Weird Questions for Writers (because writers are weird)
1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?
2. If you had to give up your keyboard and write your stories exclusively by hand, could you do it? If you already write everything by hand, a) are you a wizard and b) pen or pencil?
3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?
4. What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral?
5. Do you have any writing superstitions? What are they and why are they 100% true?
6. What is your darkest fear about writing?
7. What is your deepest joy about writing?
8. If you had to write an entire story without either action or dialogue, which would you choose and how would it go?
9. Do you believe in ghosts? This isn’t about writing I just wanna know
10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?
11. Do you believe in the old advice to “kill your darlings?” Are you a ruthless darling assassin? What happens to the darlings you murder? Do you have a darling graveyard? Do you grieve?
12. If a genie offered you three writing wishes, what would they be? Btw if you wish for more wishes the genie turns all your current WIPs into Lorem Ipsum, I don’t make the rules
13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?
14. Do you lend your books to people? Are people scared to borrow books from you? Do you know exactly where all your “lost” books are and which specific friend from school you haven’t seen in twelve years still possesses them? Will you ever get them back?
15. Do you write in the margins of your books? Dog-ear your pages? Read in the bath? Why or why not? Do you judge people who do these things? Can we still be friends?
16. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever used as a bookmark?
17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.
18. Choose a passage from your writing. Tell me about the backstory of this moment. How you came up with it, how it changed from start to end. Spicy addition: Questioner provides the passage.
19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?
20. If a witch offered you the choice between eternal happiness with your one true love and the ability to finally finish, perfect, and publish your dearest, darlingest, most precious WIP in exactly the way you've always imagined it — which would you choose? You can’t have both sorry, life’s a bitch
21. Could you ever quit writing? Do you ever wish you could? Why or why not?
22. How organized are you with your writing? Describe to me your organization method, if it exists. What tools do you use? Notebooks? Binders? Apps? The Cloud?
23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.
24. How much prep work do you put into your stories? What does that look like for you? Do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?
25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story?
26. How do you get into your character’s head? How do you get out? Do you ever regret going in there in the first place?
27. Who is the most stressful character you’ve ever written? Why?
28. Who is the most delightful character you’ve ever written? Why?
29. Where do you draw your inspiration? What do you do when the inspiration well runs dry?
30. Talk to me about the role dreams play in your writing life. Have you ever used material from your dreams in your writing? Have you ever written in a dream? Did you remember it when you woke up?
31. Write a short love letter to your readers.
32. What is a line from a poem/novel/fanfic etc that you return to from time and time again? How did you find it? What does it mean to you?
33. Do you practice any other art besides writing? Does that art ever tie into your writing, or is it entirely separate?
34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:
35. What’s your favorite writing rule to smash into smithereens?
36. They say to Write What You Know. Setting aside for a moment the fact that this is terrible advice...what do you Know?
37. If you were to be remembered only by the words you’ve put on the page, what would future historians think of you?
38. What is something about your writing process YOU think is Really Weird? If you are comfortable, please share. If you’re not comfortable, what do you think cats say about us?
39. What keeps you writing when you feel like giving up?
40. Please share a poem with me, I need it.

if ur still doing the writing meme (i've liked all ur answers even the 'unpopular' ones a haikyuu fic i loved once got rewritten and i'm still sad i never saved the first one because i didn't realize the author didn't like it and i wish i'd commented more or sth to make them know we loved the og so much) -> 13 and 34 plz
Ahh I'm sorry you went through that anon re: the Haikyuu! fic. Please don't guilt-trip yourself for it. Authors have lots of reasons for rewriting a fic, or deleting a fic, and sometimes even when it's had thousands of kudos they will still do it.
It sounds like you commented in general (since you say 'commented more' instead of just commented) which is like... really awesome. Who knows, maybe the author thought they were giving you the better version! You can always leave a comment and ask if they still have the original chapters on file somewhere if that author's still active, and if they'd be willing to share them with you somehow.
Now to the meme:
13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?
I was going to answer this with 'easy, everything I don't write' lmao because I just avoid the stuff I find hardest. But that's kind of...not the point. So in all seriousness:
Big ensemble scenes with big ensemble casts. I don't know why I insist on writing these a fair bit, but anything that has more than two characters in a scene is a struggle. More than four is like 'OH GOD.' It's just a lot of work in a different kind of way.
Happy endings. It's not that they're difficult to write, exactly, it's that I'm often...kind of sad to be letting go of the story and I feel like I've already let it go at the point that I'm writing the happy ending. Like, I am not happiest when I'm writing the happy ending, though I want it to feel really really good for readers. I love happy endings, but I also get really noticeable lag and slow down a bit towards the end of stories, because I have less motivation. An ending means letting go of that version of the world, or that installment, and my brain is like 'dun wanna.'
Beginnings/openings. I don't really enjoy the first few pages of a first chapter and I know I'm not often good at beginnings which further preys on my 'everyone is going to hate this story' insecurity I have at the beginning of a new thing.
Action scenes used to be in this but they're not as much anymore. But I do really struggle with sex scenes too! And I think that's a reason I don't write them as much as I used to. It's not a bad thing, one of the reasons they're harder is because I want them to be good and I just don't want to do carbon copies of previous sex scenes and I've now written like 200 of them.
As for things I find easy, hmm. I'm going to go with broadscale characterisation and dialogue. I also think generating character and place names is really easy, and inventing species to populate a new world is easy. I also think describing nature is easy for me, though I sometimes feel silly or like...I'm boring people when I describe it, so I try not to do it toooo much.
I'm bad at writing description but hilariously I don't find it difficult. x.x Maybe that's why I'm bad at it.
34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:
*takes a breath*
Since you don't mind unpopular opinions I hope you don't mind this one: I fucking don't rate the Oxford Comma and try to avoid using it wherever possible. It's really easy to avoid some of the errors an Oxford Comma can prevent through context, and frankly, the Oxford Comma can create its own issues which can be prevented through not using it. You can avoid or introduce ambiguity whether you do or don't use it, basically, one solves some problems and introduces others, the other solves some problems and introduces others.
In that sense, it's understandable why it's not mandated in many style guides. It is preferable in US English, but damn, I'm not from the USA. And the Oxford Style Guide recommends it but the Oxford Style Manual recommends against it. Australian Style Guides, including the one issued by the government, generally oppose its use, but it's not mandated, so it's really at the author's discretion.
I've tried using it. Like, I've sat down and thought 'right I'm going to give this a good shot' and I just really don't like it. So you'll see a handful here and there in my writing where I thought 'okay let's try it' and then just been like nahhhh.
I have no problems with other people using it, and those people can have all the extra commas I'm not using because damn, they'll need them. :D

Send me a weird writing ask!
Going to do 34 first, because 17 is gonna get partially thrown under a cut (apologies for being a complete and total freakazoid "invisible to users with no account" "wiped from search results" blog):
34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:
In casual and academic writing, necessary. In prosey writing, I really only put a comma where it fits the kind of pause I want to convey. So in stream-of-consciousness type writing, you might see commas missing where they grammatically should be, and in places where they normally aren't!
17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.
I can't do this in a reasonable length of post... and I think I have like 3 active WIPs. But I will take this opportunity to talk about one of like, my dark-dark fics "Go in Fear of the Sun" which spawned off the idea of like. Missing-person cases I read where the family suspected foul play but the police closed it as suicide because of mental health history. Anyway, TW for all kinds of insane bad shit, CSA/SA, SH, suicide, murder, depression, I don't know:
Daniel and Max live on the outskirts of Buffalo, NY, and it's like, mid-late 2000s. Max is a auto mechanic in his early 20s, Daniel is a diner manager, about 30, subbing in for waitstaff because they don't have enough workers. Max gets his lunch there like clockwork, every day, nothing changing, not curious to try anything else.
Daniel flirts with him a little, Max's weird but seems harmless, severe looking face but big soft eyes. Gets Max to try a new dish (which he hates, and then tips Daniel anyway, which he barely has the money to do). Daniel likes him. They talk often. They go to each others apartments, they're friends, Max plays Madden 04 on his PS2 and explains play strategy to Daniel, whose knowledge of football is limited to Fuck The Patriots, But Also The Dolphins Especially. Max is a sweet guy. He shouts at his games and then his face goes soft, he doesn't throw anything. Sometimes his head falls back onto Daniel's knee from where he sits on the floor. Max has pretty hands that are often still black under the nails. They send good morning good night texts.
Daniel is falling in love with him. It scares the shit out of him. And he's increasingly getting this gnawing sense that Max has issues he won't discuss. He rarely talks about his family, except for his sister, who looks like him if Max were round-faced (and he thinks Max looks better the way he does, strong brow and wide cheekbones sloping into a soft pout. I mean, wow, what a contrast). Even of her, he only has a few photos with him, although he looks at them often. His arms, when his long sleeves ride up, are streaked with old chalky marks, pink lines. Brown stitchy scabs, some of them fresh of them enough to have those spots of red-yellow ooze. It feels freaky. He remembers kids like this, in high school. They ended up in the psych ward. Freaky.
Some days, Max is very quiet. He has dark circles under his eyes, and while Daniel feels he always looks like that, bruisey and like everything's been drained out of a tap at the base of his spine, it looks wrong on Max. Max should be bright faced and flushed. Other times, he's frightened. He never wants to talk about it much, but he manages a short "my dad" that he fails to elaborate on. Daniel worries. But these times pass, even if overall they increase in frequency. Max says once his father keeps getting in his business. He says once that his father is a fucking creep. But he almost always softens his tone by the next day about it. Daniel tries to check in with him when it's bad, bookended by, rise and shine Max, sweet dreams, Max a million.
Despite all this, they're getting closer. Max is gentle, they cook together, watch games together even at the expense of Daniel meeting with his other friends. Daniel feels like he won a million dollars every time he draws a bright and real smile, wrenched from place hidden safe inside Max. He feels like he's doing something right. He listens to Max's detailed lectures on trick plays, on the value of a good rushing game. Daniel cooks him his breakfasts at home, even earlier, before he leaves. Walks over extra early just to do it for him. One day, they spend the weekend snowed in, as so often happens. It's good. It's fun. They drink a lot.
In spring, really, more late May or so, Max and him sleep together, and it's so good. Daniel's never had sex that good, most detached little bathroom fumbles in bars. Never felt like going steady, like his dad called it especially if going steady meant a nice girl. But he feels like it, with him. It's crazy, they go the whole night. He's so in love. He loves Max all over. He doesn't see a thing wrong with him except for his unhappiness, which his whole body aches to help soothe. He can't, though, because this all runs so deep. Daniel doesn't know, and even if he did. A sweet boyfriend can only do so much. They still make plans to go for drinks, properly, as a date-date, the next Friday.
Wednesday, Max doesn't come in for breakfast.
He might just be sick, but he always texts Daniel. On his break, he goes down the street to the garage where Max works, and asks if he's been in or called. Neither. So he goes to Max's apartment. He knocks and knocks to no response. And when he tries the door, it opens.
Nothing wrong inside except for the dinner that hasn't been cleared away, or the chair tipped over.
On the grounds of a hospital stay a year before, the police suspect suicide. Despite Daniel's cold cold dread and suspicion of his father, they say his alibi checks out, out for dinner with his wife.
They don't find anything. And years pass like this.
#and THEN the second half of the story starts#sorry thats like a whole damn ESSAY!#asks#anon#go in fear of the sun

20, 23 and the oxford question, go! 🌟
20. If a witch offered you the choice between eternal happiness with your one true love and the ability to finally finish, perfect, and publish your dearest, darlingest, most precious WIP in exactly the way you've always imagined it — which would you choose? You can’t have both sorry, life’s a bitch
the fucking writing fun and cool and awesome bird fact im aromantic and also dont believe in bluepilled eternal happiness <-perfection dont sit right with me i think conflict is necessary 2 be human. also yeah if i could finally make a piece of writing i think is Perfect i could actually die happy
23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.

34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:
never was formally taught grammar in school. i think its useful but when a comma has 40 separate uses all at once i think its one of many important tools in writing

hi cutie!! 30 and 34? if you're still answering the writing asks :):)
hello, my darling!!!! i am always answering the asks hehehe. 😅 i will never stop. 😰 i'm doomed to this fate forever. 🥰
30. Talk to me about the role dreams play in your writing life. Have you ever used material from your dreams in your writing? Have you ever written in a dream? Did you remember it when you woke up?
dreams do play a pretty big role! i am a very vivid, lucid dreamer and i have a lot of nightmares 🤪 lolol. i also tend to have some sexy dreams, which i take as a sign to write about immediately. and i have written about many of them.
i talk a little more about dreams making an appearance in another ask, too.
ugh i write in my fucking dreams ALL THE TIME and despite how well i can remember a lot of details from my dreams, i can never remember what i have written. i wish i could, i bet it's absolute chaotic nonsense. 😩😩😩
34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:
it is handy! i appreciate it a lot. without it, sometimes context can turn dire. does she love cooking, her siblings, and her family pet? or does she love cooking her siblings and her family pet? one of those sentences is........a crime. also, sometimes i think it just makes a sentence a bit more readable.
send me some weird asks!

hiiii!!!! 9 + 23 + 34 for the writer asks if u please!! <33
!!! hello <333
9. Do you believe in ghosts? This isn’t about writing I just wanna know
i mean i have googled are ghosts real on several occasions so. do with that what you will
23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.
ill list several environments and rate them actually:
my room (6/10): most of my work happens here but i mean... its boring and sometimes it sucks all the creativity out of me. so its either (a) on my twin bed (white sheets with lil purple hearts & white comforter with one teddy bear and one huge plushie monkey) with coffee on the bedside table next to my current read, the dusty bibles i haven't touched in a really long time (i live in a catholic household haha) the jewelry i just took off (either dangly earrings or a necklace), emotional support water bottle i need to wash, and coffee or (b) my desk with the wooden bookshelves my dad and brother put up for me, the old test papers ive been hoarding for two years and i still haven't thrown out, textbooks for ib bio and ib chem (which i dropped two months in lol) and binders and notebooks, the first newspaper i ever bought lol, pens notebooks etc
starbucks 1 (8/10): i love the outdoor seating in that place. some of my best writing has happened there: there's the rickety circle table with the ashtray, my coffee, optimal for people watching, and its in a town where the weathers always pretty breezy i LOVE it. i knocked two points off bc ive run into ppl from skl on several occasions and it sucks ass bc i hate small talk.
starbucks 2 (7/10): it's in an area too hot to sit outdoors and they crank the ac up so it becomes too cold to sit inside unless i have a jacket. however the inside area is a bit cramped and it tends to get crowded bc its right next to this shopping center but on the plus side ive never accidentally crossed paths with someone i know there. leathery couch, wooden table, coffee smell(!!!!!!!), and one time i sat next to a 30something dude who was just drinking his coffee and sketching with a pencil before going off to his corporate job (he was in a suit so i made an educated guess).
airport gate (infinity/10): i miss traveling cant wait to do it this summer
school library (4/10): would've been a 10/10 (the bookshelves, if i lose inspiration i can just look at books for a bit and get the zing to keep writing, plus its got all these big windows and its flooded with natural light (but not sunlight just this foggy atmosphere) and its the only room with proper heating during the winter) except its got ppl i went to school with so. i never got the actual vibe i wanted. i hope this doesn't happen when i go to uni lol
hotel cafe (10/10): no one bothers u and u get to people watch its perfect. this isn't about any specific hotel bc ive been to many but its always pretty similar: coffee smell, couches u just sink into, ppl coming and going, nice jazzy music, etcetc (i got sick of describing sorry <33)
34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:
must be used at all times in academic settings. idc. however in prose/poetry settings u can do whatever the fuck u want with it bc like artistic license or wtv

omg AM I TOO LATE?? if not... 1, 32, and 34 from the asks pls mi amor!!! x
clare my love it is never too late!
1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?
times new roman or garamond. yes it is SOOOO important, more important than the words i’m writing tbh (another true fact about me is that i also don’t think my ao3 fics are real because i’m so used to the ff.net font.... forgive me besties....)
32. What is a line from a poem/novel/fanfic etc that you return to from time and time again? How did you find it? What does it mean to you?
i answered this once here but hey whats one more? as some may have noticed, my blog title is a quote from this passage from persuasion, in which the love interest writes a letter to the main character:
Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant.
what the FUCK JANE. this is a fucking Love Letter babes! ok i have to calm down before i absolutely lose it. i first read persuasion in a college austen class, which was honestly the most delightful classroom experience i’ve ever had with an icon of an austen expert who talked to us about the lizzie bennet diaries and pride and prejudice and zombies (yes to the former, no to the latter). she was like, you guys are NOT ready for the persuasion love letter (we went chronologically so it was the last book on the syllabus) and she was right.
alas i skimmed the novel since i was already writing a paper on p&p but my finals ended early and it was a beautiful, rare spring day (the city i went to college in does not believe in spring) and i lay down in the grass and read my copy of persuasion... and not only is this line a fantastic climactic moment in a wonderful romance, it takes me right back to that warm, lovely day.
34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:
the cardinal rule of grammar. throw it all out the window, move to emoji-only communication, but we must always have our light, our leader, our patron saint the oxford comma. i have been known to edit in oxford commas into friends’ cover letters... the doctrine will spread! we will rule!
drop me a number from this!

Hello I’m here hi hey!!
Oh, hi- Hello :DD
Mmm this had me thinking a lot (which I always appreciate, thank you). Sorry it took so long
32.
Ah of course I forget everything I’ve ever read now god I wish I kept more notes
There’s definitely something I’m forgetting, here. But I don’t think I have something, I don’t like poetry much and a lot of the quotes I like are character-specific so don’t really apply to me.
33.
I mean, not technically.
I’ve tried drawing a few times but I can never stay focused (or motivated) long enough to do anything.
If we’re including like, music, I play piano but that doesn’t really tie into my writing, I don’t compose songs or anything. But when I’m in a particular writing slump playing the piano does help me get the thoughts working.
34.
Mmmm. This fucking thing. I do love English as a language just because of dumb little things like this so as a default I think it’s pretty cool but it just looks so wrong. I can’t.
Like, I get that it has to be used sometimes for the sentence to actually make sense. I get that. It’s cool. But the actual sight of the comma before the ‘and’ in a list is so upsetting to me.

a-z meme!
tagged by @pantstomatch and @yodas-yo-yo. Note: I have rage at the moment, because my boss just got angry at me about commas. So prepare yourselves for random F-bombs. Commas aren’t optional, okay? That’s not a thing. Motherfucker.
A: AGE 34. Yeah. That happened.
B: BIRTHPLACE - Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada
C: CURRENT TIME - 11:53 AM
D: DRINK YOU HAD LAST - water to swallow a Motrin because fuck this
E: EASIEST PERSON TO TALK TO - My best friend Sarah, who never judges me, and @pantstomatch, who is frequently held hostage by my rants about everything and anything from sleep-talking boyfriends to bosses who think COMMAS ARE OPTIONAL.
F: FAVORITE SONG - What IS my favourite song? At the moment, it’s Oxford Comma by Vampire Weekend, but that’s to soothe my rage over “optional commas”. Maybe If I Told You by Darius Rucker, or Yellow by Coldplay. So many songs by My Chemical Romance.
G: GROSSEST MEMORY - So, this weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada, and my boyfriend and I decided to stay home and Cook Our Own Turkey. Yeah. A+ Adulting. I assigned him to do ‘the gross stuff’ with the turkey, because I am squeamish as fuck, and can’t even handle cooking meat most of the time, and if I remember that meat is dead animal while said meat is in my mouth, I can’t swallow. (Insert blowjob joke here. There was one, but I took it out, because self-censoring is fun. Use your imagination.) So, my boyfriend is more squeamish than I am but completed an internship at a wildlife rehabilitation facility over the summer, so he was up for the task! And then! HE FOUND AN INTESTINE IN THE TURKEY. I was hiding in the fridge, peaking around the corner and moaning in disgust when he exclaimed, “There’s an intestine in here, is that normal?!” and I snapped, “There is NOT an intestine in that turkey.” And peered around the kitchen door to see him tugging on a motherfucking intestine sticking out of the butt of the turkey like an umbilical cord. I almost threw up. I repeated that it couldn’t possibly be an intestine. He calmly shook it around and said, “Trust me, I know intestines.” He spent the summer butchering mice to feed to baby weasels. So. I suppose he does know intestines.
Incidentally, it’s now 12:00 PM, lunch time, and I’ve got turkey leftovers. Fuck.
H: HOGWARTS HOUSE - Slytherin in my youth, before I got control of my mental health problems. Hufflepuff now that I’m medicated? (This is nothing against Slytherin, Slytherin will always be the house of my soul! But my Slytherin tendencies were always just a show to protect my Hufflepuff heart.)
I: IN LOVE? - yes
J: JEALOUS OF PEOPLE - sigh. So much.
K: KILLED SOMEONE - No.
L: LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT OR SHOULD I WALK BY AGAIN - I don’t really believe in it. Love takes a choice. You can be attracted, you can be infatuated, you can be whatever else, but for me, love is the moment when you realize that, despite all the attraction and infatuation, it’s still going to take work, and it’s worth it to put the work in.
M: MIDDLE NAME - Diane
N: NUMBER OF SIBLINGS - 2
O: ONE WISH- For people to start using their common sense and their words, so we don’t have a nuclear war, so we don’t hate people for stupid reasons, so we don’t think our subjective borders are more important than our humanity. And... enough money to pay for my wedding and a mortgage, so I can get a dog. And a job that doesn’t crush my soul.
Q: QUESTION YOU ARE ALWAYS ASKED - Why haven’t you sent your book to a publisher yet? (Rejection is scary, MOM.)
R: REASON TO SMILE - My boyfriend. My cats. My friends. My medication!
S: SONG YOU SANG LAST - Who gives a fuck about the Oxford Comma? I do!
T: TIME YOU WOKE UP - 5:55 AM
U: UNDERWEAR COLOR - A nice, dark teal.
V: VACATION DESTINATION - I’ve had a dream of going to the Mayan Riviera for years. My boyfriend took me to Croatia instead. Sob. (Kidding, it was amazing.) But I want to go wander around Scotland and Wales and Ireland! And then relax on a Mexican beach. Anything with the ocean. I need the ocean like I need to breathe. Why the fuck do I live in the middle of the prairies.
W: WORST HABIT - I’m messy. I never clean up after myself. My boyfriend despairs.
X: X-RAYS - My last x-ray was my ankle! Why? Because WALKING IS FUCKING TOO HARD FOR ME. Our last night in Croatia. Stepped off a curb. Humiliating screeching ensued. Sigh. X-ray three days later, nothing showed up, bone scan a month later, bone all chipped and bruised and gross. A year and a bit later, and it’s finally better. Whew. I’ve also had my spine x-rayed half a dozen times, and my skull a few times too. And my knee.
Y: YOUR FAVORITE FOOD - PIZZA!
Z: ZODIAC SIGN - Aries, the best of all.
I’m going to tag @rubyredhoodling, but you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to.

I was tagged by @sore-dake thank you. ^^
Da Rules: Answer all of the questions, add one question of your own at the end, and then tag as many people as there are questions!
1. Coke or Pepsi?
Coke, even if I hardly drink it nowadays. :V
2. Disney or Dreamworks?
I love both, but in the end I have to admit that I watch more Disney than DreamWorks, so Disney.
3. Coffee or Tea?
Tea, I really, really, really, dislike coffee. I’m a huge tea person. xD
4. Books or Movies?
Movies, even if I no long read nor watch movies that much nowadays. .-.
5. Windows or Mac?
Windows all the way!
6. DC or Marvel?
Marvel.
7. Xbox or Playstation?
Playstation, even if I hate a lot about it. They have so many flaws compared to the XBox ahhhh, but they have nicer games...
8. Dragon Age or Mass Effect?
Don’t watch nor play either. But Dragon Age just because I know more about it and it has a cool fantasy setting. .-.
9. Night Owl or Early Riser?
Night Owl.
10. Cards or Chess?
I like both, but I’ve always preferred chess. Sigh... I miss playing it.
11. Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate, even if my body reacts rather bad to some of it.
12. Vans or Converse?
Vans, they’re a lot softer on my feet.
13. Lavellan, Trevelyan, Cadash, or Adaar?
I’m guessing these are Dragon Age species/houses? .-. Adaar looks cool... But Lavellan seems nice as well. I dunno tbh. xD
14. Paragon or Renegade?
Is Renegade from Mass Effects? I dunno what these are, ahhhh. xD
15. Star Wars or Star Trek?

Binge watch. I stop watching most series just because I don’t like waiting or it are too many episodes imo. xD
17. Gandalf or Obi-Wan?
Obi-Wan. Never actually watched LOTR, except for LOTR 3 and the Hobbit 1. Not the biggest fan of it so far, but hey, gonna watch them with my girlfriend and maybe I’ll change my mind. c:
18. Heroes or Villains?
VILLAINS! VILLAINS! VILLAINS! Heroes can be very nice too, but 9 out of 10 times, my fave character in a franchise is the villain. Kefka, Demyx (though I can’t really consider him one), Xigbar, Ardyn... And many more!
19. John Williams or Hans Zimmer?
Hans Zimmer, haven’t listened enough of John Williams.
20. Disneyland/World or Six Flags?
Disneyland, never been there before. But God, Six Flags has so many Rollercoasters and even if they’re like 20 times higher than the highest rollercoasters in the Netherlands (which frightens me tbh cause I’m afraid of heights), I want to go there too sometime, with friends and/or family!
21. Forest or Sea?
Both have given me very wonderful memories of my brother, parents and I. But in the end I think I’d have to go with the sea. It almost seems endless and holds so many secrets beyond our knowledge. Besides, look at the sea in some countries, holy shit!
22. Flying or Reading Minds?
Reading minds would be useful, after all, then I can see what people truly think about me. .-. But on the other hand, I trust people on their words, and flying, would be very useful to get to places real fast (even if I still am frightened of heights).
23. Twin Peaks or Northern Exposure?
I don’t know either but Northern Exposure seems nicer.
24. Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?
Harry Potter, definitely.
25. You’re banished to a deserted island, which Benedict Cumberbatch character would you choose to take with you?
The Imitation Game was a very good true story he played in and I loved the movie. But I guess I’d get along better with Sherlock, even if I’ve only watched one or two episodes?
26. Train or cruise ship?
Train, I use it every single day to get to school. xD
27. Brian Cox or Neil deGrasse Tyson?
Once again, I don’t know either, but in the end I have to go with Neil deGrasse Tyson because he seems cooler to me.
28. Art museum or science museum?
Art. Always been fascinated by them (even if I love history museums as well). I’ve only been to science museums twice.
29. Irish Pub or Night Club?
Irish pub, I’ve been to one several times and it has nice people. Besides, I’m not a party animal.
30. Aang or Korra?
Aang, because I’ve never been a fan of The Legend of Korra. Pleasedon’thateonmeforthat.
31. Swimming in a pool or lake?
Lake, much prettier.
32. Classic music or classic literature?
Classic music, I listen to it a lot tbh. xD
33. Oxford comma or no oxford comma?
No oxford comma.
34. Digital or Paper book?
Papeeeer.
35. Rainy or Sunny days?
Sunny, even if rainy days are nice as well sometimes. xD
36. Fantasy or Science Fiction?
Fantasy, all the way!
37. Flowers or Succulents ?
Flowers. My room is full of succulents I forget to give water... Sorry plants.
38. Berestain or Berestein?
Berestein I guess.
39. Jazz or Blues?
Jazz.
40. Love at First Sight Trope or Friends to Lovers Trope?
Friends to lovers. I’m demiromantic so I don’t really believe in love at the first sight. Besides, I love to see the whole bonding process between two people as they get to know each other more.
41. Taking care or being taken care of?
Taking care, I’ve always put other people’s feelings before mine. 42. Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts? (My question) I tag less people because holy fuck I don’t even dare to tag 42 people: @annatard @solfreyr @jlavisant @wings-of-may @creamecream @incarniunknown @stephicness @doriardyn @smolded @rinai-romara @deafgevaardigde @plotdesigner @little-miss-pandora @swoooonamis
The amount of people I dare to tag because this are most of the peeps I interact with. ._.

Pick one
Thank you very much for tagging me again @ilonavic. I really appreciate it (◠◡◠)
Rules: You HAVE to pick one. You can’t say “Both”. Then replace and add your own question at the end.
1. Coke or Pepsi? Coke.
2. Disney or Dreamworks? I love both, but… I have to say Disney.
3. Coffee or tea? Tea.
4. Books or movies? Oh, please, you can’t make me choose!!! Shit!! I love both!! I am going to say movies just because right now I don’t have time for read.
5. Windows or Mac? Windows.
6. DC or Marvel? Marvel.
7. Xbox or Playstation? Play Station.
8. Dragon Age or Mass Effect? Dragon Age.
9. Night owl or early riser? I am both, but I’d say night owl.
10. Cards or chess? Neither. Bored as fuck. Gimme a book or my PS4.
11. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate.
12. Vans or Converse? Neither, I like Creepers.
13. Lavellan, Trevelyan, Cadash, or Adaar? This is hard, but I think Lavellan (I love the Vallaslin).
14. Paragon or Renegade? Paragon (and sometimes Renegade).
15. Star Wars or Star Trek? This is hard, but I think Star Wars.
16. One episode per week or binge watch? One episode per week.
18. Heroes or villains? I’d say both but as I can I’m just gonna say villains. Their stories are always more interesting. And what about a character that is both?
19. John Williams or Hans Zimmer? Hans Zimmer. He’s one of my favourite composers!!
20. Disneyland or World or Six Flags? ...Neither?
21. Forest or sea? Forest, although I always go to the beach with my family. The forest is much more quiet and relaxing.
22. Flying or reading minds? Both are useful but I think that flying is better.
23. Dr Who or Dr Strange? Dr. Who.
24. Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings? OH NO, YOU JUST CAN’T MAKE ME CHOOSE. BOTH OR NOTHING.
25. You’re banished to a deserted island, which Benedict Cumberbatch characters would you choose to take with you? Dr Strange, obviously, because we’ll be home in a second and I know that Sherlock would think that I am stupid and he wouldn’t like talking to me.
26. Train or cruise ship? Train, I can’t imagine myself surrounded by so much water.
27. Brian Cox or Neil deGrasse Tyson? Neil deGrasse Tyson looks nicer than Brion, so I choose him.
28. Art museum or science museum? FUCK. JUST FUCK. I LOVE BOTH. I think that I rather go to an art museum.
29. Irish pub or night club? What are you talking about? I am staying at home!!!
30. Aang or Korra? Shit... I can’t choose!!! Aaaaaghh!!
31. Swimming in a pool or lake? No swimming at all. I only like being in water when I am taking a shower.
32. Classic music or classic literature? Classic music ❤♫

35. Rainy days or Sunny days? Rainy days! Storm!! THUNDER!!!
36. Fantasy or Science Fiction? Fantasy!!
37. Poetry or Prose? Poetry (I don’t really understand a thing the poem is saying, but I prefer poetry).

39. The release of Elder Scrolls 6 or The Witcher 4? Wow!!! The Witcher 4??? GIIIMMEEEE!!!!
40. Elves or Dwarves? …These questions are killing me… Shit, no, I can’t choose, they are both too good!!
My question:
41. Writing or reading? I tried to write many times, in Spanish and English, but I just can’t! I don’t have time and when I do, I don’t really feel like writing, I prefer reading a book I enjoy and relax.
These questions are very interesting, so prepare because I am tagging many people!! @vaporeox, @daovihi, @petit-oiseau-de-nuit, @lunedin, @silnaniewinna, @lenkalost, @ferelden-doglord, @iamem94, @tesham--mutna, @va-fail, and @cirilllach. You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to. Kisses to everyone!!!

__ or __
Tagged by @novaya-model (who came up as the first option to tag... No surprise there.)
Rules: Answer all of the questions, add one question of your own at the end, and then tag as many people as there are questions!
1. Coke or Pepsi?
Pepsi
2. Disney or Dreamworks?
I have always been, and will always be, a Disney child.
3. Coffee or Tea?
Tea (as I drink at least 3 cups a day), but I do love decaf coffee too!
4. Books or Movies?
Depends on what I have time for, but generally I prefer books.
5. Windows or Mac?
I don’t really care (I certainly don’t like all Apple products), but I use Macs.
6. DC or Marvel?
Marvel in general, though I don’t hate DC. Marvel has better heroes, but DC has better villains.
7. Xbox or Playstation?
Xbox, I guess. But as soon as KH3 comes out...
8. Dragon Age or Mass Effect?
I’ve never played either, so I’ll say neither.
9. Night Owl or Early Riser?
I used to be a night owl, but... I hate feeling like I’ve wasted my morning by sleeping in really late.
10. Cards or Chess?
Cards, because I never learned to play chess.
11. Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate. Vanilla is... *shudder*
12. Vans or Converse?
Converse. Always and forever.
13. Lavellan, Trevelyan, Cadash, or Adaar?
...I had to Google what that meant, so I’m probably not in a position to answer this.
14. Paragon or Renegade?
WHAT’S WITH THE OBSCURE REFERENCES?? Looking it up, Paragon is “good” and Renegade is “bad” so I guess I’ll say Paragon, but really?? Who cares!
15. Star Wars or Star Trek?
Star Wars, mostly because I’ve never seen Star Trek. Also because Leia is hair goals.
16. One episode per week or binge watch?
HAH. I finished like 6 seasons of Supernatural in a week. I’m a binge-watcher.
17. Gandalf or Obi-Wan?
BB-8.
18. Heroes or Villains?
Heroes, because watching someone make the right decision that isn’t easy is probably my kink.
19. John Williams or Hans Zimmer?
You make me choose between Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean????? HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!
20. Disneyland/World or Six Flags?
DISNEY. ALL OF THE DISNEY.
21. Forest or Sea?
Forests. The ocean freaks me the fuck out.
22. Flying or Reading Minds?
Ermm... I’m kind of morally against reading peoples’ minds, just on principle. But, for example, in the Inheritance Cycle, Eragon learns to peoples’ intentions through their thoughts without actually reading their thoughts, and I think that’d be nice. I’d feel a lot safer and secure if I could do that. (Also, flying would majorly fuck with my hair.)
23. Twin Peaks or Northern Exposure?
Never seen either, but Twin Peaks sounds more like my kind of movie.
24. Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?
...Harry Potter. I’M SORRY, ARAGORN, I HAVE TO.
25. You’re banished to a deserted island, which Benedict Cumberbatch character would you choose to take with you?
I mean, human-wise I feel like Sherlock has probably been in worse situations and gotten out of them, so that level of ingenuity might be nice. But Smaug could just fly me elsewhere, assuming he didn’t try to eat me first.
26. Train or cruise ship?
Trains. I like solid ground under my feet, not water-breathing animal-infested water. Ugh.
27. Brian Cox or Neil deGrasse Tyson?
Gonna go with Neil, just because I know him better.
28. Art museum or science museum?
Science. I prefer to make art, I guess?
29. Irish Pub or Night Club?
Irish Pub. Gimme over a Guinness over a fruity mixed drink any day.
30. Aang or Korra?
Korra, MA MAIN BITCH. Jk, I haven’t actually watched much of either show. But I’m still gonna go with Korra.
31. Swimming in a pool or lake?
I like not swimming with fish and other critters that could possibly touch me unexpectedly, so... Pool. Always.
32. Classic music or classic literature?
Music. Funnier backstories, much less pretentious.
33. Oxford comma or no oxford comma?
YOU WILL HAVE TO PULL THE OXFORD COMMA FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS. I WILL FIGHT YOU, YOUR MOTHER, AND ANYONE ELSE THAT TRIES TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME.
34. Digital or Paper books?
Paper. Digital is great for travel or books you don’t want people to know you’re reading (not that I have many of those, but... You know.), but there’s something so wonderful about the smell of the paper and the feeling of turning and fiddling with each page as you read.
35. Rainy or Sunny days?
I like a good balance.
36. Fantasy or Science Fiction?
Fantasy. But I do love a good Sci-Fi.
37. Flowers or Succulents ?
Well. I’m kind of torn. I pretty much kill everything I touch, so succulents are probably a better bet. But flowers are just so beautiful, and I love them!
38. Berestain or Berestein?
This continues to fuck me up, but I always thought it was Berentein.
My question: 39. Jazz or Blues?
My tags: @amynchan @insanitysscribblings @miraculouspaon @marinette-buginette @miracufic @my-insanity-is-an-artform @skaylanphear @thecrazydragonlady @thelastpilot @miracusims @portentous-offerings @nootdootjoot @probably-voldemort @sinfulpapillon @qookyquiche @tides-miraculous @ceejles @caprette @gabriel-fucking-agreste @misskittygrimm @dangerous-ladies @kata-chthonia @goldwerewolf @ariaricx @vanesssaives @lizziebennet @geek-fashionista @musicalcarms @clairelutra @yaushie @ferisae @c-cassandra @qinni @purrbunny @isaliteraltrashbaby @barnesrogers @skellydun @soupforyourarmpit @hys-ter-ic
Holy crap that’s a lot of tags 😂

1. Veranda. It's less basic than Times New Roman or Arial but still easy to read and it looks nice. Bonus: it's dyslexic friendly and helps my ADHD.
2. No way in Hell. I type everything because I can't read my own handwriting. Also I lose things.
4. Colonel and other Overly French words that aren't pronounced at all the way they are spelled. Phonics is hard enough!
6. I might accidentally reveal something deeply personal about myself that even I didn't know. I don't want to be perceived.
7. When the words go from my brain to the document without fighting me.
8. Dialogue, that's actually how my outlines work.
9. Probably? I'm religious and believe in spiritual things, so why not?
10. Things definitely stick with me, but I have no object permanence so I can't think of any right this second.
11. It's necessary, but I hate doing it. They go to the graveyard but I'm happy to reanimate them in a new setting or Frankenstein them into new characters whenever possible.
12. Always be able to come up with the word I want. Be able to focus on the WIP I'm trying to write. Perfect spelling and grammar.
13. Relationships and romance are awful to write. Suffering and making my characters miserable is very easy.
14. No, I don't lend books. My aunt borrowed a book and lost it when I was eleven and now I horde my books like a dragon.
15. I don't write in books or get them near water but I will dog-ear a page if its a book i own. If you do the first two we can be friends, but I won't borrow your books. I'm scared of you if you read in the bath, you're too powerful.
16. Another book.
19. I've always used stories to cope and spent a lot of time making up stories in my head but didn't start actually writing them down until a few years ago, once I got some ADHD meds.
20. Eternal happiness. My writing is mostly for myself anyway and I couldn't choose just one WIP.
21. Nope. I could stop writing it down but I could never stop making stories.
23. I'm bundled up in a blanket with my laptop, playing some background noise and snacking on something, preferably sweet.
24. So much. I put in way more time planning and obsessing over minor things than actually writing.
29. I get inspiration from completely random places. When it runs out I just sit and stew in my misery :(
30. I very rarely remember dreams. I've never worked on a WIP in a dream but I've written essays for dream exams.
33. I like fiber arts, like crochet and cross stitch.
34. Necessary and beloved. You can pry my Oxford commas out of my cold, dead, hands.
35. I'm abusive to punctuation and I don't feel bad about it.
36. Nothing. I don't know anything. My brain is completely empty at all times.
37. "Wow, this lady was fucking bonkers."
39. I couldn't stop if I wanted to, and I've tried.
