they would be so happy though. over the moon and sun infact! oh, alessio, who had always wanted to have a family of his own. though being a nervous wreck about it too, would go and buy baby clothes, pacifiers and lots and lots of diapers, so that they were ready for when the baby arrived!

talisen would start counting down the days for the birth. while he always wondered what he would be like as a father. he was still mildly intimidated by the thought in all honesty, it took reassurance from you in great amounts to make him believe he would be an amazing father. in all sorts of aspects. he could teach the bebé so much!

“i can not wait to read bedtime stories for the baby. such a simple thing, but truly, i really can not wait.”

rishen would be running the ultrasounds and checkups on you, he did not want anyone else checking on you. that was in his field and she knew what she was doing! everytime she saw the baby’s little shifts and feetsies kicking around during the scans, they couldn’t help but laugh out loud. smiling brightly at the image. he loves to feel for the baby, listen for hiccups too!

“oop— another hiccup! got too much food in there? hehe”

they will all treat you as they always has: like royalty. spoilt and made sure you feel good.

however, they are all very aware of pregnancy hormones, and are also careful around you. making sure that you are not overwhelmed, overstimulated or that you feel bad or discomforted in any way or form!

they bring you the food you like, nevermind the odd combinations it may be. and sit and eat with you as much as they can even if they’re busy.

all of them love to sit down on their knees and murmur or coo at your tummy for the baby to hear them. get accostumed to their voice.

and another thing they adore is watching you talk to the baby too, when you think you’re alone. happily mumbling to it, assuring it that it will grow up to be a kind and amazing individual. and do good in this world, they will grow up with loving parents.

alessio always comes around to help lift up your tummy to give your spine and back a break once the baby begins growing bigger. supporting it gently while you walk around as well.

rishen is the one who ushers you to the couch or bed to make you rest, telling you to lay back on chores and everything else. they all have that covered!! just eat and rest! don’t stress yourself or the baby!

talisen is the one who always makes sure that you are doing okay mentally as well, asking you how you feel about the baby, how you feel about everything. if there’s stuff you need to talk about. he wants to make sure you are in a good mindset during the entire pregnancy. if anyone hurts your feelings or wears you down, they’re gonna have to deal with him!

So, right off the bat, Wesker adores his s/o being pregnant. Like he will show them off and show everyone their round belly and tell everyone. will also have a picture of you pregnant and show it around - his whole pride. after all you're giving him a little heir or heiress!! (or maybe even multiple)

he will make sure you have the best doctors available and will make sure you dont miss a single appointment. if he can he will be at every appointment with you

tries HARD to not cry when he sees the first ultrasound where you can actually see the baby taking form (he fails)

pregnancy photoshoots. that's all I'll say

he's also touching your belly all the time. like casually resting his hands on it, feeling to feel the baby kick, even resting his head on it. he will also talk to the bump. (mostly telling them that they will rule the world one day)

when you get into labour he's completely calm. the hospital bag has been packed since about month 8 so he just needs to grab it and go ahead with you.

makes a few calls on the way to make sure everything is in order for the perfect birth for you, no matter what kind of birth you want

he will be right by your side at all times, holding your hand and brushing your hair out of your face and talking to you. he'll praise you for doing so well with the birth and talk about just how wonderful everything will be once you made it.

once the baby is finally out he'll carefully hug you and kiss your forehead and whisper about how proud he is of you.

let's the doctors and nurses do their thing until they finally bring the baby to you. he let's you hold it first for skin to skin but absolutely adores the sight in front of him.

Once he holds the baby he's just absolutely in awe. he can't believe that little creature is his... he definitely cries again.

For Taylor's first birthday, Glenn shows up late--clearly having been in a rush but still wearing his usual lopsided grin. He gifts the kid this snoopy plushie that's dressed in a santa outfit. The item is nearly as big as his little grandson. And the sight reminds him of seeing Nick for the first time outside of those fuzzy ultrasound images. His eye might have shined a bit at the thought and the fact that his grandson immediately latched onto the toy and his arm when he presented the gift to him. Taylor still has that snoopy in present day, in fact out of the few gifts that have survived his various childhood adventures...this is the only one still in his bedroom, resting on his bed along with those pillows.

The snoopy used to have a hat but its long gone now. He wore it so much as a toddler that the little clear straps that hooked it to the toy fell apart. Now the worn and stitched hat is resting in plastic with a little cop toy in the family awards room. On the off-chance that anyone questions him about his ownership of police propaganda, he is prepared to explain (as a master preparer always is). Taylor's got a ten page booklet that tells this little ex-cop character's heroic and fantastical story. But back to the snoopy santa, Taylor didn't know who Snoopy was until many years later, so he named the toy something else entirely: Detective Snow-feet. The toy has white fur and Santa lives in the north pole (or so his mom tells him), so snow seemed fitting. Now for the detective part though... This super cool dog is undercover as a santa trying to infiltrate someplace. Perhaps a fancy...mall or epic film studio? Sadly some of the extended lore for this beloved sidekick is a bit fuzzy but it adds a nice mystery to things, so Taylor doesn't mind too much. Its fun to make up more info each year too. Usually on his birthday but sometimes during holidays. ---- The detective undercover at a mall--is a vague reference to Glenn not liking mall santas. The ex cop toy is reference to Jodie, but the backstory part is because Taylor likes making up intricate stories for his things, especially if he treasures them deeply. The items and their stories keep him company! Additional note (thank you Isadora for reminding me :D): The film studio part is a reference to both Meryl (at the mountains of dadness character) and Cass. Meryl was a silent film actor and Cass was a former daytime tv actress. Also Nicky was the first one to put the little santa hat on Taylor. He could not resist the cuteness and Cass may have teased him and then cheered him on affectionately--quickly getting her phone camera out for many a photo. Little Taylor was very amused, giggling and wiggling around in his crib. There's this one picture Nicky keeps with him that has the whole Freeman Close Foster Swift family with a bunch of tiny santa hats on and their kiddo (2-3) is in the center with Nicky and Cass holding him up. All have a variety of colorful sweaters on too. It was an in hell photo so there was some snow and hell fire in the bg too. The flames seemed to float and form holiday themed shapes too.

Alice just Announced that she is 5 weeks pregnant and fans are going wild, since she left in July after a few promotions and the big concert Alice found out she was pregnant, she hasn’t said what Jins reaction was but she is so happy and excited, she posted two pictures one of the pregnancy tests and one of her ultrasounds that has cute editing saying due in April of 2023. on April 7th Alice Shared on her Instagram that she had her Little girl, Arin Rosemary Kim, and also shared her Korean name that Jin picked, Aera which means Love, Jin was there for his daughter’s birth and cried as he held her, Alice shared that Jin was sad he wasn’t going to be there for his baby’s firsts but is proud to be a dad. Alice’s parents are moving in with her as she didn’t want to leave Korea as she felt it wasn’t fair to Jin’s parents and brother, so her parents are going to stay in her and Jin’s home until Jin comes home from the military. Her little girl is now almost a year old, and Jin will be home soon to finally bond with her.

Daisy announced on April 13th that her and Hobie were expecting their first child, and Daisy announced the baby is coming December 13th 2023, and even though he won’t be here for her pregnancy, she is still excited and he will be there for the birth. Daisy announced on August 11th that she is having a girl and stated that Hobie was extremely excited for his little girl when he comes home in 16 months. Cat who was introduced to the group in 2016 left in 2018 due to Contract issues, she left after feeling she was being disrespected in the industry, she moved back to her home state of Pennsylvania becoming a youtuber herself with the name CattieLee with 1.89 million subscribers, she is now married to a youtuber by the name Cameron Jude and has a infant Daughter named Wednesday.

On May 24th of 2020 Sunny quit the group due to family issues, and also mental health issues, she is now doing better and is engaged to her high school sweetheart Thomas Settler, they plan on marrying next year, Sunny is also working on music on her YouTube channel, and is gaining a fan base of her own.

A recent Scandal has happened, on January 13th,2021 Yone released a video stating Ukwon was abusive towards her, and claimed the other plutonia members knew about it and did nothing, However two days later Penny released her own video with UKwons current girlfriend claiming Yone was the one that was abusive, that UKwon was going to leave her and Yone lied and said she was pregnant and it was a girl, UKwon then proposed to her, but the girls had no idea what was going on, and they only found out after Penny’s husband Kyung also UKwons group mate told Penny about Yone being pregnant and that’s when the lie was brought to light, so Yone didn’t leave because of health problems, she was kicked out and probably wanted some publicity but Penny called her out for It

Remi left after the 10 year anniversary to pursue her dreams of becoming a solo artist, she is currently living with JHope and planning to marry when he comes back from his Military Training.

Alice is also a former member as she left after the Plutonia 10 year anniversary special, she left as she found out she was pregnant, so now she lives in her home with Jin and setting into mom life, and waiting for Jin to come back from military Training.

Windows Installed in Skulls Help Doctors Study Damaged Brains

Tucker Marr’s life changed forever last October.He was on his way to a wedding reception when he fell down a steep flight of metal stairs, banging the right side of his head so hard he went into a coma.He’d fractured his skull, and a large blood clot formed on the left side of his head. Surgeons had to remove a large chunk of his skull to relieve pressure on his brain and to remove the clot.“Getting a piece of my skull taken out was crazy to me,” Mr. Marr said. “I almost felt like I’d lost a piece of me.”But what seemed even crazier to him was the way that piece was restored.Mr. Marr, a 27-year-old analyst at Deloitte, became part of a new development in neurosurgery. Instead of remaining without a piece of skull or getting the old bone put back, a procedure that is expensive and has a high rate of infection, he got a prosthetic piece of skull made with a 3-D printer. But it is not the typical prosthesis used in such cases. His prosthesis, which is covered by his skin, is embedded with an acrylic window that would let doctors peer into his brain with ultrasound.A few medical centers are offering such acrylic windows to patients who had to have a piece of skull removed to treat conditions like a brain injury, a tumor, a brain bleed or hydrocephalus.“It’s very cool,” Dr. Michael Lev, director of emergency radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, said. But, “it is still early days,” he added.Advocates of the technique say that if a patient with such a window has a headache or a seizure or needs a scan to see if a tumor is growing, a doctor can slide an ultrasound probe on the patient’s head and look at the brain in the office. That way a patient can avoid costly, time-consuming and onerous CT scans or M.R.I.s. Instead of waiting for a radiologist to read the scan, a patient and a doctor can know right away what the patient’s brain looks like.Dr. Mark Luciano, a professor of neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins, is using ultrasound to monitor hydrocephalus patients, who have shunts in their brains to drain excess cerebrospinal fluid. Patients need regular CT scans to see if the fluid is draining properly.In an attempt to assess the windows, Dr. Luciano recently published a study of 37 patients who had the windows placed in their skulls, compared with a larger group of similar patients from the year before the method was developed.Over a one-year period, he saw no risk of infection. The challenge now, he said, is to make the images from ultrasound scans better and to quantify what they show, he said, as well as to monitor their safety for several years.But not everyone is won over.Dr. Ian McCutcheon, a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, said the window “is an intriguing idea.” But, he said, before he uses it to assess brain tumor patients he’d need evidence from a rigorous clinical trial that ultrasound is as accurate as an M.R.I. in detecting changes, like a growing tumor.That trial, he said, “has not been done yet.”Others, like Dr. Joseph Watson, director of the brain tumor program at Georgetown University, called the technique “frivolous.”“You are going through a small port,” he said. “It doesn’t give you enough of a picture of the whole brain” that he gets with a CT scan or M.R.I.But Mr. Marr’s doctor, Netanel Ben-Shalom, assistant professor of neurosurgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, disagrees. In his experience, he said, “as long as the window is located above the tumor, the cavity is clearly demonstrated.”Dr. Ben-Shalom was won over from the moment he tried implanting a window a few years ago. He was a resident at Johns Hopkins, and his patient had a brain tumor.“It was amazing,” Dr. Ben-Shalom said. He could see the entire brain, he said, and all its structures.He moved to Lenox Hill in January 2022, became a consultant for Longeviti, the company that makes the windows, and has been implanting and using its clear polymethylmethacrylate windows ever since.On an afternoon earlier this year, Mr. Marr sat on a wooden chair in a tiny office at Lenox Hill, grinning as Dr. Ben-Shalom slid an ultrasound probe over the window in his skull. A cluster of medical students looked on.For Mr. Marr, life was difficult after the removal of the piece of his skull to treat his swelling brain. His head was distorted, with a large dent. He was left with fatigue and dizziness because his brain was inadequately shielded from atmospheric pressure.During the scan, Mr. Marr’s brain looked perfect, Dr. Ben-Shalom said. The midline that separates the two hemispheres — and which had been pushed to one side after Mr. Marr’s injury — was exactly where it should be. The structures of his brain looked normal, Dr. Ben-Shalom said. The ultrasound even showed his brain’s pulsing.Mr. Marr is young and healthy but, Dr. Ben-Shalom said, anyone who has had brain surgery needs surveillance. If Mr. Marr comes in one day with nausea and vomiting or a severe headache, or if he had a seizure, his doctors would need to look at his brain. The acrylic window makes it easy, Dr. Ben-Shalom said.At the University of Southern California, Dr. Charles Liu and his colleagues are taking the ultrasound idea a step further. In a research project, he is studying the use of ultrasound as a simpler and cheaper way to do the sort of studies now done with f.M.R.I., a method that uses M.R.I. scanners to examine the brain’s activity.For the study, he needed a patient who required a skull restoration for medical reasons and who would volunteer to have one with a specially designed window. If the idea succeeded, he and the team thought they might some day be able to use the method on intact skulls.The hope is to detect tiny signals from changes in blood flow in different parts of the brain as patients perform different activities. That, Dr. Liu said, “could give unprecedented insights into brain functions.”He found such a patient — Jared Hager, 39, who had a traumatic brain injury when he crashed his skateboard. He had spent two and a half years with a large piece of his skull missing.Dr. Liu met Mr. Hager when he was admitted to Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, Calif., part of the Los Angeles County public safety net health system.When Dr. Liu met Mr. Hager, he was uninsured and homeless — he and his brother were living in a van. And Mr. Hager was missing a large chunk of skull. He was scheduled to have his skull restored, but Dr. Liu offered him a choice: a standard prosthesis or one with a specially designed window optimized for brain studies.Before his surgery, the Rancho Los Amigos Foundation provided free housing at a facility next to the hospital for patients and their families. But Dr. Liu worried about what would happen after Mr. Hager was discharged.“When you do this kind of surgery, it’s a big operation,” he said. “My goodness, what if we do surgery on this guy and he ends up in a van in downtown L.A.?”Through the Rancho Los Amigos Foundation Dr. Liu got Mr. Hager an apartment in Long Beach.Mr. Hager has become a regular presence in Dr. Liu’s lab, working with its scientists to discover as much about his brain as they can.“I’m never going to stop helping with anything Dr. Liu needs,” he said. I see a lot of pro-choicers spreading misinformation with the recent case of a woman going through a mismanaged miscarriage in Texas. They claim that the law prevented a D&C and required a specific number of ultrasounds, therefore it’s putting women with wanted pregnancies in danger.

However:

1. Mismanaged miscarriages happen with or without abortion law, so please understand that abortion alone will not prevent these cases from happening. Please see the pain of abused patients regardless of the state law.

2. The TX heartbeat law does not require a specific number of ultrasounds to be performed. In most hospital systems, up to two are required to confirm findings. Yes this is stressful and can be traumatic, but you will find this procedure done even in very pro-choice states. During this time, a bereavement doula, chaplain, or other patient advocate can help the patient admist the sterilized medical procedures.

3. Still, the fact that the heartbeat was confirmed to be gone at the second ultrasound should have lead to the doctor respecting the woman’s wishes for a D&C. Instead, the doctor refused and demanded a third, unnecessary ultrasound. This delay in removal caused the patient to be put on a ventilator at the threat of infection. THIS IS MISCARRIAGE MANAGEMENT AND OBSTETRIC ABUSE. The law did not require this terrible decision making, it is all on this irresponsible doctor.

As usual, obstetric violence, abuse, and negligence is overshadowed by the worship of abortion. If a doctor clearly ignores the law and harms the patient due to their terrible care, then the family has every right to switch care to another provider and lawyer up to get justice. For far too long women have had to suffer at the hands of uncaring doctors in ALL states regardless of abortion status. I am SICK of this problem being overshadowed by abortion politics. If you care about women’s health, see the broader picture and team up with unlikely allies to get bad doctors and other professionals out of the system.

Chapter 5: Where Were You?

Warnings: ANGST, so much angst, miscarriage, medical tests, mentions of D&C, explicit language, emotional distress.

A/N: This chapter was hard to write, but I'm so glad I did. It was so cathartic for me, and I'm sorry if it wasn't where you guys wanted this to go. I also apologize about Matt. I'm a firm believer that Matt Murdock would be ecstatic about having a kid, but this is season 2 Matt, when all he cared about was being Daredevil. You were sitting in the aftermath of the shootout in Senator Ori’s hotel room. Detective Sergeant Brett Mahoney was going through your statement, combing through each and every word of what you remembered. He knew you helped Castle escape, but couldn’t do anything about it, not while New York was painting Frank as a terrorist, saying that he was working with Lewis Wilson.

“It’s funny how you and Castle keep crossing paths. What was he even doing here?” Brett asked.

You shook your head, “I think he was looking out for me. Sergeant, you and I both know Frank Castle isn’t a terrorist.” You were absolutely sure about that. You listened as Brett tried, and failed, to put together a picture of what happened. A cramp had your face scrunching up in pain, your breath a sharp exhale as you breathed through the sudden pain. I shouldn’t be cramping, you thought. You knew immediately that something was wrong, your hand flying to your belly. “Brett-” you gasped as another spasm had you doubling over. “I think I need a doctor.” The officer rushed over to you. Looking down, you saw blood seep through the seam of your pants. “Brett, I’m serious. I think– I think I’m losing my baby.”

“You’re pregnant?!” He shouted the question, calling for a medic over his radio and reaching for your hand. He tried to comfort you as uncontrollable sobs clawed their way up your throat. What were you doing? You had put the life of your child at risk to follow up on a story.

“I– I– I wasn’t– I didn’t– I didn’t expect to be held hostage.” You stuttered as you wept, holding your stomach as if your touch would magically stop this from happening, as if your own two hands could keep your world from falling apart. A medic entered the room with a gurney and helped you onto the stretcher, strapping you in. Brett wished you well as they rolled you out of the room, but he didn't follow.

The emt's asked you a million questions. How far along? What happened while you were in the hotel? Has this ever happened before? Is there anyone you can call to be there for you? You only had so many answers. The hospital ran test after test. Urine, blood work, ultrasounds. Every single one pointed to one thing. You were losing your baby - Matt’s baby.

You called Matt over and over. Each call went straight to voicemail. Eventually you gave up and called Karen who showed up at the hospital almost immediately. Foggy wasn’t far behind her. It was nice having them there, but it didn't help to ease the bone deep ache of loneliness that had settled over you. The one person you needed, the only person you wanted, was nowhere to be found. Karen and Foggy both tried calling him, but still no answer.

The doctor came in to speak with you. Karen pulled a protective Foggy out of the room to give you your privacy. Your levels of hcG were slowly depleting, he said stiffly, and they were just waiting to see if you would need a D&C. It was all so clinical, so matter of fact. You barely had time to grasp the fact that you lost your child and that Matt was AWOL. You tried calling him one more time before they wheeled you to your overnight room.

“Hi, you’ve reached Matt Murdock. Please leave a message.” Beep.

“It’s me. Again. I don’t know where you are or if you’re even alive.” You sniffled, “But I could really use you right now. Um, something happened today. I was– Fuck, I was doing an onsite interview. There was a bomb.” You let out a choked sob, “I was taken hostage, Matt. I don’t want to leave this on your voicemail. Answer your phone, asshole.” You hung up the phone, tossing it at the foot of your bed with a frustrated scream.

A nurse came in with some paperwork for you to sign before they could move you. She took the papers after you scribbled your signature, telling you it wouldn’t be too much longer. Her face was kind and her eyes were sad and it took everything you had not to scream at her, at the injustice of it all. You just laid on the hard hospital bed, staring at the white walls. One more time. You told yourself as you reached for your cell. One more time. If he doesn’t answer, I leave it on a voicemail.

One ring. Two rings. Three.

“Hi, you’ve reached Matt Murdock. Please leave a message.”

The air decompressed, and the hospital doors opened with a hiss. Hurriedly, Matt, still bruised from his fight the night before, used his cane to make his way to the front desk. The nurse looked up at Matt, seeing the contusion on his face. "Do you need help sir?"

Matt shook his head fervently. "No. No. My girl– my girlfriend. She came in for a possible– shit. Sorry. A miscarriage." Matt stammered over his words. He gave them your name and then his.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Murdock. You aren't listed on her paperwork. I can't tell you anything." Matt ran a hand down his face, before thanking the nurse.

He whipped out his phone as he walked away from the desk. He called Karen, knowing she would know where you were. She picked up after the first ring. "Where the hell are you, Matt? We've been calling–"

"Where is she? I'm at the hospital but they won't tell me anything. Where is she, Karen?" Matt cut her off, begging for answers.

Karen scoffed on the other end. "She doesn't want to see you. She needed you, and you were off God knows where, doing God knows what." Karen didn't get angry often, she was the more understanding one of the bunch. "I held her hand though, Matt. So at least she wasn't alone." Click.

He cursed under his breath. "Excuse me," he turned and said to the nurse. "Can you at least tell me if she's here? I'm the– I was the father." A sad smile crossed the nurse's face.

"She was discharged a few hours ago." The nurse whispered. Matt's lip quivered as he thanked her. He exited the hospital slowly, before tossing his cane haphazardly. Taking off at a sprint, Matt made his way to your apartment.

You were curled up on your couch, drowning in the silence. The doctor told you the pain would subside over the next few days. What they didn't tell you was how you'd feel so empty, so broken, so lost. Ellison made sure you took substantial time off work, ensuring you'd have a job when you felt ready to return.

There was a knock at your door. You ignored it, like you had many others before. Then you heard him, "It's me. Please, let me in." Matt's voice filtered through the thick wood of your door. You rolled over on the couch. "I know you're there. I can hear your heartbeat. Please." His soft begging pulled at you, sinking claws into your chest, urging you to open the door.

Slowly you rose, your legs feeling like concrete. Undoing every lock on your door, you opened it. A very distraught Matt rushed in, pulling you into his arms.

"Get off me" You mumbled, pushing him away. He released you instantly, stepping back. "What are you doing here?" You said, more hateful than you intended.

Matt listened as you shuffled around, placing yourself back on your couch. "I went to the hospital–"

"I was discharged this afternoon. They kept me overnight." You snapped at him. He came to sit next to you.

"I should have been there. I should have– Fuck, I am so sorry." The pain on his face told you he was sincere. "What were you doing in that hotel?" He asked, worry thickly laced in his voice.

There it was; the inevitability of blaming you, the accusation that this was your fault. It was your job to provide a safe place for your baby to grow, and you failed. "I was working, Matt. It was an onsite interview. I didn't expect to be held hostage and almost blown up." You were despondent, cold. “I would be dead, too, if it weren’t for Frank. As if you even care.”

“Castle? The Punisher?” You could hear the disbelief in his voice. “Only you would get caught in the middle of his bullshit.” Matt huffed, annoyed.

You scoffed at his words. “At least he was there for me.” A low blow. One you felt Matt deserved. “Where were you, huh? Where were you when I called? When Karen or Foggy called? When I was–” You gasped for a breath, “Where the fuck were you, Matt? When I was losing our baby?!” You exploded, tossing one of your couch pillows across the room, knocking a picture off the wall.

Matt flinched as the glass shattered, hearing the anger, the hurt, the disappointment. He reached for you, wanting to console you, wanting to grieve with you. You slapped his arm away. “Where. Were. You.” You asked again, pausing between each word.

Matt sighed deeply. “I was fighting. I was with Elektra. We were–”

“Get out.” You cut him off, not wanting to hear anything else he had to say. It wouldn’t change anything. At the end of the day, you still lost your baby. You still lost Matt.

He ran a hand down his face, wiping away tears. “Please, just let me explain.”

You stood, pointing toward your door. “Get out. I have my answers, Matt. I was having a miscarriage and you were off fucking your ex. Now leave.” You said through gritted teeth, trying to hide the hurt in your voice.

Matt stood, walking slowly toward your door. He could hear the teardrops falling off your lashes, catching in the fabric of your shirt and hitting the floor. How did it come to this? All he wanted was to make Hell's Kitchen a safer place. He never wanted to hurt you. He never wanted to make you cry. He loved you. He loved you more than anything. Except he didn't, did he? He chose to be Daredevil. He chose to chip away at Matt Murdock until the only thing left was the man in the mask. He closed your door behind him. He heard you get up and flip the locks into place. Then he heard the sobs.

He slid down your door until his ass hit the floor. He listened to your cries, your struggle to breathe in-between. His heart shattered when he heard you whisper "I'm sorry" over and over, like this was your fault. That's how he made you feel. He did this to you. With a heave, Matt willed himself away from your door and away from you before he caused you any more pain.
