Part of a discord server where we're decided to write a pjo x marvel x JL crossover fic, to make it makes sense, we had to change some of the plot but ened up changing a LOT of the pjo lore (and I do mean a lot) asked the server creator if I could post the pjo changes on my tumblr blog and they said yes so here I am.

The au is called the Three Courts au, 3 Courts or 3C for short.

Before I go any further I would like to thank @hardharmonycollection for co-creating and helping with the world building

The au starts with Poseidon and Percy's conversation on Olympus after the Lightning thief incident (before this everything is canon btw) and during their conversation, Poseidon brings up how before the Oath, Demigods of Poseidon were expected to hold 'Court' and how he wished Percy would continue the tradition.

Court is a bit like a small government based on the Atlantean Government System (AGS), there used to be various Courts called 'Court of Poseidon' around the country each run by a child of Poseidon (or sometimes in the rare case of a demigod born to someone of the Godly Atlantean Royals like Aphitrite, Rhodes etc, by them) where they were expected to act as a 'secondary branches' of the AGS, presiding over and ruling over various sea creatures of their given areas, be they magical or non-magical like sea turtles to Nereids etc.

This was due to many reasons, many sea creatures have trouble reaching Atlantis (vice versa with Atlantians reaching the sea creatures) due to the distance and how deep it is because of which its difficult for Atlantis to administer the far corners of the oceans and seas. It also gave the Demigods an understanding of how the Courts of Atlantis worked so they didn't get caught up in any political intrigue if and when they ever came to visit their Godly parent in Atlantis.

Percy agrees, he's talked to the Nereids of the lake before, helped out a few sea creatures when they got caught up in nets and stuff, shouldn't be any different than that right?

When Percy gets back to Camp, he notices a new section had opened up in the Poseidon Cabin, a set of stairs that lead into the water (like a step well), Percy walks and swims into it and the deeper he goes, he realises he's in a very deep underground caravan, as he continues swimming he comes into a clearing with a MASSIVE underwater complex (Percy unconsciously realises he's at the bottom of the Sea that boarders CHB but that's not for now) a group of Mers and Nereids greet him, welcoming him to his true residence, where those demigod children of the Godly Royal Atlantean Family who take up leadership roles in The Court of Poseidon reside and hold Court.

It's a bit difficult for Percy to take in at first, all these rules and regulations, how to conduct himself and stuff were kinda hard, but with experience he slowly became better at his new job. He held Court once a week, where he and those present would talk about various issues that were affecting the sea and the lake or breaking up conflicts between to species of sea creatures etc.

News of the CoP reopening were spread in hushed whispers by nature spirits towards other nature spirits in camp and its surrounding boarders, not everyone was deigned to know of its existance, though some cabins had to learn of the reopening (told by their Godly parents) because their cabins used to be part of the Courts, an example of this would be the Aphrodite cabin who had a permanent seat due to Aphrodite's Oceanic origins and Hephestus cabin with how Hephestus used to live in Atlantis where he honed his skills and helped grow the Atlantis forge for the first few centuries of his life after Hera threw him him into the ocean after birth for coming out deformed. While there were also others who were more seasonal members like Apollo and Demeter cabin who came in Spring and Winter to talk about safety and agriculture and how it could affect the Sea and lake.

Ofcourse, there were Demigods who found out about Court by themselves such as Malcom Pace (demigod of Athena) , Selene Smith (demigod of Athena) and Marco Hale (legacy of Hermes) all three of whom decided to work at the Court (Court Members receive the blessing or Poseidon to breathe underwater) and quickly rose the ranks to Percy's trusted advisors and later, became part of his Retinue (very important, Nobles, Royals in particular need a Retinue who looked after the Representative of Poseidon, in this case Percy).

Percy wanted to tell Annabeth about the Court, but whenever he brought it up with Malcom and Selene (Annabeth's own siblings) they always got a funny look on their face and said if she was smart she'll find out on her own, which shouldn't take much time because she was pretty smart as shown on the quest, sure she could be a bit prideful at times though but Percy believes she'll figure out about the CoP sooner rather than later.

All in all, Percy had a pretty good reputation in CHB and at his Court, the sea folks feel pretty relieved someone legitimate is finally in charge after 8 decades and they think Percy's fair in his ruling.

When percy got poisioned by Luke the Court FREAKED! There was an attempted murder on the Representative of Poseidon and they like the kid, no one wanted to go back to the days without a proper governing/administrative body being present in CHB's seas and lake also Lord Poseidon would definitely be angry if his son died so there's that, luckily he survived otherwise no one would know what to do. This is when Selene, Malcom and Marco were promoted to part of Percy's Retinue and basically acted as his gaurds, tho they did have secondary duties, Marco was Percy's messenger, Selene was his cook (assassination via food is no joke) and personal stylist (Selene could weave using her mind and was very fashion conscious, always making sure their Prince looked his best) and Malcom was his scholar (secretary you can say).

When school restarted for Percy, Percy would do his Paperwork from home and travel to camp once a week to hold Court.

SEA OF MONSTERS - part 1

Back with the next part of 3C~

The begining is pretty much canon, Percy and Tyson together fighting Canadians, Percy misses his Retainers, knows that if they were here they'd help him fight off the monsters (but no~ he's stuck all alone fighting in a gym with 40 kids, a useless gym teacher and 6 monsters, atleast there's Tyson but Percy's worried he'll get hurt, mortals tend to end up dead when monsters are involved after all).

Turns out, after Percy and Tyson killed all the Canadians, Annabeth was there watching the whole thing, Percy is feeling slightly bitter about it, couldn't she have helped? This is reminding him of that time Annabeth left him to gaurd the flag as a new camper and used him as bait for the five Ares campers.

But that isn't important because Annabeth's insulting his friend for some reason, Percy's not letting it stand and they fight a bit until the Chariot of Damnation is called and they're all taken to Camp Half-Blood, goes canonical for a while until Tyson gets claimed.

Here, Percy doesn't feel as embarrassed as he does in canon, mostly because of Court work he's too sleep deprived to feel such minor emotions like embarrassment, but also because the Court taught him Poseidon has many children and he was eventually going to run into a sibling who didn't look quite human.

Besides, Percy's known Tyson for an entire year, he knows he won't hurt a fly, his retainers are fine with his brother and the Court seems fine with him because Tyson is a baby and all Cyclops that get claimed by Poseidon eventually end up working in the Atlantean Forges and the Cyclops' of Atlantis aren't as blood thirsty as their non-Atlantean counterparts, also there used to be a few Cyclops working in the CoP in CHB before...

Anyways, since Percy holds Court once a week and has Court members (Marco) feeding him info about the happenings of Court and CHB daily, Percy knows about Thalia's tree being poisioned. But he didn't know it was this bad. The base was this sickly shade of green and grey, reminded Percy of the previous summer when he got poisioned, on top of that Chiron was leaving and who was his replacement?! Tantalus...

Percy almost uncapped Riptide then and there when Tantalus made those comments about Tyson, the only think that held him back was his etiquette lessons drilled into him from Court, Percy walks back to his cabin, planning revenge on the cannibal.

Not much changes, Percy's still doing Court work and holding Court once a week, Tyson is working in the underwater forges of cabin 3's underwater residence and has his own Palace- oh, I think I forgot to mention this but the underwater residence is modeled after the Godly Royal Family Palace in Atlantis (but scaled down) and I got inspired by the Chinese Emperor Palaces and loved how there were multiple palaces in one premise so Atlantis is inspired by that.

So Tyson's working in the CoP's forges with the Hephestus kids while Percy deals with Courtly matters, until the Chariot race and a quest being issued.

Percy meets Hermes and is given three dufflebags and is a little confused when Annabeth and Tyson came running to him at the beach, he was expecting Marco, Selene and Malcom to be there, oh well, can't expect a God to know who his friends are right? Gods barely pay attention to their own kids interests, let along a demigod with different Godly parent. Wished he could send a message to Selene, Malcom and Marco saying he needed them though.

Luckily for Percy, Malcom and Selene woke up when Annabeth ran out of their cabin so they ran after her and Marco seems to have a 6th for whenever Percy wants to send a message so they all came running to the beach.

With the help of Rainbow and friends, the six of them made their way into the Sea of Monseters...

at some point the goal is to draw a bit of each group (gotta redo my pomefire ones since they felt a bit rough ( ;꒳;) but for now we take baby steps towards it since i wanna draw fanart of like twst ocs too ive got my eyes on a grumpy pomefiore fish and an azul-hating rock and other aus too •ᴗ•

i figured with trey making him slightly off color would make sense since he could reasonably go out amongst the people (never mind his height and build lol) (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

but for cater trying to depict the "basics of a face but not seeing any details" made me think about how thatd look (○´―`)ゞso i figured caterd probs find a way to hide his face in a way that while you can see features from different angles, like the side and such, hed find a way to hide it as much as he could
