Telarc CDs got Bass!
I have the Telarc Sampler disk serial CD 00007 playing. Consistent with that title it has 22 tracks of "sonic spectaculars". 75 minutes of big sounds. That is almost too much. I fired it up as a warm up for a loud session. Then I started serious listening. Many things but the big thing is the really low bass. Like earth shaking.
Oh and like that A&M Audiophile LP sampler this one is also labeled NOT FOR SALE. Got it anyway.
One track has the finale of Saint-Saens 3rd Symphony you know the one with the organ. And no lie you can hear a very low organ note just idling like a dangerous beast. 30 Hz? Lower? 16 Hz is the 32 foot pipe. My speakers should not go that low. I suppose a CD could almost go to DC ( 2Hz by the book apparently). It would suit those guys to show off. The CD player would be hurting down there.
My recollection of general CD complaints were in the treble. I do not recall anyone complaining about the bottom.
Oh right now its into the Grofe' Grand Canyon Suite Cloudburst part with Thunder. It almost sounds like a real storm. It is taxing the measly 60 Watts the ARC can push.
This thing is the apotheosis of a test record.
You know the rest of the sound is not bad. Good ambience when the engineers caught it for the quieter cuts. I suppose if I were more hostile to digital I would find something to complain about. But I have nothing but praise for the Bass.
I will spin up some LPs to bring balance back into my psyche.

Tổng hợp các công thức tính biên độ dao động phổ biến Đối với biên độ dao động điều hòa Đối với dao động điều hòa (tiếng Anh: harmonic oscillation), biên độ (A) sẽ được tính bằng công thức sau: A = (Xmax - Xmin)/2. Trong đó: A là biên độ của dao động (có đơn vị là m, cm, mm hoặc đơn vị tương tự). Xmax: Chính là vị trí cực đại (hay điểm cao nhất) của vật thể trong một chu kỳ dao động. Xmin: Chính là vị trí cực tiểu (hay điểm thấp nhất) của vật thể trong một chu kỳ dao động. Đối với biên độ dao động đơn giản Đối với dao động đơn giản như dao động của lò xo thì biên độ (A) sẽ được xác định bởi khoảng cách tối đa mà vật thể có thể di chuyển từ vị trí cân bằng của nó. Nó sẽ không phụ thuộc vào bất kỳ điểm cụ thể nào trong chu kỳ dao động nên không có công thức tính cụ thể. Đối với biên độ dao động góc Trong trường hợp dao động góc, biên độ (θ) sẽ  được tính bằng giá trị tối đa của góc quay mà vật thể dao động có thể đạt được. Công thức như sau: θmax = Δs/r.

Một số bài tập tiêu biểu liên quan đến biên độ dao động (có giải)
Bài 1: Một vật thể nằm trên bề mặt phẳng dao động điều hòa. Tần số dao động của bề mặt này là 50Hz, biên độ dao động là 0.1m. Hãy tính vận tốc cực đại của vật thể trên bề mặt. Lời giải:  Ta có: Tần số dao động (f) 50Hz, biên độ dao động (A) là 0.1m. Như vậy, vận tốc cực đại của vật thể trên bề mặt dao động điều hòa có thể tính theo công thức sau: Vmax = 2 x π *x f * x A = 2 x π x 50 x 0.1 = 31.42 m/s. Bài 2: Cho biết con lắc đơn có tần số dao động là 2Hz. Hãy tính biên độ dao động của lắc đơn nếu như gia tốc trọng trường là 9.8 m/s^2. Lời giải: Biên độ (A) = g/(4 x π^2 x f^2) = 9.8^2/ ≈ 0.196 m (khoảng 0.2m nếu làm tròn).

Thực hành giải bài tập liên quan đến biên độ dao động Bài 3: Một bóng đèn trên trần nhà dao động điều hòa với tần số là 60 Hz. Tính biên độ dao động của ánh sáng từ bóng đèn. Lời giải:  Ta có, c là tốc độ ánh sáng, cường độ và tốc độ ánh sáng gần bằng 3 x 10^8 m/s. Áp dụng công thức ta có biên độ (A) = c/(2 x π x f) = (3 x 10^8 m/s)/ (2 x π x 60) ≈ 795.77 nm.
