AITA for not wanting to go to my dads card tournament with him?

My (14f) dad (43m) has been big on playing Star Wars Unlimited (think magic the gathering) since February (it is currently late April) and I am very much the person that he goes to when he wants help organizing the cards, trying out a new deck, or just talking about his last tournament.

I’ve been playing a couple casual games with him every weekend and I enjoy it but it’s mostly just for him to practice that I do it. I am pretty good (I’m beating him 3-1 this weekend) I feel, and my dad wants to take me to a tournament happening in the next city over this weekend.

My dad has been going to tournaments all over the region since early March. After the first one, he asked me if I wanted to join and I said we’ll see. After each tournament I asked him if there were any people my age/women there, and there’s only been 2 instances in like the 12 tournaments he played where 1 of those conditions were met.

My worry is feeling very uncomfortable as the only girl and teenager in this store where they hold the tournament. When I told him this, he said that it was going to be fine and that he’s gonna be nearby anyway.

I still don’t feel comfortable so I told him that I wasn’t going, but he stormed off and is giving me the cold shoulder. So, AITA for not wanting to go to his tournament?
