He's here!

It's Sommie!
Most of it is a modified Sylveon pattern from @53stitches. The ears, bandana, and tail were mostly guesswork.

so i was requested by @enbyartist to drop the pattern for my jarlaxle plush, and i’m more than happy to deliver. this is gonna be a very long post, so pattern will be under the cut
materials used:
- 3.25mm crochet hook
- yarn needle, to stitch everything together

- poly-fil stuffing
pattern guide:
mr: magic ring
ch: chain
sc: single crochet (uk double crochet)

i’d also like to preface this by saying:
1. a lot of this was me tweaking preexisting patterns that i found online. the rest was me just winging it

Donations are open and all prizes are now visible, including the above-linked crocheted pokemon you may have seen me posting about earlier this year. I have additional good news about them: They're not a silent auction! This means if you'd like to get my lovingly-made creations you don't have to drop $1200+ to do it. Instead it'll be a raffle-style giveaway where sometime during the specified shift (3am-9am eastern on November 12th, a little rough for us North/South America folks) they'll announce the giveaway, pick a number greater than $5 but typically less than $12, and for the next hour anyone who donates a multiple of the chosen number gets that many entries into the drawing for the prize, so long as you've signed up for a donor account. Oh, and check out all the other giveaways and auctions, because there is so much cool stuff. Seriously I wish I had anything resembling a warchest this year because there are at least 5 prizes I'd love to get my hands on. Maybe if I'm nice in chat I can ask the other crochet folks who participated where they found the patterns they used. (My Kanto Starter Trio were made with the patterns from 53stitches, if you're curious. They have some other free pokemon patterns as well if you also forge constructs from yarn.)

grant emerson weekend, day 3: Safe

[ID: Picture 1 is of a crochet doll of Grant Emerson (Damage) from DC lying down against a red background. He is wearing his blue JSA costume with the hood on, and orange boots. Picture 2 has the Grant Emerson doll held standing up. He is about the size of the hand in the picture. END ID]
my submission for grant emerson weekend :> i'm going to say it's for "safe" because i made him with the idea of sending him to a good home.
here he is contemplating a garden:

[ID: The Grant Emerson doll is held in a 3/4ths view in front of a window. In picture 1, he is in focus and the garden outside the window is out of focus. In picture 2, he is out of focus and the garden is in focus. END ID]
costume reference pics, process talk, and links to the patterns i referenced under the cut!
i didn't really have a plan when i went into this... i referenced these two crochet patterns: Batman from @vesnianka.toys and Spiderman by 53stitches. i made them smaller and placed the colors based on what my heart told me. i tried to write down my pattern as i went but i lost it around when i attached the arms.
the original idea was to crochet the orange parts of his costume, but i could not figure out how to crochet a triangle properly, so i went with felt. unfortunately, that means the color of the boots and the costume don't match.
itemization of Grant Emerson Doll
body: crocheted with blue, tan, and orange yarn. stuffed with cotton!
orange costume detail: orange felt and red sharpie, hot-glued on
eyes: aida cloth, hot-glued on
reference pics: i mostly went with the JSA costume (picture 1), but i had to add his titans-era orange boots (picture 2)

I started to learn crocheting with the pokémon amigurumi patterns from @53stitches
I second using ravelry
hiya again trainers, lisia here (for the second time today) and i'm using this account's reach for evil because it's admittedly convenient lol!
so i'm looking to get into plushie / amigurumi crocheting and am mainly interested in pokémon patterns, does anyone here have any creators or resources they'd like to share? sharing through comments or asks is both fine.
in the end i wanna show pics of the things i make here... i found a pretty easy-seeming lotad design and have two books on amigurumi making, but i think i'll need all the help i can get LOL. thanks in advance!! (≧∇≦)b -lisia
