Chapter 3
“Bro…Lewis is going to kill us.” Hayes said, pacing the living room. “We lost his favorite omega.”
“We didn’t lose her… she escaped.” Milo corrected.
“And how do we tell him that? He’s going to want to know how she could have possibly escaped.”
Milo didn’t say anything. Truth was…. Alpha Lewis had no idea they played a little hunting game with you when he was away. They knew he wouldn’t allow it for multiple reasons.
One - He wouldn’t want them playing with his favorite plaything
Two - She could learn the terrain and plan an escape
Three - She could be seen or found by another pack
So it was their little secret. And when he came home to find you more bruised and injured than when he left for the first time, they just said they got pissed off when you didn’t listen to their demands and punished you. Lewis just laughed and didn’t say more.
“He’s going to call any minute. And when he does, he’s going to expect everything to be normal here.” Hayes complains, annoyed with his little brother’s lack of care.
“So tell him it is… You’re an alpha too. Give us time to find her before he comes back.” Milo shrugs.
“He sees right through my lies. Plus she could be dead somewhere in those damn woods because you had the bright fucking idea to use cobalt.”
“Dude…it was a low dose. We wait until daylight and go looking for her. She won’t be dead by then.”
“Did you forget we also used silver pellets?”
“She’ll be fine. She’s like a cockroach.” Milo walked off, brushing off his worries.
Hayes didn’t like the idea of waiting till morning, but he didn’t say anything more. Honestly, he would be happy to rid himself of the omegas, but he knew every pack needed at least one. Having three made them stronger - or at least that’s what Lewis always says.
It was morning when your sedative wore off. You were sleeping… and you were actually comfortable and resting well for once. You didn’t want to wake up, but your mind had other ideas. You realized the foreign smell of the air you were breathing and slowly opened your eyes. Blinking slowly, you took in the room. The fluorescent lights were blinding so you shaded your eyes. Wincing, you look at the bruises on your arm then notice the blanket covering you. You haven’t had a blanket since you were a kid.
You caressed the soft, fuzzy texture and smiled to yourself. You should take this with you when you run. But you didn’t want to piss off whoever lived here by stealing. So you pushed off the blanket, gingerly climbing from the bed. You notice a clear bag hanging from a pole, wondering what was inside it that seemed to be feeding into your arm.
What if it’s some kind of sedative… Or poison!? You thought and, in a panic, snatched the needle from your arm.
Looking around the room, it reminded you of the exam rooms from your childhood. There were cabinets full of supplies, counters, a padlocked cabinet labeled ‘MEDICINE’, a fridge, and two doors - one labeled ‘CLOSET’ and the other labeled ‘BATHROOM’. There was a final door that was unmarked, so you assumed it was the exit.
There was no one in the room with you so maybe you could sneak out of this place before they realize you’re awake. Not that you have anywhere to go. The last place you want to go is back to the Nyko pack, but these packs were worse and would kill you without hesitation. Or so the Nykos led you to believe.
Your feet ached, although not as bad as last night, as you padded over to the door. Carefully and quietly, you twist the knob. Opening the door slowly, you take in the grand room. It was a spacious living room with a brown and tan color scheme. It was so clean and organized but also gave you a cozy feeling. As you step out into the room and walk forward, you instinctively reach your hand out to touch the leather sofa. It was soft and without any holes or tears.
Must be brand new…rich people. You thought with an eye roll.
It was well lit, the light pouring in from large windows and double doors on the left wall. You could see the yard lined with trees through the windows and you wondered if it stretched to the forest you were running in. Suddenly all the memories of last night came rushing back. The brothers hunting you, the sting of the pellets, the rough ground beneath your feet…
“Morning. Glad to see you awake.” Felix spoke quietly so as to not scare you.
But he did. You jumped and he raised his hands up in innocence.
“It’s okay. You’re safe here.” His voice was warm and calming, but you knew not to fall for it.
He had shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes…so so blue. And cute freckles dusted his cheeks. Catching the spiral of your thoughts, you look away and ignore the little voice in your head that wants to trust him. You steal a glance at the door, gauging how far away it was and if he would catch you before you could open it. He definitely would if it was locked.
“Please don’t run. We don’t want to hurt you. You need to rest and heal.” he spoke, taking a cautious step toward you.
You growled, flinching away.
“It’s okay. I just want to help you. Can I at least know your name?” He smiled at you.
The smile was pretty and made you- FOCUS. He’s the enemy.
Suddenly the doors opened and in walked a rather buff young man. He was sweating and panting as he sipped some water. He stopped dead in his tracks when he laid eyes on.
“Wow..I-” he shook his head. “Hi. I’m Changbin.”
He smiled at you but you didn’t notice, instead looking back at the double doors. It definitely wasn’t locked now. You bolted for the door, ignoring your body’s painful protest of the strenuous activity.
“Oops…my bad.” Changbin muttered.
Felix rolled his eyes before running after you.
You ran as hard as you could, the territory was unfamiliar and you didn’t know where you were going. Your feet hurt so bad and you wanted to stop. Looking back, you could no longer see the house. No one was behind you either. So you slowed, stopping to catch your breath. You immediately fell to the ground, panting.
“We need to get you in shape.” another voice spoke.
You looked up, eyes wide as you took in the man in front of you. It was the alpha - Alpha Chan. You immediately ducked your head and prayed for a quick death.
Chan stepped closer to you and squatted in front of you. He tilted his head as he studied you but you refused to look at him. You breathed heavily, your lungs burning as you anticipated his wrath. But nothing came as the silence hung heavy over the two of you.
“I’m Chan. And I’m guessing you can tell I’m the Alpha? My pack brought you here when they found you injured. We just want to help you…. What’s your name?” Chan tried. Wow this was going to be a challenge for him - he wasn’t exactly known for his patience.
You said nothing.
“Would you please come back and have some breakfast at least. We have a whole spread.” Chan pleaded with you, holding out a hand.
“There you are.” the young blonde from before came up behind you.
Feeling cornered… you scurried off to the side. Chan glared at him for scaring you, making him lower his head. But he moved closer regardless and spoke in a low voice as he knelt down to your level.
“Please come eat with us.”
You felt a bit calmer and you knew it was probably the Alpha making you feel this way with his stupid pheromones.
Maybe just one meal. And then I’ll be strong enough to run away. You thought. Your stomach growled loudly at the thought of food and you cursed its timing.
“Please come with us.” Alpha Chan broke the silence.
You dared to look up at them before a quick nod as you looked back to the ground.
“Great.” Chan stood and held out a hand once more.
You didn’t take it and tried to stand on your own. Your muscles ached and protested but you pushed through. Chan clenched his jaw, watching you wince but he gave you your space. He led the way back to their house and you followed.
“My name’s Felix.” the blonde spoke as he walked next to you.
You stole a glance at him and his smile was infectious - so infectious your lips turned up into a small smile as you looked back at the ground.
How are anyone’s eyes that deep of a blue?
Arriving back at the house, you realize how big it actually is, taking in the full backside. There were three levels to the craftsman style. The stone and brown siding made it so warm and inviting.
You walked back through the double doors and the two led you up a set of stairs you didn’t notice before. On the main level was the kitchen with an open floor plan to the dining area and living room. A large stone fireplace with a huge flat screen was on the far wall. On either side of the fireplace were windows that stretched up to the vaulted ceiling, illuminating the room and making it feel massive. The view outside was gorgeous. The yard, the trees, and the mountain range were breathtaking.
There was a staircase leading upstairs behind you, with rod iron railing that curved towards the front door. It was a large door with frosted glass in the top half.
“This way.” Felix pulled your attention away and gestured towards the kitchen.
You turned to his direction and followed after him. The kitchen was bustling with people - too many people. You froze as all their smells mingled in the air and clouded your nose. There were too many different smells to differentiate but they all smelt so…good. It was intoxicating to say the least. None of the Nykos smelled like this.
“Alright, everyone listen up.” Chan said, clapping his hands to get everyone’s attention. “We have a new house guest staying with us. So please treat her with kindness and patience. Keep the volume down and behave.”
Your cheeks flushed red as everyone turned to look at you. A few gasps were heard as everyone stared. You looked down, avoiding their gazes.
“Stop staring.” Felix insisted, and they all were quick to resume what they were doing.
You wondered how long the show would last before their true selves would be revealed. But you were hungry so you would entertain them for now.
“Hey. Sorry if I startled you earlier.” one of the boys approached you. You remembered he was the one who opened the door - Changbin.
You looked down and twiddled your fingers.
“Let’s get you some food, yeah?” Changbin suggested.
You gave a nod and followed him over to the counter. There was an array of food laid out on the island - anything you could possibly want was there. Two of the boys moved out of the way so you could go first. Changbin handed you a plate and you took it, tapping your nails on the underside as you figured out what to pick first.
Changbin reached for some eggs, waffles and fruit as you watched. Well if they were eating the food, it wasn’t poisoned. You reached for a pancake and placed it on your plate. You then put a bit of eggs and two pieces of sausage as well.
“That’s all you want?” Changbin questioned, looking worried.
You put a few strawberries on your plate and then stepped back. He chuckled at you but didn’t say anything else. After he piled food on his plate, having a little bit of everything, he led you to the dining table. You sat on the end next to him.
“What would you like to drink?” Changbin asked.
Looking at the table, you noticed two staring at you. They weren’t eating their food, just looking at you. One had full cheeks and smiled at you. The other had a slimmer face, and black hair with brown highlights. He just stared at you like a deer in headlights. You look back at your plate when a hand rests on your shoulder.
You flinch, nearly falling out of your chair.
“Whoa…relax. It’s just me.” Changbin explained as if that was supposed to make you feel better. “I just wanted to know what you wanted to drink.”
You blush as the others stare at you, looking down. Changbin’s heart dropped as he felt guilty and unsure what to do. Felix came over with a cup of yellow liquid and a cup of water, placing them both next to your plate. Everyone went back to chatting and eating as you sat there.
Taking in the scents in the room around you, you realized you were surrounded by betas. Betas…and one alpha. But Chan wasn’t in the room. Great…. There was another alpha in his pack too. You swallowed hard, finally reaching for some of the food on your plate as you hoped he wouldn’t be another Hayes.
You ate the pancake and eggs, one sausage and the strawberries. The strawberries were amazing. You had never had them before, having only been fed bread and bones with slivers of meat on them. Occasionally porridge-like food was given, but not often. Strawberries were a delicacy you hadn’t had the pleasure of eating, until now.
Upstairs, Chan was in his room with Minho. The two of them whispering about you as Chan explained what happened last night to his right hand.
“She’s gotta be from Nyko. No one else is that cruel around here.” Chan noted.
Minho just nodded.
“Minho? Are you listening?”
“Yes.” He rolled his eyes. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to keep her though.”
“Why not?”
“We have an agreement with Nyko. If they find out we stole their Omega, do you really think they won’t null the agreement and try to overthrow us? We don’t have the numbers to fight them.”
“Did you miss the part where she’s my soulmate? AND Felix’s?”
“I heard that. I’m just saying…”
“We might not even need the numbers if we have her. You know having an omega in the pack, especially a bonded one, makes the pack stronger.”
“And you’re going to take the risk to bond with her?”
Chan didn’t say anything.
“Right. You know marking over a previous mark could kill the omega. She could sub drop.”
“I’m aware, Minho.” Chan rolled his eyes. “But I can’t send her back to be abused and neglected. I won’t.”
“I’m hungry.” Minho stood. “Let’s go meet this girl.”
“You going to eat that?” one of the guys asked you from across the table, gesturing at your sausage.
“Seungmin…let the girl eat. She needs it more than you.” Changbin scolded, mouth full of food.
“Not my fault Hyunjin ate the rest.” Seungmin pouted.
You pushed the plate towards him, too full to finish anyways.
“Really? Thanks!” He smiled, taking the sausage and eating it. “At least she’s nice.”
Changbin glared at him.
Amongst the scents in the air, the smell of musk and teakwood, with a hint of honey filled the air. You realized it was Chan returning from wherever he disappeared to. You watched as he fixed a plate, another new face coming behind him and doing the same. He wasn’t in here earlier and - oh. He was staring at you.
It was a harsh stare. Almost like he was studying you. Or that he didn’t want you here. You sunk in your chair, his smell hitting you too. It was earthy, but like an expensive men’s cologne. It had a crisp, clean smell to it as well. He was also an alpha. There were three?!
Suddenly he put his plate down and stormed out. Chan looked his way, furrowing his brow. Everyone stopped talking and watched him go downstairs. Chan was quick to follow after him, leaving everyone clueless as to what just happened.
You took a small sip of the yellow liquid and your eyes widened.
“Never had orange juice before?” Felix asked.
You shook your head, taking another sip. He looked at you with sad eyes, exchanging glances with Changbin. Not that you noticed, finishing off the juice.
The doorbell rang, startling you. You watched as the full cheeked member got up from the table and went to answer the front door. He returned shortly after with a familiar face. It was the lady you saw last night in the room downstairs. You knew she was here for you so you sank into the chair. She stood behind Seungmin after stealing a piece of bacon from the island.
“Morning everyone.” She greeted.
“Morning.” the pack all answered.
“Glad to see you mingling and eating today.” She was talking to you.
You looked at the table of boys, wanting to flee. They all smiled encouragingly at you and you didn’t know what to do.
“This is Doctor Quinn. She’s our on-call doctor for extreme situations. Pretty much anything Felix can’t handle.” Changbin informed you.
“Why don’t we get you looked at downstairs. I would like to see how you’re healing.” Quinn stated.
“Want me to come with?” Felix offered, looking at you.
You nodded.
Felix stood, clearing his dishes. You followed, standing and reaching for your plate.
“I got it. Go ahead.” Changbin reached for the plate in your hand.
You let him take it as you followed Doctor Quinn and Felix to the basement. Once you got down there, you saw Chan and the other on the couch. He wouldn’t look at you, but Chan smiled in your direction.
“Morning Chan. Morning Minho.” Doctor Quinn cheered.
“Morning.” Chan greeted warmly.
“Morning.” Minho mumbled.
You stepped into the room, seeing where you woke up. The walls felt like they were closing in on you and you backed up. The door shut behind you and you whipped around to see Felix had closed it.
“What’s wrong?” Felix asked. “I can open it. Want me to leave it open?”
You nod, not wanting to be trapped in here.
“Okay. Sure.” Felix was quick to reopen the door, leaving it wide open.
You turn to the doctor and she gestures you to the bed. She had adjusted it to be more of a chair now so you sat. She came over to you with gloved hands and reached for your arm. You flinched away.
“It’s alright. I just wanna look at how you’re healing.” Doctor Quinn explained.
You relax a bit and allow her to take your arm, twisting it to look at all the nearly healed wounds. She did the same with your other arm before asking you to sit forward. You did and she raised your shirt to look at your torso.
You found yourself looking to Felix as if for reassurance that you were safe. He smiled at you the whole time, looking away when the doctor raised your shirt. No one has ever shown you that much decency…or any.
“Well, you’re healing very nicely. I don’t think any of them will scar.” Doctor Quinn assured you.
She unwrapped the metal thing around her neck and you tensed. If your childhood memories of doctors were correct, it was just a stethoscope and shouldn’t hurt. So you let her put it to your chest and breathed as she requested while Felix wrapped something around your arm. He grabbed his own stethoscope and put it to your inner elbow.
You watched him intently as he squeezed a black balloon. The thing around your arm tightened and you looked down at it.
“It’s just to measure your blood pressure. It just squeezes your arm.” Doctor Quinn reassured.
Felix listened intently before informing Doctor Quinn of your blood pressure.
“Vitals look good. I would say you are pretty healthy.” She smiled. “I should have taken blood while you were unconscious. Next time.”
You look to Felix and he just smiles at you.
“Felix, do you think you could give us a second?” Doctor Quinn asks.
“Sure.” I’ll be outside.” Felix nods before leaving.
A small whimper escaped your mouth.
“It’s alright. I just wanted to ask a few questions. Thought it might be easier without any of them around.”
You began to panic. What did she know? What did she want to know?
“Can you tell me your name?”
You say nothing. Afraid if they knew your name, they would send you back.
“I want to help you. This pack is good people. They will keep you safe and protect you. You have my word.” She begins. “You’re from the Nyko pack, aren’t you?”
You swallow thickly.
“I don’t work for them. There’s a few packs I help and none of them support the Nyko pack. That Lewis is an asshole. I would never help them. Which means I wouldn’t tell anyone you’re here. You’re safe.”
You mull over her words. Maybe other packs weren’t the problem. You wouldn’t put it past the Nykos to lie and scare you. So maybe they did just that…and this pack wasn’t as evil as he made them out to be. Maybe you wouldn’t have to run away. Maybe…just maybe you found a place to stay.
“Y/n…” you whisper. “My name is y/n.”

┊┊┊✧ ⁺ ⁺╚══ Kimetsu Daddies: Vol.1 ╝
Premise: Everyone has insecurities and parenting can certainly bring even more to the plate. Taking a trip to memory lane to the first days of his fatherhood journey makes Sanemi realize maybe he isn't half bad himself.
Word Count: 3639
Note: This is a prequel of sorts for my previous story "Liquid Sunshine" (which you can read here if you haven't yet), starting right after bonus chapter 2, but this is also the beginning of a new series as you might have guessed by the title change, lol. My love @huh01011 requested some smut to be added to this series, I must warn you all, I am not a smut writer, and there's not as much in it as I wanted it to be, but I tried to incorporate some in a way~ Also tagging pookie @cock-ainee who wanted to be tagged here ❤️
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Summer was a dreaded season in the Shinazugawa household.
The excessive moisture in the air made almost impossible to work the fields for the younger lads adding even more load to the already overworked Sanemi.
Sanehiko, who could stand such temperatures, was the only one able to aid his father with the animals and the fields as his beloved mother was feeling under the weather.
The last few weeks had been odd. After having such an eye opening conversation with the children, your mood had been sour, making Sanemi feel he had done something wrong.
Dealing with so many little ones, he assumed you were just a bit overwhelmed, baby Sae was still a very demanding baby and Senri, who just started walking on his own, has been climbing trees and running around like a madman, plenty of reasons to be a bit grouchy.
But that was far from reality.
“Sanehiko, where’s your mother?” Sanemi asked his eldest as he hauled the entire harvest of tomatoes on his back.
“Last time I saw her, she was cleaning her own puke near the bath.”
The sound of exploding tomatoes hitting the scorching hot ground made Sanehiko shudder at the thought of the lost produce, “WHAT? She was doing WHAT?”
“Ugh…she was…” the boy stuttered, his mother wont be pleased knowing some of the tomatoes were squashed down by his father’s annoyance and it was most definitely his fault…”She was…ummm…on the floor? Yes, she was on the floor, with a rag cleaning after her…” he smiled proudly, able to recount the facts with as much details as possible without sounding so aggravating.
“Why was she on the floor Sanehiko? Is your mother sick?” panic was written all over Sanemi’s face, if there’s something that terrifies him is the thought of ever loosing you.
Thinking back, Sanehiko realizes he isn’t even sure why his mother was in such predicament, making him feel worse for not stopping to help her, “Not sure father, Genma is the one in charge of mother…I had to come get the milk out on time…”
“Tch, bring the tomatoes inside.” without a second thought, Sanemi marched back inside the house, in search of his darling wife who seemed to be feeling even worse than he thought.
When he found you, Genma was rubbing your belly in soothing circles while you clutched a pillow close to your face, “Hey, my love…what’s wrong…?” his tone of voice was laced with honey, he hated seeing you in distress and he knew you’ve been struggling lately.
“Nemi…” your voice was so weak almost a whisper, he could barely hear you.
“Yes, baby tell me…” holding your hand, he crouched down beside you, giving your knuckles an adoring kiss.
“I-…another one is coming…”
“What do you mean, babe?” realization hit him hard, your pale face, the morning discomfort, lack of appetite, uncomfortable nights…”Oh….OH?…you’re pregnant again, my love??” his eyes went from imminent despair to happiness overload in a mater of seconds, making you chuckle.
“I think so yeah, pretty sure actually, Nemi…isn’t it too fast…? I…I honestly thought Sae would be the last one…at least for a while...”
“Do you not feel comfortable having more children, baby?” sadness could be heard in his voice, but he would respect your wishes, no matter what they were.
“It’s not that, my love…it’s just…my body is still tired, Sae is still breastfeeding, I guess this time is really taking a toll on me, that’s all. Of course I want to bring your babies to this world.” your gentle reassurance brought him back to life, you were all that mattered to him, his entire life, a gift he had been given, one he would protect at all cost.
Forgetting his tiny son was around is one of Sanemi’s traits now a days, Genma was listening to the entire thing, mauling things over in his little head silently while you held each other, his sister however, had been hiding under the window seal, also listening.
“Mama, what’s pr’gnant?” Remi climbed her way into the room through the window, quickly sitting beside Genma.
“It’s when mommy has a baby inside of her, angel.”
Genma gasped loudly, “You did this to her, didn’t you father?! That night! I knew it, you hurt her!”
“No, no baby. Your father didn’t hurt me…he gave us another member of our family, it’s just…you know summer is tough on me, my love, having a baby inside is harder at the beginning, I’ll be ok in a few weeks, I promise.”
Sanemi was speechless, he couldn’t believe his son kept insisting on him hurting you, like if that was actually a thing, he was incapable of hurting a single hair of your head and he would have thought his own son would know this.
“But mother! You shouldn’t have to be this sick! We are already so many in this house! I don’t want you to be sick! Please stop putting babies inside of her, father!” the toddler started wailing, his sister not completely understanding why he was in such distress, hugged him gently. “Mama is ok, nii-nii, don’t cry…”
Sanehiko came into the room when he heard his brother crying, Sae sleeping on his back while Senri was holding his hand, “Genma? What’s wrong?”
“Mama ate a baby and he’s sad…”
“She what?” this time Senri was the one who started crying, his sister’s words scaring the hell out of him.
“I’m pregnant again, love. That’s all.”
“Oh yeah, I thought so. We heard you after all, that’s just how it works, right father?” Sanemi just nodded absentmindedly, while he was happy with the news, he started questioning his fathering skills lately. Genma clearly doesn’t trust him and even thinks he’s capable of hurting his mother, what could possibly led him to think that way? Was he a good father even? He knows he’s strict, having to provide for such a large family isn’t easy, discipline is needed, but he loves his children and he thought they knew it…
Getting up from his spot beside you without saying a word, he walked outside of the house and up a small hill he goes to when he needs to think. Contemplating his own mistakes was more daunting that he ever imagined, memories of Genma’s constant terrified face hunting him.
Sanehiko left the babies in your care and ran after his dad, “Father, are you ok? Mother looked worried…Is the baby sick?”
“No…no, the baby is fine…is your brother who worries me..”
“You mean Genma? Or Senri?” he plopped beside his dad, both had the exact same pose, legs crossed, a half scowl on their faces, it was like seeing himself in a mirror, just that without scars.
“Genma…”
Nodding, Sanehiko let out a sigh, he understands his dad’s predicament, Genma isn’t a difficult kid, he is actually quite a sunshine, but he is obsessed with his own mother and that makes Sanemi’s odds against him most of the times.
“He stopped crying already, father. It’s not that he doesn’t want another sibling, he just doesn’t like it when mother is sick. This time she really is in bad shape though, is it the heat again?”
“Yeah…heat has always been hard on her, specially when she’s in her first trimester…” that made Sanehiko think, none of his siblings had been in that part of pregnancy during summer, not that he can remember at least. “Really? Was it Genma?”
“No, it was you actually…” the memory of you throwing your guts out of the window during summer nights made a faint smile grace his lips.
“Was I a difficult baby, father?” Sanemi’s smile just kept growing with the memories, “Not at all, you were the quietest of all, a true gift…”
Sanehiko had never seen his father this soft before, it felt oddly comforting knowing he was talking about him just now. “Did I give mother a hard time then? I feel like we’ve never talked about this before…”
It was crazy, but true. Having to run a farm kept you both very busy and the more babies came, the harder its been to just sit down with your eldest and have a nice chat.
“We were young and inexperienced when you came to this world. For the longest time we thought you were a virus because she couldn’t eat a single thing without puking…” a soft chuckle left his lips as he remembers those sleepless nights of him rubbing your back until you could fall asleep on his lap, holding you while the moon shone above you, illuminating your beautiful face. Those days were quiet, nothing like the ones you have today, and honestly, he kind of misses them. Having you all to himself all day, all night…the intimacy and love remains, but there’s limitations to what he can or cannot do now.
Sanehiko chuckled along shaking his head, a clear image of his mother being painted by his father. “How did you guys know it was me and not a virus then?”
“Hmmmm…after a lot of arguing, I threw your mother over my shoulder and took her to see the doctor downtown, she wasn’t eating and it was making me anxious…”
“You're just like Genma, father.”
“Huh? What do you mean just like Genma? He’s the least similar to me from all your siblings.”
He shook his head, smiling “He’s just like you, father. Mother yawns and one of you is right by her side with a blanket, she coughs and there’s fresh tea in front of her in seconds. She makes a slight noise and the entire house is checking on her, those are the Shinazugawa genes, father, they come from you.”
Maybe he was right, maybe he and Genma had more in common that he thought, getting the child to see that would be harder though.
“So, you took mother to the doctor. What’d he say?” this is the first time Sanehiko has story time with his father since he’s a little kid, it made him feel fuzzy inside and wanted to hear more of his upbringing.
Sanemi seeing his interest, turned to face him with a grin on his face, “Then he tells us she isn’t sick but round and full with our first child. I still remember that day like it was yesterday, man was I happy…”
“You were happy because I was inside of mother?” he wasn’t expecting to hear that, while he knows his father loves getting his mother pregnant, he isn’t one to celebrate or smile like that.
“Of course! There was nothing I wanted more back then than to see your mother stuffed full with my child. I can’t expect you to understand this yet, but there is nothing better than knowing a piece of you lives inside the woman you love…”
“A piece of you…am I a piece of you, father?”
“Damn straight you are, son. Half of me, half of your beautiful mother, the result of our never ending love…”
“I’m the result of your love…” Sanehiko has never felt this loved before, his parents are usually very caring and understanding, but hearing his stoic father saying such a thing made his eyes fill up with tears.
“You really love mother, don’t you father?”
“More than I could ever thought possible, son…” Sanemi’s smile was pure, soft, love could be felt from the air around him, it was palpable.
“And…us?” while he was scared of asking, he knew his father loved him, yet somehow he needed validation.
“I love every single one of you with all my heart. Even when it doesn’t seem like it.”
Sanehiko scooted closer, wrapping his arms around his father in a way to comfort his aching heart, “We know you do.” resting his cheek on his son’s fluffy hair, they stay there in silence, until you called out for your eldest for help.
Sanemi decided to stay a little longer contemplating life once more.
Thinking about the days when you two were younger and so very much in love brought a permanent smile to his face.
Sanehiko’s arrival was indeed the peak of his lifetime.
When you agreed to let him move with you to the farm for good, it took just a couple of hours before he had you pinned to the bathroom wall, this time without clothes in between, marks of his passion for you littering your beautiful silky skin, those gorgeous lips parted for him and screaming his name as he rammed into you nonstop, quite the memory really.
And it continued for a while, every day and night the growing needs to posses you, to fill you up with his essence, was overbearing. He needed the world to see you were claimed, to see you were his and his alone, that every single bit of skin on that beautiful body of yours was his, that your heart and all your love within it was exclusively just for him.
Memories of your face contouring with pleasure as he sucked on your perfect perky breasts like it was his last meal, the screams leaving your pretty lips and carrying his name through the wind every time he pushed himself within you as deep as he could and then some. The heat inside of you squeezing him dry, then making him hard once again at how good it felt to have you cum around his aching manhood, at how tightly you clenched around him with your core, holding onto him like if your life depended on it. He truly misses those days when his name echoed in every single wall of the house, your melodic moans and the sound of your heavy breathing all that could be heard for miles.
But when he held his first child in his arms, his world got upside down. He just didn’t know what to do with himself.
While he had witnessed all the birthing of his siblings, he had never felt such a bond before. The way Sanehiko’s eyes were barely open, how he held to his large manly thumb for dear life and hugged it to sleep, how he would snuggle on his chest and just lay there for hours just changed him.
You were his angel, his wife, the woman he loved from almost the moment he met you. A true gift from the heavens, but this baby…this little human in his arms….he was the outcome of your passion, of your fierce love for one another, he held all your dreams, your future, this tiny little thing who fit in his palm was the reason you both lived to that day, he was your anchor, the very core of your family, your reason to get up every day and make a living out of that devastated farm.
Sanehiko meant hope, joy, love. His first child, the one he so wished to have, his pride.
While he thought you’d be pregnant right after Sanehiko was born, because being real, he had his way between your legs daily; Genma didn’t come for a while.
You had time to bond with your first child, get to know him, play with him, teach him how to tend the animals. Being a parent isn’t easy, a first born gets to experience all the ‘firsts’ after all, but overall the learning experience helped you both create patterns for the future babes. While none of the kids were alike, at least it gave you a foundation already stablished to raise your children, and it worked quite well. Until lately, that is.
The heat was finally dimming down a little signalizing the day was coming to an end, the need to check on you being more significant than the dread he felt of facing Genma.
Heading inside the house he noticed Sanehiko was reading a story to the younger kids, Remi being already asleep on his leg. The sight made him smile, memories of little newborn Sanehiko still fresh in his mind.
In your room, Genma was still looking a bit sulky but you looked way better, lunch already gone from your system.
“Hey beautiful…felling better?” he wrapped his arms around your waist from behind, burying his face in the crook of your neck. You’re normally not as physically affectionate in front of the children, but you could feel your man needing comfort.
“I am, baby. Don’t worry, our child is going to be as healthy as the rest, of that I’m sure. You know the heat hunts me when I’m pregnant…” your soft giggles made him smile, “Yeah I was telling Sanehiko that story earlier, how you’d puke every night and could only sleep on my lap…” his smile turned to a smirk, his lips finding your neck to give it a little nip.
“Mmmmm yeah…good old times…we need to time babies better so I never have to spend another first trimester in summer again though…” groaning you turned your head to bury your face in his soft hair, his natural scent was just so comforting, it made you feel better almost immediately.
“Yeah, I’m sorry baby, I didn’t mean to…” his soft tone and apology startled Genma, he’s rarely ever heard his father saying his sorry for anything, let alone be this gentle.
“I’m just as guilty of this as you are, my love. You don’t need to apologize. On the contrary, thank you for giving me another treasure…” the feeling of your soft nose buried in his hair was making him feel so emotional. Earlier he had felt like he sucked at being a parent but after bonding over it with Sanehiko and reminiscing of the time he was born, he just feels so complete…
“Thank you, babe…without you…I wouldn’t….I…I don’t know what I’d do or where I’d be without you…” his words were chocked up, Genma was still in shock, he could feel the emotional state of his broken father filling up the air.
“Father…are you ok…?” Genma held onto Sanemi’s leg, hugging it with his tiny body. It’s been a while since he feels his toddler’s warmth.
“I am son, thank you for asking.”
“Father…I’m sorry I yelled at you earlier, I don’t understand this baby thing very well…but I know you wouldn’t hurt mother now…” Sanemi’s heart grew three sizes, he didn’t know he needed to hear this so badly, but turns out he did.
“You know? Sanehiko told me earlier that you’re very similar to me…that your obsession with your mother is all my fault for being your father…” that made you laugh, while it is true, it’s kind of ridiculous.
“You two are very similar that’s true, loving, gentle, big hearted sweethearts and gorgeous babes~” the last part made Genma fall into a crazy fit of giggles.
“Mother, how was I as a baby? I know Nii-chan was very attached to father, was I always attached to you?”
“Well yes, you’ve always been very much a mama’s boy…but when you were born…God…I had to line up to get some time with you, your father would hog you away and keep you all to himself all the time, even Sanehiko was jealous back then!”
“I did not hog our child, ok? I was just…happy…” Genma’s little ears turned bright pink, he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
“You were happy because I looked like my uncle?” while that was part of it originally, it wasn’t just that, he truly had a wonderful bond with his sons, he was happy to welcome a new one after so long, Sanehiko was already a toddler back then and having such a cute little baby coddled up on his chest would make his heart sing every time.
“No, when you were born you were bald, we didn’t even know you would have dark hair.” that was a lie, but it made the child glow with happiness, being cared for just for his similarities to his uncle is something he’s feared his whole life.
“Bald? I didn’t know I was an ugly baby!”laughing wildly, Sanemi lets go of your waist to pick his son up in his arms, “Nah you were the cutest baby I’ve ever laid eyes on…”
“Cuter than Sae? She’s real cute, father…” his little hands wrapped around Sanemi’s head, his cute tiny nose nuzzling the side of his face as he giggles happily, this sort of affection normally reserved just for you, made Sanemi think he might have been finally forgiven by his son.
“Oh she is, alright, she looks just like your mama. But you…your eyes were so full of love even when you were a day old…I’ll never forget the first time you smiled at us…We knew we were blessed that day…” Genma has never been this clingy with Sanemi, but it felt just right, it reminded him of a young Genya clinging onto him for support and for comfort, days that had been long forgotten, days he holds dear in his heart, those days filled with nothing but happiness, those came back thanks to you, thanks to the beautiful family you two were able to build based on love and trust.
Being a father isn’t easy, and six is indeed a very large number, but he would do it all over again as many times as needed just to see the smile in your face every time they’re around.
“But father, are you going to explain me now how does the baby pee work? Can you make more when she has a baby inside already? Do they line up? Or do you like turn it off? I’ve been smelling your tea, I didn’t notice anything different, I still want to know what you need to drink to make babies…”
“Oh god…not again…”

The concept of a demon falling in love with a human was already considered unconventional, but the notion of two demons harboring affections for the same human was utterly unheard of.
Fate seemed to have a twisted sense of humor as Akaza realized that his beloved, the one who held a special place in his heart, was none other than Douma's beloved as well… It was a situation that couldn't be worse... or could it?
Over the course of several visits, Akaza began to sense that something was amiss with you. Despite your insistence that everything was fine, he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that gnawed at him.
On this particular evening, his concern reached its peak, compelling Akaza to pay you a visit and ascertain your well-being. As he approached your humble abode, his ears were met with the most grating and irritating sound in the entire world.
"Oh, Akaza-dono!" Douma's voice rang out cheerfully, accompanied by an enthusiastic wave of his hand. "I see you've come to check on our beloved Y/N. It appears I'm not the only one who was worried about her."
Akaza remained silent, his frustration evident as he emitted a disgruntled 'tsk' sound. Without uttering a single word, he briskly walked towards your dwelling, with Douma following closely behind, seemingly unfazed by Akaza's discontent.
The atmosphere between them was charged, a blend of conflicting emotions and unspoken tension. Akaza's presence loomed with an air of possessiveness, while Douma's demeanor exuded an almost mischievous delight. It was a precarious situation, teetering on the edge of uncertainty.
Standing by your front door, Akaza's gaze fixated on the surroundings, searching for any signs of something that might have made you sad. The worry etched on his face mirrored the genuine care he held for you, despite the complexity of their intertwined affections.
Douma, ever observant, watched with an air of curiosity. His playful nature seemingly balanced on a knife's edge, ready to revel in the unfolding drama or diffuse the mounting tension with a well-timed jest.
As you lay on your bed, your limbs felt heavy and unresponsive, weighed down by the intense fever that wracked your body. Despite the insistent knocking at the door, you remained rooted to your spot, unable to summon the strength to rise and answer it. The sound of your own rasping breath filled the room, punctuated only by the rhythmic tapping of knuckles against wood. "It's... It's open!" You managed to raise your voice.
Akaza took the lead, stepping inside the house. The sight of you in bed at this hour was uncommon, stirring a sense of concern within him.
Douma glanced back, his expression filled with worry. "Oh, my dear lotus! Are you feeling unwell? Are you sick?"
You tried to sit up and groaned as the room spun around you. "I'm not feeling well...."
"I told you something is wrong," Akaza frowned, making his way to your bedside and taking a seat. His hand gently rested on your warm forehead. "You have a fever, my love."
"That's no good," Douma sighed, mirroring Akaza's actions as his hand cupped your flushed and heated cheek. "We need to find a way to help. I could call upon my followers; surely someone among them knows what to do."
Akaza growled softly, casting a stern glance at Douma. "No stranger will come near her. We can take care of her ourselves."
Douma couldn't help but giggle, a soft purr infused in his tone. "Oh, we?! So you're finally acknowledging me in this little love triangle!"
The exchange between Akaza and Douma brimmed with a blend of concern, frustration, and a hint of playful banter. Their shared affection for you compelled them to find a solution to ease your discomfort, yet their different approaches and underlying dynamics created a tension that was both palpable and intriguing.
You pushed the hands of both Douma and Akaza off your face, feeling suffocated and overheated as you rolled to your back. Your chest heaved as you gasped for air, your pulse racing with a dizzying intensity. The heat enveloped you like a smothering blanket, causing beads of sweat to form on your forehead and trickle down your temples. You whispered, barely audible, "It's hard to breathe, I feel so hot." The world around you spun in a dizzying frenzy, as though you were caught in the eye of a whirlpool.
"Stay down, my love," Akaza sighed, his voice filled with exasperation, as he made his way to one of the windows. With a gentle push, he opened it slightly, allowing a breath of fresh air to enter the room.
Meanwhile, Douma, ever unpredictable, took hold of one of the towels you owned and casually departed from the house. Akaza couldn't help but feel a surge of relief, grateful for a temporary respite from the presence of the bothersome demon.
In that moment, Akaza's spirits lifted, knowing that he wouldn't have to deal with Douma's antics for a while. It brought a sense of contentment, however fleeting it may be, as he embraced the quietude that settled upon the space they shared.
You closed your eyes, endeavoring to breathe calmly as a severe headache began to form, but the pain proved too intense. A moment later, tears began to stream down your cheeks as you tried to stifle the sobs that threatened to escape your lips. Your attempts to control your breathing faltered, and you began to hyperventilate, gasping for air in short, ragged breaths. "I wanna die, Akaza.... Kill me, end my suffering, please!"
He positioned himself on the bed, pulling you gently towards him, allowing your back to rest against his sturdy chest. This arrangement provided a comfortable halfway point between sitting and lying down, ensuring your ease as he held you close. "Don't utter such foolish words," Akaza murmured in a soft growl, his voice laced with concern, as he tenderly wiped away your tears. "We will take care of you, and you will begin to feel better."
Just as the atmosphere began to settle, Douma's cheerful voice broke the silence, announcing his return. He entered the room with a sense of joy, holding a damp towel in his hand. With a deliberate motion, he approached you and placed the towel gently on your forehead, his finger making contact with the fabric.
In an instant, the moisture within the towel froze, transforming it into a soothing cold compress. The icy sensation promised relief, especially for your feverish state.
"This, my dear lotus, should aid in reducing your fever," Douma remarked, a hint of affection underlying his words.
You let out a deep groan, your body tense with anticipation, as Douma pressed the cool cloth to your forehead. The sensation was like a wave of relief washing over you, easing the ache in your head. The coldness of the towel was like a soothing balm, calming your racing thoughts and slowing your heartbeat. You closed your eyes and let out a contented sigh, grateful for Douma's quick thinking and gentle touch. "Thank you, my lord," you told him, resting comfortably against Akaza's broad, muscular chest. "It feels better. It is better."
With a simple nod, Douma placed his chilled, ice-like hands on your cheeks. "Once we eliminate this wretched fever, you'll feel better truly," he remarked, his tone filled with determination.
Meanwhile, Akaza tenderly stroked your head, his touch radiating reassurance. "We will take care of you," he whispered softly. "Soon, you'll be back to your vibrant self."
"I went to the lake a few days ago and decided to take a bath in it," you explained, your teeth chattering. "It was so cold, but I just couldn't resist the temptation. And now I think it's the reason why I caught a cold."
Akaza's voice carried a growl of concern as he confronted you, his words dripping with disbelief. "Are you out of your mind? We warned you about bathing in the river. It's still far too cold for that."
Beside him, Douma nodded in agreement, his expression mirroring Akaza's worry. "Indeed, my dear lotus," he chimed in. "He's absolutely right. You don't possess the same resilience as we do. You should exercise caution and take better care of your body."
Your heart beated fast in your chest as you began to speak. "I must apologize to both of you," you said, your voice trembling slightly. "My recklessness has caused harm, and for that, I am truly sorry. I'm sorry for not listening to neither of you."
Akaza's voice resonated with a soothing calmness as he offered his advice. "Don't dwell on it for now. Your priority should be on recovering," he said, keeping his words simple and direct.
Douma nodded in agreement, acknowledging Akaza's wisdom. "Just relax and find solace in rest," he added, his tone filled with care and tenderness for you, his beloved.
After you had finally calmed down, both Akaza and Douma stood watch over you, ensuring your safety until they were certain you had drifted off to sleep. Once satisfied, Akaza carefully placed you back onto the bed, tenderly covering you with a blanket.
Meanwhile, Douma made sure the towel remained cold, a testament to his attention to detail and concern for your well-being. His words, however, held a hint of something darker. "Humans, such fragile creatures," Douma remarked, a suggestion laced within his words. "Perhaps we could alleviate her suffering together, sharing the burden."
Akaza's brow furrowed, a frown etching across his face, his anger slowly simmering beneath the surface. Taking a deep breath to compose himself, he responded in a measured tone, suppressing the surge of emotions threatening to consume him. "We must nourish her," Akaza stated plainly, his voice carrying a sense of determination. Without further ado, he turned and walked away, his actions implying a steadfast commitment to fulfilling your needs and ensuring your well-being.
In this intricate dance of conflicting desires and motivations, their actions revealed a delicate balance between care and the potential for something darker. The complexities of their dynamic unfolded as they grappled with their own internal struggles, their choices and actions pivotal in shaping your shared fate.

The next time you awoke, you found both Akaza and Douma standing near your stove.
"Looks delicious," Douma commented with a mischievous tone, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Such a shame we cannot share it with her. Although, I'm certain it doesn't compare to the nutritional value of female flesh." His words were accompanied by a playful giggle, clearly enjoying the reaction it elicited from Akaza.
Akaza, on the other hand, wore a visibly annoyed expression, his face contorting in response to Douma's jest. However, his irritation quickly transformed into a brief moment of surprise as he noticed your awakening.
"Oh! You're awake!" Douma exclaimed, his tone shifting to one of genuine surprise and perhaps even a touch of delight.
"Boys?" You whispered, propping yourself on your elbow. "What are you doing? What's that smell?"
"That idiot managed to get you something to eat," Akaza remarked in a straightforward manner.
Douma's lips curled into a gentle smile as he glanced at you. "I simply mentioned to one of my followers that someone dear to me was unwell and in need of something delicious," he explained. Without hesitation, he approached your side, removing the towel from your head. "Feeling any better?" He inquired, concern evident in his voice.
You smiled at Douma weakly, nodding your head in gratitude. "I'm feeling much better thanks to you and Akaza's care," you said, your voice soft and grateful. "I cannot thank you both enough for taking care of me."
Akaza approached, a bowl held gently in his hands, and spoke with a voice filled with love and concern. "We love you," he declared, joining the two of you. "And because we care deeply for you, some of us have realized that you need extra care. Here, please eat."
Douma, his expression filled with a mischievous delight, chimed in with a cheerful hum. "I hope you'll enjoy it! And if not, I'll take care of that woman."
"That won't be necessary, Douma," you flashed him a smile while accepting the bowl from Akaza.
The aroma of the stew wafting up to your nose, making your mouth water in anticipation. You reached for the spoon, scooping up a mouthful of the warm, hearty stew and savoring the flavors. "It's delicious, Douma-sama. I've never had a better stew in my life."
With a nod, Douma uttered, "You are welcome, my dear! Only the best for you."
Akaza couldn't help but roll his eyes in response to the facade of false happiness.
You gave Akaza a look. "Hmm?"
"Nothing," he replied softly, a sense of relief evident in his voice. He tenderly pressed a kiss to your temple, his affectionate gesture bringing comfort and reassurance. "I'm just glad you're feeling better. Now, eat. We've also got some medicine for you, but it's important to eat first."
"Thank you," you put the bowl on your lap and reached your hand out to caress Akaza's cheek.
Douma rested his head on your shoulder, his voice filled with a playful tone. "Hey, I deserve some love too! After all, I did help as well."
You delicately traced your fingertips along Douma's sharp jawline, marveling at the smoothness of his skin. "Of course you did, my lord. I owe you my life. Both of you, actually."
He nodded and kissed your fingers gently.
Akaza, nestled against your shoulder, succinctly expressed their sentiments, "We love you deeply and fear losing our beloved human."
"Well, you can always turn me into a demon!" You suggested.
Douma's face lit up with sudden excitement, his head nodding eagerly in agreement.
"No!" Akaza's voice boomed with a deep growl. "You deserve better than this way of life."
"But at least I wouldn't get cold so often... You two don't get sick at all," you remarked, finishing your meal.
In an instant, Douma found himself on the verge of speaking, but before any words could escape his lips, Akaza swiftly decapitated him without hesitation.
"You deserve better than this existence. We love you just the way you are. Being immune to illness is a bonus, but there are many hardships," Akaza explained, his voice filled with conviction.
Douma's head regenerated smoothly, returning him to his complete form. Despite the shocking turn of events, he couldn't help but voice his complaint. "Akaza-dono! That was incredibly rude!" He whined, expressing his discontent with a hint of petulance.
You whimpered as the sticky, warm fluid dripped down on your cheek after the blow aimed to Douma's head, your body recoiling from the sensation. You looked up, locking eyes with Akaza, who seemed unfazed by the chaos he's caused. "What the hell, Akaza?! You didn't have to do that!" You screamed at him, your voice trembling with a mixture of anger and fear.
The pool of blood around Douma seemed to be growing larger by the second, soaking your bed, and you couldn't help but feel sickened by the sight.
"Knowing him, he was about to blurt out something foolish, as usual," Akaza remarked with a cold tone, observing Douma's futile attempts to fix his disheveled hair. "I am perfectly fine," Douma interjected, shaking his head with a playful grin. "No need to fret, my love. I remain as beautiful as ever."
"You messed up my bed..." You grunted with disgust. "I'm going to vomit!" And with that, you ran to the bathroom.
Akaza chuckled at the thought of you wanting to become a demon and rose from his seat to change the sheets.
Douma let out a sigh and joined in, deciding to lend a hand. By the time you returned, a set of fresh sheets awaited you, a silent gesture of their care and consideration.
"Boys. I'm feeling better already. You don't have to stay here. The sun will rise soon."
"You still need to drink the medicine," Akaza remarked.
Douma gave a slight shrug, his gaze filled with mischief. "You're not wrong. We could simply cover the windows and spend the day... in bed," he purred, his voice laced with suggestive undertones.
You found yourself nodding along to Douma's suggestion, despite the wary look in Akaza's eyes. "Okay, let's try it. Akaza, can you please give me the medicine?"
Complying with your request, Akaza swiftly returned, presenting you with a brimming cup of an unidentified liquid.
"It stinks," you groaned in disgust.
"Sometimes, the bitterest medicine is the most effective remedy," Douma murmured softly, his voice carrying a gentle reassurance. "But don't worry, it's nothing you can't handle."
You took a deep breath before tipping the glass back, swallowing the medicine in one gulp. The taste was acrid, and it burned your throat as it went down. You gagged and coughed, feeling like your whole body was on fire. "God, this tastes awful," you groaned, handing the empty glass back to Akaza.
"You did exceptionally well," Douma praised, his gentle touch caressing your back. "You're such a good girl!"
"Will you stay with me, boys?"
"Of course!" Douma nodded in agreement with Akaza's previous words. Without uttering a single sound, he gently nudged Akaza's side, guiding him to discreetly cover the windows.
You watched pink-haired closing to curtains as you climb in the bed and took comfortable position
The demon with rainbow eyes was the first to embrace you, his arms encircling your waist as he pulled you close.
"Don't think you can claim her all for yourself," Akaza growled, his own arms enveloping you protectively.
Douma's expression turned into a frown, yet he managed to offer Akaza a sly smile. "Oh? Worried she'll choose me in the end? Someone seems a bit jealous."
"Boys, please," you whispered, giving them both a few strokes to their cheeks. "Behave."
Akaza whispered softly, drawing you nearer to him. "It's difficult when he's in such proximity," he murmured, his voice laced with a mix of longing and unease. "He's just too close."
"Akaza, darling, you know I appreciate Douma's presence as much as I appreciate yours."
Douma let out a scoff, leaning in to nuzzle against you. Despite the display of affection, his actions seemed to provoke a tense response from Akaza. In an attempt to soothe his companion, Douma gently hummed and proceeded to pat Akaza's head, further exacerbating his tension. "There, there, Akaza-dono."
You giggled, looking at Douma. "You can be so charming when you want."
"I am always charming, my darling," he proclaimed, his voice dripping with self-assuredness. Yet, his confidence was abruptly shattered when Akaza sank his teeth into his hand, causing him to yelp in pain.
"Don't... touch me," the pink-haired demon growled, his teeth clenching even harder.
"Akaza! Apologize to Douma for biting him!" Came your admonishing voice, demanding restitution for the offense committed.
"Yes! Apologize to me!" Douma chimed in, an offended tone lacing his words.
Akaza scoffed, dismissively brushing off the notion. "In your dreams, Douma," he retorted, his disdain palpable in the air.
You gently tapped Akaza's forehead. "Do it, please?"
"Never," Akaza snapped, his voice laced with determination. "I would never trust him. He would gladly devour you, and I refuse to be blind to his feigned emotions."
You shivered and moved closer to Akaza, looking at Douma over your shoulder.
Akaza pressed himself against you, nuzzling affectionately and applying a gentle squeeze.
Douma, expressing annoyance, drew nearer and enveloped you in a hug as well. "Ignore Akaza-dono's remark, I would never consume you. Is your fever resurfacing, my dear?"
"I think it's coming back."
"Allow me to assist you," Douma murmured softly, his icy cold hand gently resting upon your forehead.
In response, a contented hum escaped your lips, prompting a smile to grace Akaza's face. "Well, well. It seems you have some utility, icicle."
Douma's brows furrowed in mock annoyance. "I shall conveniently ignore that remark," he retorted.
"Boys, please, behave... It feels so good, though," you mumbled, snuggling with both Akaza and Douma.
The two demons exchanged glances, silently acknowledging their shared goal of ensuring your swift recovery. For the moment, they chose to remain quiet, allowing you the peaceful rest you needed.
As you shifted to your other side, your embrace found its way to Douma, seeking comfort and solace in his presence.
