Faye hissed a curse before deciding to tell the child what recent tragedy has befell her.

“I,like a fool had an agreement;of a sort with a Fae creature by the name of Ashen Eye. I would procure certain ingredients they couldn’t get themself in exchange for being left alone,” she took a raspy breath before continuing. “About a week ago I wasn’t able to get a certain amount of nightshade,they took offense,and took my Apprentice with them; Now that four armed bastard has led me on a merry chase,and set a pack of Hellhounds on me,along with a Basilisk... so needless to say I need to get going before Ayala is hurt.”

Faye woke up with a sharp cry. “Why didn’t you kill me! I deserve death more than anyone for breaking my promise!” The creature groaned in pain “I swore to protect her! But all is lost!”

She looked up from her lamenting at the red headed child before continuing. “I pissed off the wrong person,and they took her!” She got up and tried to walk falling over.

Chise just seemed confused. Missing any and all context, all she could do was to try and catch the stranger before she would fall and hurt herself. Trying to stabilize her was tricky, but with her gained strength it was actually surprisingly easy to hold on to Faye. Yet still, she carefully pushed the other back into a laying position, so she wouldn’t fall again.

“I have no clue what is going on and if you won’t explain, I won’t be able to help you. At all. And at the moment, you are dying fast enough on your own, without me contributing to that. If you said you’d protect someone then you probably will want to be alive to do that. To my experience, living people make for much better protectors then dead ones.”
