Types of Tobacco
There are many different types of pipe tobacco, each with its own characteristics, flavours, and aromas. Some of the most common types are:
Virginia: A light and sweet tobacco that is cured with hot air. It is often used as a base for many blends, and it can range from lemon yellow to dark brown in colour.
Burley: A low-sugar and high-nicotine tobacco that is air-cured. It is also a popular base for blends, especially aromatics, as it absorbs flavourings well. It produces thick and cool smoke, and it can add body and spice to a blend.
Kentucky: A dark and strong tobacco that is fire-cured. It has a smoky and earthy flavour, and it is usually used in small amounts to enhance a blend. It is also known as Dark Fired Kentucky. One good example of a mixture of these distinct flours is the Amphora Original Pipe Tobacco 40g pouch, the extraordinary craftsmanship exhibited by Mac Baren in 2006.
Orientals: A group of small-leaf tobaccos that are sun-cured. They have a distinctive spicy and floral aroma, and they are often used in English and Balkan blends. Some examples of oriental tobaccos are Latakia, Perique, and Turkish.
Cavendish: A type of tobacco that is not a variety, but a process. It involves steaming and flavouring tobaccos, usually Virginia, Burley, or Kentucky, to create a mild and sweet smoke. Cavendish tobaccos can be natural or aromatic, depending on the flavourings used.
These are just some of the main types of pipe tobacco, but there are many more to explore and enjoy. You can also try different blends and cuts of tobacco to find your ideal smoking experience.

With the advent of the age of cloud computing and big data, the network is being forced to develop at a high rate and density, and the utilization of virtualized servers is increasing. In order to provide sufficient I / O (input / output) bandwidth, many new access switches have been developed to 2 or 4-port 40G Ethernet that can connect to core switches. The rapid development of interconnected data transmission is inseparable from the 40G QSFP + optical Transceiver, because it can provide sufficient bandwidth to ensure unhindered data conversion, thereby meeting the network requirements of data centers and enterprise campuses.
Types of 40G QSFP+ Optical Transceiver
40G QSFP+ ER Fiber Optical Transceiver Transmission Distance 40km SM LC Connector
40G QSFP+ SR4 Fiber Optic Transceiver Wavelength 850nm With LC Connector
40G QSFP+ Fiber Optical Transceiver 1310nm 30km Compatible With Network Equipment
40G QSFP+ Optical Transceiver Up to 40km With Duplex LC Connector 1320nm DOM SMF
High Speed 40G QSFP+ CSR4 Optical Transceiver Low Consumption MMF 850nm 400M OM4
Supplying Optical Transceiver QSFP+ 40G Compatible With MPO Connector 850nm 150m DOM
Long Distance 40G QSFP+ Optical Transceiver for Data Center with Duplex LC Connector 1310nm
Hot Pluggable 40G QSFP+ Optic Transceiver SR4 ER4 LR4 100m 40KM 1310nm 850nm

I’m wondering if I could get some advice since you’ve had so many bettas. I’m thinking about getting some amanos for my girl’s tank since there’s a lot of algae and detritus. I’ve given her platy fry in the past to eat and if she didn’t get them before they reached a cm she stopped going after them, but she eats all of the bladder snails I put it (she knocks them over then slurps them up). At first I thought she’ll ignore them since they’ll be big (she’s not fully grown yet) but after that last I’m more hesitant.
that's interesting that she goes for the snails but not the fry, you could tryyy shrimp??? see if you can get bigger amanos? 😬 a fully grown amano shrimp generally can't be messed with, both by size and quickness/hiding ability, but the trick is growing them out.
I've had mixed success, i have 2 amanos in with long fin plinko and they've both been fine a year, but I very rarely see them and they haven't made much of a dent in the hair algae. the one female i tried then with attacked ON SIGHT, like instant crazy hunting aggression, but i managed to save them (that's why they're with plinko lol). then grumpy work boy will attack fish, attack snails, yet leaves his two amanos alone, and they're pretty bold.
I'd try it, but watch like a hawk until she definitely notices them. like guide her attention so you see her first reaction, that way you can hopefully evacuate if she decides to be on sight hunter. shrimp are tough!!! amanos are your best bet but they need time to grow and settle. good luck!

The slowest grower ever is now a whopping 8g at a year old. I don't know why she grows so slow, but she is growing!

Tis a week for self judgement, apparently. 💀
First, we caved and Jack got a very small just weaned rat from Petco bc... we're suckers and this is why we don't go in pet stores. She was the only small one and we do have space since we've lost a couple girls recently (Maven & Sauce).
Her name is Serotonin and she seems healthy other than being so young, at least. She was very jumpy at first, but calmed down after a day to relax. She's got Blueberry & Chip in the hospital cage with her for now and they've made a great cuddle puddle.
We WERE going to see about adopting a couple more girls from a CL post. But then. THEN. Bc it's us and we're the notorious Animal People to everyone who knows us. Jack's coworker offered us a bearded dragon. Got it for kid, kid stopped caring, dragon is now 6 months old, time for a new home. Same old story.
We were going to say no, since it wasn't really an emergency. UNTIL we were told he was in a 20g tank with just the stuff that came with the pet store kit when they got him. 💀 Give us the dragon please.
We're NOT KEEPING HIM. We do not have money or space for a proper permanent set up for him. FULL HOUSE. VERY FULL. Buuuuut I have an empty 40 breeder tank, and we can set him up better than he is now, and keep looking for a good home for him.
I spent last night alternating between obsessively brushing up on beardie care info & going "why the fuck are we like this".

in case you're wondering what im getting into these days, the answer is mechanical keyboards, and this was initially as a disability support mobility aid type thing because my fingers are really fucked up, but now im actually unironically getting into them and let me tell you: never do that. mechanical keyboards are a mistake. if you want a mechanical keyboard go to someone you know who is into mechanical keyboards and make them build you one or pick the ideal one for you and then never, ever do any research into it do not spend your money on this get someone else to do it for you and pay them to do it because i guarantee they'll say yes

it is so demoralizing as a fat person to try to buy a bra. especially as a young, sexy, fat person. why is everything pointy, why do they all have sky high necklines, why aren't there fun colors or prints, why is it near impossible to find my size in something that isn't a minimizer
