Hi, anon! Sorry it took so long for me to respond to this, I was filtering through all of my stuff to decide what I was going to recommend first. A lot of these are kind of classic ones to read. They've all gotten a lot of hits, and for a really good reason.

I'll post more recs in the future, especially hidden gems, and maybe a list of Dead Dove (like, the dove died, was resurrected, and died again) kind of content, because I have a lot of those to reccommend, too.

All of these are rated E. Most of the things I've bookmarked are, ngl, but if you want some T or below fics, I'd be happy to do a list of those, too!

First up is The Little Spoon by leonidaslion. This is an established relationship fic. It's 2k words and is the perfect mix of adorable and slightly smutty. To his horror, Sam discovers that he's a stealth!snuggler.

Next is, in my opinion, a Must Read. It's Couples Counseling by MsImpala67. It's a getting together fic, which I have a particular fondness for, especially those involving a fake relationship, like this one. What better way to investigate a marriage counselor (who may or may not be responsible for the death of six of her clients) than to go to marriage counseling? It's just pretend right? No different than putting on the FBI suits. Of course, nothing ever goes according to plan, and Sam and Dean quickly get more than they bargained for. It's 18k words over 10 chapters, and very worth the read.

Fragments by arclucifer666 is a one shot. The smell of sex is still in the air, and all these memories are making his cock swell up. And he hopes there will be one more round before his guest leaves. Don't open this one in public, there is a porny gif at the end. Little bt of fluff, luttle bit of soft sex. CW for somnophilia.

I don't often do AUs, but A Fire Ever Burning by BewareTheIdes15 is a fun read. It's based on the world of Pern, which you don't need to be familiar with to read. It is a dragon riding AU that kept me absolutely invested from beginning to end. It's 16 k words of charming for anyone with a love for the fantastical. Sam and Dean have always been oddities among the dragonriders; the youngest man to Impress a Bronze dragon in a hundred years and a boy who turned his back on the riders to become a dragon healer instead. But when fate steps in a chooses a far different path for Sam, the brothers and all the Weyrs of Pern will have to come to terms with much greater changes in their traditions.

I want to add a bajillion more, but I am going to limit myself to two. I'm realizing I have a lot of Sam/Dean/other, but I will do those on another list.

I have to throw an ABO and a case fic in, so I'll give you a twofer. Opus Amore by Skylee is all of my favorite tropes wrapped up in one. Sam and Dean go undercover at a couples retreat for Alphas and their Omegas to root out a monster. Dean hates being an Omega so the fact that he'll have to openly be one and stop taking his suppressants pisses him off. Still, the more they pretend to be a happy Omega and Alpha couple, the more he starts to think that maybe being an Omega isn't so bad, not if Sam is his Alpha. It's all of my favorite tropes. Hesitant Omega Dean, fake relationship, getting together, clever monster hunt. 31k words over 17 chapters and I'm ngl, I read this in one sitting.

Finally, last but certainly not least, The Truth In The Lie by flawedamythyst. It's another fake relationship case fic. The side characters are fun, the hunt is fun, it's just another all around awesome read. Sam and Dean pretend to be gay lovers while they hunt a monster on a bus tour of Nova Scotia.

There you have it. My first ever wincest fic recommendations. As I said before, all of these are well-loved on AO3, with good reason. I want to do more of these lists, especially if any of you have something specific you want to read.

I posted two chapters of my skz wolfpack AU since it's back to biweekly updates again for a bit - Rest in the Belly of the Wolf

I also posted a new phanfic where Phil got to live out his dreams of being Oz and having Dan be Spike - Vampire Moon

And I wrote a spilled thoughts post about getting nostalgic peaking at the personal blog I kept through most of university

I decided I was going to try to go back to the 2k words a day goal for the month of May and I'm so happy that I made it! It felt really good to be able to hit that higher word count. I also figured out this month that I had fewer days where I was actually writing but when I was writing, I did so for longer sessions. It worked quite well, so maybe I'll try to keep that kind of vibe going forward. And phan Stardew AU beloved got to shine this month surpassing even journalling (18k words over just three days, so really productive sessions!). I'm nearing the end of the January chapter now and I'm excited to finish it soon and share it in August. I've also been vibing well with my skz wolfpack AU and it's been really lovely to put it back on the posting schedule and seeing people reading and commenting on new chapters. And then some side phanfic action too, I've got a new idea about blond Phil and Dan dressed as Sister Daniel in a situationship AU, so wish me luck with that! It's going to be more complex than initially anticipated so maybe that'll be a thing for August too. PEDIA is creeping up on me soon after all and I'm going to start hoarding fics like a dragon.

I'm excited for June and I hope it's a good one. The sun is out and the days are longer. I'm still dealing with some shitty fatigue that clings to me but it's slightly better these days, so here's to hoping to keep it at bay. Happy pride month!

He opened the balcony door and stepped through. Standing at the edge of the railing, he stared out into the sky, shining eyes turned away from the street. From her vantage point, the waxing crescent of the moon hung right above his head. It made him look ethereal. That was the last thing she saw before she slipped back into dreamland.

Notes / Accomplishments:

Finished Part 3, and am over a quarter finished with Part 4. The end is in sight!

Wrote a few major scenes (including the Ash x Mailhairer sort-of-confession).

Goal for July: I might be able to get to 110K / the end if I change the daily goal from 400 to 525 words.

As she travels across the land, she falls for her guide, a seamstress who can talk to plants.” “Nice.” Taryn jiggled the book a little, feeling its weight in her hands. Florence was the best at finding woman/woman romances.

The land never took long to recover from the winter. The grass and shrubs came back to life in a matter of days, turning the scape from brown and grey to vibrant purple and pink. It was always stunning to watch as everything bloomed. Taigex took comfort in the fact that no matter what happened next, she would at least have seen this one last beautiful thing.

This was the most productive month by far. Up until now, I’ve only written 2K a month (at most) for this WIP.

Like with The Claws of the Ounce, the endgame is finally in sight.

Came up with more neat worldbuilding.

Goal for July: ACTUALLY FINISH THE FIRST DRAFT.

Overall

This is the single most productive month I’ve EVER had. I wrote 27K - my previous record was 18K!

Although I unfortunately did not meet my goals for A Summer with the Immortal or The Gift of Gloves, I feel the sheer amount that I wrote makes up for it somewhat. Here's to hoping I meet ALL my goals next month!

In honor of international dance day, here’s a mini masterlist of my fics that feature dancing!

Michael Clifford is an up and coming choreographer who has been brought to the Minneapolis Ballet to revamp their production of The Nutcracker. Ashton Irwin was a ballet prodigy who stepped out of the spotlight after a devastating injury five years ago and is now ready to return to dance. After they begin fake dating to protect a secret, they end up spending a lot more time together than either of them anticipated, both inside the rehearsal room and outside of it.

(a/n: this is the fic that i’m most proud of, because it’s by far my longest and the first time i tried and succeeded in writing a multi-chapter thing!  it holds a special place in my heart)

"I figured we wouldn't even touch the song today, not from a dance standpoint," Michael says. "I think it'd be more useful to use today to take stock of how you move and what sorts of things come most naturally to you so I can choreograph to your strengths and know moves or techniques will take more time to implement. Basically, I want to put you through your paces so we're better prepared going forward, teach some basics, maybe do a few short combos so I can see how quickly you pick up on things and how you learn best. Sound good?"

"Yeah, sure," Ashton says. "You're the expert here."

Michael shrugs one shoulder up.

"Yeah, but it's your project. It's your song and music video. I want to be sure you're going to be happy with this process."

Or: Ashton Irwin wants to release his second album. He hires Michael Clifford to choreograph the video for the lead single.

"I love the rain," Michael says, adjusting his position so he can stick his cold toes under Ashton's thigh. "It's fun. Refreshing. I like how everything smells afterwards."

"You always were a little weird," Ashton says. Michael removes one foot so he can kick at him, then returns his toes to under Ashton's leg.

"Lots of people like that smell. Besides, nothing is as fun as going out and playing in the rain. It's like going to the water park but better because you can push your friends down into the mud."

i'm gonna take a break from the last two and start working in other works because i kinda wanna make progress on my work in progresses list before i really start other things (wish upon a dying star) and since i'm kinda losing inspiration and interest in lucky 777 right now.

and since i'm in the toxic mindset right now, i think i'm going to work on 10 days to fall out of love and try to crank that out before i lose steam and the school year starts again. i also want to at least get out the next chapter of right side of wrong so my goal is to finish that by the end of winter break.
