I miss Yuzu's 4Lz, actually
It'll probably never see the light of day again, but I miss it so much

I’m losing my mind. Adam bronze up from 19TH IN THE SP?? WITH A BACKFLIP? Gutted for shoma but he was smiling at least! I was rooting for Yuma but it was such a shame about that fall on the 3A ))):
Ilia’s skating doesn’t do much in terms of PCS, but fuck if he didn’t deserve that win. jesus christ
I can’t believe so many men flopped and none of them enough to get Sasha into the top 10 for two estonia spots 😭 he was so close

If there’s one thing about boyang is that he has put the EFFORT the WORK into improving his skating even at the cost of his technical consistency

why on earth do people on social media have to be so vile? i try not to look at it, i try not to care but sometimes it's just so aggravating. just let the boy live!
(this is about the negative comments on shoma's 4ltz attempt btw. so frustrating. had to vent somewhere and you already spoke on it.)
Yeah I did here ⬇️...you can talk to me about it any time when haters are getting on your nerve 😉
Tumblr media
You know one thing makes it always better. No matter what vile comments Shoma ever received online he always stayed true to himself. And for each hate wave there is a wave of support for him twice as strong.
Despite haters continuous ill wishes, Shoma is striving and him practicing 4Lz just shows that he knows there are areas he can improve on.
Also Shoma practically invited ppl to talk about it. He could have not posted his progress but he is continously trolling with 4Lz practice since 2021. Ppl who like him know that. And him posting it shows that he doesn't give a damn about what ppl say.
His whole Instagram feels like a fun account. There is not one serious post in it.
This Instagram acc is for us fans (and Marin probably 😅), so screw the haters.
Haters will be haters 🤷‍♀️
Just remember Shoma is the best figure skater in the world atm and there is nothing mean comments can do to change this 😁

Ilia Malinin's 4A (BV: 12.50 + GOE: 3.04 = 15.54) | GPF 2023, SP
ilia's performance tonight resulted in the first ever quad axel executed in a short program. including his 4Lz+3T and 3A, ilia's technical content is the most difficult ever attempted in short program history!

Japanese dub of ep 6 says Eros is the most technically difficult routine of Yuuri's career, which tracks for obvious reasons (not least of which is, it includes the first quad salchow he ever lands in competition)
and based on the jumps, original jump layout Eros is a tidge more technically difficult than Agape, on account of both have a 3A, a 4T, a 4S, and a 3T in combo with one of the quads, but Agape has some of those in the first half
but English dub of ep 6 says Eros is the most technically difficult short program in history
which. you seriously trying to tell me Victor's SP in the Sochi GPF season didn't have two quads, one of which was the flip? or are you trying to tell me Eros and Agape both beat that program on the technical difficulty of the other components? see also, why I think the season Victor landed the first 4F was the first of his five-season win-all-the-things streak
.
(Eros in ep 11 being the most technically difficult short program in history, that I am willing to believe, since it's got the 4F and 4S as well as the 3A and 3T, so any program that could beat it would need two quads, and the only people we see jumping any quad other than the 4T in combination are the Yuris doing 4S+3T; unless Emil's SP combo has a quad we weren't told about, the only skaters this season doing two quads in their SP are JJ, Chris, both Yuris, and presumably post-ep-12 Victor; JJ's second-half 4Lz gives his SP jump layout a slight advantage over ep 11 Yuuri, but we never hear that JJ is doing difficult jump entrances or known for his step sequences or spins)
...
of course English and Japanese dubs regularly disagree on whether someone just jumped a loop or a toe loop (which is particularly notable in ep 12 where it's a plot point, also when rewatching Georgi's SP after hearing that only Sara Crispino has attempted the 3Lz+3Lo), sooo
