■ Exterior

It is not just a change in the exterior design, but it is intended to demonstrate excellent performance in functions, aerodynamics, cooling, etc. The front bumper is integrated with the spoiler, and the grill set in the nose section and the balance panel section with a sufficient opening area are designed to send a lot of fresh air to the newly built intercooler for racing built in the rear of the bumper. The rear wing has an innovative style that combines improved aerodynamic characteristics with a sporty feel, and safety is also taken into consideration by incorporating an LED high-mounted stop lamp. The material used for both the front bumper and rear wing is CFRP, which is common in F1 and other Group C cars, ensuring both weight reduction and strength.

The design is coordinated with the body color of Third Black, and embodies the image of the "Third Spirits", which is sporty and elegant. The front seats use the original SARD-AAR sports seats, and the rear seats and door trims use the same fabric as the front seats. In addition, it is equipped with a special steering wheel, analog speed and tachometer to produce a "comfortable ride".

Thorough tuning of the Soarer GT! Great upgrades in performance and style

In the November 10, 1992 issue of this magazine, I heard that the SARD Soarer, which was under development, was completed, so I immediately flew to Aichi.

SARD's policy of giving feedback to good things has been silent for a long time, but I'm convinced that the quality should be high.

The normal Soarer 25GT has been transformed into the SARD 3000 GT!

The base Soarer grade is the simplest 2.5GT (equipped with 1JZ-GTE). Swap the twin turbo engine (2JZ-GTE) and AT for Aristo to this guy. In addition, the reason is to modify the exterior and finish it as a complete car. I secretly heard that the mission's mount and electrical system were extremely difficult.

By increasing the displacement from 2.5L to 3, the exhaust system is a JASMA certified muffler. The lack of rigidity in the undercarriage is improved by increasing the damping force and spring rate with the original damper, achieving a good balance between ride comfort and maneuverability.

In addition, Soarer comes with a grill in the exterior package, which is being sold separately or as a set! The rear wing has a built-in stop lamp and is a little flashier than the stock. garnish and combination.

Then it's cool without complaining. The wheels are finally equipped with 2-piece aluminum wheels exclusively for SARD Soarer. What's more, some Toyota dealers in the Kanto area say that you can purchase the exterior package, so I'm glad.

But what worries me is its running, but it's really smooth, powerful and Torquey. Of course, in order to obtain certification as a complete car, the engine is completely normal. Therefore, the power is 280ps. Well, even so, within 3 or 4 blinks, the speed of warping to another dimension is still alive and well!

For the undercarriage, the dampers and springs are mainly strengthened by making use of the genuine suspension format. In fact, it seems to be true that if the tires and wheels are kept normal, the overall rigidity will be weakened by increasing the size of the tires and wheels. Even so, the overall balance was good, and compared to normal, it had a sporty impression with well-tight legs.

I'm combining the new wheels with BS Expedia's F235/45ZR1 and R255/40Z R1, but the undulations, seams, and gaps on the general road don't have much of an effect, so they don't feel that hard. However, what bothered me was whether the shock absorption on the contraction side of the damper was strong or whether the capacity was insufficient. Current dampers and springs are still in the prototype stage. I look forward to future improvements. It's a bad place.

It was completed in January as a fine certified complete car with a revised mark, and is now equipped with Pioneer's GPS. The SARD 3000GT, which has been polished from a specialty car to a luxury sports car, looks like it will threaten the NSX position!
