#4halo is... complicated

I don't know what the fucks happening with imposter eggs and shit but here's what i understand about Q!BBH in 4halo, with simple words:

He wants something he doesn't realize he already has ( OR he does realize it and reciprocates back but doesn't want to commit to it because he wants this thing really bad even though he doesn't need it. cough* skeppy )

It kinda always makes me sad when people talk about arospec characters on the qsmp and only talk about q!Jaiden and q!mike without mentioning q!bbh :( like honestly q!bbh’s relationship with q!forever and how ambiguous it is is 100% an aromantic experience I’ve had.

People assuming my relationship with my partner is romantic when it’s not - at least not in the way they imagine - or assuming it will eventually turn romantic as if what we have isn’t good enough and I hate seeing the same thing happen to q!bbh

Idk I’m just sad and tired of q!bbh’s arospec identity being erased or forgotten or valued less than q!jaiden and q!mike because he has such a popular ship and complicated relationship with another character even tho cannon 4halo is incredibly aromantic/queer platonic in of itself :/

(Also q!forever is arospec/lithoromantic as well so in general their ship is incredibly aromantic/queer platonic from like every angle

I've always thought that one of the biggest problems 4halo has is that they think they know each other very well but they actually dont. They only know the carefully currated version they show the world.

Not only Forever but everyone on the island has seen Bad as the nice, caring, wholesome person who is always there to help if needed and occasionally steals furnature. Forever doesnt know he's a demon. He doesnt know his dark sides, the lenght he is willing to go to for the people he loves no matter who gets hurt in the process, how much he is hurting himself for it. He only saw a glimps of that after the eggs disappeared and then in purgatory. Thats why he was so shocked and worried and tried to fix him when he saw Bad acting out. Because that was not his Badboyhalo. Not the person he believed he knew so well. He didnt know that there was nothing to fix just his true self finally showing through.

But it also means that he doesnt understand the way Bad shows affection and how much he cares about Forever. All his political discussions only happened because he cares so much about him. And panks are literally the way you can tell how important you are to Bad. The whole gifts vs presents conversation Bad had with Tina if anyone remembers made that so so clear. And thats also why he expects Forever to ask him out for dinner after the pool thing! Thats (for once) not him being sarcastic but he genuinely doesnt understand that humans dont view pranks as basically a love confession!

And thats where Bad not understanding Forever starts. He doesnt get why Forever gets angry when he gets pranked or when they are having a shouting discussion. Forever has never shown how much he struggles with self worth and feeling like he doesnt matter, cant do anything right and feels basically useless. Bad doesnt know how much he struggles with all the pressure from being the president and wanting to make things better for everyone but it never seems to fix anything. Bad doesnt understand how feeling like he's in control means so much to Forever and how him losing control made him almost apprechiate the happy pills.

And all of that cause THEY DONT FUCKING COMMUNICATE!

They are a complicated mess and I love them <3

speakin of writing i really need to finish the next chapter of solitary snow lmaooo, im about halfway finished but the recent 4halo stuff has really thrown me off my rhythm. like listen, im arospec, i only know how to write romance-ish stuff in a soft fluffy way. idk, its something i have to expand on in my writing, like i neeed to learn how to write more complicated relationships. its also just, the nature of the fic, as a hurt/comfort bad focused fic, it demanded soft and fluffy and reliable. agh, i just have to push through and ignore it, ill tag it ooc if i need to :| so, gods willing, new chapter out SOON O__O

(and then onto 4maxhalo cowboy AU :3 where ill hopefully be able to write them with a bit more grittiness and toxicity)

Do you have any toxic!4halo between bbh and @v@ HCs or plots of how it would go?

Plots not really for now, I probably need to see them actually meeting to make something but I do have some headcanons!

Under a cut in case someone is not feeling up to seeing 4halo in their dash!

- i have posted about it before but, I think that @v@ would be very aware of whatever kind of feelings Forever has for Bad and it would use it against him

- especially because it would see Bad a threat, be it because of him being dangerous, be it cause he is a nether being like @v@, Bad is a threat at the end of the day, which is why their first meeting would very much end up with it trying to kill Bad

- if @v@ looked more like Forever, like had his brown eyes and blonde hair, I think that it would be a lot more likely for Bad to forget that it's not Forever, not the normal Forever. Which would be an advantage to @v@

- maybe @v@ would get an weird obsession with Bad, not romantic or sexual, just the need to keep killing that demon that smells like the deepest parts of the nether

- i don't think @v@ truly understands what feelings are, let alone such complicated ones like Forever and Bad have for each other, so although it would know that Forever feels a certain attraction to Bad, it wouldn't understand why his host has such a weakness
