how are your pets doing? (you said you wanted to asksbut I'm not exactly sure what type you would want, so you obviously don't have to answer anything)

I’m willing to answer anything! :) Just needed distractions.

My pets are doing really well! My baby loftwing, Neville, lately has been trying to get better acquainted with the puppy, Anakin, by climbing down to the ground from his cage and trying to poke his feet. My bird likes play dangerous games lol. As for Anakin, he’s in puppy training and doing great with commands, just needs to work on being less reactionary around other dogs. We’ve started going to the park to try and socialize him more. Here’s some pictures! :)

I will never not stop feeling searing hatred for nerds who go "waaah feathered dinos are sooo cringe, they're not scary or cool if they look like birds!", because clearly these fuckers think birds are just pigeons or sparrows (no shade I love em), and they're so quick to forget that birds can literally fucking look like THIS as well and much more

brought Kep in to work for a weigh-in and a little socializing. He’s up to 16lbs (+3 from when I got him) and doing really well with walking on the leash! Got to say hi to two of my coworkers who are Collie People(TM) and they both had the same comments: that he’s going to be big, and that they think his ears are going to stay floppy. Time shall tell…

Was lucky enough to entertain @justheblueberry recently (along with others) and got to peer closely at her most impressive binding of A Study in Scarlette. It's a beautiful piece of work with so much care and thought put into the details, inside and out. Love it! Definitely recommend you check out her post & write-up of the project!

I sincerely believe that KitKat hisses at me now not because she is frightened of me but because she's determined to show me who's the boss between the two of us. She hisses, I pick her up and cuddle her, she purrs, she is content that she has demonstrated her mastery of me.

This latest incident occurred after I spent 20 minutes searching for her after she successfully escaped her bathroom quarantine again. Unfortunately, she might be into something.

Went to urgent care and then was referred to a walk-in MENTAL HEALTH URGENT CARE THAT IS FREE/SLIDING SCALE??? THIS SHOULD BE A THING EVERYWHERE HELLO?? because I have not been able to sleep well or eat much for the past week due to Crushing Anxiety/Panic and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. and everyone was so so nice to me and genuinely sad they couldn’t prescribe me Xanax. I know there are a lot of bad ones out there but wow good mental healthcare workers are truly gods strongest soldiers

I haven't been able to go grocery shopping in a hot minute lol which is fine I have food at home that I need to eat before it goes bad but I don't have ya know dopamine food which means that I'm not actually eating like at all lol so I'm going to go grocery shopping in the middle of the week bc this is fuckin ridiculous at this point

I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE IT AND TEST IT OUT!! And now I have to WAIT. REI said they'll send me a replacement but I wanted to use it to check my pack weight...
