I have no clue abt Sanrio stuff lol but a friend of mine likes them and I think they fit the “neon energetic” theme my fnaf art has rn so for aesthetic purposes I include them and I think some characters would enjoy sanrio stuff in general!

Ok I feel like I need to know... how do you render your art, it just looks soooooooo clean!

So I actually don’t rlly render anything I just consider it just drawing cuz when I think of render its those blended type illustrations with a whollle lotta details, I think mine it’s a simple coloring just like a Cartoon Network drawing tbh (that’s what I’m calling this style), where you have:

1.) pen pressure in lines

2.) you add in the color and have contrasting colors on top of its opposite or darker color to make the neon highlights

3.) include a “add” effect layer or just a layer that has a hue/brightness on top

4.) if you r lazy in between any of the steps and didn’t wanna clean a mistake than u just go on top of all the layers and fix that mistake at the v end

And throughout this whole thing the details are minimal and there are a lotta solid shades so barley using the smudge/blend

It's nice that the US has sent up some firefighters to help get these massive amounts of fires under control. Have any other countries done the same? How common an occurrence is this?

Yes, other countries have done the same. Australia, New Zealand and South Africa have sent hundreds of firefighters, support personnel and equipment here in recent weeks, and more are coming. I believe a few European countries also have, at the very least, offered to send people and resources our way in the coming day. They're getting it all assembled now, from the sounds of things, ready to ship out basically from the moment we say the word. And the US, of course. Massive amounts of firefighters and support personnel, I think they've sent like a dozen additional water bombers, which is amazing.

This international response is not uncommon. Especially not between the US and Canada, as our fire seasons always have an impact on each other to varying degrees. This season has gotten off to a very quick and really rough start, with so many of the fires right now essentially being concentrated right above the NE of the US.

So to my American friends that being impacted by this. I know the smoke sucks. I know the haze sucks. I know it is affecting your lives in a not-so-fun way right. But it is very important to remember that isn't only wreaking havoc on your life. From the shit storm of TikToks and Youtube shorts and IG reels people have been sending my way, too many of you are forgetting what causes that smoke. And the impact it has. The devastation it causes. Believe me when I say no one wants these fires to stop more than the people of Canada.
