A year ago, I would go to the beach wearing a big long sleeved shirt to cover up (pictute on the left) with the excuse that I am shielding myself from the strong sun rays. Internally, my reasons were I felt insecure about my body after putting on the pounds that I can't seem to lose from the change in life, aging, stress, menopause..... and who knows what. I had to do something as I did not like myself very much and it reflected in my mood swings, negativity, bitchiness and I did take it out on my poor hubby. Fast forward to the present, with physical transformation of losing the weight I gain, keeping it off, get fit and toned (picture on the right), I also gained self confidence, liking myself and a mindset shift to become happier, more outgoing, less bitchy, positive outlook in general.... . Every year we have a family beach vacation. And I can't wait for it 😊. No dreading anything! . Summer weather is approaching fast. Less than 90 days before shorts, swimsuits weather in most the US. Dining out with hubby at one of our favorite Italian restaurant Buon Appetito, Cape Coral. Little tiny place owned by Denise & Gabe from NY. Soooo good. . . Eating out with hubby, in my weekly travels all over the US and social events with friends, how do I not put on the pounds? . I DID put on pounds before my mindful eating, fit healthy lifestyle. Before this lifestyle change, I tried the diet plans, cut out food groups, did high intense workouts to no avail😤😭😖🤬😡 . Low impact 30 mins cardio = #sweat ! . . It is sooooo cold ❄❄☃️🌬🌨 here in IL for this Florida girl. I was frozen getting from airport to hotel that I did a workout in my hotel room just to warm up!!!
