BREAKING NEWS: OFFICIAL SD DICK SIZES
PLEASE GO DOWN AND READ EDIT 2 - MYSTERY SOLVED (I THINK!)
(and EDIT 3 for my scientific research)
EDIT 1 Someone who knows Japanese I really beg beg beg beg beg beg you to watch that short part (link below) and verify/correct my assumptions! EDIT END
So I was watching the new N+C livestream and ARE THESE EVERYONE'S DICKS???
ARE THE NUMBERS GIRTH IN INCHES (READ EDIT 2 BELOW)??? Someone who knows Japanese go check this I BEG YOU https://youtu.be/XrRDN4hIR9w?t=4012
It sounds too ridiculous and amazing to be true, but perfectly checks out with a translation of a much older stream (https://www.reddit.com/r/BLgame/comments/1dfxmlv/official_slow_damage_stream_qa_translations/)
If my non-Jp-speaker theory is correct, then here you are, my fellow centimeter lovers: (READ EDIT 2 BELOW)
Rei: 5 in = 12.7 cm
Madarame: 4.4 in = 11.176 cm
Fujieda, Taku: 4 in = 10.16 cm (like my 2 fingers?)
Towa: 3.7 in = 9.398 cm (Towa bro im sorry bro don't feel bad bro that's still 9.398 cm more than mine)
EDIT 1: I'm looking at stats and
I expected everyone except for Towa to be above average (since it's eroge and Towa kept saying how big everyone was), so at this point I am sooooo confused. It can't be length, so if it's not girth, what is it then? EDIT 1 END
EDIT 2 EVERYONE! I THINK I GOT IT!
IT MUST BE THE DIAMETER! THIS FINALLY MAKES SENSE! THEN ALL OF THEM ARE HELLA BIG JUST LIKE TOWA HAS SAID LMAOOOOO!
Thank you so much @cringesatan for trying to translate the thing and pointing out that Japan uses centimeters!!!
EDIT 3 Because I'm mental and absolutely unhinged.
According to my incredibly advanced scientific research everyone is above average (as per eroge characters).
Now you can give me a Nobel Prize (or at least PhD).

rambling about fujin and the white snake adeptus
ok so. i was watching videos of previous lantern rite playthroughs on yt (started playing at the end of january 2023 so i couldn't even take part in last year's) and looking back now after the 4.4 livestream, i thought maybe that 2022 mingxiao lantern was a nod to fujin, so i started digging and went down the rabbit hole basically and collected some things i found interesting.
NO LEAKS, everything written about here is mentioned in in-game items or is a part of chinese culture and legends, but some of it might be considered potential spoilers regarding chenyu vale
first, i wanna preface this by saying that i am no expert in chinese culture so please do correct me if i say something incorrect.
during the 2022 lantern rite they didn't mention which fallen liyue hero the lantern was for (or i missed it) but i found a really good post on hoyolab by Flora's cake.EN, talking about chinese customs and the celebration of the lunar new year. they say that the mingxiao lantern was based on the lantern with the fish pattern of the previous year's festival, and they also note that the lantern resembles carp and goldfish, how in chinese culture they symbolize wealth, fortune, and benefits, and express "people's yearning for prosperity, auspiciousness, and good fortune". this symbolism in chinese culture is very clearly transferred to the game too since we know from the stream that there is a well-known legend in chenyu vale about a carp adeptus named fujin and that "in local legends the golden carp is a symbol of good luck". they also talk about jademouth, a famous landmark left behind by an adeptus to protect the people from flooding, and mention the abodes of the white snake and the carp adeptus.
bai suzhen aka the white snake is the central figure of a chinese legend titled "the legend of the white snake". there are several versions and i'll be fully transparent, i haven't read them yet unfortunately. according to this article by Minjie Su, who researches medieval literature (and apparently had the same uni major as me lol) bai suzhen was originally an evil snake spirit, but later the story became a romance between her and a man, Xu Xuan. in one of the later versions, though she is still morally questionable (she "poisons the well to boost her husband’s pharmacy") she is devoted to Xu and sympathetic to humankind. Xu almost dies of shock when he sees her true snake form. (1) however, she "revives him and makes him believe the snake was but an illusion. Enraged, Fahai wages war against Madam White and holds Xu as hostage, Madam White commands water to rise from the lake to drown Fahai’s temple. She would have defeated the monk, if she did not feel sympathy towards the innocent townsfolk involved in her war. In the end, she surrenders to Fahai’s power and becomes imprisoned under the Pagoda, but not before her short reunion with Xu and the birth of their son. (...) she will never bee freed unless the palm tree before the Pagoda blossoms (...)" she is eventually freed by her son, though this action is not intentional, merely a coincidence. (2)
while searching, i also found this post by baoboatree on reddit, who did some huge work and re-translated the descriptions of the echoes of an offering artifact set. three things to note before i continue: 1) this part might contain POSSIBLE SPOILERS regarding the story of the new chenyu vale region, so proceed with caution 2) my chinese is not good enough to be able to compare the translation to the original and verify the information presented here (i am NOT saying it is incorrect and i'm certainly NOT trying to criticize baoboatree, just thought i should mention this) and 3) the post is relatively old, so some information might have been updated/re-written in-game and become outdated here. for these reasons, it's best to take it all with a grain of salt.
according to baoboatree's interpretation, the story "involves two adeptus - a "medicine adeptus" and a "carp adeptus". The two are bickering lovers/friends and lived near Chenyu valley. Until one day, the carp adeptus was sacrificed in an ancient ritual and loses her human form. She can no longer walk on land, but longed to see Liyue harbor. The medicine adeptus took her on a trip to Liyue harbor by taking her along in a Serenitea pot . (...) The fish adeptus is implied in at least four of the five pieces to have sacrificed herself again, becoming the sunken jade of Chenyu Vale. In at least one but maybe two legends, the medicine adeptus is implied to have become a tea tree that only grows in Chenyu Vale." they say the medicine adeptus may or may not be madame ping, which personally, i believe it's more likely they have something to do with the white snake adeptus (or is even the white snake adeptus themselves), whose husband was a pharmacist in the legend, and who stole medicine for him in another version of that legend.
i encourage everyone to read the whole reddit post, i found it fascinating and baoboatree really worked hard on it. i don't want to go into too much detail here bc this post is already way too long. when the medicine adeptus brings the carp adeptus to liyue harbor in the teapot, baoboatree also states that, in contrast to the official english translation, the teapot was not a gift from "a friend" but "friends", plural. now, this was actually something i could check, and it is absolutely correct. they theoretize that these friends might include madame ping, the role of the medicine adeptus and carp adeptus being clear. they also note in a comment that the fish lantern during lantern rite might have been representing the fish adeptus. looking back now, i would be surprised if it wasn't. hoyo has shown to pay attention to things like this.
as for why it were two fish, one might have been referencing this medicine adeptus, or one could have simply been put there to make it look more balanced, or to emphasize the wish for good fortune, or maybe there will be more to this that we'll uncover. either way, i'm interested in seeing how the story about this carp adeptus will unfold. if they try to stay close to the legend, it might have been the white snake adeptus that caused the flood which made the carp adeptus sacrifice herself. as for whether this white snake adeptus is the same as the medicine adeptus, honestly i think it could go either way. i could argue both for them being the same character and them not being the same. as of right now, i'm more inclined to think that they are different beings. (edit bc 1) i deleted my reasoning bc looking back it was just ehh and 2) bc i realized that i forgot to add this originally: obviously all of this is just wild speculation, and it could very well be that the story that we get, assuming we learn of these events, will be entirely different. the whole turning into a tree legend from the artifact set could also really just be an in-game myth, though i don't think that very likely, but who knows. either way, nothing even remotely certain can be concluded from the information i presently have.) of course i could very well be wrong, and hoyo will probably do their own take on this legend. after all, they have taken a looot of inspiration from nordic mythology as well (i might do some posts about that too, i was a scandinavian studies major so it's always interesting for me to see how nordic mythology is implemented in games/films etc).
anyway, if anyone read this whole thing, i hope you found it interesting. sorry that it was not very concise, i haven't slept in weeks so my brain is barely working lol. i'm really excited for chenyu vale and lantern rite and can't wait to see what this update brings!
(1) the author points out the storyline also has similarities to that of the french legend of mélusine but i don't have enough brain capacity to go into this as well.
(2) the wikipedia page states that Xu actually dies, and "Bai Suzhen went to Heaven to steal the immortal herb Lingzhi. She succeeded in her mission and used the herb to revive Xu Xian. (...) Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing fought against Fahai and flooded the temple with water, hurting other living creatures.", however, i can't find this information in the relevant source.

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies" everyone!
Today, my brain felt like dragging out a SVSSS crossover with Genshin Impact that came to me during the 4.4 livestream. (Gaming's trailer was the reason this idea came back with a vengeance to me)
Also, before I begin with describing the idea itself, a bit of a warning: I might start rambling midway through because my thoughts are chaotic (and I am also experimenting with some text formating to ease my explanations for the following fics. Plz, tell me if it looks ok or not)
Edit: As of February 6th, this fic has a title:
"Gaming's Dimention Hopping Master (and his annoying Harem)"
So, let's get started:
First and foremost, I wanna send Shen Jiu (who is still a deciple; basically just before he is named Peak Lord - he should be around 18 to 20 maybe?) to Teyvat via a portal opening during the Immortal Allience Comference (or during a mission - still haven't decided fully yet) and he land straight in the middle of the Archon War in Liyue about 2000 years before the canon events in Genshin.
With me so far? Good.
Shen Jiu was with Liu Qingge and, possibly, Yue Qingyuan (if you want even more angst in this than it will have) when the portal opens. Whether the portal aimed for Shen Jiu or he pushed one of the other two out of the way, the end result is that LQG and YQY see Shen Jiu disappear before their eyes. (Again, angst galore for YQY for the moment)
Shen Jiu, after ending up in Liyue mid-archon war, is more focused on getting back to where he was... until he saw some children that were in danger due to the active warfare around them (monsters everywhere who are very much looking to make as much carnage as possible).
Now, look, I am not denying that Shen Jiu is an asshole (to say the least), but he is also a cultivator whose job is to protect civilians from monsters/demons and who is send on missions to do these things. Him saving some children doesn't mean he is not still an asshole. It just means he has some morals and a sense of duty. That is all. He is still very much the sharp-clawed cat that spits poison when people approach.
What happens next is simple: some adepti/yaksha find him while he is fighting the monsters. The adepti help in defeating the monsters and - barely manage to - convince Shen Jiu to follow them to safety.
From there, Shen Jiu is on a rollercoaster of emotions:
First, he learns that no one in this place ever heard of Cang Qiong Sect, and that leads to the idea that he is from somewhere outside of Teyvat.
Second, neither Shen Jiu nor the adepti (of the God they serve named Rex Lapis) seem to know how to get Shen Jiu back to his world.
Third, Shen Jiu misses Yue Qingyuan. Like a lot. Especially so after he learns that there might not be a way for him to get back.
Fourth, this place (Liyue) is in the middle of a war. And that is terrifying because Shen Jiu might just die here, too.
Fifth - and this is the most weird point of them all for Shen Jiu - these adepti seem to almost... care about his well-being? Which, of course, is impossible in Shen Jiu's mind. Not only is he not even part of this world, but they barely know him for a little less than a week. There is no way people can care about him this easily, right? There must be something that they want from him, right?
All in all, this is stressful for our paranoid Shen Jiu. He is fully convinced the adepti and their God only saved him so that he (who is not of this world) could help them win this war. Shen Jiu hates owning people, so he will help them just to not own them anything. (Owning someone a debt is dangerous, and Shen Jiu knows that too well)
Meanwhile, the adepti + Morax (and Guizhong, if she is still alive) look at Shen Jiu and go: "This poor little child. He is so small and skinny. He needs to be somewhere safe and to be fed three full meals a day."
What follows is Shen Jiu trying to help the adepti (so he can pay his debt to them) and the adepti trying (emphasis on trying) to take care of Shen Jiu. It's a hodgepodge of both sides trying to help the other without making too much fuss about it. And not to mention that both sides become attched to each other - even if Shen Jiu will die before he ever admits this. And so things seem to continue like this for months, and everything is more or less fine. That is until Shen Jiu takes a hit for one of the adepti (or even for Xiao) on the battlefield.
That attack wouldn't have killed an adeptus (not that Shen Jiu would know that), but it can kill a human. And, for all that cultivation that Shen Jiu has, he is still fundamentally human. So, Morax gives him the option to make a contract with him so that Shen Jiu will live. The price is a simple but heavy one: Shen Jiu will not be human anymore, but an adeptus.
Seeing no other way out of this death situation, Shen Jiu accepts. He wants to live so he can go back to his world. If he can live, he will live. He is not picky about the method - he did way worse things for the sake of survival before.
Thus, Shen Jiu becomes an adeptus and continues to help Morax and the others in protecting Liyue through the Archon War. At the end of the war, many were lost, and yet, Shen Jiu believes it could have been worse. With Morax now an Archon, peace can come back to Liyue.
Since Morax is aware of Shen Jiu's love for the arts, he proposed that their newest adeptus settle down in a place where the arts and traditions are very much appreciated: Chenyu Vale. And that place has become Shen Jiu's new home for the next 2000 years.
Meanwhile
Going back to the SVSSS/PIDW world, Shen Jiu's disappearance is a very heavy blow to Yue Qingyuan and Liu Qingge. Here are some exerpts from my own angst-filled imagination about them:
"He barely had his Xiao Jiu back for 3 years at the sect, where he is safe and within his grasp, and now, once again, he is taken away from him. And Yue Qingyuan regrets a lot of things - but most of all, he regrets not coming clean to Xiao Jiu about their past and his failure to save him. He regrets this so much, and yet he is unable to do anything to change it. He had so many chances to come clean - now there is no guarantee that Xiao Jiu is even alive any longer."
"Liu Qingge, for all he had hated Shen Qingqiu, is also heavily impacted by his disappearance. Not having someone like Shen Qingqiu - with a sharp tongue and not a very nice personality - should be a relief. And yet, it just makes him feel empty. There is no one to curse at Liu Qingge and yet there is also no one to fight him everytime he visits (read: barges into) Qing Jing Peak. After their searches for Shen Qingqiu yielded no result, Liu Qingge insisted that Yue Qingyuan let's him break the news to Shen Jiu's family. (Shen Qingqiu was a spoiled young master - there is no doubt in Liu Qingge's mind that his family is worried sick for him. They deserve to know what happened to Shen Qingqiu most out for everyone.) Hearing that Shen Jiu is - was - an orphan was not what Liu Qingge thought he would hear. That was not what Liu Qingge ever wanted to hear. Because that had to be a lie, right? ... but if it wasn't a lie and Liu Qingge was wrong about Shen Qingqiu being a spoiled young master... what else was he wrong about?"
For the following 15 years, all the Peak Lords felt Shen Jiu's absence - Yue Qingyuan, Liu Qingge, and, surprisingly, Qi Qingqi the most of all. (Especially so after a lot of information about their former martial brother came to light)
Luo Binghe still comes to Cang Qiong Sect, but since there was no Shen Qingqiu to be named Qing Jing Peak Lord and to take the boy into his peak out of spite, he is taken in by the Bai Zhan Peak Lord, Liu Qingge.
Ning YingYing also still ends up as a desciple at Qing Jing Peak - but she is very much bullied by her fellow brothers and sisters for her poor performance and young age.
Yue QingYuan is only alive because he had yet to extinguish that hope to see his Xiao Jiu alive again. Liu Qingge and Qi Qingqi hope to see Shen Qingqiu again as well so that they can both apologize to him - for the rumors that Qi Qingqi started, for the insults that Liu Qingge thew at him, for not being better martial siblings for him. (Even if Shen Qingqiu might be at fault for that too, they also can't excuse their own behavior)
But then, during the Immortal Allience Comference in which Luo Binghe participates, another portal, very much resembling the one that took Shen Qingqiu away from them, opens up again and takes Yue Qingyuan, Liu Qingge, Qi Qingqi, Liu Mingyan, Luo Binghe and Ning Yingying with it.
Now, all five cultivators (and a demon) are thrown into Liyue 2000 years after Shen Jiu has first set foot in this region. Can the Peak Lords find their martial brother? And what will the desciples' reaction to Shen Qingqiu be? Can they even leave this strange world and go back home with Shen Qingqiu? Does Shen Qingqiu even want to come with them?
We'll have to see!
~
So this is most of what I have for this fic idea, bit I wanna include some little tidbits here at the end:
There were 3 reasons why this idea started:
Chenyu Vale just screams "Shen Qingqiu" to me. This image in particular strikes me as a place Shen Qingqiu would choose as his adeptus abode.
Since Shen Qingqiu is a shizun, during the Genshin Livestream for 4.4 my brain went: "You know how Cloud Retainer goes on and on about how "When Ganyu/Shenhe was a child" right? Imagine Shen Qingqiu doing the same as an adeptus master for Gaming towards Cloud Retainer when they have tea together." So yeah, Gaming is Shen Qingqiu's little apprentice. And with how Gaming loves Wushu Dance (aka a traditional form of art), it would make sense for him to have Shen Qingqiu as an adeptus master.
Last but not least, I am not gonna lie, I just wanted to force some type of therapy onto Shen Jiu. Why did I have to send him to Teyvat for therapy, you ask? Well, theoretically speaking, every single person in Teyvat has some type of trauma (some may have it worse than others but trauma is still trauma), and I feel like whatever type of therapy they practice in Teyvat kinda works because, for all the trauma the characters have, they don't seem as harden and callous as Shen Jiu. So, whatever they have been feeding on to help with the trauma, I want like 50 portions for Shen Jiu.
Some other things of note:
Shen Jiu has 3 options for a Vision/Elemental Powers: Anemo, Cryo or Pyro
Shen Jiu's adeptus form is that of a Jiufeng - an early depiction of a Phoenix that has 9 heads. I believe it is a good correlation because Shen Jiu turning into an adeptus doesn't mean he is not Shen Jiu anymore. It's not a full resurrection and new life altogether for Shen Jiu, just another WAY to survive.
Shen Jiu met Gaming when he was a child who got lost around the mountain/parts of Chenyu Vale that Shen Jiu protects. He helped the kid go back to Qiaoying Village. Gaming called him "Master Adeptus Bird" as a child, and it changed to "Shizun" after Shen Jiu decided to take him in.
I don't know if this might end up as a Shen Jiu/Yue Qingyuan or Shen Jiu/Liu Qingge, but regardless of the pairing, I wanna say that Shen Jiu will at least get some friends and family (new or old) out of this whole situation
Here is a little funny thing I thought about as I was writing this monstrosity of a post:
Cloud Retainer: When Ganyu/Shenhe was a child...
Madame Ping: When Yanfei/Xianling/Yaoyao was a child...
Shen Jiu: When Gaming was a child...
All Adepti + Morax: When Shen Jiu was a child:
Shen Jiu:... fuck you guys...
Either way, this is about everything I have in me for today (I have been writing this for nearly 2 hours, so please excuse any typos you may find).
What do you think? Good? Bad? A bit too much? (My brain is literally cooked after this post)
Let me know what you think.
Also, I wanna say that I wrote this literally 2 days before 4.4 is live, so I don't know anything about Chenyu Vale or Gaming's story outside of what was shown/said during the livestream.
See you guys tomorrow,

thanks for sharing the post. have the user blocked. hate it when people apply western (e.g. english) practices and cultures to other practices and cultures. it is not the same :( either way, what is the canto accent? i am not a native chinese so i don’t know what’s the accent they gave gaming. could you explain (if you can!)
oh no problem i don't think it was like a terrible post on the relative scale of internet takes, but op pissed me off lol like a native canto speaker spoonfeeds you info and you just refuse to engage with it. it's not even being curious it's just dense as hell. they eventually came around but man the reading comprehension-
anyways the canto accent—idk how to describe it tbh. some of the syllables sound more canto? like the way they're broken up and which words get more emphasis etc. tons of ppl (on bilibili) said it sounds like very realistic/authentic "guangpu" which is shorthand for cantonese accented standard chinese. the best example of this imo is when he says 本领嘛 (běnlǐng ma) in the suanni papercut teaser; the stress/emphasis on each syllable like separates them a lot more than in mando? ben and ling especially sound sharper when he said it, like if you use more force w your tongue/lips to pronounce the b and l sounds. i am not a linguist so this could be completely off (but there's more unrelated talk about canto vs mando under the cut)
the more explainable thing he does is use phrases that aren't used in standardized mandarin. 我埋单(wo3 máidān) ("my treat" in eng dub) is a canto phrase—i think(?) mandarin speakers would say 我结账 (wo jiézhàng). 埋 means bury in mandarin, but in cantonese it can mean to close/settle (accounts), or come together (as in closing a wound). closing the check in this case ig. importantly 埋单(canto) and 买单(mǎidān, mandarin) do not mean the same thing (unlike i originally thought haha), even though the tones are v similar
he also says 勤力点 (qínlì diǎn) during the suanni trailer which i assume would be 尽力点 (?) (jìnlì diǎn) in mando, they both mean the same thing (to work hard) it's just diff words. qin is the first word of qinkuai 勤快, hardworking
his 喔 (wo, filler word) and 哪(na, also filler word, except he says it like 那哈 na ha to me lol) also just sounds so canto jfsdkfj. they both exist in mando and are used but idk the pronunciation sounds a bit diff?
DISCLAIMER: this is all written by a mando only speaker. I watched the trailer and just listened to everything gaming said that I've never heard spoken in mandarin before, then searched it up to see if it was actually canto, but I do not speak Cantonese. if any of this info is incorrect please tell me, i don't want to spread misinfo. thank you! <3
cantonese vs mandarin rambling utc
more about how the accent differs: I thought about this q a bit and ended up searching for canto text to speech. This likely won't help much, since ga-ming spoke accented mandarin, not entirely cantonese, but if you're curious and want to hear the differences between standard mandarin and canto, you can go to https://fanyi.baidu.com/#zh/yue/ and paste some chinese text into this, and click on the speaker/audio button at the bottom of the text boxes to hear it spoken. the left is mandarin, the right is cantonese. if you'd like you can also paste the text into google translate, which will give you the mandarin pinyin. i extracted some of gaming's most noticeable lines here if u wanna try. Honestly, it might be more helpful to listen to his lines in mandarin and then listen to gaming's version to see if you can hear any differences, because his audio from the livestream is a lot closer to mandarin than cantonese
舞兽戏 你们听说过没有 (said in standard mandarin, beginning of 4.4 trailer)
舞兽戏在沉玉谷地区还是很有名的喔 (at 0:10, 4.4 trailer)
去新月轩喝个早茶怎么样?(std mandarin) 我埋单 我埋单 (at 0:31 in the 4.4 trailer)
本领嘛 多学多练 勤力点,总能行的。哪,你看文仔也觉得对喔!(1:38 in tidings of an auspicious beast)
"所以是真的吗,老先生" is the one other thing he says in the suanni PV, but there's a very slight difference that i don't know if i'm hallucinating it
there are 2 more lines that I didn't include (his skill and burst voicelines) but i can't tell if there's much diff in his accent. his skill sounds a tad diff but idk if im just not familiar with the words L
#anyways. hi anon. thanks for the q! i hope this helps! sorry about the late answer haha#ga-ming#gaming#gaming genshin#嘉明#teyvat thoughts#genshin impact#asks#anon ask

idk if leakers have already found out the upcoming banner orders for natlan, but heres my guess for the archon marathon based off of previous patterns and what we learned from the livestream
first of all, the patterns.
1. only one archon runs per patch. even since the introduction of double and quadruple banners (the latter of which now being a staple due to how many characters we have), we have never had two archons per patch. for example with the fontaine patches, zhongli was in 4.0, venti in 4.1, furina in 4.2, etc.
2. the previous archon gets their rerun last, before the newest archon gets their first rerun (though this does not apply to zhongli and venti since they both released in 1.x). in sumeru, raiden got her rerun last in 3.3 due to be the newest before nahida. in fontaine, nahida got her rerun last in 4.4 due to being the newest before furina. you get the idea
we also learned today in the livestream that the natlan archon quest will release in 5.0, 5.1, and 5.3. since archons always release with the last act, i can assume mavuika will release in 5.3
we also know raiden will be kicking off the archon marathon in 5.0. with that, my guess is that nahida will run after her in 5.1. i only say this because nahida followed after raiden in 4.3-4.4, so i assume she will follow after her again. zhongli or venti will likely run in 5.2, mavuika will come out in 5.3, whoever didnt run of the two in 5.4 will run then, and furina will most likely rerun in 5.5. i assume mavuika will probably get her first rerun in 5.7 if not 5.6 (i say 5.7 because they might want a gap after the archon marathon.)
of course, this is just a guess. reruns for venti, zhongli, and nahida could be in any order, really. but i think the most likely parts here are going to be mavuika in 5.3, and furina in 5.5. even if 5.5 isnt the exact number, furina will be the last one before mavuika's rerun.
#genshin impact#this is all a guess but yknow. we'll see what happens#also interesting thing: the streak of zhongli and venti kicking off a new patch has ended#in 3.0 and 4.0 zhongli had a rerun and in 3.1 and 4.1 venti had a rerun#though this time around raiden is having hers first. maybe this means nahida will kick off 6.0?

Still have to wait for 4.4 to come out but based on what was shown of Gaming in the livestream for 4.4 I'm leaning towards him being closer in age to the younger characters in the Liyue group like Chongyun and Xingqiu

Regarding the Chronicled Wish, I think it's good if there's no character you want on the event character banner.
For example, you love Eula and you're f2p. When Eula first came out you fell in love with her. You saved up so much but you ended up losing your 50/50 to Jean. You tried saving up again but her banner ended. You end up saving tons of primogems for her rerun, skipping every single banner, maybe pulling for a few for characters you like but she doesn't show.
When she finally gets her rerun, you try again and this time, you get her but you want her weapon too and lose that 50/50. You're so frustrated since you realise that it will probably be ages until she shows up again but during the 4.5 livestream, you see she's there and her weapon in a new banner. How great is that? You have a chance to not only get Eula constellations, but also maybe R5 her weapon.
Yes, you'll still lose your 50/50 but if none of the characters in the main character banners are what you want, why not spend your primogems on the Chronicled Wish?
That's a recommendation that if like to give. If you're someone who's not interested in Chiori because she seems bad or Itto because you don't like his playstyle. Maybe you don't want a constellation for your Neuvillette or Kazuha or maybe you just don't want them in general, why not pull on a banner where you have a chance to maybe get a character or weapon you want?
Take 4.4 for example. I didn't want Xianyun because personally, I found it quite strange on how and why Cloud Retainer was becoming playable when she's normally a minor character to the story so it was a kinda personal reason for not pulling. I didn't fancy Xiao because I'm not a fan on his plunging because I can't get the timing right in fighting events or his trial run. I didn't fancy a C1 Use Miko and I didn't want a C1 Nahida because if I want her, I want enough primos for her C1 & her C2. I literally haven't wished since 2nd Feb and began saving up for 4.6 due to the rumours on Arlecchino.
When it was revealed that Kazuha was rerunning early and not in summer, I now badly want him (and got some help with a poll too on deciding!) But since I have already saved some wishes for Kazuha, having something like the Chronicled Wish available during 4.4, I could just make sure I have enough spare for Kazuha and use the rest to wish. I literally had to make an alt account so I could freely spend any primogems on the current banner just to stop me from spending my already saved up stash and maybe winning my 50/50 on Xiao or Yae Miko.
So is the Chronicled Wish a good thing? Yes. Is it a bad thing? Also yes but it gives opportunities for those who want to spend their primogems but on someone or a weapon they want rather than waiting a lifetime again for them to come back. Plus, it be super cool if when the next Chronicled Wish banner shows up, it's Liyue characters followed by Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine and in the future Natlan and Snezhnaya one's with the weapons are replaced with their signatures and the skyward would remain as alternatives.
In the end, it's up to you to decide. I like it but hate it at the same time and I know that a lot of people feel the same way.
Sorry it was very long, but I had a lot to say.

Finally had a chance to look at the bits and pieces from the Genshin livestream today and holy shit, they rocked with the skins for 4.4. A big issue I’ve always had with Ganyu is her hair, but giving her that bun is amazing! And Shenhe’s qipao is so fucking pretty, holy shit! And the fact that it looks like they have matching hair pieces too, it’s amazing. Xingqiu’s is very pretty too, it kinda reminds me of those videos I’ll see of ppl giving him Furina’s animations
