He enjoyed her touch. He was ready to do anything for this amazing brave woman. One day they will be free from this war and will be able to live together without fear of decommissioning and Kaminoans.

He pressed his forehead against hers.

Fives preferred to remain optimistic rather than let his dark thoughts take over. He's already lost so many brothers, including Hevy, Cutup, and Droidbate, to let Echo die. Even if the chances are low, Fives will seize on this minimal chance and do everything in his power. He was too stubborn to give up. He didn't want to think about losing his twin. This thought was too painful and scary.

"Well, optimism is all that's left for us. Otherwise, we can only let the tin cans do what they were made for."

They went through many missions together. Since they became part of the Torrent, Fives has worked hard to become an ARC troopers. For both of them to become ARC troopers. And now that they've done it, it would be foolish to let Echo die like this. They'll manage. Rex and Kix will find them and help Echo. And they will laugh at this situation later.

Element put an arm around Fives shoulder, walking him down the alley like they where two buddies walking back home from a night of drinking. “First things first; we gotta get you off the streets. You are both walking proof, and a walking target. I’d prefer the former and I think you would too. Now, its a little late to make house calls, but I think I know someone that can help sort though the facts we are facing…”

It didn't make any sense. The Grim he was talking about was Kenobi’s padawan? How did she know about everything, and if she knew, why didn't she tell earlier? Why should he even trust a man he sees for the first time in his life? He could only trust his brothers.

"Wait, I don't know you. Why should I trust you? The Grim you're talking about is Commander Grim? How does she know all this? The only people I can trust are my brothers and the Jedi. I need to get to the Jedi Temple. "

The war was finally over and the Sith were defeated. Even Echo was alive and saved from the clutches of the separatists! He was on Kamino now, undergoing treatment to overcome the effects of captivity. But most importantly, he was alive, and this made Fives incredibly happy.

He was proud that he was the one who contributed to Chancellor Palpatine getting what he deserved. If not for his investigation, then everything could have ended in tragedy! Now everything was great. What's more, the senate and the new chancellor finally gave the clones civil rights! This made the clones citizens of the Republic and they could do whatever they wanted. Therefore, Fives first bought a ring for Aelith and persuaded everyone to help him propose to her.

He was incredibly happy when she agreed. They became the second news of the day, it's good they weren't knocked off their feet.
