You guys. You guys. We. Have. EGGS!
I love them so much. They're refillable and reusable and DURABLE. They won't crack, unlike traditional eggs.
Please don't throw them at people. It'll hurt. I know this because I've dropped them on my toes and on my hardwood floor and just. There was a lot of dropping because I'm a klutz. So maybe don't let your minions throw them at anyone either.
Anyway.
Easter is the end of March this year, which in my opinion is WAY TOO EARLY but I'm not in charge. If I had my way Easter would always be in April but it is what it is.
Designed by Cinderwing3D, our Easter Eggs are available in Butterfly, Mystery, and Dragon styles. I chose the colors, which are rainbow (a tricolor filament), pink. yellow, green, blue, and purple.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Want one special egg? Go for it. Need a half dozen? We have em!
Do you want a color combination? You can do that too. Just select 'Color Combination' from the Color menu on our site, and then in Special Instructions at checkout let me know which colors you want.
As always, available on our website and on Etsy, so use whichever one floats your boat!

Hello! I wanted to share my process of how I made my Easter Pony! She is my second ever custom and she made all the trouble I had with the first one seem like a walk in the park in comparison ಥ_ಥ Let's begin!
DISCLAIMER: Custom ponies like this one are not to be played with by children nor made by children. This pony was made with the use of nail polish remover (acetone) which is toxic. You need to wash your hands throughly after use and use in a well ventilated area. This pony was also made with sharp tools such as an xacto knife, sewing pins, rehairing needles, and an awl.
Tumblr media
First, the concept art! Trial and error caused her to look a little different than the concept art but I still love the end result!
Tumblr media
I wanted to start with a white base to give myself a clean canvas for dyeing so I got this G3 Breezie off Ebay for only $3. I decided to first remove her mane and tail which requires removing the head. If you know anything about G3 pony customzing, you know their heads are difficult to get back on once they come off. Even when you run them under warm/hot water. So to get it back on for dyeing, I tried trimming a little excess of vinyl off the neck ring with my xacto knife. It slipped and got me right under my nail! Bad omen for what's to come!
Tumblr media
After getting her prepped (removing her mane and tail, cleaning her, using acetone (nail polish remover) to remove her cutie mark) she was ready for a dye bath! I used Rit DyeMore as regular Rit Dye won't dye the vinyl material that ponies are made of. This was my first ever time dyeing anything that wasn't fabric so I was thrilled when she came out this warm rich brown! So pretty!
Tumblr media
I read online that dyed ponies will leach dye onto other ponies if they touch, so I wanted to try and prevent this as much as possible with some matte sealer. Lesson #1: Even though she was dry, the matte sealer reactivated the dye! The smallest touch left a print! :(
Tumblr media
I pushed forward! And tripped immediately after! I thought, "Surely matte Modge Podge will seal her just that much more" and to my dismay, the Modge Podge kept every brush stroke I made when it dried!! She looked like a leather hand bag! ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅ )‧º·˚ I learned later you can buy matte Modge Podge spray online but all I had was the type you brush on to your surface.
Thankfully, with the help of sixteen cotton balls and a q-tip with acetone, I managed to remove all the sealer but she was no longer that nice rich brown. Oh well I still loved her!
And whoever said the paint will protect the eyes from the dye has clearly never dyed a dark pony! Her eyes were so brown after this lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Painting, adding of polymer clay easter themed confetti, and adding her 3D chocolate bunny cutie mark went great! It was all going well until the eyes.
I had never fully painted pony eyes before so the first attempt was pretty bad. Not even my multiple attempts at glitter and using clear nail polish as a cheap gloss on the eyes could save them.
It was so bad that I almost didn't take any pictures but when I went to seal her head, this weird white powder covered half of her face?? I had never seen this before and it freaked me out thinking I just ruined her. I managed to get it off with a cotton ball and some acetone but her paint was fully damaged.
Turns out this was caused because I didn't shake the can of sealer well enough. I needed a break....
Tumblr media
While I took a break for a few days, I decided to watch tutorials on how to paint doll eyes and learned that it's actually pretty common to use high quality watercolor pencils; either Faber Castell or Derwent (which is what I ended up buying).
When I came back, I made the hard decision of removing all the paint and decorations from the head and starting over. Hours of work gone but it was so worth it! 🩷 Removing the paint with acetone ended up making her head lighter than her body so I had to redye her head lol. This time I mixed Derwent pencils with acrylic paints for her eyes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Time for the hair! I've never done curls before and my original plan was to buy curly hair online but it's so hard to find in the color and curl size I wanted.
So my second idea was to buy small curlers to use on regular nylon doll hair bought from ShimmerLocks on Etsy. But when I tested them out on poor Flower Bouquet it looked so bad ಥ_ಥ
I discovered a Youtube channel you may know called Dollightful where in one of her Stock Box videos she used yarn that she unraveled to make super cute tight wavy hair for a doll. It was a perfect solution! It looks so good but omg it was tedious haha! I used it for her tail too; sectioning off the colors hoping they'd stay separated (they didn't lol).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
She's nearly complete! Time for small decorations! I tried so many different ears from air dry clay to stealing some from bunny decorations I bought at the store and nothing was working! But I had one last idea...
I gave these old Littlest Pet Shop costume bunny ears some use with a flat top sewing pin and some glue so now my pony has bunny ears! Yay!
I forgot it in the concept art, but I originally wanted to add flowers to her mane but I couldn't figure out how to do that without glue which I didn't want to do, too permanent, so I opted for some beads I had on hand. I didn't have any light blue so I made some with the use of acetone (nail polish remover in my case) and boom! Light blue beads! Then I washed them off so the acetone wouldn't damage anything :)
I used a gold topped sewing pin, a butterfly charm, a felt flower and two faux flowers to create a cute hair accessory!
Finally I sewed a hair tie to a puffball to give her a removable cottontail if I ever wanted to take it off.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And DONE! She looks so good after so much time and effort! I worked on this girly for two weeks I think? She actually had a partner I designed but I've run out of time to make her :') Maybe next year? 👀 🩷🩷

Introducing Delilah, my latest 3D printed project just in time for Halloween. 🦆🎃 She's a customisable duck with interchangeable accessories like a witch’s hat, pumpkin hat, gravestone, candy basket, and ghost costume. I had a blast exploring different filament colours to give her personality, and I’m really proud of how she turned out.
What excites me most is the potential for Delilah to evolve beyond just Halloween. I'll be designing seasonal accessories (like Christmas, Easter, and even Valentine’s Day) so she can be a year-round creative piece.
This project has been a great exploration of modular design and I’m looking forward to seeing how I can push these concepts further. Let me know your thoughts 💀✨
If you're interested in my models, you can check them out here at my Cults3d online store.

HOLY FREAKING MOLY!
YOU SOLD ME OUT!
I can't believe it! My print queue is full of orders till next WEDNESDAY. Are you KIDDING ME?
I mean, obviously not considering the extreme LACK OF INVENTORY but honestly, thank you all so, so much!
Due to how I batch prints, I'm going to assess just where my inventory is at this coming Friday the 22nd and have an update for you then!
I also have another printer coming, hopefully soon, which will expand how much stock I can offer at once and also let me keep prototyping.
Because I love Easter Eggs, and Turtles, and Dragons, but jeez louise clearly you love them just as much, if not more, than me! There's so many cool collection and series ideas I want to share with you!
Truly, thank you again, and look out for a post from me next Friday!

Hi there!! Sorry if you've answered this before but Tumblr's search is totally functional. LMAO. But where did you get the Art Critter? :0 Or did you make it? ;u; I'm particularly interested in the skull part, I have a soft spot for skulls but real ones make me uncomfy, so I'm hoping to 3D print some replicas when I get my home set up. X3
Art Critter predates this current Tumblr blog so there's not much info on her! I made her back in uhhh 2017 I think, when I was first getting into making videos. Her skull is a hand cleaned (well, deemestid beetle cleaned, back when I had the Nibble Squad) pine marten skull. Her body is one of those mass produced Easter toys, a squeezy bunny, and her arms are from a Monster High doll. Then painted and assembled onto some wire + felt, tah-dah, a strange creature!
Tumblr media
She used to have more little hairs on her body but they sort of disintegrated, so now she looks a little like a plucked chicken lol

Some Scout tf2 props I made for a friend this year
..and the final comic dropped whatttt
I will indeed be yapping about it under the cut.
Tumblr media
Made this from one of those big Arizona tea cans.
Arizona Beverages USA, fighting inflation since 1992 😎
not actually sponsored 😔
Tumblr media
And my Atomizer is made from a real one-handed trainer, so if you hit people with it you can actually easily do lasting damage, just like the game wow! No triple jump though, wasn’t in the budget.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Designed these bad boys to print off, too ⬇️ I finally saved up to get a 3D printer on sale baby 😎 (and shiny ass filament babyy) It took me like half a year to save that 300 bucks but hey I’m not as broke as I once was bc I could even think of saving for something extra like that lmao. So that was absolutely hype as fuck, and calibrating it was a bitch to begin with, so the whole time the job was printing i was just staring at it, watching it go lmao. It’s literally the future. For better or for worse, we’re living in the fucking future man. Took a couple runs to get the scaling exactly where I wanted it, but i fuck w how they turned out. Blender and Cura are wonderful things. Bought the printer thinking maybe I can take on some projects, make some business here and there, make it a worthy investment, feel me?
Tumblr media
I read the final comic today too. Spoilers ahead. I’m gonna bring up a lot of specific details/easter egg type shits that I liked. If you’d rather it remain in artistic subjectivity for your own perception and interpretation then skip to the burrito (this burrito -> 🌯 well not actually this one. the next one. looks just like this one. can’t miss it)
Ok. I want to appreciate:
1) The dedication to Rick May
2) Scout’s mailbox. The way his own family structure has come to mirror the way his mom’s was, the way it was when he was growing up.
3) Spy still doesn’t call himself Scout’s dad to other people, though I’m sure he and Scout both acknowledge it between each other at this point. And he’s shown taking his stinky ass sheisty off in front of everyone casually, which I’m sure he never would have done for most of his life. But he’s come to trust and care for Team Fortress ™️ after all these years. And he seems to have mellowed out. Reprioritized some things.
Scout is being like the father he never had, for his own kids. And he’s forgiven Spy for all that, enough to welcome him into his home, trusting him, allowing him to attempt to make up for lost time, to meet his grandkids. Scout’s forgiveness is honestly wild. I don’t think I would do the same, and *if* I did forgive, I wouldn’t forget. Well, I’m sure Scout hasn’t forgotten either. But Scout’s got a gentler heart than he’ll ever admit, through all that tough talk (and actually beating the shit out of people with baseball bats and stuff lol). And the fact that spy still won’t even call himself the kids’ grandfather.. the way he hesitates.. he probably thinks it’s better at this point if he doesn’t take up the title he doesn’t feel worthy of. He’s so irritating for that, the sad asshole. They really been serving us up some Spy and Scout lore. Comic 6 was the main course and this was the dessert man
4) They kinda acknowledged Pauling as lesbian. She was like “other women are way hotter than me” and then she and scout were like “hell yeah hot women”
5) They definitely acknowledged heavy/medic. Not in an over-the-top way. Just in a the-sweet-side-of-old-man-yaoi-medic-gently-put-his-hand-on-heavy’s-shoulder-and-they-walked-peacefully-away-together kind of way and then a they-brought-their-child-baboon-to-the-swissmas-party
6) Pauling’s conversation with Engie and the way she decided to end things, even for the Administrator. Especially for the Administrator. She had had enough bro. For herself. For the Administrator. For everyone.
7) all the fucking callbacks to previous bits and goofy shit that happened in the previous comics
8) Soldier and Zhanna naming their kids goofy ass America names that I’ve seen in fanon for years
9) the ending Olivia had, and the one Saxton and Maggie had
10) even Merasmus and Tom Jones get to be together
11) love the way the administrator’s story ended tho. She never let go, gaslighting gatekeeping her way to the end. Very fitting for her character. And all the parallel imagery they did for her parts, like the cover pages at the very beginning, the parts with Zeph’s grave, etc. And the artists really drew her well tbh. We saw a lot of her in this comic, way more than any of the others. And even at the end she had such stark features. The pencilers outdid themselves with her expressions, man. Tbh I like the art style for all of them, rly, but especially heavy, the administrator, and spy. Actually fuck that, the way all of them are drawn characterizes them so much. To me, so much feeling is captured in the way their expressions are drawn, especially in comics 6 and 7.
12) Heavy’s mom and demo’s mom as drinking buddies
13) Bronislava still got the hots for Sniper, flirting with him at the party with the mistletoe lmao
14) Bidwell and Reddy.. room for TF2 2: The Sequel when they fight to settle ownership of mann co?
🌯 burrito
The release of this comic is a bittersweet kinda thing, I think. They’re finally closing a book that’s been open for so long, one that the fans pushed hard for them to keep open as long as they did. Had we left it, they would’ve let it shut years ago. I couldn’t help but feel they were acknowledging the FixTF2 stuff in one of the final panels, when Scout was thanking the reader for sticking around through “a lot.” Unlike the preceding comics, this one was done 100% for the fans, not for the franchise. It was done for closure. They finally finished for us what they would have just ended unceremoniously years ago.
And the game will probably continue to be updated here and there for a little while, and the bots are fixed for now, but I think anything Valve has continued with tf2 is purely because of fan demand. With this final comic they’ve presented us with an end to accept. That’s just my interpretation of it, but then again it’s not that deep in the grand scheme of things. it’s just a game.
But damn if it ain’t one of the games ever. No other playerbase can hope to match the complexity of the tf-tism.
And hopefully it’ll be around a while longer bc I know damn well the lot of us will still be playing here and there as long as it’s even 1% playable lmao. The fanbase has such a grip on this game fr
Actually a shit-ton of players have returned to the game since fixtf2. the player count is fucking insane for an almost 18-yo game. Yessirrrrrr

The last post was supposed to be a lot longer, but it got cut off because Tumblr is made of rocks. I’ve got a bit more to share, starting with a little bit of progress on World Eaters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally got my hands on this guy again. I only need two more models to finish my World Eaters character collection: Azrakh the Annihilator and Angron. I also saved the Juggernaut body from my first Invocatus so soon I’ll have a Lord on Juggernaut as well
The fluff behind Lord Invocatus is so excessively metal that I can’t help but love it. The mental image of Avocado here galloping across the sky on a bridge of smoke and flame is one of the most raw things I think I am capable of imaging. That being said, the model is, like, very disappointingly not on fire, even if it’s still a banger model. I felt that this was a horribly missed opportunity, so I went about and built a reposed Invocatus with an added 3D fire effect from Deadly Print Studios to represent the bridge of flames. I’m really happy with this! Not only does the repose make him look larger and more ferocious, but the fire makes him look like the centerpiece that he should be, and the visual of him and his Juggernaut leaping over a plume of flame is sure to strike fear into the hearts of whoever I field him against. Or he’ll be the biggest target on the board because of his posing, and he’ll get shot and killed immediately. We’ll find out!
Tumblr media
In the time since my last post, I’ve also come into possession of a few new neat 3D printed models for some little projects of mine, courtesy of an Ork-playing friend. This guy here is Tyrant Siege Terminator from the Iron Warriors Legion, the Chaos Legion that my Thunderbearers claim their heritage from (not that they’d know this, though).
Making that objective marker from a few posts ago was really fun, so I made some more ideas for custom ones to use with my factions. While I don’t exactly have a plan of action regarding this guy here, I do know that I’m going to turn him into some kind of relic recovery marker. A supremely apocryphal Chapter artifact of the highest sanctity, for the eyes of the most elite Thunderbearers only. An echo from a forgotten past, a powerless demigod from a lost era, frozen in time and waiting for 10,000 years. This’ll eventually be painted in Thunderbearers regalia and draped with either creeping vines and wild overgrowth, or dust, cobwebs, and rubble. Despite its heraldry, however, this ancient armor is still noticeably a Terminator pattern utilized almost exclusively by the Iron Warriors Traitor Legion. This implies that whichever venerable forebear originally adorned this armor would’ve either been a Battle-Brother of the Chapter’s earliest shrouded histories, or a later Astartes of such grand renown that he inherited what would’ve undoubtedly been one of the Chapter’s most valuable artifacts. Regardless, it’s a neat looking piece and not something that people will glean from first glance. It’s like a little Chapter Easter egg basically for me only, and that’s cool cuz it’s my army. <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This beefy boy will be the subject of another objective marker. After a page describing each of the Chaos Gods, 9th Edition’s Codex: Chaos Daemons includes a two-page spread detailing anecdotes about various Daemon Worlds and how exactly they’d fallen to the Gods. The above excerpt from the Khornate incursion on a Daemon World named Tartora struck me as particularly visually poignant, so this boisterous Ork is gonna get turned into a statue of brass and bone. I’ll decorate his base with various skulls and lots and lots of blood. Maybe fire, too. I think a sort of glowing red vein effect on the base might be pretty cool. I’ll use him primarily with my World Eaters. Combined with a classic skull tower that I’m gonna make at some point, that means I’ll have two objective markers for both of my armies.
Tumblr media
Moving on, I’ve been painting my dudes in what I believe to be their final color scheme for a good long while now. I’ve even started putting transfers on some of them as of a couple loads ago. That being said, I noticed that my most up-to-date heraldry sheet was kind of total garbage, and it didn’t represent the current look of the army whatsoever. This new heraldry sheet will be my (almost) final one; the colors are all correct, the helmets are all correct, and the Chapter icon has been edited and finalized. I may change the symbol signifying Chapter Honor Guard to be a set of tilted black stripes, sorts like hazard stripes but with the yellow replaced by Wraithbone. This could be another subtle nod to the Iron Warriors heritage as black stripes are a very common pattern, which means it could rationally be either an ambiguous heraldry of visually pleasing design, or iconography from culture that’s evolved slowly over the course of 10,000 years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the gameplay front, I recently played my first and likely final game of Strike Force in 9th with my brother. To send out 9th and usher in 10th, the Thunderbearers and Cobalt Lancers got together again for a good old fashioned “full-scale combat simulation.” They definitely used tracer rounds or something.
Most of my games are pretty standard but this one was great fun. We had very similar army compositions, with differences only in some key areas, like armor and HQ choice. The plan for us both was to forward deploy Infiltrator squads to hunker down on objectives, since we both took our Chapter-specific action secondaries. The mission we rolled, however, had better plans, and disabled setup rules in No Man’s Land, effectively making the Phobos forward deploy completely useless. It was a really even game, likely my favorite I’ve played so far, and I realize now after playing it that 2000pts is definitely the way that 40k is meant to be played. There were a lot of cool moments, too, and I think that was mostly facilitated by the higher point limit.
Tumblr media
A Redemptor, an Aggressor Squad, an Eversor Assassin, and a Primaris Techmarine walk into a bar.
One of those cool moments was a chain of events that I’ll remember for a good long while. After my Predator las-sniped an enemy Redemptor, my own Redemptor stomped up to join two Space Marine columns locked in combat. After some intense combat, the Dreadnought was felled, surprisingly setting of an explosion, dealing mortals to literally everyone in the circle. The Techmarine takes the opportunity to kill the Eversor after this, who then explodes, killing the Techmarine. Earlier in the game, an Impulsor had exploded, and if I recall correctly, Big Harold exploded, bringing the game’s total explosion count to around 4 or 5. Fun!
My brother beat me on objectives, 26-40. He played his primaries far better than I did, and I was far too focused on killing his scary shit to properly run my secondaries. While I took out his Repulsor—the centerpiece of any good Cobalt Lancers army—during the game’s first BR, which significantly lessened his firepower and freed me up to move, aggressive pushes with his Impulsor and excellent positioning of his squads kept me at bay and I lost the inevitable Astartes vs. Astartes battle of attrition.
I hope that I can play some more 2000pts games here soon. I got my hands on a copy of the new Core Rulebook, so I’ll be hopefully be dipping my toes into the future of the 42nd millennium here soon. I’ve got some friends who wanna get back into the game with 10th, so I’ll be getting a couple Combat Patrol games in as well. Maybe Calthradia will follow into 10th, but the Crusade has been on hold for months now and I’m undergoing some significant life changes at the moment, so I doubt I’ll be making much consistent progress for a while.
