Note

One can be a fan and still have criticisms about their actions. Being a fan does not mean unwavering support 365 days per year without fail. I liked Jensen and was exceedingly disappointed with his behavior during Prequal Gate. I thought that it showed not only very poor judgement, but tremendous disrespect for his former costar and "brother". But guess what? I was also critical of Jared's initial response to the news, which struck me as being impulsive and peevish. See? You can be a fan of someone and recognize that they are people with emotions who make mistakes.

Where Jensen lost me as a fan was his behavior after Prequel Gate broke. The repeated lies over why he couldn't have told Jared what he was planning and then not just making his own character the center of the series and erase any mention of Sam entirely. The way he allowed his wife to take over the legacy of the show that Jared had an equal role in making successful. So I'll still enjoy watching SPN and the interactions between Sam and Dean while making it my plan to not support any of Jensen's future projects.

D/C fans are so transparent. They're criticising Jensen for rt'ing a fan made video for his b'day. The reason they give is because the fan is an "hateful anti", she's actually a J2 fan but even if she was an anti so what? Of course, the real reason is because the video in question hasn't got Misha in it and we all know that Jensen's b'day is supposed to be all about the attention-seeker! Danneel has engaged with the same fan multiple times and they've never criticised her, funny that!

Oh, FFS.

Yeah, that's pretty much standard procedure for them. If Misha isn't included or even just isn't included as much as they think he should be? The desperate scramble for something else to pretend it is justifiable to be angry about starts. It's a really fucking obvious pattern.

Not to mention that there's clearly a bit of a crabs in a bucket mentality going on here, where they're just super upset a fan who is not them got noticed and praised. Even if she was dead serious back during prequelgate for half a minute or whatever? A quick scroll shows that all her content now is positive Jensen, J2, and Jensen with other people, FFS.

The idea that any of the actors should take a magnifying glass and deep dive into the past SM of any fan they might consider interacting with is just ... patently absurd. Even if there had been any notable there right obviously there to see.

“How the hell do you manage to keep up, especially being pregnant?”

You let out a laugh and shake your head. “I guess I’m just used to it. I’ve got three more at home, and they��re all mobile and busy.” You finally had some time off, and after spending the first day of Vegas Con alone, you decided to join up with your friends and their activities. Allison and Kori had been more than happy to include you in on their activities for the day, and between the few panels you wanted to see on the first day, you had been quite busy. “I want to know how you were able to sing that song at Karaoke last night.” You look to Allison who had stopped to take a drink of water. She looks to her girlfriend and smiles. “You’re used to it?” “Yes, and when I can drink, you should see me belt those songs. Inhibitions are out the window.” You laugh. “Oh, I’m getting hungry. We should stop in here. I heard they’re really good.” You point to Hash House, and give them a nod. “Yes! We must feed the pregnant lady!” Kori laughs, pointing to the sky as if making a declaration. “Maybe you should call Toula and David, wake them up and have them join us. (Y/N) would love to meet them.” You shrug your shoulders. “Well, Toula sounds Greek and Greek people are really cool people, so I’m down with meeting some more new friends.”

“So, we’ve been talking. Since you’re pregnant, we can’t really tell what type of fan you are?” David asks after you had finished lunch. You were all digesting and just sitting around. You give him a surprised chuckle, which made his wife Toula elbow him hard in the ribs. “What do you mean?” “Don’t scare off new friends David, why do you ask every supernatural fan how big of a fan they are? They wouldn’t be here if they weren’t big fans.” “But then there’s big fans, who like go to every convention and event and thing they do, or there’s the first timer. And I can’t pinpoint who you are.” You smile at David and shrug your shoulders. “WAIT!” Kori squeals. “It’s your first con? How did I not know this?” “Guilty as charged. I got on the website and picked the closest one to where my sister lives. And it happened to be Supernatural or Stranger Things, and I never got into that show. I’ll stay with my sister before I fly out to Austin. This seemed smartest.” “You’re a con virgin. This is so awesome.” Toula laughs, giving Allison a high five. “I’m betting that you’ve lost your con virginity then, by the way you’re acting?” you ask. “Uh huh. Went to Vegas last year. This’ll be my second.” Allison said. “It’s Kori’s first, and we met Toula last year.” “And it’s my third. David’s second. I dragged him along last year and he seems to like it. Maybe borderline obsessed.” Toula looks to her husband and gives him a face. David rolls his eyes and leans forward, making it a point to only include you in his next question. “Since you just picked the closest one, are you even a Supernatural fan? Like are you current to what’s aired?” he asks. “Yeah. I’m current. Dean died and went to hell, right?” you laugh at his perplexed look. “I’m kidding. I’ve got a thirteen year old. She’s obsessed with Supernatural. We had to get cable so she can watch it that night.” “I still don’t believe it and I’ve known you for over a decade. You look good for having a thirteen year old. And really young.” Allison smiles. “Like what can I do to have good genes when I’ve got a thirteen year old?” “How old do y’all think I am? I could be ancient.” “Mid twenties.” Toula nods with everyone. “Close enough. Thirty one. Had my oldest at eighteen.”

After two days of non stop fun, after Saturday night and the concert, you were tired and ready for a few minutes alone to your thoughts.

Once you were done at the convention, you would fly out of Vegas, and start your new life with your kids, in a new city and a new state. Everyone told you that Austin Texas was the perfect place for the art scene, and your small business would flourish. Then you found out you were pregnant and it changed everything quickly. Your parents took your girls and drove your moving van to Texas while you had one last weekend to yourself. Your ex didn’t want to be a father any more, and wanted to head off on his own adventure with his newest model. Granted you were only thirty one, and you’ weren’t old by standards – it hurt that he replaced you and his daughters for someone else. After a long talk with Harper your oldest, and then Sage and Piper your baby – you finally felt ready to get back to the group and have fun.

“You look like you could use some company. You okay?” You look up to watch Jensen Ackles – the Jensen Ackles – placing a can of sprite in front of you. “Yeah. Not sure actually.” You sigh, putting down your phone. “I can leave.” You wait a few seconds, weighing the options in front of you. Being alone to sit in your thoughts, or spend a few minutes – even if it’s a few – with Jensen Ackles. “No. No. I could actually use some company.” You lean back, showing off your four month bump a little better. “No husband with you?” he pulls out a chair and sit with you. “No husband.” You look up at him with a smile, but in a second he can tell how fake your smile is. “Uh oh. Someone in the dog house?” “No. I actually don’t have a husband. He didn’t think his daughters or I were good enough for him.” He let’s out a loud exhale. “Shit. I’m sorry I – ” “It’s okay. I’ve had about three months to get used to the idea of single parenting.” You rub your stomach a few times and accept the cup of sprite, taking a long sip. “How far along are you?” He leans back and takes a drag of his beer and puts the bottle down. “Four months.” “Damn, what an asshole.” You laugh and tap your cup to his glass. “Can’t say I disagree. But enough about me, what are you doing here of all places?” “It’s small, quiet. Good drinks. Pretty company.” You scoff, trying to wave him off. “No. I’m serious. You’re pretty. And the company I’d rather have.” “What, Jared not pretty enough?” you laugh. “Yeah, he’s okay. But again, you’re prettier.” “Well,” you motion to the empty booth and table you were at. “I am so busy. So, I don’t know how much attention I’ll pay to you.” “Okay, so you’re sarcastic and sassy. Tell me, are you team Dean or team Sam? Keep you busy dodging my question.” “How do you know that I’m here for the convention?” He laughs and looks down. “I would have not asked, but you’ve got a bracelet on for the panels today. I assumed.” “Well, you know what assume spells, right?” You lean forward as much as your stomach lets you and give him a big smile. “Yeah, yeah, yeah. Seriously. Because if you’re a Sam girl, I won’t even waste my time.” “Oh no. Don’t go. I actually like you, despite your shorter stature.” You smile. “Short. Woman.” He shakes his head, but glances at you as you start to laugh. “Tell you what. You guess. I have a thirteen year old who’s obsessed with Supernatural and I let her name our new dogs. If you guess right, I’ll tell you what team I’m on.” “Only if I can see what kind of dogs they are to wager my guess.” He replies. “You just want my phone.” You counter. You don’t know where your confidence was coming. You usually had to be drunk to talk this boldly with a guy – especially Jensen. “Maybe I do. Maybe I want to give you my number.” He holds out his hand, almost expecting you to give him the phone. “Aren’t you married?” you ask. “No. I’m not. So you aren’t a rabid fan, because they obviously know I’m divorced.” “No offense Jansen,” you make it a point to mess up his name, and he smiles and shakes his head. “I’ve got three girls, one’s a teen and I’ve got one on the way. I have no time to Google you and find out all about your life. If I’m ever curious, I’ll have Harper do it.” “You have a teenager?” he asks skeptically. “How old are you?” “You know that’s like the worst thing you can ask a woman, right?” you take a sip of your drink and lean back. “Like, no one asks a girl their age. We give it to you if we’re feeling nice.” “Come on, I’m terrible at guessing.” “Fine, I’ll give you a clue. I was a senior in high school when I had my oldest.” “And she’s a teen?” he asks. You nod slowly. “Well, if she’s just in her first year of being a teen, she’d be thirteen. So I’m guessing you’re twenty–nine, thirty?” “Impressive. Low balling my age. I like.” You laugh. “You’re older?” you nod. “Thirty–one?” “Bingo. Good guessing, for being such a terrible guesser.” You tease. “Now, here’s the phone, those are my dogs on the background. Let’s see if you can guess these guys’ name.” “Well,” he pauses, and you can tell he’s typing something into your phone. You’re sure that he’s putting his number in. “I’d like to think that you’re a Dean girl, so I’m going to guess that one is at least Winchester. Baby?” “Nope. Well, one you got right, the other not so much.” “Well, the Pit Bull looks like a Winchester. Tough guy.” He laughs. “Although you are correct with the name, he’s an absolute pansy.” You reply. “Hmmmm, so I’m thinking that German shepherd is actually a girl, and your daughter named her Ellen. Or Jo.” “Nope. Not a girl. It’s a boy.” You correct. “I picked two boy dogs just because we have enough estrogen in our house.” “Okay. Okay. How about Dean?” he asks with a laugh. He takes a drink and leans back. “Not bad for being bad at guessing. The kids love calling out “Dean Winchester” and people see two dogs running towards us. Just as funny as my mom thought it’d be funny calling two of her horses Bradley and Cooper.” “You’re joking…” “I wish I were. There was a time when my family was normal. Then my daughter wanted to name the dogs, and it all went downhill from there.” He lets out a deep chuckle and sighs. “Care if I join you?” “Isn’t that what you’re already doing Jansen?” “No. I’m sitting off to the side. Can I join you in the booth?” “Ah,” you put your legs down, offering the space next to you. “I guess so.”

“Hey, we need to get you to bed. You have a panel tomorrow. Multiple panels.” You look down to your phone just in time to see it turn to 3:00 AM. “Wow, would you look at that. Time has sure passed quickly.” “Well, that’s what you get when you have good company. Thanks for keeping me company. I needed it.” “Just think, you fly out Monday. Maybe we’ll arrive the same time?” “Oh, so you’re leaving Vegas on Monday?” you ask skeptically. You still give him a smile, even though your voice gives off the tone that you don’t believe him. “Maybe. Maybe I’d be at the airport to give you a hug when you arrive. I don’t know. I like that you’re going to be in Austin.” “Austin’s a big city. I highly doubt we’ll see each other.” “You have my number,” he stands and helps you out of the booth. After throwing a large number of bills down on the table, he walks with you slowly out of the bar. “Okay, true. I’ve got your number, but you don’t want to get in the middle of my drama.” You point to your stomach and look down. “Don’t make that decision for me, please?” he stops you from walking and holds your hands in his. You let out a big sigh and smile, starting to pull away from him and head towards where your room was. “Okay, fine. Southwest, Monday night. 9:35. If you want to be there.” “See you tomorrow pretty girl,” he replies, finally letting you walk off.

“Hey, what are you up to?”

Jensen walks into your back yard and holds out his hand as you try to get up from your hammock. It was more like a large swing with a comfortable mattress and piles of pillows.

“Just enjoying the nice breeze.” You reply.

“No kids?”

“Nah. The younger girls are having a sleepover at grandma and grandpa’s while Harper is at her first sleepover. She met a few friends.”

“So you aren’t doing anything tonight?”

“Mostly lounging, maybe Netflix?” you ask. “Wanna stay? I could use some company, maybe some cuddles?”

“I’m good at cuddling.”

“Well perfect, maybe you and your musk could help me relax?” you ask looking to him.

“Well, I think I can do that for you,” he holds out his arms for you to join him as he lies down.

Even though your bump is in the way, you turn to him and put your head in the crook of his neck, comfortable to stay like that until you both were hungry and ready for dinner.

Summary: While you’re on a road trip to visit your friend, your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, leaving you no choice but to accept the help of a handsome stranger.

Word Count: 2.9k

Warnings: Heavy Dub-con, groping, fingering, slight panty kink, stranger sex, public sex.

A/N: There’s no real context about Jensen other than he drives the Impala, so you can imagine him as a regular dude with that car or as himself, whatever floats your boat. Image from @justjensenanddean. Beta by @that-crazy-drummer-chick. Let me know if y’all like it :)

All you’d wanted to do was stretch your legs and take a picture of the beautiful panoramic sky, but life had other plans. Half an hour passed as you wracked your brain and flipped through the car manual, trying to figure out why your car wouldn’t start when you’d returned from your back-road photo shoot.

With no reception or internet service, you feared you’d be stuck if no one came along soon. You’d passed a town a ways back, but it was too far to walk in the starch heat of summer.

The sound of a car approaching should have been a relief, but the sight of the black car coming over the horizon somehow left you slightly uneasy. All the paranoia of being a woman, you thought, pushing your fear out of your mind as you flagged down the driver.

The slick black car gleamed under the sun and when the door squeaked open, a tall, rugged, drop-dead-gorgeous man emerged.

“Car troubles?” he asked, and the rumble of his voice matched that of his car.

“Yeah,” you admitted. “I don’t know much about cars but the way it was shaking when I tried to start it up, I think it might be a bad spark plug?”

The stranger nodded and stepped forward, extending a large hand your way. “Let’s check it out. I’m Jensen.”

His friendly smile and attractive face put you at ease, and you shook his hand, a thrilling chill rattling your spine when his skin met yours. “Y/N.”

Jensen scratched through his thick beard and made his way to the front of your car to tinker a bit under the hood, instructing you to get in and try to start it a couple times before he closed the hood and wiped his hands on a bandana he pulled from the back pocket of his jeans.

“Not a spark plug, but not far off. It looks like your starter died in the heat. Lucky for you, there’s a little gas station and auto shop about thirty minutes North. I can drive you to pick up the part if you want.”

The thought of being in the car with this handsome stranger was exhilarating and worrying at the same time. He seemed trustworthy, but there was an unfamiliar depth to his green eyes that left you hesitant.

“Um, thank you so much for the offer. I don’t wanna take up your time, though. If you have service, can I maybe borrow your phone and call a tow truck?”

A deep, condescending laugh burst out of his chest and he shook his head in amusement. “Sweetheart, a tow truck is gonna take two hours just to get here and those shady fuckers will charge you an arm and an ass. I’m free all day and know my way around an engine. I insist.”

He gestured to his car and you reluctantly nodded, grabbing your purse and making sure your valuables were well hidden before walking around to the passenger side of his Impala. A true Texan gentleman, he opened your door for you and waited for you to settle before shutting it behind you.

When he took his place behind the wheel, a wave of unease welled in your chest: you were trapped in a car with a complete stranger in the middle of nowhere. He shot you a small, reassuring smile and peeled out onto the road, chuckling to himself at the way your hands gripped the seat and door frame as his car roared to life.

Polite smalltalk filled the space between you for a few minutes, and when the conversation lulled, the roar of the engine and the radio dulled out. The cab was weighted with tension, pulsing and undeniable as your breaths mingled in the confines of the car. Jensen’s hands gripped tightly at the wheel, freckled knuckles just shy of going white against the leather. You tried to keep your eyes to the road, but you couldn’t help but sneak glances at him, trying to take in as much of his gorgeous being as you could. His hands held your attention though, big and thick. You daydreamed of how strong they must be, how they could be dangerous or delightful, or even both at the same time.

Every bit of him looked rugged and the more you thought about the muscles bulging under his shirt and the pull of his jeans across his thighs, the warmer you got. Everything blurred around him and you quickly found yourself lost in a fever dream, imagining all the ways this man could probably ruin you.

The car slowed dramatically, snapping you out of it and setting you at high alert. Jensen smirked at your visible reaction and reached out to place a comforting hand on your thigh.

“Don’t worry, just a little pitstop at your local fruit truck. You’ll regret driving through Texas without trying Bobby’s Cherries. They’re the best you’ll ever have. Trust me.”

His hand remained on your thigh, subtle but persistent, thumb gently rubbing your skin. It was an act of reassurance at first, but the prolonged contact made your heart race and you did your best to act natural while he pulled around the trees and parked beside Bobby’s flatbed truck filled with boxes of fresh fruit.

“You’re just in time, I was about to call it for the day,” Bobby greeted as you both exited the car.

The two men exchanged respectful smiles and shook hands before Jensen introduced you and requested ‘the best cherries you have, for the lady’. Bobby grinned warmly, as if he had just the thing, and handed Jensen a green plastic box filled with dark red cherries. The older man tipped his ball cap in your direction, and soon enough, his truck rumbled onto the road, leaving you alone with Jensen once more.

He held up a pack of cigarettes and asked, “Since we’re stopped, do you mind?” With your approval, he slipped one between his lips and raised his lighter.

365 DC Comics Paper Cut-Out Villains - One Villain, Every Day, All Year…

July 31st - The Parasite 

The first villain known as The Parasite was Raymond Jensen, a low level employee at a research facility where Superman had stored hazardous materials he had collected from outer space. Wrongfully believing that the company’s payroll was hidden in a biohazard storage container, Jensen opened one and was exposed to the energies from these mysterious cosmic substances. The exposure transformed him into a purple skinned, parasitic entity. He found that touching someone enabled him to temporarily absorb their physical and mental properties. This included Superman, from whom Jensen was able to gain superhuman strength and flight. Renaming himself The Parasite, the villain would have numerous confrontations with The Man of Steel, but was later killed in battle against The Terra-Man. Following the first Crisis, Darksied orchestrated a series of events to create a new Parasite. This time it was a janitor named Rudy Jones who happened upon the extraterrestrial materials that transformed him into The Parasite. This second Parasite battled Firestorm, Superman and Supergirl. The second Parasite has been a member of The Superman Revenge Squad, The Legion of Doom and The Secret Society of Super Villains. The Rudy Jones version of The Parasite featured in the television series Smallville (portrayed by actor Brendan Fletcher) as well as the series Supergirl (where he is portrayed by actor William Mapother). The Raymond Jensen version of Parasite also appeared in Supergirl, portrayed by actor Anthony Konechny. The Jenson version of The Parasite first appeared in the pages of Action Comics #340 (1966); whereas the Rudy Jones version first appeared in Firestorm #58 (1987).

Things that make you Happy:

Traveling to new places, trying new food, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, reading, writing, bullet journaling, working on my 365 day memory book, going to concerts, hanging out with friends, movies. and sleeping etc.

What is something you’ve accomplished that you are proud of:

Getting my English degree. Its practically useless, and I actually ended up going back to school for something else and I don’t use it for the field I work in now. But still. It’s a piece of paper that I spent 4 years of my life working for and enjoyed every minute of it.

Jensen Ackles at his Family Business Brewery in Texas

Supernatural star Jensen Ackles and his family recently opened Family Business Brewing Co., outside of Austin, Texas. The brewery features a constantly changing variety of beers, ales, lagers, session IPAs, and barrel-aged stouts.

During breaks from shooting his long-running CW television show in Vancouver, alongside co-star and fellow Austin resident Jared Padalecki, he’s been extremely hands-on throughout the process. Whether he is hanging lights or helping with the design of the brewery or happily testing all of the beers, Ackles and his family have put blood, sweat, and tears into creating a spectacular 15-acre destination brewery in Dripping Springs, Texas.

Ackles owns Family Business Brewing Co. with his wife, Danneel and brother-in-law Gino Graul, and has created an amazing destination featuring not only a tantalizing mix of brews but also a stage for live music and a Southern-style food truck called Jep's Southern Roots operated by “Duck Dynasty” stars Jep and Jessica Robertson.

Jensen was born and raised north of Dallas and is a native third generation Texan. His wife Danneel was born in Louisiana. They both met in Los Angeles and ultimately moved to Austin in 2014.

I sat down with Jensen and Danneel to chat about their new venture and how they are keeping it all in the family.

What made you move to Texas?

“After my show was going for a while and we were living in L.A. we had our first child (Justice Jay)” says Jensen. “We had a heart to heart on where we wanted to raise our family, and we didn't have to be in California because I was shooting in Vancouver and I could commute pretty much anywhere. That opened up the idea of living in a different city, and then we started thinking about what cities would fit us and who we are, and Austin pretty much topped the list because it also brought our families closer to us.”

After settling in Austin for a few years, the couple had twins (Zeppelin and Arrow) in December of 2016. With Jensen’s family only 3 1/2 hours away in Dallas north and Danneel’s family five hours away in Louisiana, they felt at home in the perfect location.

How did the idea come about to start a brewery?

“The brewery started when Danneel's brother Gino moved out to California where we were living before our kids came along.” Jensen says, “After leaving the Navy, we put him up so that he could come out to California and finish school. He lived in our guest house which was great for me, because while I was away filming I had an ex-Navy brother in law living at my house protecting my family for me. It was a win-win.”

"Cut to seven years ago, a buddy of mine ("This is Us" actor Justin Hartley) was looking to store his small pilot brew systems somewhere while he moved," he adds. "We ended up storing it in a shed in our backyard and left it there for almost a year. Finally, Gino and I decided to fire the thing up and see if we could make beer since the whole craft beer industry was really growing in Southern California."

“I was adamantly against it in the beginning. I thought they were going to blow up our house,” interjects Danneel.

“Gino and I started making batches of beer in the backyard on the weekends, and just kind of really fell in love with it. We lived in Malibu and even put some of our tap at local bars. Gino ended up graduating school from Santa Monica College and then went to UC Davis taking a brewers course, and finally in Chicago where he studied at the Siebel Institute, a fantastic brewing school. That investment of his time and our investment of enjoyment into the whole craft brewery scene really started to flourish," says Jensen.

'The idea of moving to Austin came up, and we thought it would be really cool to have a little brewery that was self-sustainable and kind of a passion project." adds Jensen. "We went down to Austin to check out the craft brewing scene, and it was the right location for starting something since the market was really starting to take off. There were only a few breweries, and they were really starting to see a market increase. We all decided to move the business to Austin and then shopped around for a spot to set up shop."

"We ended up buying some land just outside of town and building from the ground up," says Danneel. "It was a little bit more of an investment as opposed to renting a place, but we decided to just kind of go all in from the beginning. Everything that has happened so far with the brewery has been very organic, and while we were looking around for places, my Uncle (who had 365 acres out in Dripping Springs), called and said the little ranch next to him with 15 acres was going up for sale. We went out there, and it was absolutely perfect, and we bought it immediately. Then our whole concept started to evolve and change, and that’s how we ended up with the destination brewery. All we originally wanted was a little tiny spot" says Danneel.

How did you come up with the name of the brewery?

"The name Family Business is a bit of a nod to the "Supernatural" fanbase because there is a famous saying on our shows, with hunting ghosts we call ourselves the family business," says Jensen.

Are you both hands on with the daily operations?

"Gino is really the boots on the ground, and he's the day to day guy, while Danneel's out there multiple times per week dealing with things. When I am in town, I visit the employees to make sure they're encouraged and know they are doing a good job. So it certainly is a family business, and we all take it very seriously, but we're all enjoying it" says Jensen.

"I have the best gig as one of the head taste testers, which is one of the reasons we started doing it in the first place because we really do enjoy the beer" he adds, "But the process is super fun and I have been able to brew multiple times with Nate Seale, our Head Brewer. The process itself is lengthy, but it's really enjoyable. Nate is like a mad scientist with the things that he creates and the ideas he comes up with. It's really fun to just kind of sit back and watch him go and lend a hand whenever he needs it."

What is your current output at the brewery?

"We are brewing at least two to three times a week," says Jensen," "We're running a 15 barrel system, and we'll do double batches into our 30 barrel fermenters. We have three 30 barrel fermenters and two 15 barrel fermenters."

Will this be in bars and stores?

"We are trying to keep it all in-house, so all of the beers are out on the property," says Danneel. "It is not beneficial to us to distribute, and we do better selling ourselves. We are also very mindful of what our brand is, and we will never be a beer that is served up and down 6th Street in Austin."

"We have quite a good name for ourselves as far as the brewer industry goes with Nate," adds Jensen, "He started at 512 Brewing Company, and he has a great name. He's really kind of elevated the quality and put us in the game as far as being a high-quality craft brewery."

Who is your customer?

"We get a lot of locals out there that live in Hill country and Lakeway, they're a fixture there, and it feels more local. I'm sure there are fans of the show that might make a little pilgrimage out there to see the brewery," says Jensen. "We have a 10,000 square foot red barn looking building, and the majority of it is the production side. We have a fairly big tasting room that opens out to an oak grove with a giant 15-foot wide wrap around porch. It's a nice open indoor-outdoor space for visitors."

What are you brewing?

"We've got brewery tours, and we generally have about 10 to 12 different styles of beer on tap," says Jensen. "We kind of let Nate go nuts. He wants to keep creating, keep innovating and trying new things by rotating tap and different kinds of beer. It's more expensive as far as materials go, but it's a great thing when people come back and enjoy the space. They won't have the same four beers lined up that they had before."

"We will always have a new beer to try on tap" he adds. "There might be three or four seasonal beers. Right now we've got a Kolsch and an IPL that's coming down the pipe that we've never had before. Nate certainly caters to the time of year. When we opened in January, we had winter warmers and some Stout's as well as really nice winter ales, and now he's moving more into spring/summer style here."

"The very first beer that we wanted to serve since the beginning was our pale ale," says Jensen. "We call it the Hamilton Pale Ale based on the nearby natural Hamilton Pool. We've got a series of IPA's that are not incredibly hoppy. We also offer a new England style IPA which is a softer bitter, and we have a white IPA and a black IPA which is really interesting."

"The ESB we have is one of my favorites, but I'm not much of an English Ale fan," says Jensen, "We've taken an English style ale and put a North American twist on it, and it's fantastic. We've got a great brown ale, but the one that gets talked about the most is our Imperial Stout. Nate knows how to make his dark beers taste amazing. We are serving the Imperial Stout as is, but we also started a barrel aging program and put the stout into whiskey barrels, and that's maturing right now, so hopefully, that will be ready after a three-six month age."

Any of your celebrity friends come to visit?

"Jared Padalecki also lives in Austin, and we do “Supernatural” together," says Jensen. "He was out there during the build out and helping us put in the walk-in cooler and tearing down some barn structures and sheds and stuff to pour concrete. Jared was friends with Jep and Jess Robertson, and they were fans of our show. They eventually came up to Vancouver and visited the set, and are really easy to get along with. Jep is an amazing cook, and they were talking about doing a food truck in Austin. They’re from Louisiana, and Danneel and Gino are from there. Now they have a food truck at the brewery. So we get really good Louisiana food to go with our Texas beer."

What's on the horizon?

"There is a beautiful old ranch house on the property that we want to convert that into a restaurant," says Danneel. "It's a beautiful old Texas style house we think will become a great restaurant." The couple is also considering adding accommodations in the future for overnight experiences.

Sunday Walk of Shame

365 Days of Jensen - Day 2 Jensen X Reader (eventual) Words 900+

A/N: reviving my 365 days of Jensen series - and reediting it since tumblr was a jerk..

It was after 3:15 by the time you had made it back to your room. You were alone, so you walked slower, stopping a few times along the way.

After finding out you were alone; both Kori, Allison, David and Toula offered to let you sleep with them. They both had a pull out bed, and even though you probably should’ve had your own bed, you didn’t want to be alone. You were able to make it past Allison and Kori sleeping, and fall to sleep quickly. Five hours later, Kori’s alarm quickly sounded in the dark, only five hours later. You and Jensen had already been up an hour talking.

“Well, look who decided to join us.” Allison laughs as she sits up, noticing you awake in bed. “When did you walk the walk of shame?” “Five hours ago.” You reply with a groan. “And?” Kori stands and sits at the foot of your bed. “Wouldn’t believe me if I told you.” You pull the sheets off, and you’re still in the jeans that you wore the day before. “You’re still in your clothes (Y/N). Spill.” Allison replies. “God, you are so bossy. I took a break at a bar and got a burger and soda, and Jensen saw me. I talked most of the night with Jensen.” “Bull. Shit.” She lets out a laugh when you don’t waver. “Really?” “Seriously. I even have his number.” You reply, waving your phone. “I’m talking to him right now.” “Oh. My. God.” Allison yells, launching herself out of bed and to you. She nearly yanks the phone out of your hand and looks to the messages. “You’ve got to be kidding me. He’s texting you back. Oh. My. God.”

“Babe, you’re into girls. This shouldn’t matter to you,” Kori replies. “Yeah, I know.” She scoffs. “But (Y/N/N) is my oldest friend Kor, she needs a guy that isn’t an ass. Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to say that your best friend is dating the Jensen Ackles?” “Yeah. Sure. I guess so,” Kori replies. “Any way,” you snatch the phone from her hand in time for the message to appear. “It was one night, I highly doubt he’ll want to deal with all my issues.” “I’m gonna say whatever, and call your bullshit what it is. Bull shit.” Allison stands and walks towards the bathroom. “Come on, we need to get ready.” “I don’t have a ticket for the gold panel. I have to wait until the regular panel.” “Oh, didn’t we tell you? David has to do a few things this morning for work. He’s giving you his ticket. For both panels actually.” You let out a sigh and stand quickly, rushing to your bag to get ready.

Jensen’s POV: “I knew you got in really late, what the hell?” Jared laughs as he wakes up to see you in bed, when you hadn’t been there when he went to sleep. “Yeah,” you ignore him as (Y/N) finally responds to you with a good morning. “JENSEN.” Jared clears his throat, and you look up finally. “Thank you.” “Yeah. What?” he asks, looking up. “You got in super late, you’re still in your same clothes and you are grinning like an idiot at your phone. What the fuck dude?” You laugh and put your phone in your lap after answering her. “I had a good night last night.” “Obviously,” he shakes his head and stands. “Care to share the details?” “Um, I met a really pretty girl?” you reply, trying to not say much. “So you were, you know,” he thrusts his hips a few times, and you roll your eyes. “No. She’s pregnant. I don’t think you can have sex when they’re that pregnant.” “She’s pregnant? Is she married?” “No, I’m not that kind of person Jared.” You get up and walk to your suitcase, pulling it open. You go to unbutton your shirt, but realize that you had given your button up to (Y/N). “But you’re the person to give your shirt to a pregnant, single lady? What do you know about her?” “First off, she was cold. Secondly. Enough that I’ve seen while stalking her on twitter and Instagram, and talking until three in the morning,” you pause, pulling your shirt over your head. “And she let me give her my number.” “Just be…” “Yes, be cautious. I know Jare. I’m a big boy.” “I know you are, but anyway. What’s the chance you meet up with her again after today?” “Well, she’s actually moving to Austin. With her girls.” “Her girls?” he asks. “Come on Jack, that’s a lot to walk in to.” “Thank you Einstein, I appreciate your concern, but I’m going to stop you right there bud. She’s nice, she’s fun. I’m a big boy, I can handle it. We don’t know where it’s going to end. I just want to go with the flow. You grab your towel and walk in to the bathroom before Jared can even do or say anything.

Your POV: After a long morning of both panels, and wandering around the vendor room, you were ready for your photo ops, and then you were definitely ready to sleep until you flew out of McKarran. After thinking about it, you had decided to fly out as soon as you could on Monday, and not drive in your condition. Your photo op with Jensen was great. After telling you to keep his button up, and getting a ton of reactions from people around you, you waited to meet Jared. And he was almost expecting you. After a big hug, he smiled and left you with a statement that left you super confused – “if Jensen is going to give you a chance, I will too.”
