🇺🇸 Notional task organization of a U.S. Army Armor Company Team. Higher res version at the graphics page of our website.
⚔ This depicts a common configuration of an Armor Company going to war. Such Armor Companies are part of Combined Arms Battalions (CAB) of the Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT), with either 2 Armor and 1 Infantry Company or the reverse. However, TRADOC appears to have a plan to switch back to 2 Armor and 2 Infantry Companies per CAB like it was prior to 2016. Most Armor Companies are equipped with M1A2 SEPv2 or M1A1 SA "Abrams" main battle tanks, and consist of a Company Headquarters and 3 Tank Platoons as organic elements. However, for a combined arms fight, things are shuffled around and support is attached.
Tumblr media
⚔ This configuration shows the company with an attached Mechanized Infantry platoon, having traded its 3rd platoon with an infantry company. A Fire Support Team (FIST) is also attached, immediately from the Battalion HQ but ultimately from the Field Artillery Battalion, to coordinate fires. An intelligence analyst is shown at half opacity in the FIST's box but whether one would be attached to a company would depend on the type of operation. A Stinger team has been attached for limited short-range air defense (in the future these will be organic to the companies rather than attached) and an Engineer Squad from the Brigade Engineer Battalion has been attached for mobility and counter mobility support.
⚔ In terms of sustainment, a Field Maintenance Team has been attached from the battalion's attached Forward Support Company providing second-line maintenance support and vehicle recovery. An Ambulance Squad, equipped with an M113A3, has also been attached to provide ground-based medical evacuation.

That was reported by army.mil.
The unit’s arrival marks the start of back-to-back rotations of armored brigades in Europe as part of Atlantic Resolve. In total, 4th ID is bringing 3,500 personnel, 87 tanks, 18 Paladins; 419 multi-purpose Humvees and 144 Bradley tanks; a total of more than 2,000 pieces of equipment and containers to train alongside their multinational partners in several countries across Europe.
The vast amount of equipment was transported by three cargo ships, rail, commercial line-haul and a military convoy, and will consolidate near training areas in Drawsko Pomorskie and Zagan, Poland.
“Initially they (U.S. Soldiers) will be assembling in Poland and going through tactical assembly activities to make sure they are ready to fight, which means they are able to shoot, move and communicate,” said U.S. Army Europe Deputy Commander, Maj. Gen. Tim McGuire. “They will also go into some training exercises with the Polish Armed Forces and then the brigade will move out to locations from Estonia down to Bulgaria and Romania.”
According to Col. Christopher R. Norrie, commander of 3rd ABCT, 4th ID, the unit began training with individual task, starting at squad level, all the way to collective task in preparation of the upcoming deployment.
“We have been training the past few months and it is a progression that includes individual weapons qualification training, all the way through collective training and culminated at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California,” said Norrie.
Once the Soldiers have completed their nine-month deployment, the goal is to keep an armored brigade in Europe to defend allies and partners in the European community.
“This (mission) is heel-to-toe, which means before this brigade redeploys, another armored brigade combat team from the United States will deploy with all of their equipment so once again we are getting additional repetition in so we can continue to learn,” said McGuire.

IOP inspires “Extensive Outpatient Program,” and it is a kind of rehab where customers live in your home (rather of in a devoted sober recovery center), however, go through a series of hours of on-site rehab treatment lots of days a week.
The most substantial advantage of outpatient care is that it uses more flexibility than inpatient care. It allows clients to get treatment and treatment while residing in your house. Inpatient treatment is more costly and usually requires 24/7 presence on the centers.
An outpatient rehab is a more relied on option for many individuals, specifically those with jobs and households to keep to this day with. Even a reasonably short, 28-day inpatient program can be far major to require somebody with a task and other day-to-day commitments. After all, when is the last time you got 4 weeks straight off to handle no problems?
However hassle-free as it is, standard outpatient treatment is usually not the outright finest choice for recovery, as it does not supply enough assistance for some clients in between treatment sessions. An essential outpatient program consistently includes simply a variety of treatment sessions a week. For those with genuinely substantial conditions, a number of times a week merely isn’t actually real in truth appropriate treatment.

Pentagon: Presence of US Army in Poland is Purely Defensive
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Army's deployment of a division in Poland is purely defensive and anyone who suggests otherwise is wrong, Pentagon spokesperson Dana White told reporters on Thursday.
"Our presence there is defensive. We're very transparent about our presence there," White said when asked about the deployment. "We are in those places in a defensive posture and we are very clear about that, and anyone who sees anything differently would be wrong."

Igor Konashenkov said that Washington used Western hysteria over the joint Russian-Belarusian Zapad-2017 drills to "quietly" deploy its 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team in Poland along with its own equipment in Poland near Russia’s border.
The spokesman said the military equipment of the US 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team had not yet been removed, thus creating a de-facto mechanized division near the Russian border in violation of the NATO-Russia Founding Act.
Later in the day a Department of Defense spokesman Johnny Michael told Sputnik that the United States does not plan to build up forces in Europe and does not consider rotating its troops in and out of the continent as a violation of its pact with Russia.
The Pentagon spokesman has argued that "heel-to-toe" rotations occurred every nine months as part of the US collective security commitment to its European allies "in light of Russian aggressive actions in the region."
The incoming ABCT, he said, is still in the process of rotating in. It is made up of some 3,300 personnel and about 1,600 pieces of equipment, including 85 tanks. The outgoing unit arrived in Europe on January and is "transitioning out of the theatre."
"At any given time there are approximately 3,500 rotational ABCT forces deployed for Operation Atlantic Resolve," the Pentagon spokesman said, adding the incoming unit "replaces that of the departing unit not in addition to."
Poland's Defense Minister on Thursday denied that a US Army division had been newly deployed in his country, saying NATO battalions are regularly stationed there.

The European Command said the troops are assigned to 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment of the US Army.
The chairman of the Russian lower house of parliament's International Affairs Committee, Konstantin Kosachev, said Thursday that the United States had strengthened its military presence in the vicinity of the border because of misguided fears after Russia's Zapad-2017 drills.
Vladimir Shamanov, head of Russia's State Duma Defense Committee, warned on Thursday that Moscow could opt to strengthen its group of Iskander tactical ballistic missiles on its side of the border, including in the Kaliningrad exclave, in response to US actions in the Baltic region.
The Zapad-2017 drills were held on September 14-20 on the territory of Russia and Belarus. The United States and other western countries have repeatedly expressed concerns over the joint drills, saying that Russian troops, deployed in Belarus for the Zapad-2017 exercises, could remain in Belarus after the drills. Russian and Belarusian officials have repeatedly refuted the allegations.

FORT CARSON, Colorado — More than 4,000 U.S. soldiers based at Fort Carson, Colorado, are heading to Kuwait, where they will take over as one of America's largest ground forces in the region after President Barack Obama asked Congress to authorize military action against Islamic State militants. Obama ruled out large-scale U.S. ground combat operations similar to those in Iraq and Afghanistan, but he asked for the option to use military force against Islamic State fighters for three years. The fight could be extended to any "closely related successor entity" to the Islamic State group that has overrun parts of Iraq and Syria, imposed an extreme form of Sharia law and killed hostages it has taken, including several Americans. Since the end of the Iraq invasion in 2011, the U.S. Army has maintained a brigade presence in Kuwait. Those soldiers, including two units from Fort Carson, have worked to train local troops from throughout the Middle East. In its most recent deployment to Kuwait, a combat team from Fort Carson conducted training missions with allies including Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, which have joined the coalition against Islamic State fighters. The unit headed to Kuwait is Fort Carson's heaviest force, armed with tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. Many of its soldiers are veterans of one or more of the brigade's previous combat tours in Iraq. "We're no strangers to deployment," said the brigade's commander, Col. Greg Sierra. The brigade has trained more than a year for the Kuwait mission. The soldiers practiced combat skills last used in the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported. The brigade's training regimen readied soldiers for a range of missions from humanitarian relief to non-stop combat, Sierra said. He told soldiers and their families that if his brigade tangles with Islamic State fighters, the outcome won't be in doubt. "In the end, if we do get into fights, we win decisively."

‘Old Hickory’ provides Bradley armored vehicles in fight against ISIS
The U.S. Army 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, known as ‘Old Hickory’, recently provided M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles to support Operation Inherent Resolve and the coalition’s mission to protect critical infrastructure against ISIS, said in an Army’s news release.
The unit was mobilized to support the 38th Infantry Division’s Task Force Spartan in August 2019, training at Fort Bliss, Texas before arriving in Kuwait. Their mission in Operation Spartan Shield is part of a rotational armored brigade combat team to assist partnered nations train and provide stability in the region.
“We are here as American Soldiers, one team, to do what our nation needs us to do,” said Bumgardner. “We didn’t come here to sit at watch, we came here to be part of the fight. They needed heavy vehicles to reassure our friends and deter our foes, so that is where we are.”
Old Hickory is designed to be self-sufficient on the battlefield, with more than 4,000 Soldiers headquartered in National Guard armories across North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia. Its major equipment includes the M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank, M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the 155-Millimeter Self-Propelled Paladin Howitzer.
Recent combat deployments are nothing new to Old Hickory, with this being the third deployment as an entire brigade since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Their previous deployments were in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq in 2004 and 2009.
“We have a true combined arms force on the ground in support of direct operations,” said Bumgardner. We as a National Guard ABCT are part of the Army’s operational force and we are answering that call.”
“Adding mechanized forces provides infantry, maneuverability, and firepower. All Coalition military operations are de-conflicted with other forces operating in the region, through pre-existing channels and interlocutors in order to reduce the risk of interference, miscalculation, or unintended escalation of military operations,” said U.S. Army Col. Myles B. Caggins III, Coalition military spokesman.
Old Hickory is replacing the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division from Fort Carson, who assumed authority of the armored brigade combat team mission in Kuwait in March 2019.
