Cameron, This was from last summer. Remember when the girls planned a Disney trip and guilted us into going? Kehlani wore that stupid Mickey Ears hat and an ear to ear smile the entire time we were there. We thought it was going to suck. We rode Harper 's ass about it the entire way there. "Only fun that can happen for adults in a Disney part is sneaking in some rum for their slushys" and "the only hot barely legal clicks there will be escorted by their dads!"

It was a good week. We laughed and teased eachother the entire time. We learned stuff about eachother we never knew; had things in common. It was a reconnect that we all 4 needed and a time I'll never forget. Attack on the three criminal enterprises goes off with a bang, and Sacha is left to sift through the aftermath, searching for wounded, searching for lost souls. What else besides livelihood is lost in the wreckage, who stands leftover with injured pride? And most importantly, who might be vulnerable enough to consider the safety that Death has to offer them when facing the fallout head-on? Death’s eyes and ears watch as Famine packs up camp, moves elsewhere in the city, staking out in their jewel of a casino while their headquarters is left in disappointing ruins. As he lies in wait outside the Hippodrome, Sacha notices something about Famine, time and time again putting their grunts on the petty tasks while their upper members lie in quiet wait, no better than the other gangs in that regard. So much for familia sobre todo, no?

With several boxes of pizza in hand, Sacha approaches the delivery bay, lurking in alleyway for a moment as he observes the back doors swung wide open and two known Famine associates gathered together, smoking cigarettes. Break time, Sacha supposes, all the more satisfied that he’s chosen the pizza delivery approach; he’s not above using greasy food as bribery if that’s what fucking works. Red hat covers hair and eyes, adorned with pizza emblem, the uniform fit to match, but playing the part is more than about wearing the right clothes. In order to better hide in plain sight, they call out to the two men loitering in the bay in a heavily exaggerated Russian accent ( something akin to what their father might sound like ) to say, “Hello! Excuse me!” Desperate pizza delivery person with a quota to meet, they approach, clearly in a rush, not wanting the food in hand to get cold. “Hi! Do you two work here?” They hold up the pizza boxes as they come closer, finally seeing eye to eye with the two men — who he now recognizes as Angel Omer Nacar and Virtue Thomas Rivers. Or, wait, isn’t it Power now? Maybe that’ll be a selling point of Death’s...his old title offered up on a platter.

“I have these pizzas that I need to deliver. To a....” Sacha trails off, pretending to look at a delivery slip, “Rafael Femenias Junior?” Name is butchered in his slathered on accent. “You two look like you might be willing to help a guy out. My boss is gonna kill me if I take too long to get back to the store,” he smiles, “so if I leave these pizzas with you two can I trust they’d get into the right hands?”

I stopped with the contraband to my lips and looked at her sideways, a curious look present. How could I spin this? The options were limitless.

"Why yes. Yes I do have a problem." I turned now to face my oldest little sister. I held the neck of the bottle toward her, donning my best 'as a matter of fact Karen' face, "this is another beer bottle empty with no fuckin Genie. I feel cheated. I want my damn wishes!" I yelled in mock anger. "I mean, c'mon!" I stretched my arms out with my shoulders raised. "When is it the under dogs turn to win?" Happy Monday all! Back in my apartment this week, I have a busy week with work and school once again, and then I’m flying to DC this weekend to see Jose! My finance and accounting classes are both really exhausting right now and I’m falling behind. Tonight’s goal is to pick up groceries and then do a ton of reading. Hope everyone has a great week!

Even between the constant nudging feelings of being unable to create something relatable, to be noticed, or understood. The silence, the diminishing digital numbers, and the constant wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if it simple life effects, fall out of interest, vague differentiation of cultures and shifting tides. Being out of luck, or the faint wrestle of fandom-ic opinions, moods and sides. And between my reality at home, being told on daily basis with colorful variety that my art isn't feeding me as such, its not important, and my efforts are stupidly wasted.

I am thankful

For those special ones who I met and left me a memory to revisit, brief our encounters were or graciouslly still flourishing, I'm grateful for the time and every word and support you've bestowed upon me, allowing me to treat myself and remain connected to my only window to the world and haven- online. When I could, I have saved in treasuring manner your messages and reread under the blanket of white noise, almost unconsciously and tirelessly running my sight across the lines, for being such wonderful spiritual excursion I could hardly believe I'm deserving of and can't get enough of. And grateful for those who follow my trail silently and faithfully with every new burst of randomness that leaves me, and welcoming those who came to company my wavering drawing journey, even if my words don't reach you

Used to having the concept of time as meaningless almost my entire life, but now dears came to inhabited its space, I couldn't help but count every second. Three years now amongst you, witnessing humanity I've never tasted before, grateful for to have the fortune of it happening in my life
