Gonna go buy a new bullet journal notebook today !! Why are these the things that make me so damn motivated; new notebook, new me quite honestly. Hoping they’ll have that one dark green one in stock (they say they do in the website but u never know)
#my last one ended so satisfyingly like I have 1 page left in it and it’s a new year now#can’t remember when I last time got to start a new year with a brand new notebook (I don’t just buy new ones for every year bc I’m dumb and#buy either moleskine or leuchtturm and sure it’s once a year purchase but it’d feel bad to not fully use one)#but this also means a 4km walk in the -28 degrees and I’m not looking for that#(i dont like the cold but it’s worth it)#january 2024#2024

more hiking fun, this time we went off trail and explored 🌍
#dogblr#sheltie#shetland sheepdog#nova#this was great bc we got to work a lot on his confidence#he was so unsure of himself at first#we walked and climbed lots of rocks on the coast and used sketchy trails to get to a vista point#it required nova to Think on where he needed to go#i had to help him a lot and THANK GOD for that ruffwear harness with the handle#by the time we got to the point we wanted#nova NAPPED#he was pooped even though we had done only like barely 4km#coming back he was much more confident though#i only had to get him twice#but otherwise he was much more débrouillard#like…used his brain to figure things out by himself#so yay great outing#nova also met a belgian tervuren#(i want a belgian tervuren pls and thank u)

I haven't walked eleven whole kilometers since.... Since the medieval fantasy festival last year, I think, and that was before I hit rock bottom health wise.
I WALKED ELEVEN WHOLE KILOMETERS WITH MY ACTUAL FEET AND I DIDN'T FALL OVER OR GET STUCK ANYWHERE OR EVEN NEED A PAINKILLER BEFORE I GOT HOME
My joint pain may be inevitable but I'm rebuilding my muscle strength and stamina, baybeeeeeeeee
#I am so godsdamned sleep deprived it's making me weird#Also I'm going to take an anti inflammatory because it feels like the bones in my ankles are on fire#My arse muscles may try to attack me in my sleep but I don't care because#E L E V E N K I L O M E T R E S I N O N E D A Y#My range was 4km with the stick in March and that was pushing it. In January I couldn't sit up unsupported.

I SAW. I've been following this story non stop bc I just cannot wrap my mind around the whole concept. Idk which part is my favourite, but 2011-Logitech-controller-controlled-deathchaimber-going-4km-underwater is definitely up there.
I wonder at which point money makes you so delulu that you see absolutely no problem at any point of this whole saga: the controller, the outside bolted door, the lack of escape route, the lack of black-box-adjecent device, just the look of the tube of death itself, no qualified tripulation..... What's the quantity that makes you feel like you're invincible and MC syndrome kicks in?
