Do you think Luffy saw Law getting stuck in his head over his Impending Doom on the way to Dressrosa, saw that Law wasn't sleeping and was getting twitchier by the day, and decided he was gonna take matters into his own hands and clung to the man until Law ended up falling asleep against him?

YES ABSOLUTELY. That exact thought was one of my early lawlu musings and lead to what was like my 5th comic I did of them and for awhile the longest. It’s this one that in the database is called ‘bad dream?’ I keep thinking I want to go back and draw/write in that pre-dressrosa era lawlu but what I’ve already written in that timeline is dear to my heart even if I know I can do better now, at the very least art wise. But anyway loof aggressively cuddling a panic stricken law is one of my most favorite things 😭😭

According to the Senju, the legendary Ōtsutsuki Asura had five sons and two daughters, from which the clans Senju and Uzumaki would eventually be formed, and later on the names of these children would be used to divide the Senju clan into six bloodlines.

By the time Danma and Kaname are born it's been about five hundred years since the Senju started being known by that name, but it had been nearly nine hundred years since the birth of Asura's oldest son.

In that time, the true lineages have become jumbled during periods where keeping track of the members was particularly difficult due to the chaos of the warring era, loss of records, the passage of time and the unreliability of human memory have in truth made it impossible to accurately say which bloodline you truly belong to, if any at all.

Some even doubted that their relation to the sage of six paths is anything more than myth to bolster their name. After all, what shinobi clan wouldn't want to claim descent from gods, from the mythical father of shinobi and ninshu, and from legendary warriors? The Senju does it, the Uchiha does it, the Hyuga does it and many more. But there is no sure way to prove this. However, they do know that their clan is very, very old, and regardless of its origins there is much power in their blood. Blood that needs to be carefully preserved, while also avoiding the complications that would come with inbreeding.

These are the children of Asura according to the Senju, and the hierarchy of the bloodlines associated with their names directly correlates to their supposed birth order.

- Eido (1st son of Asura) - Eshin (2nd son of Asura) - Rui (3rd son of Asura) - Kiyomi (1st daughter of Asura) - Doryu (4th son of Asura) - Malila (2nd daughter of Asura) ((No bloodline - died without having any children)) - Iu (5th son of Asura)

In Kaname's time, the name of the bloodline you belong to doesn't actually mean all that much in an official sense.

Although the importance of which of Asura's children they supposedly descended from can be notable by some and might earn you one or two respect-points, the oldest son Eido being the most prestigious, it is ultimately not something that will trump personal merit or your relation to current important figures such as the clan head (their immediate family are treated respectfully by association).

If you end up being a lousy shinobi it doesn't really matter how high up the hierarchy of bloodlines you are, and exceptionally strong shinobi (including Asura's reincarnations) can pop up in any bloodline.

The succession of leadership is primarily based on primogeniture, so title is passed through the oldest child of the current clan head, regardless of bloodline. However, if the clan overall finds their leader to be too weak or inept, or acts in a way that no longer serves the clans best interest, they can be removed and replaced, either by a more capable child, sibling or someone else selected. The clan head also has the authority to determine if his current successor is unsuitable for the job, and can put forward suggestions for an alternative.

On occasion this has caused pretty nasty conflicts within the clan.

Both have happened, so the position as head of the clan has jumped between different lineages many times and is far from exclusive to Eido’s bloodline.

So the Senju does not have a fixed 'main-branch' the same way that that say the Hyuga does.

Hashirama belonged to the bloodline of Eshin, the second son of Asura. But he, his father Butsuma, his grandmother Ema and great-grandmother Tamami combined held the rank of clan head for almost a century, as the strongest or otherwise well-suited for the job at the time, and successively passed it onto their oldest living child.

Had any of them died without having any children, or if they were deemed unfit for the job, someone else would have been elected and they could have come from any bloodline. (although being rejected as a leader was incredibly shameful, so the clan head's successor would still feel a great deal of pressure.) 

The main purpose of these bloodlines or lineages, is really not to create ranks or place one bloodline over another, but rather to prevent members from marrying too closely.

Like the Uchiha, Senju rarely marries out of the clan - so you usually marry someone of another appropriate bloodline within the clan, or you marry someone from outside of the clan that you bring into it. Having no-name outsiders marry into the clan was fairly common, and they did not have to be shinobi - it was actually often preferable that they weren't. If anything they could be valued for the non-shinobi related skills they brought with them and that could help the clan run smoothly day-to-day. If you did wish to marry within the clan, as a rule choosing anybody that is closer to you than at least five generations removed (i.e. your closest shared ancestor is your great- great- grandparents) will be considered unsuitable and is discouraged, if not straight-up forbidden.

By dividing the clan into these six bloodlines it becomes a little bit easier to keep track of who is related to who and how closely, when everyone otherwise has the same last name. Through their father, Kaname and Danma belong to Asura's second son Eshin's bloodline.  The Uzumaki clan are primarily considered descendants of Asura's third son Rui's bloodline, who branched off around the time that the Senju clan was formed.

The number of family units and individuals in each bloodline varies and can shift over time, although effort is taken to try and keep them as even as possible.

As a rule, during the era of warring states, you married pretty young, in your late teens or early twenties. By your late teens you're generally expected to have at least set your sights on a potential partner, then be married and have at least one child by the age of twenty-five, but preferably more. When a couple were wed the bride's children will be a part of the father's bloodline, but she will always be noted with the bloodline she was born into to.

Example of an exception is Senju Ema and her first husband, Shimura Yunsuke. He married into the Senju clan with no former connections to any Senju bloodlines, so his children by Ema (Chesa, Jaya and Butsuma) had both the Senju surname, and belonged to the bloodline Ema was born into. Her second husband, Senju Hisashi, was Senju and from Doryu's bloodline. Their children were of course Senju, and Hisashi was willing to forgo tradition and so they were also noted as members of Ema's bloodline. Ema herself came from Eshin's bloodline, and even though she had six sisters, her mother had never actually married so her daughters stayed in her bloodline. Maintaining and being aware of these bloodlines was important, as to ensure the survival and health of the clan. The kekkei genkai that Asura's descendants once posessed had been lost long before the Senju clan was even established nine hundred years after the birth of Ōtsutsuki Eido, reduced to little more than legend before it manifested once again in Senju Hashirama. But there was nonetheless enough power left in them to still rival the Uchiha. It was paramount that it remained that way.

This bittersweet oneshot captures the time of transition: change is coming. Both Lily and Severus are growing out of their childhood and the cracks in their friendship are growing deeper. They move out of their childhood park, not knowing what's to come.

I won another Alpha Strike tournament! This has me at 3 for 3! It was IlClan era (a first) at 150 PV with a weird twist: it had Aerospace units allowed AND the first one was half price!

Summaries of each match

The First Match

This was against a Kodiak, Supernova, and Viper in a capture the flag match. My plan was to stay out of LOS as much as possible and lure the two assault mechs away from their flag, then dive said flag with the Piranha before skeddadling away back to my deployment zone. I REALLY did not like my chances in actually trying to kill the two assaults. I put the Piranha up the centre, the Adder on the left, and the Incubus on the right keeping either LOS breaking hills or 3+ hexes worth of woods between them and the enemy.

Unfortunately I did not win a initiative even once the entire match and that was a huge problem for my very squishy list. The Sabutai alleviated that a bit since Aerospace move after all mechs have gone so I still had some say in the final move. When I did finally manage to draw the two assaults away and dive the flag, I knew the Viper would be able to jump behind the Piranha at short range but I hoped the TMM 4 would protect it (the TMM did not protect it).

After the Piranha died I pretty much figured that I had lost the match because I wouldn't be able to grab the flag now and didn't think I would be able to kill the assault mechs. What ended up happening was it became a brawl. I baited the assault mechs further away with the Adder while the Sabutai and Incubus killed the Viper. Then the Incubus started working on the assaults from behind with the Sabutai helping while the Adder slowly died (slowly due to some bad dice rolls from my opponent). In the end it came down to my Incubus and the Supernova at short range with everything else dead. The dice favoured me for my boldness and my Incubus remained standing on the very last turn.

The Second Match

This was a scenario with 5 points that had to be held to score at the end of the round: 2 on each side's half of the board and the 5th in the very middle. Since the objectives got scored every turn it meant that I NEEDED to hold the objectives on my side of the board. So the first turn my Incubus and Adder sat on my objectives while the Piranha dived onto the centre one that my opponent couldn't reach with his Locust. I knew I couldn't hold any single point with the Piranha, so after he moved up his Wolverine to take it, I then dove his back left objective where his Locust had moved to hold it and the Warhammer that previously held it had moved up. This gave a nice little space where neither could shoot at the Piranha, which wiped out the Locust AND scored on my opponent's objective while he got the centre. The whole time the Sabutai was whittling away at the Warhammer and Phoenix Hawk, while the Incubus and Adder worked on the Wolverine.

After Scoring that point the Warhammer turned around to reclaim its point, so the Piranha ran away to finish off the Phoenix Hawk and the Sabutai went back to the Warhammer. The rest of the board was far less dynamic as the Wolverine, Adder, and Incubus all shifted one hex to get their TMM while remaining on the objective and trying to get partial cover and woods protection.

With the Phoenix Hawk dead the Piranha moved to score on my foe's back right objective while also getting a rear shot on the Wolverine which was still trading shots with the Adder and Incubus. The Sabutai managed to kill the Warhammer as it took a last shot at the jet that had been harassing it all match. The final turn saw all four of my units ganging up on the Wolverine and clearing the board.

The Final Match

This was a stand up fight against a Nova, Executioner, and Warhammer (odd to see a normal Warhammer with two Clan mechs). In a turn of fate opposite to the first match I won initiative every single round in this game which was EXTREMELY useful for my speedy little guys.

Like in the last match the Sabutai whittled away at the Warhammer while the Piranha got behind the enemy line for back shots at short range, the Adder plinked away at long range, and the Incubus traded fire at medium range. I methodically worked through the foe with my forces; first the Warhammer fell, then the Nova (trading itself for the Incubus), until it was just the Executioner. My opponent knew that there was no way he could get his hands on the Piranha since I kept winning initiative, but we played out the match until the assault mech fell.

SUCCESSES

Winning Initiative. This is just luck but I was the one who took advantage of the opportunity it presented by diving my Incubus and Piranha when I had the opportunity.

Taking advantage of the half price Aerospace. Only one other player brought Aerospace which meant that I effectively had an extra 31 PV over all of my opponents. The Sabutai did a great job dealing out damage even with just staying on dealing Strikes the whole time. That 7 damage at Medium is no joke, and hitting TMM1 targets was pretty devastating. Aerospace is also very versatile. While I only did one Strafe, I could have used it more if there were better opportunities or brought bombs if I was more worried about high TMM low health units.

Increasing Skill to 3. This was the first tournament where all my units had Skill 3 and it felt great. It was a slight bonus but it made even Long range attacks feel viable since it meant hitting TMM1 units in the open on 8s.

MISPLAYS

Relying on TMM4 at short range. I didn't really have much option when I dove the flag with the Piranha because I had to leave it in the open to grab the objective and the Viper with 16"j movement would be able to get just about anywhere. I thought the high TMM and my foe's jump penalty would protect it, but it was hitting on 10s and was rolling like 7 damage. It only needed 3 of those to hit, and it got them.

Not diving the Incubus with the Piranha. This one is a little trickier. The very low PV of the match means that I was never going to have a lot of units but taking Clan mechs and an Aerospace unit meant I was going to be few in number AND low health. In the second match I had to leave the Incubus on its objective and that ended up working out ok, but in the other two matches it should have backed up the Piranha as one of the two died because it didn't. It would have been great to have pairs like in previous tournaments but the PV limit just didn't allow it.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM PREVIOUS TOURNAMENTS

Making use of bait. I learned this accidentally with the Hatchetman in my first tournament. The Adder only had TMM2 so was a more enticing target than the TMM3 Incubus and TMM4 Piranha, so I used it to draw fire and movement away from the other two, both of which did more damage. It also helped that the Adder had the same damage regardless of range so I didn't mind keeping it at Long and in the open to make it seem like a better target than the Incubus at Medium in woods. Its 4 armor and 2 structure helped it weather this tactic.

SURPRISES

Aerospace is more fragile than VTOLs. I was surprised at how fragile the Sabutai ended up being. I pretty much kept it at medium altitude so most attacks against it and by it were at medium range, so it was almost always getting hit on 8s. Not such a big deal against enemies that had 4 or less damage at medium, but I was trying to go for the low TMM targets with it and those often had 5+ damage (the Kodiak with 7 was very scary). VTOLs feel like they should be about as tough, but they often have TMM4 AND a bonus for being VTOLs, while Aerospace are all just TMM2.

This tournament didn't feel as satisfying to win. I think all of my opponents were quite new to Alpha Strike so that certainly contributed but the small PV size and boards also meant that the games were less dynamic. I DID win an IWM Lightning which is neat! Looks like it could be pretty scary for Classic Battletech!

PoliZ's WIP Update - 3 July 2024

Another satisfying  writing week - made my unofficial goal plus a good chunk, and got a bit ahead of the game on a couple of July events.  I touched six fics (3 new & 2 WIPs) - for a total of 2506 words.   I’m sitting at 55,802 words so far for the year, which puts me nicely on target for 110k.

I’m juggling  20  active/semi-active WIPs with my current  deadline being the  Steve Rogers Bingo which ends on July 15th and the July Break Bingo, which runs for the month of July.  

See  below cut for what I’m working on/planning to work on - arranged more or less by bingos/challenges/etc.  As always, feel free to send me   prompts or plot bunnies as well as asks regarding  any of these projects  or any other WIPs I’ve got out there.   Interaction really helps feed the Muse and keep me motivated!

    

Steve Rogers Bingo - Round 3 [SRB_R3] (ends  15 Jul 2024)

Twenty-four  fills, nine bingos and one WIPs at the moment  - gonna try to  squeeze in one or two  more fills!

* C5 - Exes to Lovers -   Working on a fic that will also fill the  BaBB May prompt: Wrong Number.   It’s sitting at 225 words - we’ll see if I can get it done in time.  

* D4 - Steve and the Stealth Suit -  combined this square with the @fluffystevefest  JULY 3: ERAS - Soldier & Icon prompt for a combo drabble & moodboard.   I posted (Not a) Perfect Soldier to Tumblr this morning and will add to Ao3 by the end of the week.

July Break Bingo [JBB_24] (runs 1-31 Jul) 

@julybreakbingo is a fantastic any-fandom bingo event designed to spark creativity during the month of July!  After filling out a detailed request form, you get a customized bingo card where you can combine prompts and squish them any way you please!   The main restriction is to post fills within the month of July - so I brainstormed and came up with some good potentials - combining with Hot Bucky Summer prompts and my Bucky Barnes Bingo card - check those two sections below for details!   If all goes well,  I’ll have at least 17 squares filled and (with the help of the Alt prompts) a bingo or two!

More fun from the @buckybarnesevents folks - this time weekly challenges to create (usually NSFW) Bucky-centric fanworks!   Thanks to the July Break Bingo (see above)  and Bucky Barrnes Bingo - I now have ideas/mini-outlines for each week of July.

Dollar Bin #3:

Fairport Convention's Angel Delight

This album has never looked promising. John, Paul and George didn't break up and then let Ringo call himself The Beatles; Lou, Cale, Sterling and Mo didn't want what's his name to make a record and claim it was by the Velvet Undergound. And Dave Swarbrick had about as much of a right to lead Fairport Convention in 1970 as Lepidus had to lead the Roman Empire in 48 BCE. Right?

Well, let's dive back into the dollar bin and find out.

A year earlier, when Sandy Denny left Fairport to form Fotheringay with her loser boyfriend and Ashley Hutchinson beat his own retreat to assemble the first and greatest incarnation of Steeleye Span, there was still plenty to love about Fairport Convention. Richard Thompson, the band's gawky genius, was writing increasingly uncanny and harrowing songs. Now Be Thankful and Farewell, Farewell are so good that it seems like the band's pimply medieval apprentice had snuck off with the spell books and everyone's maidenhead. He was even learning, reluctantly, to sing.

What's more, the band's producer, Joe Boyd, was still firmly in the mix. Boyd had already played a role in many of the greatest records from the whole wonderful era, from The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter to Five Leaves Left. Thompson and Boyd made the band still vital.

What's even more, Fairport had already shown it could weather change. Two lead singers had already come and gone prior to Denny decamping. And, just before she left, they turned a fatal car crash into Liege and Leif, the founding, and greatest, record in the history of Folk Rock.

But in 1971, after a solid and occasionally brilliant 5th record and a (retrospectively anyway) historic tour of the US that saw Fairport blowing away Linda Ronstadt before inviting her on stage to play whatever she wanted with them, Thompson followed his muse right out of the convention's Full House and left Swarb in charge. Boyd was no fool; he hightailed it out of there as well. Dave Swarbrick, a homely but masterful fiddle player hooked on "diet pills" (as in Speed), was now the front man of one of the greatest rock bands in history. Uh-oh.

The cover for the next record, Angel Delight, is fitting: there they are, (see above), the lads left behind by everyone important, grinning savant-like midst the remains of a burnt out house. The joke is apt but discouraging: see here, the cover declares, the losers left behind in the wreckage.

And just take a look at these hobbits !

Seriously, doesn't this look like a Multiverse alternative of Aragorn (that's Thompson, in the middle) with Tolkien's plucky halflings? Moving right to left we've got the drummer, Dave Mattacks, standing in for Merry: Mattacks is the awkward, moody one in the fellowship with a forever kink in his neck, too shy to take off his looking glasses or his granddad's coat. Next up it's Dave Pegg, oddly tall for a hobbit, whose grandfather, legend has it, once rode a horse.

Beside Aragorn/Thompson we've got Swarb himself. Forever enveloped pipe smoke, he's a merry trickster whose sideburns run all the way down his four foot frame to his giant, hairy feet.

Finally, there's Simon Nicol at furthest left. After Thompson leaves he's the only guy not named Dave in the band, and they all lived together! Just imagine the conversation at dinner.

Nicol, looking up from his kippers on toast: "Dave?"

All three Daves, eagerly: "Yes Simon?"

Nicol: "Never feckin' mind."

Though Nicol was the only founding member left at this point, he was just 20, a young Took still not old enough for pipe weed. Clearly he's the only guy in the band with a chance of one day getting himself an elf wife.

Without Thompson, Denny, Boyd, Hutchings or even Ian Matthews, there's none of Frodo's constipational anxiety, let alone Gandalf's enormous eyebrows, left to be found in this band. If there's a ring of power to protect they've already lost it.

But drop the needle on side 1 and Angel Delight sounds instantly promising. Swarb's has clearly learned to sing and we bounce along merrily to the opening track, Lord Marlborough. Perhaps these hobbits know the way to Mordor after all!

Don't get too excited. Track 2, Sir William Gower, finds them playing like Fatty Bolger. The song surely records the exploits of yet another British miscreant, war hero or goofball but it's hard to care when the noodling melody sounds like the band is sitting in an 80's middle school circle at midnight, crank calling confused old ladies who happen to answer the seven digit meandering melodies the boys are making up on their parents' push-button phone. Swarb calls out the numbers while the other boys cackle and chase: 7! 8! 3! 4568! "Hello!" Swarb hollers into the phone. "Sorry to call so late mam.  May I speak with a Sir William Gower please?  What's that now? Wrong number? Well, what about a Mr. Head?  First name Dick?"

The boys may fall over laughing but the song is a plodding bummer. So let's skip ahead to some greatness. Wizard of the Worldly Game isn't a dollar store tabletop Harry Potter knock off for 2-4 players that currently ranks last on Board Game Geek. It's a downright magestic song. Youtube contains zero tracks from this entire album (perhaps Muggles are forbidden to hear Angels Delight unless they brave the dollar bin) so I can't play it for you here. But it's lovely, with Swarb's tenor rising from tender to belting as the boys emerge from their respective holes on Bagshot Row to encircle him in stately harmony. Nicol is no Thompson on the electric guitar, but he knows it, and his solos here are patient and wonderful.

Journeyman's Grace, one of several songs co-written by Thompson before his departure, wraps up side 1 and it's a barnburner, with lyrics that are as oddly captivating and ineffable as anything Thompson would go on to write in his prestigious career:

Leave my weary flesh and bone to a circle made of stone Take me to the mountains for my pleasure. And if the dead man won't depart, drive a stake into his heart And let me ere deliver him his leisure.

The band hands the song's lead vocals back and forth like a hot tater, and listen to Swarb on the final chorus, hitting a high note and holding on like a puffed up Disney rooster.

Let's wrap up this visit to the dollar bin with a concert performance of the song from this era. Watch Swarb shuffle! Turns out the guy's yet another Fairport genius, and the band is in good hands after all.

London, England in the ’90s

London in the 90s was a fun-filled, Godforsaken place for the displaced.

The highlights of life in London could be summed up in a few yearly social events and popular landmarks. Namely: The London Notting Hill Carnival, New Year’s Eve in Trafalgar Square, Guy Fawkes Night on November 5th, and one of the best gathering spots in Camden Town, the noteworthy ‘Compendium Books’ store. Founded by Diana Gravill, (a direct descendant of Captain John Gravill of the Diana Whaler, and my late mother-in-law), and Nicholas Rochford, Compendium Books was a bookshop frequented by everyone and anyone, from celebrities to hippies. In an era without the internet and the technology that accompanies it, Compendium thrived.

The London Notting Hill Carnival, a location featured in the Hollywood blockbuster movie ‘Notting Hill’, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant, is a yearly phenomenon worth mentioning. Attended by hundreds of thousands of people from different walks of life Notting Hill Carnival was “the place to be seen”. During the 90s the Notting Hill Carnival was nothing short of a peasant’s colourful, music-fuelled promenade in the heart of London. The Notting Hill Carnival is not however an event to be enjoyed alone. On the contrary, it is highly recommended that the Notting Hill Carnival not unlike Glastonbury be enjoyed with friends or siblings.

Notting Hill Carnival is perhaps one of the only functions where you can expect to find a police officer dancing along to the music with the crowds. The Notting Hill Carnival movement coincided with the advent of Loaded Magazine, a racy publication that epitomized the vibrant London lifestyle of the 90s.

Many of us would join the Notting Hill Carnival proceedings with the sole aim of being spotted by talent scouts. I am bound to admit to having appeared in the 1996 and 1997 issues of Loaded magazine at the height of its notoriety. The Notting Hill Carnival is a place of merriment and restrained debauchery, if only for a day.

‘Tremendous’ is the word that comes to mind when wanting to describe Guy Fawkes’s Night in London. The British in general see Guy Fawkes Night as a night for subversive anarchy, where mock vandalism may be enacted without fear of repercussion. That said, the true meaning of remembering and celebrating the execution of a would-be liberalist continues to elude me.

New Year’s Eve in London’s Trafalgar Square was almost discontinued sometime during the 90s, due to an apparent increase in fatal injuries. From my recollection of the celebratory happenings, one went to Trafalgar square on the night of New Year’s Eve at one’s own risk. The crowds would mercilessly cram against one another almost to the point of suffocation. Frequented mainly by young Italian emigrants, nondescript foreigners, hippies, drug addicts, and those homeless who happen to get caught up in the revelries against their will, New Year’s Eve in Trafalgar Square is an experience most intelligent people rarely feel the need to repeat.

Reminiscing about life in London in the 1990s is all very well, but such musings inevitably confront us with a question. When and why did it all change? Some might argue that the year 2000 was the turning point. With the advent of the internet becoming accessible to the masses, coupled with gadgets such as pagers, video games, cellular phones and later smartphones, people felt less inclined to risk life and limb in search of entertainment in crowded places brimming with strangers.

In the current post-pandemic era one thing is undeniable, 90s London was an unforgettable time bound to be erased from our memories with the death of what is now the elder generation.

DOLLY new muse model: A real DOLLY - A Mannequin resembling DOLLY's original muse model and my daughter Isabella.

For my collection campaigns I used to have our daughter Isabella as the recognizable muse model with the blonde hair, however, she, of course, grew into a teenager. I had to find something else for my campaigns.

The brand name DOLLY

The name DOLLY comes from Doll and I named my brand DOLLY, because Isabella was born as our 5th child after 4 beautiful boys. The first time I dressed her in a dress, I held her up high and said: ' You look just like a Dolly'!  

Doll clothing shows bold and big silhouettes, due to the scale, which is just that cute look I want for little girls so DOLLY, my fashion brand arose!

For the lifestyle pictures for our DOLLY World, UNIVERSE and next years DINER Collections I have chosen to be more arty, stylistic creative and especially and deliberately use one mannequin dolly because it fits DOLLY brand even more and its very modern in the digital and Ai styled era we are in at the moment. Not to forget the Barbie impression after the movie. It invites girls to become DOLLY to wear DOLLY clothes even more especially because it’s not a real girl. Our DOLLY mannequin is the new mascotte from now on to have more brand recognition. You can easily see that it’s the DOLLY brand so becomes very familiar for customers and potential customers. For the first years of starting my brand I used my daughter Isabella as the only muse model for DOLLY brand to have 1 familiar face for the DOLLY brand, but she has grown into a teenager now, so I made a mannequin looking just like her.

With different hair colors we show different types matching the colors of clothes creating the art pictures. The mannequin and dresses you see are real, so you see the actual products from the collection. Just like Barbie, who is one face liked by the whole world basically, our DOLLY mannequin is the one familiar and recognizable face for the DOLLY brand.  The mannequin is the only actual DOLLY and girls can relate and dress just like DOLLY.

She found friendships within Slytherin and its pureblood families that followed her to her ranks within the Dark Lord’s deatheaters.

She was finally given the power to save the black line by removing Sirius and then eventually Nymphadora.

I've seen the announcement of the Aqours final live today - and I just wanted to express how incredibly grateful I am to the girls for what has been an absolutely incredible 9 years. 9 Years is a long time to be an idol, and I can't believe I've managed to be here since the very beginning. I remember travelling to Japan for the first time at the end of Muse's era, seeing the hype in SEGA for the new group, and the wall of hand-written messages wishing them the best. …And, ironically, I remember scoffing and being one of the disbelievers who said they wouldn't live up to Muse's legacy. (I'd been a late fan of Muse through the anime for only 1 and a half years, haha.) I didn't realise then what an absolutely massive impact they would have on my life, getting me interested in learning about the voices and talents behind the anime girls on my screen and sucking me into the rabbit hole that was Japanese Idol culture. I even attended the 5th live in Japan before COVID struck, which was the first live music concert I had ever attended, and the memories of that day are still burned into my brain as one of the best days of my life.

I've anticipated every new song release and live announcement since. I've laughed with Aikyan, I've cried with Ainya, I've hollered over Rikako. So many precious moments and memories that I won't forget. I have so much more I can say, but what was supposed to be a quick post is already kind of long.

Man, it's so satisfying to see a year's worth of art together in one panel - you can really see the art journey and gradual improvement through them.

And well done to those who figured out the meaning behind the colours! ;) I used my main ships (YohaRiko, RubyMaru, ChikaYou, KanaMariDia) and swapped their image colours. This worked out to be really pretty on some, but I belatedly realised this meant 3 (!) of them ended up with the same colour as their eyes...aah, well, you live and you learn!
