there's reasons for why that joke gets repeated so much but it's just so funny to me to see how long it's persisted while also being "ok we get it can we get a new joke in here"
kind of hard for me to exactly judge this though as someone who's played these games a lot so i sometimes feel/worry that like debunking the joke is like a slightly longer winded "get good" which. i don't like that attitude much i think it's kind of rude a lot of the time (it IS separate from genuinely well intended advice/game tips but being me i also worry that that itself is also a "get good" call)
dunno my point here but the duck is really only a notable issue in CoM where he's dominated by RNG exclusively so he'll heal bosses on accident sometimes . anywhere else he's fine if not great
"donald doesn't heal" memers/repeaters when donald triple casts cure in a row

in absence of a reunion noel interview i'm going back to revisit the great gallagher thaw of late 2014/early 2015 to try to make some sense outta these strange reunion times we are in now.
i've been really curious about this time period for awhile and stockpiling posts with the intention of assembling them in some kind of chronological order. still not quite sure what i'm looking at but it's a bit like find the edge pieces of a puzzle and snapping them together for a frame. you can get a vague idea while understanding much of the pieces are missing to complete the picture. most notably noel is giving interviews at this time while liam is mostly out of the public eye entirely.
assembled them in the queue and looking at them in order now and getting a bit choked up by what we have. even factoring in the normal album press cycle, noel's interviews have noticeable outlier moments during this time. charting his uncharacteristically relaxed calm fondness to emotionally raw moments when mentioning liam, it does look like any attempt at a truce all goes south within a months time (mid february to mid march 2015). coincidence it’s when dead in the water is written and the chasing yesterday is released? of course it’s not lost on me it also is at a period of nostalgia with the 20th anniversaries of their first two albums and part of the buzz about a reunion driven by stone roses reunion. but in the course of the entire feud it sticks out as different. and suggests noel was more invested in a reconciliation than he’d ever be willing to admit.
queuing them up now. when they're done posting i'll link them to the chronological list below to access them easily.

Interviewer: "For you growing up, or even in present life now, who was your icon that you look up to?"
Lady Gaga: "I mean, my mum. My mum was my icon. But you know, I loved Mick Jagger, I loved David Bowie, I loved Elton John, I loved Madonna, I loved Britney, I loved Radiohed, and I loved Led Zeppelin. I had musical icons. I loved music, music was my icon."
Lady Gaga talks about musical icons, and Elton John, in new "Joker: Folie à Deux" interview with Rob and Emma on 2FM

Can you name any favorites whose age is significantly younger than Noel?
Tumblr media
I had this question before. I had only few guys. Now my choice is changing, so I can name at least 10 persons :)
John Robins
Born 04/05/1982
Tumblr media
I found out about him from Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, then Mock The Week and Taskmaster, of course. He's the 17th series winner! Lovely guy and looks adorable. I like this type of people. Probably, he doesn't look as extraordinary as Noel, but he has a positive energy that can make me love him. I think, he's a nice guy :) Also, he's a fan of Queen! I respect him for that! I really like classic rock legends!
Joe Lycett
Born 05/07/1988
Tumblr media
One of my very first favorites after Noel! Always smiling and laughing dummy ;) I've been interested in this guy for the years. As Noel, Joe never aspired to be just a comedian on the stage. Every year he changed himself in a different ways. I'm absolutely not surprising that it's difficult to recognize a once modest boy in current Lycett. That makes it cool and unique! He's actually great!
Ed Gamble
Born 10/03/1986
Tumblr media
Mock The Week star, Taskmaster winner and podcast host. I didn't even knew that Ed had a problem with the weight. Now he looks just awesome! Sexy, beautiful, funny and always positive guy!
Joey Page
Born 12/05/1985
Tumblr media
Yes, I still remember and like him. He debuted in Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Luxury Comedy (2010-2011). Probably, he's not a big celebrity, but he's still cool. I like watching his podcasats "Got A Problem Mate" Interesting and hilarious :)
Chris Ramsey
Born 03/08/1986
Tumblr media
Another lovely comedian that I discovered from Never Mind The Buzzcocks. He's beautiful and always laughing man. Also he's a great host. One of the longtime favorites :)
Aisling Bea
Born 16/03/1984
Tumblr media
Irish female comedian with original voice. She is beautiful and interesting person. Started like her after Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Taskmaster, QI and Big Fat Quiz :)
Sam Campbell
Born 19/09/1991
Tumblr media
He was a guest in Never Mind The Buzzcocks in Noel's team. I'm usually not remembering the persons that I've never knew. Then he took a part and win in Taskmaster. Funny, trolly and creative guy :)
Jack Whitehall
Born 07/07/1988
Tumblr media
Love him in ALOTO (A League Of Their Own) Also he was amazing host in Never Mind The Buzzcocks :)
Joanne McNally
Born 07/05/1983
Tumblr media
The newest for me. It's an Irish stand-up comedian, writer, and actress. McNally was the co-host of Republic of Telly for RTÉ and has also appeared on The Late Late Show, The Afternoon Show, Ireland AM, Two Tube, and The Commute for RTÉ. As well as segments on RTÉ 2fm, McNally co-hosts a podcast called My Therapist Ghosted Me with Vogue Williams. 2nd place of Taskmaster. Beautiful and funny girl :)
Rosie Jones
Born 26/06/1990
Tumblr media
Rosie is no average girl. She was born with congenital paralysis, but instead of letting it hold her back, she embraced it as a unique part of who she is. It's like her quirky trademark. She's incredibly gifted and has a great sense of humor. Plus, she's pretty adorable :)
Sophie Willan
Born 21/10/1987
Tumblr media
English actress, narrator, writer and comedian. She has won two BAFTAs for her television sitcom Alma's Not Normal. Also one of the craziest Taskmaster contestants :)
Olga Koch
Born 01/09/1992
Tumblr media
Russian-British stand-up comedian, writer, and actress. Found out about her from Mock The Week. She's so loud! But still funny :)
Thanks for asking ;) x

Ranking Vexen’s boss fights because why not. Meant to do this after finishing GBA CoM but forgot.
Re:CoM Sora’s Story- I like how it conveys him as a smart and adaptable fighter by having him use a mixture of physical and magical attacks, instead of purely magical ones. Dude is getting a lot of mileage out of Frozen Pride, through both conventional and unconventional uses of a shield. I also love how flashy a lot of the moves are. For all the problems Re:CoM’s boss fights have gameplay-wise, they absolutely deliver in the move animation department. I just really appreciate how it gives him a fighting style you wouldn’t expect for a character like him.
CoM and Re:CoM Reverse/Rebirth-Pretty similar to the Sora’s story fights, but I don’t find this one as interesting. Diamond Dust is a really sick-looking sleight though.
CoM Sora’s story-The fight just works a lot better in Re:CoM to me. His sleights seem to have overall lower values, so he doesn’t really do much. Also Slide Break > the sleight where he creates ice patches on the floor.
2FM Absent Silhouette- This fight is so uninteresting, like this is such a bland way of conceptualizing a fight for him. It plays way too much to expectation for my taste. The only kind of out there thing in this iterations is the data-meter/Anti-Sora clone, but I would not call that a good addition in the slightest. This all just comes together to make a really unfun fight in every aspect. The Com and Re:Com ones aren’t that fun from a gameplay perspective, but at least they have some neat attack animations; the best this one has are the snowflakes and those still aren’t much.
2FM Data-Literally take everything from the AS version and just make it more annoying. Also want to note that if I recall correctly his fights in 2FM have (had? I’m not sure if it was fixed) a bug where the data-meter goes up faster than it should, which isn’t helping. The Re:CoM version of ice needles is also bugged, but I find that a lot easier to manage than the Anti-Sora clone.
Not sure if anyone will actually read this lol, just wanted to put my thoughts down. So uh have a good day/night and remember ice swords are cool, both figuratively and literally.
