Soooo… I made this… just an idea I had. I’m not sure fully if I’m going to make it a full thing so we’re gonna see what happens!

This is the prelude to a comic idea I had. It’s the first comic I’ve ever really drawn so be nice about the style, I’m not sure how this may change.

Things you need to know, this page takes place about 3 years after the movie. Raph is 20, Leo and Donnie are 19, and Mikey is 18. Splinter passed away of natural causes while eating rainbow sherbet (as he said he wanted his last thing he ever did to be just that in the show). Donnie is the first to leave the lair, followed by Leo, and finally Raph, who slips away in the night. Mikey stays at the lair for about a month after all of his brothers go their own ways before he chooses to move on, leaving the lair behind. Casey Jr. Lives with Cassandra and April has her own apartment by her college.

Oh my tonight has been a wild ride😂 I vced with a friend for a bit who was playing some questionable music🤨 I speed ran the last page and I got the most ominous threat ever😂. My kind of monday might/Tuesday morning.

I don’t really have much to add rn about those chapters besides I’m a sucker for PB&J duo comfort. Whenever I’m personally mad I always end up crying and from what we can observe in the show, Mikey is pretty similar. He misses his bros.

Y’all, when I tell you I cranked these out in 2 days! Holy frick! I am speed aparently!

So I wanted to time myself and figure out how long I spend on the digital part of each page and… I managed to watch 2 movies (the rise movie and Uncharted) in the time it took me to make the first page of this. So ya, I didn’t do literally anything else today but this.

I hope y’all enjoy my attempts at drawing Draxum, not my best but eh, it’ll do, y’all are here for the story, not my artistic ability. Though once again, really proud of how a few of these turned out and yes! I’m finally getting the hang of drawing Leo!!! Woo!!

We’re not gonna talk about how long these pages took me to make. I’ve been trying to do weekly updates so sorry that this one is a bit later then last week. Keeping up with 4 characters instead of three is proving to be a challenge. Honestly, I highly suggest drawing a comic if you want to. It’s awesome! OH AND HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!!!

Anyway, out of the 4 of them, I’ve drawn Mikey the most and yet he’s still the one that looks the most inconsistent when I’d raw him and it annoys me😂, but oh well. Mikey as a bar tender gives me so much dopamine man!

We’re coming up on the end of chapter 1! I don’t actually have a fully fledged out plan for chapter 2 yet but we’ll figure it out when we get there. Can’t wait!

Also, Raph has now joined the “stealing Leo’s drink” club. OH! Speaking of which, a Daiquiri is a drink made by mixing rum, lime juice, and sugar water/simple syrup together. Pirates who dislike the straight taste of rum would sweeten it by adding in sugar so hence why I chose it as Leo’s drink of choice. So ya! Fun facts! Have a good day!
