I am going insane about this, like I have long been aware that not everyone mentally processes visually (not primarily, sometimes not much)... but now I'm in three groupchats with friends who are explaining to me — a person who reflexively over-visualizes every single thing ever, to the detriment of my writing and my self-cringe reflex and probably lots of things — but they're explaining that they only visualize things when they make the effort to??? Brains are wild lads.

I feel like I’m doing something wrong in Engage because I have sooo many units as of chapters 13-14 that just can’t seem to be any good no matter how much work I put into them 😭😭 Jade, Panette, Lapis, Citrinne, Amber, even occasionally Fogado and Timerra are constantly getting one-tapped or aren’t strong enough to finish off an enemy they have weapon-triangle advantage on that’s under half health ☹️ maybe I just have to give it more time but I’ve been grinding a ton for like two days and it’s a little discouraging
#idk I’m not crazy about combat in this game#maybe the 3DS games were too kind to me but#hit percentages feel pointless to me if I’m constantly getting hit by 30-40% chance attacks#whereas in games like fates and awakening in my experience#I HARDLY had units who would drop at a gust of wind#nearly my whole roster could dodge any percent range of attacks#so idk this aspect of the game has kinda put me off lol#but I am enjoying it overall#fire emblem#fe engage#trin talks
