BlackBonnet OTP Challenge 5- kissing

Ooookay, so they're not actively kissing, but the point of me using these challenge prompts is to inspire myself moreso than to perfectly fit into a box and the idea of Stede pulling Ed in by the cravat Ed never gave back wouldn't get out of my head. Ed gets to have his innkeeper keys. Stede gets to have his stubbly chin. I get to have my crumbs of seratonin from looking at pretty men smoochin'.

This is, weirdly enough, the first time I have drawn Stede on the right side of a picture of the two of them (save for the mermaids flag reimagining, but that one's kind of cyclical so I don't quite count it). That's not been a conscious thing; it's just kind of how it happened.

reread Ekleipsis bc I got some very nice comments on it and wanted to revisit it 2 years later and u know what?? I think it still holds up p well! There are slight typos and parts I wish I could’ve lengthened, foreshadowed more, or gotten Deep into the lore/characters abt, but considering I was busting out a chapter a day and had it done in a dang month I do think it’s pretty good as a lil story!! Would love to do more art for it or revisit the world in some way some day. Babies first real Big Original work 🥺 in my mind it’s still kind of the first draft version, but I’m still proud regardless… ❣️

Anya suggested, Loid get a popsicle instead of icecream, so he didn't end up all day in the crapper but she let him have a taste of hers.

One of the weird things about having an OTP with a kid, means you sometimes draw the whole family, because what adults are going out for icecream and leaving their kids at home?

Blackbonnet OTP Challenge 6- Wearing Each Other's Clothes

This one took me a while to decide on what to draw. I challenged myself not to draw anything directly from canon so I couldn't do Ed's iconic leathers. Eventually my roommate suggested the probation onesie and cat bell. I debated which of Stede's season 2 looks to use; eventually I decided to go for the plain white shirt and brown pants since that's what Stede was wearing during the "I'm your captain" scene. My internal backstory for this one is that Ed put on Stede's clothes first and Stede got to reminiscing and decided to surprise Ed.

(Also relevant: I'm ace AF and there's a limit to how spicy I'm willing to get with my drawings; the "kissing" drawing was about as intense as I'll go and I couldn't follow that up immediately with another spicy drawing, so here's something goofier instead.)
