The Shipbuilder "PT PAL Indonesia" just laid down the Keel of the second of the two new Landing Docks (LD) for the Philippine Navy (PN) recently to officially start its Construction. The said Ceremony was accompanied by an Official Survey by the PN's Technical Inspection and Acceptance Committee (TIAC).

On a Side Note, I just realized that the two previous Tarlac-class LDs continue to be armed only with .50 cal. Heavy Machine Guns (HMG) up now, I think the PN should at least prioritize Self-Defense Countermeasures and Armaments for it.

I suggest they use the same ones used on the Jose Rizal class Guided Missile Frigates, the C-Guard Decoy Launchers and Simbad-RC Surface to Air Missile (SAM) Systems for Commonality …

Fun fact, .50cal is so accurate and effective at long range. The scopes you see on M2's aren't uncommon, Carlos Hathcock, aka White Feather, scored a long distance kill with this too. The .50caliber is also what you get to shoot in guns like the M82 barret or M107 both of which are snipers. =)

I like a dark painting, but I don’t use black paint directly on the canvas. I’ll use Mars Black, which has a bit more tint, to mix colors to give them a darker hue, but in the actual painting, there’s just a really dark version of whatever color the shadows are. This one for example, the background is all deep purple. The only bits that look black are a mistranslation between the camera lens and Instagram. I do really dig this photo though with the purple to pink glow. And again, photos don’t give this painting justice. I decided to remake my hastily modeled Umbrella Magnum that I made a couple of years ago. With access to Substance Painter a lot more detail could be added more easily. Modeled with Foundry Modo 902 and textured with Substance Painter.

P.S The magazine is still stupid, since it’s modeled after the original proportions in the game, and thus has no space for accommondating a spring capable of supporting 8 rounds.
