(included images as well) It will be interesting to hear it from you, as someone who reviewed each episode of this series.(and was fun to read) I can wait if this take some time to answer back, no need to rush(> ◡ 0) Honestly ,this show is so unique & such an underrated gem!! It's like you said: "DAMN. ODDTAXI WHY YOU SO GOOD"

LOL thanks, I’m flattered that you found my weekly ramblings fun to read ^^; I didn’t intend to review the series though. I was planning to just make a series of minor complaints about an otherwise good story, but... well. It was clear by episode 5 that the writing was deeper than I thought.

Having said that, here are my favorite moments for each characters anyway!

It didn’t initially carry much weight, but once you realize he did this to try and remain relevant in the entertainment world, it’s kinda sad. Especially with Baba getting all the attention recently.

This annoyed the hell out of me. I thought this was one of those typical Japanese TV commentary panels. When I wondered if “Don-chan” might be Donraku, I thought of this scene and concluded “Nah, can’t be him. Would you act all calm - let alone appear on TV like that - if your daughter was missing? Nah.”

How wrong I was of course, but this scene has always stuck in my head.

Of course, the president of the agency being in the shot was probably meant as a clue of some sort... But we didn’t know that yet, did we?

I would have preferred if Tanaka’s story of sending a message was true. It would be much more believable. Then Tanaka sends another message to ditch-11 then and there...

And then Dobu’s phone rings. Surprised pikachu face.

Also, Dobu quit playing some time ago but was still Rank 1??? What the hell?

Of course, there’s the entire sequence of him flying his taxi... But again, that’s more of a nod to the story, not him. If it counts as “memorable scene involving Odokawa”, then there you go! That final sequence was just beautiful to watch. ^^

Time for Luffy's fashion exam! Now, I'll be honest, I did skip an outfit because I decided I will be ending this whole thing with the Strawhat fashion show in Episode of Luffy. Also, sorry for the posting gap, I remembered I have other unfinished post sets. That being said, this is a very long one so let's do this!

Kid Luffy, Post-Enies Lobby & Fish-Man Island: I think it's super cute when Luffy has white t shirts with red based logos because it reminds me of the first picture. Makes him look baby plus, they can always be found in cute domestic EPs or fun, cute flashbacks. The shorts change over time and that's also kinda cute, a range of cuffs is a nice change up. It's nice to see the red contrast the blue shorts and the white is a nice color on him cos it contrast his hair!

Romance Dawn, Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark, Sabaody Archipelago, Amazon Lily, Marineford & last Dressrosa outfit: This look is the pre Luffy look. It's the pre Timeskip look everyone thinks of is cuffed shorts, Kimono sandels and sleeveless vest (and Strawhat, obviously) but have you ever seen them all in a line? It's mad. Each outfit is the same basic look bit more are more spicy each time! I like the Thriller Bark and Sabaody Archipelago looks a little bit more cos it's nice to see that jacket open and it feels like he was trying something new. I also feel that the buttons on the jacket look like the ones on Shanks' pegged ankle sailor pants when we first see him so that's cool. (it took me hours to find the name for his trousers, oh my fucking god) The last Dressrosa outfit feels like a nice callback to the rest of the line up here without being too much cos it's just a red vest top instead and I do find it funny it's like the Enies Lobby and it's used in Dressrosa because of the jokes people make about Robin and Law being so similar.

Timeskip: This is it lads, it's the one true icon itself, the post look! ☺️ When I sit back and look at it I see all the people this look is influenced by and want to cry at how masterful it really is. (Now, I do wanna say that I didn't come up with this nor am I the first to say it and I am definitely probably looking too much into this but) The yellow belt is taken from Shanks' red belt the first time we see him and the Shanks look Luffy is more familiar with. Now onto the jacket. I know it won't stand out as to why for most but it's Ace inspired! When Ace leave to become a pirate, the start of his adventure, he has his jacket open and Luffy having his jacket open also shows his scar from the ending of Ace's adventure. I also really appreciate how no one hides scars in this anime. Also, someone said that the style of the jacket and it's fancy frills could be in reference to Sabo's little jabot collar and honestly I do see it. it's quite subtle unlike Shanks' but not as hard to catch as Ace's so I enjoy thinking that it's there too. Lastly, he still has his cuffed shorts and kimono sandels because it's still Luffy's outfit at the end of the day and he is still who is is, just with a stronger appreciation of what people have done for him now. It's also his colour pallette for the pure fact he is the main character n needs his pallet. also sometimes he just has normal wooden sandels but the same outfit sometimes, it's a small detil a lot of people overlook but I prefer the sound of his Kimono sandels 😊

Dressrosa: I love this outfit cos it's stilly but also has very nice vibes. Looks ready for the beach but is really throwing hands and that's the best kind of outfit, it's a nice expectation subversion tbh. I also like how he tried to hide the Straw hat but not... All of it? And I love how the crew didn't actually question it either. It would have been super easy for one of them to just tell him to leave it behind or something but I do really love how respectful they always are of the hat. I myself have a hat that's super important to me and when I loose it I go mad.

Whole Cake Island: I love this arc for outfits! I swear if the actual content of it doesn't kill me, the act looks will 😭 it's all so magical and it knows it is! Like I said before, white is a good color on him as he has black hair but for the same reason, so is black! In this arcs outfit range, the Staw hat seems almost invisible and his outfit gets less and less 'Luffy' as the arc gose on showing this is not about him. He's not the focus of this arc and you can see that in a lot of the outfits thb. I also like the lack of blue and yellow, 2/3 of his colors as Sanji is often associated with those too as we've talked about before. Also, I like the little red strips on the white jacket with the gold buttons, idk why and I think it's nice that the last 2 outfits are so simple in general, it's a nice look for him. oh, what's that? A Pink jabot? Your killing me Lu, straight up killing me here lil' bro! Side note, is this the first time in canon Luffy has worn a suit jacket or is it the only time I've noticed? Cos DAMM!! Shits sick as fuck and I actually love that when wearing a suit jacket as such he always keep short on 😆

Spa Island, Z's Ambition & Strong World: WHOS READY FOR A RELAXING SUNNY DAAAYY!? (pun not intended but very much enjoyed) I actually adore the fact Luffy still tries to go swimming cos it was his favourite thing to do as a kid so like fuck Luffy is gonna give up on that. He's got his safety measures ready, what more do you want from him? I mean I personally want him not to swim with his hat on cos it's litrally Staw and that's not good for water but anyway Z's Ambition, am I right!? The top is so fucking cute and I just noticed those shorts are also ✨designer✨ fancy man!! Now, the pic of Zoro is the one I missed out before and it's also from Z's Ambition. I love that Luffy has the shark top but Zoro has the ocean shorts. I really love Zoro in this purple cos and thick white stripes really work with the ocean waves. It's really well put together and hes got dark brown sandels on to off set all the white but keep the purple from being a stand out color, it's cool! Than the last Luffy looks like he's at a fashion show. It looks like the shorts come from a kids set the shark top belongs to. Imagine those together, it'd be so cute. However, it isn't an ocean patten, those are clouds cos Nami has a bikini top with the same pattern in Skypiea and it's actually one of my favourites for her.

Boss Luffy Historical Special! This filler AU is so much fun, I think any it a lot. He has his hair up in that super cute and useless way that doesn't actually do much but I do have my hair like that a lot n it's just... nice? Idk, it's strange buy I like he did that. I really enjoy his Kimono more that the actual Wano one cos it's a lot more simple look. The Sai being tucked in in that way is also cool but kinda makes it look like it's stabbing him a bit 👁️👄👁️. I like the pin strips being like a faded purpleish cos if you just glance at it, it makes it look it fuzzy. The belt also looks very nice with the middle ligter bit. It really feels like the Wano one was inspired by this is a way cos of the color matches. Like, it's probably not but still.

3D2Y, Adventure of Nebulandia 😍 & Heart of Gold: Hat-less Luffy is both a sin and a blessing. Regardless, I LOVE OP BOYS IN HOODIES!! I had to show you this specific the 3D2Y because we don't see the hood and it's soooo cute cos it a paw 😍 but also 😬 cos it's like... Kuma's paw the thing that cause 3D2Y in the first place. But that's also why it's so cool at the same time and AHHHHHH 😄 Now! On to Nebulandia! I really like this movie but also in canon, how does he have that jumper? Who made it for him and can I have one? It's Usopp flag design so I guess it could be him but he doesn't seem the type. Point is I want one. Last of this set is some really cosy outfits!! "How much fur?" "Yes" am I right? Like the first one is sooooo cosy with all the fur! Plus, a funky new bamboo hat, always a good thing to have a new hat. I appreciate that you can see the zips on these too. Then the orange turtle neck one with little fluffy bits is just here cos it's so out of his usual looks, I had to at least mention it.

Strong world & Film Z: The shorts on the first one are really cute cos it's a light rosey pink with red fur and just a plain solid dark blue colour jacket works really well. Not to mention the fact he has a super cute orange and yellow flight helmet hat with goggles on under the Staw hat. The 2 bag straps also make an X which is a nice detail. The 2nd outfits in this movie are super fuckin cool ngl. It's so strange to see them all dress in black and have guns but I like the red shirt for him with the yellow highlighted parts. Makes the Straw hat actually work with the outfit instead of ignoring it. Film Z brings us the same flight helmet hat just brighter and without the goggles but also opens with this T-Shirt and Luffy being silly with it. I think that's the only reason to mention it, it's funny. Then the obligation pirate outfit, always stunning plus the meat belt.

Film: Gold & Stampede (also used in Cidre Guild): these are my top 3 Luffy outfits no matter what else I see. I love the straw cowboy hat sooooo much cos it's very Luffy. I like the balls they has as a team to choose white for all of them, considering they are all quite messy people, living for that dad shirt and I like the Golden chain around his neck but am always confused as to why it was never used against him. Like dude could and should have tried to choke him at least once, right? Anyway, the dress! Now, the dress isn't actually that good but it's my favourite because it shows how Luffy has no fucks about gendered things. On to of that, a big pink flower is wonderful and look at his confidences in it, he's so proud of it the boom, Nami told him he can't wear it! Lastly, the Stampede outfit!!! Just like the Nebulandia jumper, I have no idea who made it but it's irrelevant cos it's beautiful and I want it so badly. I like that it's white and red stripes, gives thenprefect vibes for Stampedes opening. The shirt is actually too big for him, you can see on his arms but it's actually super cute. I love the simple look of these shorts then the fact his yellow belt is replaced with white bandages and the black on the kimono sandels are now red? It's such a simple pallet and it's truly the best!

I also just wanna add, I think it's really cute when Luffy has the Straw hat on his back just cos his hair is really cute. Idk why, it's looks kinda cursed but cute at the same time

Does anyone still remember my sims 2 to sims 4 uberhood project from like a lifetime ago? Well I’ve been going back to in since like a month. I finished Veronaville/Oasis Springs and Desiderata Valley/Newcrest in the meantime. I’ve also remade the premade sims to make them look more accurate to their sims 2 originals and to match their traits even more to their personalities. I own more packs now so the builds look way better (though I didn’t revised the Pleasantview/Willow Creek lots). My goal is to finish and really play this save! I always wanted to play an Uberhood in the sims 2 but I don’t have the nerves to do so. But with the Story Progression of MCCC I might be able to skip households that aren’t interesting to me. We’ll see how this works out in the end. There is still a lot of work ahead of me. Let me know if you are interested in pics! Under the cut some notes to which world will be which ‘hood and some thoughts about them and my system for giving sims 2 premades sims 4 traits (mainly for my own reference when I’m not on my usual device).

Oasis Springs -> Veronaville -> Done Might be a funny decision, I was even asked before why I decided to do so. I stated that Veronaville always gave me Mediterranean vibes, I never gave Veronaville a winter season in sims 2. And I mean climate change is real you guys! This is probably what a Mediterranean area looks like today.

Willow Creek -> Pleasantview -> Done This is the obvious choice I guess. All makeovers can be found in the tag above. Sims have been remade.

Newcrest -> Desiderata Valley -> WIP Desiderata Valley has quite the suburban vibe to me, with the skyscapers in the background of Newcrest I thought that was really fitting. The lots are a bit small (as are a lot of lots in sims 4) but I made it work. Currently recreating the sims. I always had a soft spot for DV and I missed playing them. Some lots are really hideous!

Granite Falls -> Three Lakes I don’t own Outdoor Retreat but I plan to build the lots I planned for it anyway and save them to the gallery (if I ever get the GP).

Magnolia Promenade -> Bluewater Village (partial) In Magnolia Promenade I’ll build the own businesses by the Ramirez, Jacquet and Landgraab family.

Windenburg -> Bluewater Village I know that a lot of players see Windenburg more like Veronaville but I thought the whole setting with the big urban part would be more fitting to a Shopping District. Still don’t know who to handle home businesses...

San Myshuno -> Downtown (partial) and Belladonna Cove (partial) It makes sense to turn San Myshuno into Downtown. The Apartments will be filled with Belladonna Residents though.

Forgotten Hollow -> Downtown (partial) The vampire parts of Downtown would go to Forgotten Hollow. I don’t own the Vampires GP though. I’ll still build the lots and to the same as with the Three Lakes lots. Might get Vampires in the future...

Brindleton Bay -> Riverblossom Hills Those two ‘hood just give me the same vibes, idk...

Selvadorada No changes to the hood. I don’t own the pack, I don’t plan on getting it and even if I would, I’d have no idea what else to turn it into.

Del Sol Valley -> Belladonna Cove (partial) This would be like the uptown part of Belladonna Cove. I don’t own the pack so same as for Granite Falls and Forgotton Hollow applies.

Strangerville -> Strangetown Do I really need to elaborate this? I don’t think so. The lots in this world are really small and the Strangetown lots tend to be huge so I gotta improvise, but I’ll make it work!

Sulani -> Twikki Island This is pretty obvious too I think. With the possibility to have rental homes in residential worlds I could turn Sulani de facto into a vacation hood. Yet I don’t own the EP so same as above applies.

Glimmerbrook -> Magic and Belladonna Cove (partial) Glimmerbrook will be the homes to all thise magical beings from apartment live (and a not so magical neighbor of the Cordial sisters).

Britechester -> SSU, LFT, ALT This one is really giving me a headarche. I’ll include one residential lot from each S2 University and merge the Sororities and Fraternities of the SSU and LFT. They’ll move into Dorms I think. Don’t know what to do with the rest of the students yet.

Evergreen Harbor -> Belladonna Cove (partial) Probably just made this decision because there are apartments in Evergreen Harbor too. Will turn it into the low and middle class part of Belladonna Cove. I really don’t like this world, guys it’ll probably be a lot of community lots.

Mt. Komorebi -> Takemizu Village Guessed it, right? xD See Sulani on the how to. Mt. Komorebi will see a special inhabitant as it has one lot more than Takemizu.

I’m finna break down the starting line-up and 6th man for the colors women utilize on their nails and toes.

THE NAIL-TOE POLISH INFINITY STONES

What it do? It’s been a few years since ya boy been here but I’m back like I never left. Today I’m gonna talk about the colors the womenz use on their nails and toes and break down what that color means. If you reading this, take mental notes, because this can save you from getting involved in a terrible situation. And btw, no, I do not suck toes I just cherish and appreciate a woman that take care of them shits. Now that that’s out the way, let’s get started.

1st. At point Guard, we have the white toes. No matter what your ethnicity is, no matter how bright, dark, pale, or tanned your skin is, white toes is undefeated. When processed and layered correctly, there’s no way white toes will fail you. White toes will have a beat shorty move up a couple ranks when you see them out and about. Me, I’m picky, but I know it’s a lot of savage heathens out there that doesn’t care about a thing. This here is your tesseract from Marvel’s “Captain America,The First Avenger. The first toe infinity gem. This doesn’t mean all white toes are going to be fire. Make sure you fellows check for the knicks and scratches, (and try to do it before she blurts it out) too. Nah boo-boo, you ain’t finna get off just cause you said it out loud before my eyes shifted down to them thangs. I’m finna fire you up in front of everyone so you know not to make this mistake again. When the toes white, you gotta do hourly checks, set some alarms on your phone or something. Keep them in top shape at all times. White toes are usually a great sign, everything is in tact, shorty isn’t crazy, although I was wrong maybe 2 times out of a million, those are still OK numbers, right?

2nd. French tips. Like white toes, I have yet to see any misses with this wave. This wave looks even better when you have one of them jobs that require you to dress business-savvy. Spanish women are undefeated with the French tips. A miss has never been reported. Bro. I was watching the Selena movie, with J-Lo...funny thing, I wasn’t even looking at J-Lo(we know her stance is solidified out here) but her fan-club president Yolanda that killed her (RIP) had the French tips in one scene. Now, Yolanda isn’t someone you’d normally talk about, but the fact that it caught my eye on HER, powerful. That is why this is your power infinity stone. Spanish women will forever hold the belt when it comes to the French tips.

3rd. But before that, RIP KOBE. So, my small forward is going to have to go to matte black. Buuuuut☝🏾, it’s one of them colors you have to pull off correctly. You can’t have matte black the same length of time you would have the white or French tips. It just doesn’t go right with every single thing. For example, casual events requiring y’all to wear dresses, and you have yellow or pink or one of them fluorescent colors, matte black shouldn’t be your choice of color for the nails and tosies B. I’m not saying it’ll look awful, but you can come better than that. That’s going to throw the vibes completely off. Come in here looking like that, I’m gonna have to assume that Lil Peep’s greatest hits is heavy in your rotation (RIP) . Nah, I’m good. How deceiving the matte black can be, this is your mind stone, held by the one and only Loki, the irony!😂

4th, we have our power forward: yellow. This the color for our Nubian queens. But I will say, all ethnicities can pull this off, but In this category the Spanish delegation comes in last. But it’s not a bad last, it looks good on y’all! It’s just that it’s so close to your complexion, it look like y’all got extendos on y’all fingers. Like why you and Lord Voldemort got the same hand size shorty? You out here palming basketballs and shit. I’m good. White women can pull this off for sure but black women crushes the competition for this one. Dark skin or light. Sometimes It can fail the Lightskin complexion cause it’ll put you in the same boat with the Spanish women. But it’s not a complete failure, it’ll still look good. And it’s super dope on darkskin women cause it brings out light on top of the dark chocolate beauty. I do have my worries with the yellow colored warriors though. From my experience, the girl was either sidity or conceited. That’s not fact that’s from my experience, again. Yellow toed girls the type to want to showcase on every single social media platform the same pic over and over again for likes and thirsty folks to comment just making their heads bigger. The look is there but what it means, makes you want to think about the risk you’re about to take. Think long and hard on it Kings. Black women for the win, so it’s only right this is our soul stone.

At the 5, we have teal. Slept on but very dominant!! Teal one of them colors that’s gonna always catch your attention. Definitely held down by the white women, and they crush it every time. It’s more of a summer, beach type wave, but believe me, if it’s December and it’s 6 inches of snow on the ground and the nails and toes teal, I will not be mad at you..not one bit. This isn’t fact but my outlook on it, teal one of them sneaky colors. You don’t think about it but when you see it, you like oooh shit. Makes you think about the girl, right? Who knows what tricks she might have up her sleeve. I’m still doing my studies and research on teal as the days goes by but this one is in the air. I gotta hit a gym or a Starbucks and gather some more data for my lab. Since I have to play the guess game at the moment with this one, by default this is the reality stone.

For our 6th man, off the bench, helping contribute to the cause is orange. Orange, like the first 2 is elite with ANY nationality. Black white Spanish Asian...wait..

*I feel like I have to do this. Asian woman run the whole nail game in general. 9x out of 10 they the ones making sure your nails and toes right, and making sure it’s not a miss in sight! I have never seen an Asian girl with fucked up, chipped, or scratched nails. They shit be flawless! I went to a grade school that was predominantly black and Asian. I remember around that time when girls were trying to get right and doing nails themselves, the Asian girls would come in cruuuuushing shit. 😂😂😂 I HAD to give y’all the special shout-out out, you are appreciated for taking care of the womenz. Back to business.*

I feel like if her nails are orange, it’s an indicator that she is shy, nervous, etc. You gotta watch how you approach them, you just tryna get shorty number and next thing you know she put the supreme vice grip on her purse. The heel cadence is picking up faster and faster. Abort mission bro. If you know like I know, dip! You wasting your time, which is why this is the time stone.

I don’t trust red polish at all. No matter your ethnicity, nationality, religion, political stance.. shit, if you family and come to the reunion with it, I ain’t believing nothing you tell me. But red just got that I’m flirty, I can do bad and not care, I know I’m the shit, I’ll put a knife to your balls while your sleep type vibe. I ain’t with it. It’s overrated also.

Aight yall, that’s it, when you see those colors remember what I said. And remember, in “life goes on” with Lil Baby and Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna said “I like when that white on her toes.” Game over.

And I wish one of y’all would try to say this post racist or anything of that nature. I’ve had black, white, Asian, Spanish and Native American toes twiddling on my lap before you made it to first base. I don’t see color.

Welcome to 2019

Version 3.0 : Final Version - Wow. February and finally, the 9th is here. All of you my 488 followers can finally enjoy it (372 by the end of 2017). I’ve never been that late to write a sum up but it’s pretty obvious that if it took me so much time to do it, then deep down I didn’t want to do it. Indeed I was about to let that sink in and leave this post with the version 2.0. But I remembered I had one person to honor. And this is what this year 2018 is about : focusion on the good actions and the good people. Because spoiler alert : this year 2018 have been on some other level of shit. More than 2013, 2014 and 2017 combined.

Well let’s do some quickmaths : as i said we upgraded from 372 to 488 followers (and roughly 2,241 posts). For the 9th time I have to say that I have mad love for y’all (except fake pr0n blogs, y’all aint shit). For the humans that still follow me : thank you. And I’ll have even more love for the poeple who read this until the end haha. I have to apologize because these last months my tumblr looks pretty much like a mess, between the heartbreaking lyrics, quotes, passive agressive posts than only a few people can understand ... And that’s all because of that one follower I lost (y’all understood it was an euphemism). But to be accurate, I don’t want this post to become another heartbreak post : there are already too much of them on my tumblr. Indeed, it’s one of the main contraints I forced myself to write under. Because “l’art naît de contraintes” (Art rises from contraints) like Van Gogh said. So : not another heartbreak post where I pour my heart out for a girl who won’t even read it (guess I’ve done enough with the Helsinki post). But it’s kinda difficult because this break up is the main reason my 4 last months of 2018 (and on...) have been so so awful and so much things happened because of this. But nevermind I’ll do my best. I’ll do my best because like I said, this post is more about love. This break up surely made me less human, mistrustful, but still, I’m writting because I’ve seen beautiful actions that had to be honored. But we’ll see that later. What other contraints for this 9th sum up ? A young lady I’ve met this year challenged me to write 2 good things for 1 bad that happened to me this year. I’m sorry, I failed ahah. I found more good than bad, but that 2 for 1 ratio was a bit too much ahah. Désolé ma grande ;) And because of this, I had to have a kind of draft for writting, even though I always told myself these sum up needed to be written without drafts, to keep them kinda “natural”. Looks like I’m taking this more and more seriously haha. Well, when I say that this year have been worse than my 3 worst years combined this is not a joke. Have you ever told yourself for example “Wow I left all my stuff in the car, I would be deadly unlucky if someone would break into it and stole everything !” ...Yes, that’s that level of mischance. Because this happened to me btw. And that’s the spirit of this whole year. In “Welcome to 2016″ I remember talking about “mala suerte” ... that was bullshit, 2018 is the real mala suerte. The heartbreak of this year is the worst of my whole life by far, then I’ve been close to what I dreamt of in karate, what I fight for since 2011, had 2 chances to get it this year and I still not got it by a hair’s breadth. Dad got into a crash car, hopefully only the car got wrecked. (so sad it won’t take me again to Andorra haha) People kept on deceiving me. Close friends but also unknowns.

People close to me know how much I cherish friendship. If you’re my friend and you’re not doing well, then I’m already on my way to yours to fix you. No exceptions. Even faster if it’s because of a heartbreak, because heartbroken people should never feel lonely. It’s that simple. SO when I see fuckers I have been there for through ups, downs and heartbreaks and these people are not even able to give it back to me I can’t help being mad. And I don’t act like that in order to make people give that kindness back to me, that’s not the purpose. But I do hate ungratefulness. So, I had to go through a heartbreak again and I saw people disappear again. So that’s enough lines wasted talking about these people. I also have to talk about those who were there. In 2018 I also found an awesome training partner and got closer to her clan. That’s a positive energy I really needed on that 2nd half of 2018. Par ailleurs, tu liras surement jamais ça mais je me permets une parenthèse pour te dire encore une fois Merci Julie pour avoir sauvé ma vie. This kind of old friendship is priceless to me. We can also talk about some young friendship : in march I met someone (almost my best 2018, except I didn’t manage to define an encounter good enough to define it as the best of 2018) who made me go deeper into Tekken, making me getting closer to the Tekken community in Tls. Funny how I always dreamt of this when I was a kid and this is happening. Indeed I’m living the shonen life : I’m in a group (where I met some really lovely people), I’m not the strongest but hell I do what I can to improve and that’s begining to pay even if i won’t forget the 68-0 against sensei, and like in karate I still aim to the top. It’s funny to be inside another competitive world where people don’t have all the values we have in karate. Some of these Tekken people (in the whole country, not only in Toulouse) show off, are mean to each other etc ... And also like in karate, we admire asians for being the best to do it in the whole world. What else ? I became a karate teacher. Took me a bit of time, it wasn’t hard but just took me time and dedication. I still met some great people all along this experience. I made peace with the old pals, vacays together were really incredible. Some of the sweetest days of this year. One of the sweetest day this year was the day I worked hard as hell and went back “home” to the one I love. What a lovely feeling. But I guess we didn’t lived it the same way ... Then, I also had the chance to make a karate lesson in the 1st place I’ve been taught karate !!! This was outstanding because I love to give back to those who gave me, and I love to inspire people. So, it was such a pleasure to tell these kids “I was standing where you are now. I started like you and I’ve been getting stronger and stronger. If I did it you can do it too !!!”. I truly believe some of those kids are about to be deadly strong, hopefully I’ll be done with competition haha. Talking about competition, i sadly lost my title in Andorra by mid June. At the end of the competition, I promised to come back stronger and to revenge but there will be no revenge as this competition will not be repeated in 2019. Indeed, this Andorra 2018 was a great competition and a great trip. A cool trip, great team, great mates, a lot of alcohol, a good hotel room, and love ... so much love. A deadly hangover, but a lot of love. Sadly, there would not have been love again, as 1414 who was my coach for the weekend, my partner on the tatami and in life decided to take a different path from mine. Indeed, I promised to not talk too much about that but this is all the 2nd half of 2018 is about : me trying not to drown because of this heartbreak and it feels like everything is related to that. I got cocky and forgot the 1st and only love lesson my father taught me “nothing lasts forever, mostly in love”. Damn he was right. Even my mother was right for not trusting her at the begining, and God knows she’s never right usually. I won’t even mention what that break up costed me. So no more S. and no more L., and it’s a hell of a problem as I’ve always built my life around the fact that I wanted them. And it’s painful because I wanted them with her. Nevermind, no one will ever know “what a great father I could be” as 1414 said. So much dreams. Gone. My 5 brothers took care of me as much as they could and they did amazingly great. I’ll never thank God enough for putting these guys into my life. Hope they know how much I love them. That was sad to see another one of them going back to his motherland but ... what an amazing last evening in Toulouse we spent. I’ll never forget this one.

Still talking about the break up and all the bad that happened this year : tbh I couldn’t draw good lessons from all of these bad things. Really. But like I said, I’ve seen good things coming from good people. So now I need to talk about 27. First of all, 27 was right on so many levels. (yes, I use numbers to not drop real names). Those who know me know that I love to experience, live everything. I would have been better without this heartbreak but still, it taught me new things. I could understand 27 better. When she talked about hell, she wasn’t joking at all. The doubts, the negativity, the hate, self-hate ... I think that’s too much to handle. But still, she still tried to help me when she saw me going through that hell. I couldn‘t thank her enough for this and that must be remembered. This is the whole reason I still wanted to write this sum up, in spite of all the bad things that happened. It was like : a soul lending a hand to another soul. Merci. Je ne l’oublierai jamais, je t’en dois une belle. Et toujours d’une âme à une autre. Tu dis le contraire mais tu as une belle âme et je suis sûr qu’il te reste beaucoup d’amour à donner. Also, I could understand 26 better. [...] And 26 still have the most beautiful smile in the whole world. No transition : Najwa Zebian said that « it’s unfair that new people in my life will have to destroy walls around me they didn’t even built » (btw I love this woman, she also had a big impact on my life through her reflexions) and I can tell she’s right but … trusting people is so hard these days. I really don’t know what to think about this statement. I think I’ve always been picky about who I let close to me and I still got fucked up by my ex-lover, my entourage … It’s all about who to trust, who to let in and who to cut … And it feels like I’ve been making the wrong decisions for years.

It’s starting getting late so let me end up with facts nobody cares. Neutral facts : I discovered lofi this year, my hero academia (FUCKING AWESOME !!!!), Tokyo Ghoul, 7DS, sword art online (great !!), la casa de papel, stranger things, sherlock, IP MAN 3, the good place, misfits, Juice Wrld blew up this year, NAV, Dosseh ... Funny how I discovered some of the saddest love song this year haha. Bad facts : I got injuried a lot. Females still played me a lot. Indeed I realized females are cruel but I still love them. This might be the proof we don’t chose our sexual orientation haha. Then, I couldn’t train properly from Sept to Dec. Oh, I can’t listen anymore to : Nicki, Kehlani, Rihanna or Cardi B. “More life” or “Views from the 6″ are albums I can’t listen to anymore. Well, GOOD FACTS now ! : Got a karate gi from J. (outstanding move), I put the young bloods in high school at Tekken and mangas haha. I met 80′s family and it was like a dream and I’m sure I got luckied in another dimension haha. 80 and 90 are still close to perfection in my eyes. 30 is still 30, with good and bad moods. I’m in peace with the sensei. I also received one of the best gift of my life. I learned that I was able to train by myself thanks to my power of mind ! To finish, I saw that I was able to forgive and still give love, even if it was pointless and too late.

Well, 2019 has already started and this will sure be a hell of a ride (January was ... special) as now I’m like on some quicksand shit. Let’s go ! And let’s not forget those 2018 that marked this year and I’ll surely be listening to in a decade (you need to know that I still listen to all the songs in the previous sum ups !). Enjoy :)

my computer broke months ago, hence the lack of updates. apologies for that! i tried writing up a quick summary of my latest trip to japan on my phone despite that, since i really wanted to share some details with everyone.

i was in japan from february 1st to 21st! during that time, i saw tenimyu’s VS higa six times, which i will talk about in a separate entry. so for now, let’s talk about bungou stray dogs on stage, stage oofuri, mononofu & nostalgic wonderland, as well as spi’s valentine fanmeeting!

02.03 BUNGOU STRAY DOGS what better way to start one of my japanese theater pilgrimages than by going to see my #1 boy, hideya (7th tezuka), less than 24 hours after landing in japan? i also had the chance to see teruma (6th inui) & kuwano (2nd shishido).

what most impressed me about this production was the choice casting. people i usually am iffy on were given very fitting roles that they rocked in, and of course, hideya was able to shine as the very popular & multidimensional character that is dazai. i was really happy to hear so many audience members gush about how good he was during the intermission! i think it’s one of the greatest compliments for an actor when fans of the original work & characters enjoy their portrayal.

i also enjoyed all the effort & wit put into the staging, the supernatural aspect of the franchise put into motion in such smart & artistic ways. also hideya is fantastic, gorgeous, versatile, charismatic, perfect.

when i got home, i found out that ryosei (8th inui) had went to see the show at the same time as i did...

02.11 OOFURI ️ oofuri was such a lighthearted & fun stage play, which really carried the energy of the source material. fantastic casting decisions were made here, i had a lot of fun both discovering actors i knew less and also seeing actors i’ve known for a while in person for the first time!!

i was mostly inclined to see the show because mashu (7th momo) & junpei (2nd marui) were in it!!!! i love them so much and was really happy to see them perform. they have very sparkly eyes and mashu is just such a delight to watch.

ps. ino hiroki is ridiculously handsome

02.12 SPI’S FANMEETING this was my first time going to an event without any tennis motivations, but spi is just such an amazing guy who’s always been very welcoming and inclusive towards his foreign fans, so i thought i’d honor that by attending his fanmeeting. well, of course, i also think of him as an amazingly interesting person and a fantastic performer!!

he had an entire talk section dedicated to sharing toumyu gossip, which i loved. he notably mentionned how arayan (2nd inui) is The Greatest Senpai Ever, that mario (7th eiji) has hilarious over-dramatic reactions of relief and keeps complaining about how tired he is when they’re finally done training, and that imari yu has this tendency to wrap his arm around whoever is sitting next to him...

otherwise, it was mostly spi showing off his wonderful voice with a variety of english songs. including a one direction song. help. he made a few jokes about english stuff, like how funny he thought the lyrics in real love story (tonbokiri’s solo) were, and each time he would look into my direction in a moment of north american bonding... i felt like i couldn’t unleash my full fanboy self bcuz we had an unexplainable bro bond now

after the event itself, much like for tenimyu, we had to wait our block’s turn to get out of our seats for miokuri. while waiting for my turn, an older lady came up to me and started talking to me in english, asking me where i was from, if i liked tourabu, if i’d go see take me out, saying her friend & her saw me earlier and thought i was cute, thanking me for coming, etc. now, i’m not going to assume anything, but spi did make a joke at the start of the event asking if there were mothers in the room (said lady cheered), and i also know for a fact that spi’s mother is an english teacher... hmmm...

afterwards, i got to meet spi! he handed each of us a rose since it was valentine’s day, which i thought was absolutely adorable i was getting ready to ask 英語でいいですか？ before saying anything in english, just in case, but he was the one who super excitedly started talking to me in english, asking me where i was from & all!! we talked for a surprisingly long while considering it was just a miokuri! i was really happy... i also went WOW YOU’RE SO TALL I’M SURPRISED bcuz i’m never prepared for anyone that isn’t an inui to tower over me

02.16 MONONOFU i went into this show excited to see so many of my favorites gorgeous boys, notably tsune (2nd atobe), kubohide (2nd niou), arayan (2nd inui), kent (3rd shinji) & sugie (2nd yuuji). since i didn’t particularly enjoy or understand the previous titles of this franchise which i had seen on DVD, my expectations for anything other than eye candy were fairly low. i ended up pleasantly surprised, as a fan of japanese history & the bakumatsu era in particular! this segment of the story covered the shinsengumi’s fall, with kondo isami’s execution & okita soji’s death at the hands of illness. i actually ended up crying along with everyone else in the theater, the actors’ performance & dramatic staging allowing a really emotional, honest & down-to-earth portrayal of a story we all love so much.

and of course, tsune was incredibly hot and kubohide really does look like that and arayan is so cool and kent is ridiculously handsome and sugie is a charismatic angel. but everyone was really fantastic! i knew ryosuke from kamen rider ghost, but his portrayal of okita really touched me. i also thought it was super cool how katsura’s actor was a legit kabuki actor! so impressive to watch!

02.17 NOSTALGIC WONDERLAND oh this show. THIS!! SHOW!! you guys!! this was undoubtedly one of my favorite things i’ve ever seen on a japanese stage!! okay, i might be a little biased because i’m a really big fan & collector of all things 60s~90s, but really!! this was just a bundle of joy, nothing but singing & dancing & casual talk segments between the actors.

the story here is actually pretty funny. i initially didn’t get a ticket for this, thinking “okay this would be fun but i already saw miura (3rd atobe), ikumin (3rd oshitari) & masa (1st niou) in person and i’m not supposed to spend money on anyone other than seigaku anyways”. then my love for miura amplified tenfolds. then my friend was like hey i have an extra ticket. then i was like i shouldn’t. then i watched shinken ranbu sai. then my love for miura amplified even further. then i was like okay please. i need that ticket. then my friend is like okay sure here is a pic of your ticket btw! and i see. the words. “Guest: Yata Yusuke”. written on the ticket. i have never been so happy to have ever decided to go see a show.

so, yes. i had the chance to watch yata (7th fuji) perform in person. he sang Open Arms by Journey, which was an absolute delight. a song i love and a voice i adore. i actually found myself crying while listening to his singing. listen... y’all know how much i love 7th cast. this meant a lot.

during the talk segment, miura was extremely excited to introduce yata, and is so jumpy, happy & clingy near him! it’s adorable! these two have been senpai & kouhai before miura’s days in tenimyu and continue to work together to this day. yata, in classic 7th fashion, was incredibly entertaining & hilarious in all of his crude honesty and lack of fucks. notably just saying “i don’t know these guys” about everyone who wasn’t miura, ikumin, masa & utsumi (2nd saeki), being absolutely exasperated and lacking in any efforts when asked to do cute fanservice, and also getting upset at masa for talking so much instead of letting him sing his solo. beautiful.

but my favorite moment was when miura exposed ikumin as a being a huge fan of yata! saying he always sings yata’s tenimyu songs when they karaoke! ikumin was incredibly flustered, but he confirmed this and straight up said “yata’s fuji is the best”. he then proceeded to kneel on the floor and reinterpret yata’s boku wa kawaru from VS shitenhoji for at least half a minute. i was howling with laughter, i can’t believe this was even allowed to happen?? where is the tennis police?? (too scared of miura and a 7th, probably.)

back to the actual show! they performed a wonderful variety of our songs, from The Karpenters to Blondie to Elvis and the Backstreet Boys as the great finale. absolutely incredible content. we all know the range of singing and/or dancing talent from our tenimyu boys, but the other actors were also really incredible singers, one is a trained ballet dancer as well, and another could play a wind instrument! sheer talent all around. miura & the other dancer, rui, had a contemporary dance number together, a very sensual one at that!!

there was also a lot of fanservice & audience interaction! and of course, i wound up with an alley seat. let’s start smoothly. i got a wink from masa when he stopped at our row during the final number!! and a big smile from ikumin during his solo!!

but what still has me *ahem* Shook to this day... is miura. yeah. during his solo — a cover of Venus by Frankie Avalon — he walked thru the alleys, doing cute fanservice with a few audience members, up until he stopped right in front of our row. i was smiling so widely from 50% happiness & 50% nervosity, and then he ended up looking right at me. held out his hand towards me. and smiled so beautifully as he continued singing. i think my heart actually stopped beating in that moment. and my hands were still shaking by the end of the show. i’m fine. yeah. uh huh

AX-Perience 2017 (Full Story)

Hey guys so I came back from Anime Expo on Wednesday night and I gotta say, it was one of the craziest weekends of my life!!! It was all worth it though. The one thing I say now is that because of my timing, I did not meet Miyu Irino who I was also super excited for. However once you get through my story, you'll see what happened. I did expand this one since there are more details to this one than my first one. Enjoy!!

June 28th;

So I get up to work that day and just go through my normal routine as a stow at zulily but with the thoughts in my head that 'Yes!! My best friend is gonna come tonight!!' Luckily everything went well. The day before that I cleaned my room thoroughly and had everything prepared for my best friends arrival. That night when she already got to my place, we talked till about 2 am. She came around 11 pm.

June 29th (Day -1);

That day was our traveling day. We got up around 9 I think to start having everything prepared for our travels that day. Though we were a tad bit late for our scheduled departure time (we drove again) we made it safely to LA. It was mainly out packing. Luckily it wasn’t as bad as last year, but we like triple checked everything before closing the suitcases. XD Once in LA, we had some problems with the hotel that we originally planned to get so before checking in, we cancelled the stay and went to a better looking place. It took like 2 hours to cancel since Expedia didn’t clarify everything in English so we called in Spanish. What happened during that phone call is a while other story. Eventually we ended up at a different hotel for the night before getting something for the rest of the AX weekend.

July 30th (Day 0);

We get up the next morning, eat at this place that just tasted bad, and look for the official place where we'll stay for the whole convention. It took us a while since nothing was open and places were expensive. Then again, we were near LAX. Eventually we found a place about 20 minutes from the Convention Center on Figueroa. But since we only payed 3 nights, another hunt was to be done. It was all done before 1. Well, after reserving our room at this hotel, my mom took us to the convention center. We took a look around the place to see what was being prepared. Since my badge wasn't shipped, I had to go to the Premier Lounge to pick it up later that afternoon. So to kill time, we met up with a friend that Aria met on Twitter in Little Tokyo. We spent some time there, then went back to the convention center to pick up my badge and go to a few events here and there. I attended the Chilling With Voice Actors panel and it was really funny. I loved it a lot. We ended up going to the hotel around 10 that night since we went to the AX Dance. We also got to meet @atutsie which btw, is super fun to have around. She came in really late and didn’t know about the pre-show night so we had to meet up with her and her bro at the front on the building. We talked for a bit before leaving.

July 1st (Day1);

We got up around 4 am that day to make sure we get a spot in the autograph line and the premier line. We come to the surprise that the autograph line was really long. And the premier line wasn't even open. There was already a small line right by the staircase that goes up to that line. The group has been waiting there for hours before us and they didn't open till like 7:30. Luckily for me, we were the first people in line. I was desperate to get my things for Daisuke Hirakawa so I could get my autograph ticket. Once the doors were open for premier people, I ran over to the Anime Jungle booth so I could get my things. Aria was still stuck in the autograph line at this point. There were already a few people in line by the time I was there. Either way I was one of the first. Arianna was luckier since she had the autograph ticket for Garnidelia and hauled her ass over to Anime Jungle and got Hirarin’s autograph ticket. As she was waiting in line, we saw a couple of people that we thought were cool!! We became instant friends. We shared phone numbers and I created a group chat for us. Once they got their things, we walked around the exhibition hall for a bit then headed down to the artist alley. I wanted to attend the opening ceremony so I left behind the group since they didn’t wanna come and left for it. Aria obviously stayed in the Artist Alley since she had the signing to attend. The opening ceremony was hilariously fun since there were few tech errors but the emcee’s made it funny. After the opening ceremony ended, I met up with Ari and headed to the Yuri!!! On Ice panel. Which speaking of, when Aria was at the signing of Garnidelia, she saw Kubo and Yamamoto, got a picture with them, and got Viktuuri badges from Kubo. Lucky shit. Alright. The messed up part to this experience for the panel was that they didn’t clear the room for the YoI panel and had the premier fans sit IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRICKIN ROOM!!!!!!!!!! Well either way, the panel was fun and entertaining. The first thing they did was wanting to bring out Kubo to the crowd and we were all chanting for her. She didn't come out until the Welcome To The Madness video was played. Y’all, I swear, I have never heard a group of fans scream so perfectly than that moment when the video started playing. The tech people couldn’t figure out how to play the music to the video so like half of it was all quiet and then when they got the sound to play, shrieks again. During the actual panel, I realized that Yamamoto is really shy. I could barely hear her. Kubo on the other hand was so energetic. At the panel, Kubo and Yamamoto said that the movie that they want to release may be coming out after the Olympics next year so let’s hope we get something good. :P At the end of the panel, Kubo stated throwing things to the crowd. I got close to see if I could get something but nay. Though the cool things were that I got to see Kubo up close and Yamamoto and someone gave Kubo a blue flower crown. After the panel, Aria went to the Super Live and I spent some time in the entertainment hall since my original plan of going to the Butler Cafe failed since they sold out. After that, I just waited for Aria around the area until we got picked up for the night. One thing I can’t remember when it happened was that there was this one girl who had the same shirt as me. I took my MIXING Tour shirt to see if anyone would notice. She literally came up to me and was all like “Cool shirt.” I turned around and saw that we had the same thing on and it made my whole day.

July 2nd (Day 2);

Aria and I left the hotel around 9:30 since I didn’t want to be late to see Hirakawa at his signing nor his panel. Luckily for me and her, we were some of the first people in line. While in line, we got our group together again and wrote our letters to him. Mine was brief since I didn’t know what else to tell him. Aria on the other hand spilled out everything since she has been a fan of his since forever. About 5 minutes before the signing, they had us stand up to be ready for the signing. I was really nervous cuz I know more of his work than I do with Toriumi. (I’m such a horrible fan…. TTATT) When Hirarin came to get our things signed, I let out the loudest scream possible and everyone started screaming for him. At this point I was trembling so much. This girl on the other side was having this major fangirl moment. In order to calm down, I went to hug her since she loves Hirarin. The line was moving before I knew it. When it came down to me, I gave him my letter while I was shaking. He accepted it so kindly and with the most generous smile. Bless my soul at this moment that I didn’t forget my Japanese. I gave him the small poster from the booth for him to sign. (I didn't want the book to be signed since I wanted it framed and couldn't do the large poster since there's not enough room in my room... XD) The staff made sure though that I had the photo book just in case. After leaving him, I started crying. Hirakawa left me with such a good vibe that afternoon that I will never forget it for as long as I live.

Later we headed to his panel and were the first ones in line. I never moved from my spot ever in the time we waited for him. We started talking to the people around us and also helping the 4-Day and One Day badge holders where to go in line. A little before his panel started, he came to the premier line as if lost. Though he was with his team of guides and translators. He turned to us and a few shrieks here and there, but everyone was behaved. He turned to us so I composed myself and waved at him. HE THEN SMILED BACK AND WAVED AT ME!!!!!! After he went inside to go over his panel, I rolled on the floor and had another fan girl cry moment. People were staring but I didn't care since I had the most blessed moment of my life at that moment. Alright. Panel then went really well, thank God for my Japanese since a lot of the things he said I could understand. Really fun. When the Q&A came by, questions were popping out fast. The thing that ticked me off the most was this one girl that was taking forever to explain her question. She took maybe like 5 minutes. I was getting worried that I wasn’t going to be able to ask my question. But God was great and this happened. So the guy in front of me had this question for Hirarin but it was already asked and he kept saying through the time I don’t know what to ask anymore!! and then the hostess said that he was the last one to ask him a question and God please bless his soul, he turned around and gave me the mic. I said thank you to this dude maybe like 5 times. I asked him about DiaLovers since pretty much thats where I got to know him. So yea. :P After the Hirakawa panel, we saw this amazing Code: Realize cosplay. We took a few pics with the two (dressed as Lupin and Saint Germain) before we left to the exhibition hall for a bit and then to eat. Ari was feeling sick so we went to the premier lounge. I was talking with a group of guys around us while she slept for a bit then went to the bathroom. Poor her... Mother Nature got her unexpectedly. She composed herself and before heading to the butler cafe, we met again with @atutsie and also found someone else whose URL I can’t remember, which was the same girl I was twinning with the day before. Btw, here’s a pic of us:

Okay. While the 4 of us were talking and all that, we started watching Generating. We were singing and laughing and having fun, then they had to go back and me and Ari went to the line for the Butler Cafe at 10:30. While waiting in line for the cafe, there were these girls that started singing and dancing to random music which I thought was a lot of fun and also joined them in the singing part. Then it was time to go in. Before going in, I shouted, “Who’s gonna need air after this?” And I got a few responses. ;-; I was excited cuz it was the second time going and maybe I would see the same butler that gave me the kabe-don the year before. I didn’t remember the name or anything so I couldn’t identify from looking at the butlers who it could be. We got really fun butlers that night and it was all fun until the mid games started.... hehe...... ;-; Me and Ari both got a “punishment” for knocking over the tower in Jenga. I was blessed enough to have distracted the butler long enough to not have to go through what it was...... .//////////////////////. I do not wanna say what happened to me or at least what almost did cuz it would be embarrassing. Well anyway, the rest of the night went really well. I got another kabe-don picture (which i dont have with me at the moment, it’s in a box... you’ll see why later in the post) and it came out perfect. I was really happy since I got it done by 2 butlers this time (hurhurhur and boi were they mighty fine. Now here’s where things get weird for me for a bit. Before taking the kabe-don picture, the butler that was at our table and i asked him to get a photo, he said to me “a picture with me again?” In my head, I thought, what does he mean by again...? I shook off the thought and went along with the picture, and once it was developed, I recognized that angle of the face. I was shocked. I didn’t say anything to anyone until after I left the room with Ari and asked my bro to check this little photo I had framed. Turns out, it was the same person that gave me the picture last year and I didn’t remember at all. I blame the hair. Last year it was white and this year he didn’t have it dyed. Well anyways, we went back to the hotel that night and I had a tough time sleeping since I was in actual shock. That there ended day 2.

July 3rd (Day 3);

{One thing, this day was just full of depression for me personally…} I told my family and I told Ari the night before that I wanted to go see Miyu Irino and wanted to get his autograph. I had planned to leave at 5 that morning. I had already showered and everything. However since absolutely no one woke up, we didn’t leave the hotel till about 9 that day as well. That morning I was pretty bummed out. When we got to the convention, we went up to the premier lounge since now we wanted to see the all ages butler cafe. After buying the tickets for that and the one later that night (to conclude the friggin hormones in me), we head to the exhibition hall to get a few things. As for the butler cafe that afternoon…………. So. Many. Regrets. Going. That. Afternoon. The whole thing was going well. We were playing games, talking about our favorite animes, all this fun stuff until something happened and I had a complete mental break down and could not feel better no matter what everyone tried. The worse part? It was in front of the person that was really fun the night before at our table. The rest of the cafe goes by with music and dances. Since I worried the whole cafe, there were offers for things to be done to make me feel better and I denied all of it. Once it all stopped is when I left. Ari had to run to get me since I left without saying anything. I started crying as I ran to the exhibition hall. I pretty much went back to the exhibition hall only to get one thing that I wanted to get day 2 which is a little cat-ear headband flower crown. The best part about it that made me feel better is that it’s in my 2 favorite colors and I love it so much. Aria tries to console me but I just needed to relax and to be left alone. But since she had to be with me and me with her, I couldn’t be alone. For the last 2 days Aria wanted to go to the open mic karaoke and I couldn’t go since we had a curfew to be picked up. So what we ended up doing after doing some shopping was go to a few karaoke events and it was a lot of fun. We sung Rage on for one and Aria had a little character to play for the other one. We had to go to the hotel across the street to attend these karaoke events. I was too affected and embarrassed from the earlier incident so every once in a while I would go to the bathroom and cry. I had so much anxiety for the 10:30 one that day since I didn’t know how I was gonna react during the event. I kept my feelings of embarrassment shut since I didn’t want to make another scene. I wanted to hide in line but since the second line started and me and Ari were put in the front, I couldn’t hide like I wanted. I kept taking deep breaths since I had no other way to calm myself. In the end, I sucked it all up and went inside. Worse of luck, it was the same person attending us as the night before and who I had the mental break down to. I felt so much more embarrassed than earlier but still had to go along with me. The intro happened and then he asked me if I were feeling better from what happened. I told him I was okay. In reality, I wasn’t. I only went for Aria. The night went like the one before and it was fun since it was the last night of the dark romance cafe. I just didn’t feel myself at all that day. I did what I could to be fine and to make people not worry about me but I was not okay nor will I be. Y’all, it was so hard for me to finish typing this part of day 3 without having the urge to cry again. After the butler cafe, Ari and another friend wanted to go to the AX Dance as it was the last one. I had to call my mom last minute and got in trouble for it since she was a few minutes away from picking us up. All I wanted to do was keep crying from the earlier events and just sleep to forget it all. We go to the AX Dance for about an hour then while Ari went to pick up her things, I go to the car and let it all out. All the tears I’ve been needing to let out, since I felt used that day. Bless my mom for calming me down since I didn’t know what would. Ari then comes to the car and we go to the new hotel we got.

July 4th (Day 4 final);

I wake up around 9 that day only to see that Miyu Irino was just in the premier lounge. Another missed shot at trying to meet him. We arrived around 10 that day. I ran to the lounge to see if there was a chance to catch him but no. Instead I go to the exhibition hall to buy the things that people ordered and go down to the entertainment hall. At the entertainment hall, Ari wanted to record a dance cover to this one song and so I decided to help out. It took us 12 shots to finally almost do something perfect until someone decided to walk right across the shot. We gave up and then they closed the entertainment hall. We wait in line for the closing ceremony which was really emotional. They had a memorial to all the ones who passed away over the last year that had an importance to the anime industry. They also put the winning AMVs (which I may link later if I find them.) After the ceremony ended and everyone was getting out, I screamed “WHO’S READY FOR 2018?!” I got the best response from the crowd, I felt proud. While outside, I called my mom to pick us up. She told us that it would be a few minutes before she arrived. While we were waiting for her, Aria took pictures of the cosplayers that day. The funny thing that happened while we were waiting is that I was playing ‘Independence’ by Miyano (Tokiya’s song) and every so and then, someone would call or text me and interrupt the song. Right as it was getting to the best part of the song, my mom called and said that she was already waiting for us. We leave the convention center and head to the hotel.
