I can't tell whether it's one of the singers slowly humming in the back, or it is a gently played horn, but it is chilling in conveying their not telepathic, but almost as connected, thoughts, even from a distance. When their voices overlap, they glimmer. As Williams sings over his monologue, it results in an incredibly succinct expression of their struggles: "Now I'm used to struggling (tied to a contortionist)/for two"; his last two words are swallowed, giving an impression that he may only be starting to come to terms with how he is hurting for both him and his inner child, while she understands too well what is occurring as an outsider. This conveys clarity in what level of disaster is occurring, as he continues to turn away from home. Unfortunately, there lies the familiar tale to many womxn-identified folks, because Williams's POV remains at home, frustrated and exhausted after her sacrifice. They echo as they distance: "I just want you home/I'll make new friends/In the ambulance." The instrumentals empty out to a lingering, uncertain optimism, and complete this quiet hush of family tragedy. There are no harsh disasters here -- just the slow, ebbing progression towards the rock bottom, from which up is the only way to go. [10]
Joshua Minsoo Kim: As I get older, I find myself far more attuned to the melancholic music of singer-songwriters written in adulthood than in youth. That's partially because so many of these earlier albums -- from Down Colorful Hill to Songs About Leaving to American Football's debut -- defined my teenage years, but also because they featured incredibly overt depictions of angst and malaise. American Football's music post-reunion is far less insular, and with their aging band members comes a more precise portrait of my current life: one characterized by the ability to function in the real world despite persistent, unceasing depression. In other words, the emotions here are palpable because they're less flashy -- after all, histrionic melodrama will only draw attention to one's own childishness, and we're all trying to avoid that, right? With "Uncomfortably Numb," Mike Kinsella finally makes the song I've always wanted him to make. On "Bad News" and "Ugly on the Inside," he delivered harrowing diatribes against friends that I personally read as songs written for himself (this line of thinking being an obvious projection of my own self-hatred). But here, he enlists Paramore's Hayley Williams to take on the role of a wife who's hurt by his decisions. Her topline is unmistakably Kinsella's (the "clear"/"see-through" line being a dead ringer for his lyrical style), so this track does give the semblance of Kinsella addressing himself, but I'm mostly reminded of conversations I've had with my sister; my parents never quite understood or acknowledged my depression, so my sister was the only family member who was evidently concerned about my mental health. But after years of my sister dealing with me, I understand that if she ever caught me in the worst of states again, there would be this mix of pain and compassion and tiredness that Hayley so effortlessly captures here. Her feature is doubly affecting because she represents a generation of emo bands that came after American Football's, highlighting how Kinsella is still succumbing to these habits and mindsets perpetuated by depression. The twinkling guitars and winding drums act to remind listeners of why it can be so hard to break free; the instrumentation is as pretty as anything on the 1999 debut, but it's also incredibly familiar, incredibly safe. When depressive thoughts and actions feel like the warp and weft of your being -- the typical non-solution to dealing with hardship or success or anything at all -- it's easy to default to such a mode of living, even when the numbness is uncomfortable. [9]
Iain Mew: As a dad who just lost my dad, I'm doing the mental equivalent of holding my hand in front of my face to avoid looking at this directly. Except it's all so gentle, nothing but chiming charm, that it's more like the recent time that the sunlight through my office window was perfectly lined up with the corner of my eye but I couldn't even see it there, just notice that my eyes kept watering. [6]
Thomas Inskeep: Never have heard them before, this is American Football, the supposedly legendary emo band? Because "Uncomfortably Numb" sounds uncomfortably like a soft Jason Mraz song. Emo as Adult Contemporary in 2019: who knew? [3]
Jonathan Bradley: The first time I heard the word "emo" was from the tracklist of Blink-182's Dude Ranch; they had named one of their songs this because it sounded a bit like Jimmy Eat World. I didn't know that then, so I got on to a search engine through my high school's computer lab -- school had internet, unlike home -- and AltaVista or Ask Jeeves wondered if I might be looking for Emo Philips. Or maybe an emu? Blink's intentions remained occluded for a few more years until I caught a chance airing of a Get Up Kids song on the radio, which led me to SongMeanings' deconstructions of Sunny Day Real Estate and early Pitchfork pans of The Promise Ring. Then the girl in my drama class with the cool hair who changed her name told me I had to listen to Death Cab because "Photo Booth" was "the most emo song ever." At a time when music gleamed with such bright intention -- even the "alternative" acts of the time, like Korn or Green Day, performed in spit-polished block capitals -- these foreign bands I glimpsed through newly connected dial-up sounded like nothing else: they could be muted, they could be unhewn, they could be obtuse. They were American, but a model of Americanness that was unknowable in Australia then. They were always, in a way mass culture seemed to discourage, unfailingly and embarrassingly earnest. I never heard American Football in 1999; we had the internet at home, but my precious download quota was spent, by chance, on Braid and Texas is the Reason. Hearing the shivering guitar tendrils of "Uncomfortably Numb" now, with its calm and studied drum figures, drops me vividly back into those days. Mike Kinsella's plain voice arcs modestly over the fussiness, melding at times indistinguishably with that of his stylistic successor Hayley Williams, and maybe its only beautiful in the context of the late 20th century. But no; it is beautiful now, too. [8]
Will Rivitz: "I'll never forget the first time I heard American Football because, like, you don't forget the halcyon summer before you depart your home city and go to university," begins a review of the band's reunion LP three years ago, and I think that's pretty on the mark for how people about my age consume and relate to this kind of emo. So much of its appeal is a nostalgia for times we were too young to know when they were happening and, a few years after that, a nostalgia for that nostalgia, the age at which this was the music punching our collective gut. It's weird and a little difficult to articulate: there's something comforting about looking back at other young adults when you yourself were one, understanding that, despite differences in musical diets and environments and technology and what have you, a college-aged guitar virtuoso is probably going to have the same sorts of fears you do. That, I think, is what makes emo's particular nostalgia so powerful; as late-teenaged walking and talking existential crises, we found solace in looking back. We learned that the late-teenaged walking and talking existential crises of a few decades back both captured how we felt with stunning accuracy and, often, made it through alive, helping us feel both less alone and less desolate. Even nostalgia has its limits, though, and though there's no obvious line to demarcate absolutely everything that can be contained in emo's resonant power, it seems reasonable to conclude that Hoobastank is not one of those things. [3]
Will Adams: Wisely restrained, dreamy but devastating, and generally pleasant to hear. At least during the moments it doesn't remind me of "The Reason." [6]
Tim de Reuse: The only good things about American Football's post-reunion material have been the parts that kinda sound like they could've been written back in the nineties, when their crisp, angst-driven debut wormed its way into the hearts of many a disaffected suburbanite. Judging by this single, it looks like their 2019 album is gonna be gaudy, covered in sparkly reverb and dramatic electric guitar tremolos -- and I'm not thrilled about that -- but while I sharply disagree with their sound engineer, I can't fault the composition itself, or the gorgeous (as always) showing by drummer Steve Lamos, or the choice of subject matter. Teenage stress gives way to directionless middle-aged depression: "How will I exist," he says, and there's a weird pang in my chest I didn't expect to get from a band that spent 14 years broken up. [6]
Alfred Soto: I hope these guys gave their engineer a bonus: boy, do those arpeggios sparkle. "Uncomfortably Numb" sparkles to muddled effect, for what they recorded is a valentine to anomie disguised as a depiction. [5]
Ian Mathers: I'm not sure what I expected (having not paid much attention back in the day) when I finally got around to hearing all these reunited or still going post-emo acts, but it sure wasn't for it all to be so determinedly, shapelessly... pleasant. I feel like I enjoyed it, but 10 seconds after it stops it's already vanished from memory. [6]
Alex Clifton: There are a lot of lovely quiet moments in this song with the rolling guitar in the background and some gorgeous harmonies between Hayley Williams and Mike Kinsella; this is more of the music I always wanted to hear Williams do. But something about it doesn't punch me the way it should. A song called "Uncomfortably Numb" should at minimum wedge itself under my skin with some hard truths about life I'd rather not acknowledge; if it wants to go harder, it should leave me devastated. But there's a lot to be said for the numbness here; try as I might to feel for these people, I can't conjure the feeling. [5]

How to Make Todoroki’s Wig
Base wig is Derek CLASSIC in Silver from @ardawigs. I decided to start off with splicing the wig into two pieces to dye them separately. This way, I will get a clean finish without the color bleeding onto the other half. I then flipped the wig inside out and marked the center area where I’m going to cut it down.
2. When cutting the wefts, be sure to keep the hair out of the way, so no shedding can occur. Here’s a demonstration of how I did it:
youtube
3. Once cut, it will look like this:
What applies to dying human hair doesn’t necessarily apply when it comes to synthetic wigs, meaning, you can’t lighten the color with bleach or use regular or semi-permanent hair dye like Manic Panic. Choosing the color of the base wig depends entirely on the kind of results you want. I usually go with light colors to have a blank canvas, but there are times where I also pick darker shades like Ash Black. There are two routes you could take, one would be to use disperse dyes to get vibrant colors like reds, blues and greens, and the second is to use acid dyes to darken the shade or give the wig an acrylic wash to get natural colors.
Here’s a mini-guide into dying synthetic fibers:
:
5. Going back to Todoroki’s wig, I used the stovetop method where you first fill a pot with enough water, place it on the stovetop and bring the water up to a boil. Next, pour half of the powder package of Idye Poly in Crimson (If I were to do it again, I’d add a bit of red) and the entire package of color intensifier into the water, and stir until evenly dissolved. Lastly, dunk the wig into the dye bath for about two minutes while stirring constantly.
6. It’s very important to rinse the wig until the water runs clear, otherwise the dye will bleed onto the white half of the wig, your face and your clothes too.
7. And now to stitching the skin top back together. Try to align the two pieces next to each other, instead of on top of one another without having any gap so that you can attach them with a ribbon.
8. The more time-consuming option would be hand sewing the two halves together, but you can sew it with a sewing machine just like what I did here. I also matched the thread color with each half.
youtube
9. Again, hand-sewing is a preferable option here, so you can sew the skin top while avoiding sewing the hair along, but what I did is pulling the hair out using the seam ripper then covered the thread.
10. As for the wefts, try to secure each weft with a corresponding weft just as demonstrated:
youtube
11. It will eventually look something like this:
12. Here are the final results after cutting and styling!
I hope you found this helpful. You can purchase the wig directly from my Etsy store:

Human Hair Extensions Create Beautiful Longer Hair Styles Instantly
As you glimpse across virtually every print medium such as newspapers, magazines as well as catalogs, there seems to be something in common as far as hair cut designs is concerned. The long hair style style is everywhere. Precisely what are you supposed to do if you don't have longer hair and you really want the long hair cut style? Nicely, let's see, human tresses grows about ½" for each month, so if your hair was at ear level, that would be almost two years to wait for that 'hair cascading down your back' look. And of course by the time a person grow your hair out, the actual short hair cut style will probably be in. "Don't limit you to ultimately just adding length to the hair. Hair extensions offer a straightforward solution to fine hair and can also add a little pizzazz for you to thick, curly or curly hair in any color or even style. " Rod Sickler Owner Images by Rod & Company Rantoul, The state of illinois In today's society, two-year is waiting are OUT and fast results are IN. The beauty sector recognized the demand for immediate long natural looking frizzy hair and thus today's hottest development was born--Human Hair Extensions. H?r forl?ngelse are not only for lengthening hair, according to Rod Sickler, proprietor of Images by Fishing rod & Company and Attractive Hair Concepts Artistic Part of the team. "Any hair type can support frizzy hair extensions", says Sickler. Sickler makes hair extensions easy through creating cutting-edge hair styles for his clients. Some examples consist of sleek and straight hair, vivacious ringlets and impressive color enhancements with the use of various highlighted and lowlighted hair extensions. He describes the hair expansion process as very painstaking and challenging as it requires many hours and various methods to complete. The rewards a wide range of as he is able to re-invent frizzy hair, tweak techniques and accomplish his clients' needs. One among Sicklers' hair extension clients, Holly Leach of Rantoul, The state of illinois, says she wanted to obtain hair extensions because she ended up being ready for a change and wished Sickler to re-invent the woman look by adding thickness and length to her thinning hair together with European Hair Extensions. She has been absolutely amazed at the results. "I came into the salon (Images by Rod & Company) looking one way, and turned out looking totally different", states, Leach. Leach has had the woman hair extensions for about 5 a few months now, with absolutely no difficulties and no complaints. She preserves the hair extensions with non-soy based conditioning shampoo and also moisturizers from Sexy Locks Concepts, and uses dryers and curling irons with no complications. Leach concludes, "Hair Extension cables are worth the time and money, when you can get fabulous-looking long hair instantly". "Hair extensions are a huge self esteem booster because they give women the opportunity to get the long hair style look without the wait" Guinevere Werr Manager, The Spa East Bank Club, Chicago, il, Ill Some women are involved or have heard that h?r forl?ngelse can cause damage to their natural hair, or even loss of frizzy hair. Guinevere Werr, Manager from the Spa at the East Bank Club in Chicago, Not well, says the fusion application process Sickler uses from Thus. Cap., an Italian business, does not create any harm to the natural hair mainly because it is applied ¼" through the scalp and not directly on the particular scalp. Werr assisted Sickler with applying brown h?rforl?ngelse with some highlight extensions on her sisters' hair. She provides that Sicklers hair extension buyers have lost almost no hair extensions and have had very little maintenance concerns. So where do you start in case you are thinking of getting hair extensions? Weave Extensions must exploration the different types of hair utilized for hair extensions, the different types of add-on methods, the hair stylists' training and training, any upkeep schedules and of course the cost. There is a large number of different types of hair that are utilized for hair extensions. There is human locks and synthetic hair. Synthetic hair is used to add benefit fashion colors, such as pinks and blues. Generally speaking, to set up for the natural, it became out of my head, look you should go with human locks. Human hair comes in a number of textures and grades. The human hair must be strong and also healthy to produce extensions that may last and wear with no tangling or drying. European human hair is well- known as quality human hair used for extensions. There are three basic techniques to attach your hair. They are fusion or strand by strand, weaving along with bonding. There are many variations to those techniques and they are sometimes identified as by different names. Fusion/strand by strand: This process is conducted strand by strand inside small sections using heated up adhesive sticks or stuff specifically made for hair extensions. Off shoot hair is added instantly to your own hair. Sickler uses the actual fusion method from the German company So. Cap. Frizzy hair is attached about ¼ "from your scalp and looks totally natural. Sickler reviews, "No one can visually note that you have hair extensions. It's your choice if you want everyone to know". Weaving is a process when a corn row or trail is created around the head and also close to the scalp. Extension curly hair is sewn on the paths. Your own hair lies over the paths for a natural look. Relationship is a process where connecting glue is applied on top of the weft of the expansion hair and then applied at the root of your hair. A weft is horizontal hair strands attached together at the top of vertically flowing hair strands. Wefts can be machine-made or homemade. There are some disadvantages to each of these methods. Sometimes if the hair extensions application method is not completed properly, the hair extensions only will fall out, or cause damage to your own natural hair. Also, together with additional pressure to your crown from the weight of the hefty extensions, there could be some thinning hair of your natural hair or headaches as you adapt to the new weight. There have been some studies of allergies to the substances that are used. You should discuss the disadvantages of hair extensions thoroughly with your hair hair dresser so that there are no amazed. The hair extension training along with education your hair stylist has received is very important to the success in their work. Sickler received their hair extension training from renowned expert, Joseph Accola, as well as keeps up-do-date on methods by attending beauty indicates across Europe where metoden are more popular than in the U. S. "Hair extension education and training usually are paramount to successful metoden for any hair stylist", states that Sickler. If you are looking for a hair hair dresser to do hair extensions and they don't the proper training, you could be really disappointed with the results. Once you have your hair extensions in place, you simply must schedule regular maintenance goes to to check your extensions. How often you need to go back will depend on the sort of hair and the method of attachment that was used. As your curly hair grows out, some of the hair extensions will need to be removed and replaced or touched up. On a day-to-day basis you must treat your human h?rforl?ngelse as you would long curly hair. Brush, shampoo, condition along with moisturize on a regular basis. Some curly hair stylists will recommend particular high-quality hair care products to apply with your extensions. You can also employ hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons of all types of human hair extensions. Coloring treatments can be done on the h?rforl?ngelse, but you should consult with your tresses stylist before considering that. Monthly color touch-ups towards your roots will not be a problem, as being the hair extensions will not be touched. Eventhough it doesn't hurt physically to obtain hair extensions, it may hurt you financially. There really is no way around this factor. To get good hair extensions on your whole head, you'll have quality human hair, a professional hair stylist, at least one tool and about 6-8 hours of energy. The ticket price can vary from $150-$2000 depending on what you are having done. Adding a couple of highlights or lowlight hair extensions can be quite less as the some amount of hair needed is less. In short, here are ten tricks to follow after you have decided you intend to get hair extensions and have determined a beauty salon. To find beauty salons that do hair extensions, you can try looking in the yellow pages or google. The beauty salon directory at http://www.hairresources.com will allow you to search for 'hair extensions in your City, State. one After selecting a salon, routine an initial consultation to discuss what is important to like to have done and almost any concerns that you have. 2 . Wig Styling: Working with Foam pt 2 - Wrapping round objects
It's time for the much-awaited foam tutorial!! If you haven't read part 1, be sure to do so first either here on Tumblr or here on Patreon! A big takeaway from the earlier part is that there is really no one right way to construct around foamcore. The easiest method will depend on the shape of your foam, how it lies, and what glues you enjoy using.
However for general rounded or "bulky" foamcore shapes like buns, sausage rolls like Purah's hair, this is the method I use. For "pointy" objects like cylinders or spikes, stay tuned for part 3.
Required Materials:
Foamcore (or understructure material of choice)
Serrated knife
Craft felt (optional)
Base wig
Spare wefts
Hot Glue
Additional glue of Choice (ie Tacky Glue or Got2B)
1) Cut your understructure piece to shape. If using styrofoam, this will involve carving excess foam away with a serrated knife or similar tool. Remember to scoop out a slight curve on the bottom of your foam piece so that it will fit more snugly against the curve of your head.
2) This step is optional, but I like to then cover my foam with a piece of matching-color felt. I find that it helps the first layer of hair "grip" to the foam, especially if you are using a glue that does not instantly dry, like got2b or tacky glue. Snip darts and cuts into your felt so that you can wrap it around your foam without causing very large wrinkles. A few wrinkles and bumps are fine, but try to avoid any huge dips or grooves if you can, otherwise you will have a harder time covering them. Glue the felt down with hot glue.
Most buns appear to sit on top of the character's head, completely disconnected from the base wig. This means that we can wrap the hair before attaching our foam to the base wig's netting. And as an added bonus we can hide all of the weft edges underneath the bottom where the foamcore touches the wig net. Hiding the raw weft edges means a cleaner-looking wig.
3) To start, pump a line of hot glue between .5 to 1 inch long along the underside of the foam. If you are less confident or new to wigwork, smaller is better! It is a lot easier to handle a small amount of fiber at a time, even though the process will be slower. Gather two wefts that measure the length of your glue line. Press the fabric end of the wefts into the glue and allow to cool.
4) Spread your glue of choice upward from where the weft is attached, continuing for about two inches. Remember - going slow and making sure your hair is securely attached before moving on is key. Tacky glue is a great permanent option and Got2B works as well. Lay your fiber over the glue and hold in place.
5) Spritz the top of your hair line with got2b and blow dry, in order to help lock the top hairs' position in place.
"CBC, my wig is looking real gross right now. I didn't use enough hair - you can see the felt through the wig fibers!"
This is fine! Unless you are willing to work one fiber at a time for the cleanest construction, wigs can look very messy before they're finished! We'll be going back over your work with a nice, clean layer of hair in a later step - we'd have a much harder time working neatly if we were trying to lay twice as much hair at once.
6) Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the next two inches of hair. Continue wrapping the hair slowly along your ball until you reach the underside of the foam.
7) Lay a line of hot glue along the underside of the foam and press the hair into it. Add additional hot glue over that hair and firmly moosh all hair into the glue with the gluegun nozzel. It is very important here that the hot glue touches every fiber, as an unmovable hold on either side of the weft is what will keep the hair most securely locked in place. Allow to dry and snip away any excess hair.
8) Begin with step 3 again, and lay your next line of glue alongside your first. Continue through step seven 7 for this new weft. Repeat until all visible foam is covered.
9) It's time to add your final layer of hair! It's important to lay this as cleanly as possible, as it will be the most visible piece. Gather 1-2 wefts depending on how many visible gaps you have. Repeat all of the above steps, laying this new layer of hair on top of your existing work.
Note: To finish the sides of a sausage-type bun, try covering up the skinny ends of the foam by curling the hair into a spiral shape. Alternatively, first lay down the hair on these ends like so:
And then cover the raw edges with the rest of your hair.
9) For the most secure hold, we need to glue our foam directly to the wig's netting. It is not a great idea to glue to the base hair itself - as that hair moves around, so will your foam! To prep your base, de-weft any necessary hair that is blocking your netting.
10) Place your base wig on a wighead and add a protective sheet of felt under the netting to protect the head from stray glue.
11) Add a generous glob of hot glue to the underside of your foam and firmly press into the wig netting. Hold until completely dry. Test how secure your foam feels. If it feels loose or you missed a spot, add more glue!
12) For even more security or if you cannot add a large amount of glue, take a curved needle and run a few stitches between the wig's netting and the outer edges of your foam. This is a great option for extremely large foam shapes.

How Much Do Hair Extensions Cost?
Getting extensions in a hair salon is truly a customized experience. Determining cost especially for permanent hair extensions in Las Vegas that are installed by an experienced hair salon professional can be tricky. However, in this article we will lay out pricing for some common popular options for Tape-In (Most Popular), Beaded Weft (Second Most Popular) and I-Tips (Most Popular Individuals Method) install pricing and hair cost. Keep in mind any custom coloring you need to do to your hair or the extensions will be an additional cost.
There are four main factors that determine the cost of your hair extensions. They are: - How long is your hair now? The shorter your hair is the more hair that needs to be added to blend in all the layers. - How thick is your own hair? If your hair is thicker more hair is needed to match the density - How long do you want your hair to be? The longer the higher the cost. - What quality of hair extensions do you want? The higher the quality the higher the cost. We recommend a free consultation to find out what option is best for your lifestyle and budget.
What is included in the cost of the install?
Your install includes cut/blending, wash, blow dry and styling your newly installed hair. Picture perfect when your all done!

How To Make A Wig With Bundles And Lace Closure?
Have you encountered these kinds of problem when purchasing an already made wig? The wig is too small or big, the wig is thin and not true to length, bad hair quality and terrible structure, single style act.
More and more people choose to make a wig with bundles and lace closure, let's take a look at the benefits of making a wig:
1) Size fits well.
Before initiate to make a wig, girls must already measure the head size, then they could get a wig perfect fit the head, it is a better choice for those who have a too big or small head.
2) Thickness and length controllable.
When making a wig, if someone prefer the fuller wig, they could add more bundles on the wig, if someone prefer the longer length, they could add longer bundles on the wig, in a word, girls could adjust thickness or length as their preference while doing it.
3) Hair grade is optional.
The regular 9A grade hair sold on Alipearl Hair website is very good, but if some girls have high requirements for hair quality and budget is sufficient, now can try the mink hair or double-drawn hair. Making your own wig allows you to flexibly choose the hair used, good quality hair can be used for a long time, and looks like a work of art!
4) Style optional.
Not like in the store, you can only choose a wig from a few styles. If you make your own wig, almost any style you want can achieve. You can get your favorite style and meet your needs on different occasions, also it ensures that the final result can make you most confident, and the most likely to represent your style.
Essential Wig Making Tools:
1) Lace closure and bundles.
2) A mannequin head.
3) A wig cap (adjustable is better)
4) Needles and thread.
5) T-pins to hold the cap in place (you can use tape or adhesive too)
6) Scissors for cutting and trimming as you string along.
7) Comb and hair conditioner.
The Steps of Making a Wig:
1) Measuring your Head
You should measure your circumference, front to nape and ear to ear over top, I put a pic below for your reference.
Forming the Wig Foundation
Find a wig cap that fits your head and matches with your Measurement data, and place it on the wig block.
3) Start Sewing
Firstly, stitch the frontal or closure by hand, then you could secure it with the machine, when it comes to the tracks, you can sew them into the wig cap, starting at the back, adding the tracks from left to right, you can fold over or cut the weft securing it with the machine to prevent shedding.
4) Comb and wash the wig
Comb the wig to see if it satisfies your requests, trim your hair to make the whole wig more natural, Then wash and condition the whole wig, and put it at the vent to let it air dry.
Bundles and Closure Recommends:
1) Most Popular hair: Deep wave bundles and lace closure
2) Top seller: Body wave bundles and lace frontal

Elsa wig tutorial part 1
Warning ya now it's gonna be a long post.
Supplies:
Base wig is Suzi Classic - Arda wigs, color titanium
Long wefts - Arda, color ash blonde
Got2b glued hair spray - walmart
Beyond the zone freezing setting spray - Sally beauty supply
Styling comb
Curler comb (? Proper name? Idk)
Shit ton of patience
Bobbypins and hair ties
Detangler spray
Head stand
First off I started by trimming off the excess mesh and shaping the front hair line. I think one thing that really helps with lace fronts is taking your own hairline consideration. If some thing is drastically different it might look bad with your face shape.
Unless your cosplay make up skills are waaaay better than mine which is most everyone I meet. The contour skills elude me -.-
I sectioned out the hair into layers starting 1/3 from the front. I layered 2 to 3 wefts over one another and then sewed that into the base wig. The very bottom of the wig base though I ended up sewing 5 to 6 in because I had so much. When all was said and done I still had 2 pieces left over.
Don't leave hair wefts out when cats are around. Just dont.
Brush it all out once everything is in place. Keeping it sectioned off really helps the tangles. If you're unsure how to braid a wig this would be the best time for practicing. It can take several attempts. I was comfortable after 8, if you need a braiding tutorial I would recommend YouTube.
At the end of my third de-tangling session (since I don't own a flat iron) I borrowed a heat comb (wtf are these called?) And gently passed it through the sectioned pieces to iron out kinks that had started to form.
There is going to be a very long tail on this one. I tried it on after estimating where I wanted it to end to make sure that it would be at the right length for me. It was actually waaaay too long the first time and I had to undo some and move the tie up.
Before snipping the ends I "pancaked" the braid and fluffed it up some. This is pretty important because if you cut something off before teasing it out you can end up pulling sections out of the hair tie. The subtle ash in the braid starts to show when braiding and looks more realistic in my opinion. Hair is never one solid color, I like wigs that have mixed fibers even when looking at anime wigs.
To make the tail more puff shaped don't lop it off in one cut! I layered it after giving it a base v-shape. Uhh I'm kinda bad at layering so hit up Pinterest or the 'Tube again. I barely taught it to myself.
I think you used too much hair spray. Shut up!
I think you used too much hair spray. Shut up!
I think you used too much hair spray. Shut up!
Stupid boy. You can never use too much hair spray.
Don't forget to spray both sides! The side that sits against you will get extremely matted and tangled so nip that problem in the bud by taking care of the backside of the braid.
Next part deals with spiking the front.

Rey Morado Cosplay WIG COMMISSIONS!
[New pricing goes into effect 2/19/2018]
Feel free to reblog/signal boost!
Hey all, I’m open for wig commissions~! To organize the types of work I do and their prices, I’ve organized commissions into three tiers. Here we go:
Tier One: Simple cut and style. May include minimal spiking and weft work. (Example: Kageyama, Armin, Kiryuu)
Tier Two: Medium styling. May include heavy spiking, small armature(s), ponytail/updo clips, lacefront ventilation, moderate weft work, dying or coloring. (Example: Johan Anderson, III, Lucien)
Tier Three: Heavy Styling. Includes drafting multiple armatures and/or using multiple colors, extensive lacefront ventilation, splicing wigs together, or extensive dye work. (Example: Yami Yugi, Kaito, Jack Atlas)
I’m happy to answer general questions, and you can message me on Tumblr (either @arminizewithme or @reymorado), Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
When you’re ready to order a commission, please email me at [email protected]!
Please don’t consider your commission accepted until I confirm it via email. I ship wigs within the continental United States using USPS 2-day shippnig. Please reach out to me at least 6 weeks before you need your wig.
Payment:
The total price of each wig is Cost of materials + Labor Cost + Shipping. I require a down payment before I begin:
Materials cost + $20 for Tier One
Materials cost + $35 for Tier Two & Three
I require full payment before I ship a wig. If you want, I’m happy to discuss a payment plan, where you send me partial payments over a course of time. However, I do need payment in full before the wig is shipped, no exceptions.
I have more specific policies/FAQ below the cut, click Keep reading if you’re interested in a commission!
What Tier is my Wig?
The Tier system and corresponding examples are there to give you an idea of my pricing and skills, but I’m happy to appraise a wig for you if you’re not 100% sure.
When I accept a commission, it is to my own discretion what tier it falls into. Sometimes a Tier One becomes a Tier Two, simply because the methods involved may be more complicated upon closer inspection. When in doubt, shoot me a message and I’ll let you know what I’m available to do! What is an armature and why do you charge extra for it? Why do I need one? Armatures are a rigid structure that I attach wig fibers to in order to give it fantastic shapes that I couldn’t achieve with product alone. A variety of materials can work for this, but I usually use stiff felt covered in fabric. My Yami Yugi wig is entirely armatures: cones made of felt and then covered in wig fibers; the bangs are also felt armatures. Because I draft all of my armatures from scratch, it can be a tricky process. And on top of that, I hand-lay the fiber to cover it completely, which can be a time-consuming process. Because of these factors, wigs with more armatures will be more expensive. But I guarantee that it will be a mind-blowing shape that matches your character perfectly!
Why is Tier Three an hourly price instead of a flat rate?
While Tier One and Two fit into a pretty standard framework, Tier Three wigs take a lot of planning and drafting to even get started. And once that’s figured out, it takes a lot of meticulous detail work to look nice. So for that reason, I charge hourly on these. I total the number of hours I spend on these wigs and charge $10 per hour. Since I anticipate working on Tier Three wigs for 7 hours or more, I require a down payment of half of that ($35) plus the cost of materials before I begin.
Where are you getting the base wigs from? Can you use this one instead?
Generally, I order base wigs from Arda Wigs. I know how to work with them, the color selection is fantastic, they’re great for styling, and I can guarantee good results. If I take on a Tier Two or Three project with a random eBay wig that I’ve never worked with before, I can’t guarantee that the spikes will be too pretty.
We can discuss this in-depth if you’re interested in picking your own wig, but as a default, I will buy base wigs from Arda. If you have a specific color or style in mind, please let me know!
Thanks for reading all the policies, whew! I hope they’ve been informative. Have a great day, and please keep me in mind if you need something styled!
