As we sit on the cusp of the 6th generation of Monster Hunter, that means it is finally time for the 5th gen to come to a close.

5th gen was easily the most important and influential generation of Monster Hunter, without it Monster Hunter likely would have still been relegated to a niche game franchise and wouldn't be one of the biggest juggernauts in gaming franchises it is today. Most of us probably wouldn't be here as a community without it.
