Day 38 of #45goodvibes. + New growth. I cut a stem & a couple leaves off my fiddle leaf tree b/c I saw a Pinterest post where you can propagate them. I'm proud to say my baby is pushing out roots (little white stuff on the tip)!!! + Pinterest for all its help teaching me to garden. + Ideas. We couldn't really do much with our backyard before because it belonged to our large dog (RIP Koda). So now we've been talking a lot about how to make it better. I've been plotting out ideas to build a little urban farm and raising chicks to lay eggs... I'm just waiting for the hubs to agree to it 🤞🏼. Since the kids learn all about gardening at school, they can bring the knowledge here and grow their own veggies and eat them 😍. Day 36 of #45goodvibes. + My wildflowers. They're messy, they argue and they complain. And then they do something so heartwarming it replaces the negative 🤗 + Accidental play dates. We ran a few errands after school today and bumped into one of eves school friends who's family was doing the same. Day 35 of #45goodvibes. + Made my first batch of boobie bites/granola bars. They turned out pretty good no will help boost my milk production and act as an after school snack for the girls. + Wildflowers. My front yard always looks a little run down (usually cuz there are kids toys and paper crafts everywhere). So I went to the dollars store and picked up their box of wildflower seeds and laid them in my front garden. I hope it turns out beautiful and not just a huge mess 😬. Now I'm literally raising wildflowers 😂. + Paid our property taxes. Our assessed value went up a ridiculous amount from last year to this year (yay). But with that also come the property tax to reflect it (boo). Vancouver real estate sucks... but I'm glad we bought when we did. __________ What are your 3 daily positives? Day 34 of #45goodvibes. + The Terra Nova School Garden program, which teaches kids agriculture and gets them excited about eating their veggies + Teaching my self how to garden (with the help of Pinterest & YouTube) and watching my plant babies grow + Craigslist. Day 31 of #45goodvibes. + I have so many photos to post since @lynnecat_ to the reigns as family photographer. I love all the options 😂 + FaceTime. I don't know how families who live on opposite sides of the world ever survived before. I love how my parents can still see the girls on a regular. + Taking time for myself to recharge. Day 29 of #45goodvibes. + @dixondragons. It's honestly every parents hope to have their kids go to a great school, with amazing staff & make a great set of friends. I remember when we made our move and applied to this school, Elia was so upset with the huge change. But her teacher was so amazing with her transition and over the years she's built such amazing friendships with what I think is the whole grade 5 French girls group. And now with Eve wrapping up her kindergarten year and what's seems like a fun bunch for her to grow up with as well, I'm thankful this was the school we chose. + Positive thinking. With all the changes here that have happened the last couple of months, I've noticed the girls have been a little emotional every now and then. So to help them through it I've started getting them to do this. I tell them to think of 3 things that make them really happy and to say it out loud or write it down. Sure enough, the method works and their moods shift + Donuts. I have a strong love for donuts, especially mini donuts. And it's national donuts day 🎉 __________ What are your 3 daily positives?
