ok so this is definitely lesser known and google/tineye/yandex image searches only led to more pinterest. I looked all over his instagram and twitter and nothing

Good morning Amity Park, I'm your ghostly weatherman, Lance Thunder. Today's Sunday, January 28, and there’s a 0% chance of rain. The highs are in the high thirties and the lows are in the mid thirties.

Technus attacked yesterday, destroying 32 cars and one school bus. He used these vehicles to create a suit of armour to use while fighting Danny Phantom, but was still defeated. The library parking lot was also largely demolished in the battle, though the library itself is fine.

A lobe finned fish was found in the koi pond in Ewert Park. The species has not yet been identified, but it doesn’t resemble any extant species. The cause of this displacement is likely natural portals through time in the ghost zone. The fish is currently being observed for more information.

The Fentons will likely be driving today.

There's a certain segment of leftists that believe that, without capitalism, everyone would be naturally motivated to build things safely and to code. They believe this because the only reason they can think of for having code officers and regulatory enforcement is to stop evil capitalists from cutting corners to make more money. And while that is a contributing factor some of the time, we don't actually live in an episode of Captain Planet and what actually happens is that the people designing the space go "ooh, this would be so much pretty if we designed it like this instead!" and it turns out that their prettier option is not ADA compliant, not NFPA compliant, and a energy-sucking ventilation nightmare.

I was actually just about to make a post along these lines. Like yes, corporations cutting corners to save money and foremen forcing people to work unsafely to be more productive are huge issues and the primary reason for labor laws. But also . . . have you ever tried getting a construction worker to wear a hard hat if safety isn't right there watching him?

Like, pretty much everyone will cut corners or ignore safety guidelines here and there, and not out of greed or maliciousness. It's just because it's faster and easier and it's really, really easy to think "oh I'll just do it real quick, it'll be fine". Or for over-confident people to think "I don't need to look up how to do this, I know how it works", or for someone to just plain be wrong about how they interpreted something. Or to use the wrong part for something because there's a 99% chance it'll be fine and getting the right part will cost a thousand dollars and won't be here for eight weeks.

Basically any system that just relies on humans always doing everything perfectly by the book just because that's the right way to do it is doomed to failure. THAT'S why we have regulatory agencies and require things like permits and inspections - to disincentivize people from taking those shortcuts. It's my biggest problem with a lot of leftist visions of the perfect society - they rely on people not acting like people anymore, and that's just never going to happen.

overly specific house dog au headcanons? spill some?

I can try and fit in one post everyone I've settled completely on so far, and also be obnoxious about dog breeds. fun

I've also bothered @greghatecrimes with a lot of these so very big thanks to them for helping me settle on breeds for everyone <3

It's when I've settled on a "base breed" with dogs that sometimes things just go crazy and go from there

Start with the most overly unnecessarily detailed one here you go:

Adams is the oddest most fantasy mixed breed of ALL fucking time her parents are one Belgian Tervuren and one Borzoi x Ibizan Hound and she appeared so much Tervuren that it’s just possible to miss that she’s got any sighthound(s) in her.

Editing to go even more in-detail with this one because my girl deserves it: She ends up looking somewhere between these two:

She’s very pointy and very leggy but she is very long-furred and that's where the mistakes come from. She moves mostly with the gaits of her sighthound sides which the others find is an easy way to make her bristle. She’s prancing across the room and Chase says you move like a sighthound and she says no I don’t (yes she does)

Park is a Silken Windsprite:

Probably struggles in snow and sometimes has to jump and jump to get through it when it's really deep but Adams mumbles that it’s cute and that's Fight invitation. Park brings up that Adams gets snowballs stuck on her and that it takes hours to melt out of her fur. ("Fuck you!" - "Do it yourself!") It's probably fair to say she has some little dog syndrome.

Chase is an Australian Shepherd. House probably used to make comments about he and Cameron both being Merle:

Cameron is this specific Border Collie (but with blue eyes, ofc):

Probably does the Collie Crouch sometimes. Absolutely does the Collie Stare, and that would come into House's "you can't actually pierce me with your eyes" moments.

Foreman is a Central Asian Shepherd:

Probably has what I call in the groomers "Smart Breed Anxiety" along with her autism swag. Dogs who listen to and seem to understand every word you say and if you're telling someone or another pet off for anything, they assume they're the one you're talking to and give all their guilty looks. Also using my Bluebear as reference with that visual.

Thirteen is this Utonagan!!! No other visual!!! Have such a canine visual of The Dig it's insane.

Wilson of course took Golden Retriever. Definitely one of the larger/silkier ones. Show-type. He'd definitely be a dark gold but this is the best pic I have for how I picture him -color:

House is a Scottish Deerhound, mixed with what? He doesn't know. Wants to know. Very easy to miss that he's a cross:

még nem kaptunk választ. A tapasztalataim szerint elég nyöszös felvenni a kapcsolatot az ingatlanközvetítőkkel, illetve elég furán kommunikálnak. Nincs az, hogy visszaírnak, hogy oks, megkaptuk a levelet, értjük, gyűjtjük az anyagot és válaszolunk, hanem egyszerűen nem válaszolnak. Most éppen öt napja. Van egy olasz-magyar ingatlanosom, korábban ő segített nekem mert telefonon felhívja a nemválaszoló ügynökséget és megkérdez mindent. A díja idén 5 euróról felment 10-re. Az se pénz, úgyhogy ha holnap se válaszolnak, akkor rájuk szabadítjuk. Amúgy, ma épp azt néztem, hogy ebből a faluból (kb 400-an laknak benne, egy év alatt névről ismerhetsz mindenkit :D) 17 óra alatt lehet Budapesten lenni tömegközlekedéssel. Annyira kurvajó helyen van, hogy két óra Milánó, és onnan sutty. A tenger busszal egy óra. És ami a vicc, hogy kocsival meg 45 perc. Hát ennyi idő alatt érek el Budapest másik végébe. Szóval, tényleg elég jó helyen van ez a picsányi kis település, 4 km-re meg van egy nagyobbacska település pizzériákkal meg üzletekkel. Rollerel az mennyi, 15 perc? Még gyalog is csak egy óra, ha az ember beborozva haza akar sétálni. és nyugodtan énekelhet közben mert csak a dombok vannak :D 20 percre (mert elég kanyargós az út) meg van egy még nagyobb város vasútállomással még több pizzériával meg még több üzelettel. Jah, és tengerszint felett 400 m, itt nem lenne hideg se télen. A ház emelkedőn van, ide a víz sem jön fel, nincs is felázás se beázás a falakon. Hajnalban azon gondolkodtam, hogy milyen öntözőrendszer kéne a teraszon a növényeknek amikor nem vagyunk ott. Legjobban az vonz, hogy lehet a patakká fogyott folyóparton bóklászni. Elég szép helyek vannak. Lehet, hogy nyáron szúnyogos. :) Ez a várakozás elég feszkós. Közben nézzük a repjegyeket, de van egy kardinális kérdés, hogy lehet-e kábeles netet bekötni. Egyikőnk cége sem fogad el más megoldást a távmunkára. Ha arra nincs megoldás, akkor nincs ház.

És hogy szerelem-e ez a ház? Hát mindenképpen erős vonzalom. Lehet belőle szerelem, igen. Főleg az, hogy nekem fontos, hogy a terasz a lakáshoz kapcsolódjon, és ha kilépek reggel a kávésbögrémbe kapaszkodva a teraszra, úgy érezzem, hogy kapok levegőt, hogy van előttem tér, hogy szép a látvány.

Andrew thinks about his own relationship with being desirable and how it's only with Neil that he feels like it's a good thing. Being desirable was dangerous for so long that even now with Neil there are days where it's hard to feel people's eyes on him.

Andrew does not want Neil to have his relationship with being desirable.

He tightens his hand around Neil's and feels Neil's tighten around him as well.

He wants it to be a good thing for Neil, something that gives him confidence. If Andrew has to be a bit more blunt in his feelings on Neil's attractiveness? That is a sacrifice that he is more than willing to make.
