hi there!!! @pastriibunz here! I have made a Kai in Hatchetfield AU because i am. Autistic.

it combines my latest obsession, Hilda, with the Kai in Hatchetfield series! I have watched the entire Hilda series, so be wary of spoilers!

this is the main post, which will be updated with important information when it comes up.

How about Avatar Holloway next for the AU?

1. What’s her background like, including her time as the Avatar leading up to her capture by the Fire Nation?

2. If John’s quite a ways back in the Avatar Cycle, did they ever directly interact/know each other before Holloway gave up her powers?

3. How common or rare was it for Avatars pre-Holloway to know Energybending in your AU’s story?

1 - Honestly I haven’t figured it all out yet for Holloway, but I think she was pretty chill before the war. She focuses on smaller things, staying away from cities and politics and instead helping out in small towns and villages—But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. She did more work to try and lower tensions, knowing if things got far too bad, she’d even threaten the Fire Nation as a whole. However, the Fire Nation knew she was one of their biggest threats, and they captured her. It’s not easy to keep an Avatar chained down, but they certainly managed to do it. They keep her alive so that another avatar isn’t born. This is what led her to take such drastic measures.

2 - it’s unlikely they ever interacted before. John prefers to stay away from newer avatars, feeling like because of his failures, other avatars are better suited to lead (ofc, when it comes to self sacrifice though, he’d give himself up in a heartbeat before he let another avatar take the fall.) it’s possible that while communing with past Avatars, they’ve seen each other (think like the long line of Avatars that Aang sees. Something like that.)

3 - I don’t think it was common at all, even among Avatars, and even if previous Avatars knew it in the modern day, it was a hidden art. There are probably less than 5 people in the world who are aware it exists.

1. Which elements were Lex & Hannah and John born into?

2. Do Lex & Hannah each have Some but not All of the other elements, how does them splitting The Avatar’s power work and how was the split found out?

3. Tell us about John’s backstory as the Avatar, specifically how did he die and how is he able to come back to help Lex & Hannah? 🦅

1 Lex and Hannah were born into the Earth Kingdom, however Hannah’s father is a mysterious man, so who knows what he brought into the bloodline (Lex and Hannah do not share a father in this au)

John was born into the Air Nomads, back when they were still around.

2 yes, the powers are split between them. Air and water for Hannah, while Lex has Earth and Fire. The avatars know of the split, because it was the energy bending of the current avatar who split it. Avatar Holloway cut herself off from her air, water, earth, and fire bending in the hopes that they would find the next suitable host, and it happens to be that two girlies who were unusually connected to the spirit world got them.

Holloway is still alive, although she has been captured by the Fire Nation. She split her powers hoping that whoever got them would be able to save the world. (She still has her energy bending)

Lex was the first one to discover her bending. In a tiny moment where John could appear to her as human, he taught her some simple earth bending so she could save herself and Hannah from danger.

I think Hannah probably discovers her bending in a moment of extreme emotion.

3 John was an Avatar a VERY long time ago. He traveled the world doing avatar stuff, solving conflict, talking to spirits, etc. However, tragedy struck when his best friend, Wilbur Cross, betrayed him.

Unsure of the details as of how Wilbur betrayed him, but it was catastrophic. John fell into a horrible depression, and I think he eventually was killed, brutally, by Wilbur.

John didn’t interact with future generations very much. Still very much in his depression and disappointed in himself for his failures. However, after Avatar Holoway caused The Split, he gave up his afterlife with the Avatars to return to the human world in the only form he could, an Eagle, so that he could guide and protect the Foster Sisters.

Occasionally he can appear to the sisters as a spirit, how he looked like when he died with some additional eagle features. It takes a great deal of energy to do so, however. It’s the only way to teach them bending though, at least without outside help.

And, if John REALLY expends his energy, he can allow his spirit form to become more physical, allowing him to interact with the world as a human, and even bend. It’s only something he considers in real emergencies, and whenever he does this, he is out for a long time.

Also piggybacking off that one question mentioning the Avatar Cycle in my last ask: where do accessing the Avatar State/past Avatars/etc. factor into the power transfer from Holloway to Lex & Hannah? Would the Fosters already being unusually connected to the Spirit World beforehand affect any of this at all?

So, because the Avatar Powers are split into 3 rn, it’s very wacked out.

I think that together, Lex and Hannah could access a lesser version of the Avatar State, but, as said, they’d have to be together.

I think the same works for contacting the avatars. They’d have to do it together, and the communication would be foggy.

Holloway cannot access the Avatar State anymore. However, if she were alongside Lex and Hannah, she could.

And they’re accompanied by. A strangely intelligent eagle… who may or may not be the spirit of a former avatar who’s come to help them through this.

Code lyoko npmd au

Ruth runs the super computer (she doesn’t think she’s good enough to fight)

Grace is basically a dnd Paladin when she’s in Lyoko

Richie has some sort of anime weapon maybe like. An aot themed thing idk I haven’t watched aot

I think it’d be HILARIOUS if Pete like. Got Odd Delerobia’d and had an animal themed outfit. Maybe a throwback to Ted in Hey Melissa but also he is kinda giving birb

Steph I can see as like. A high-tech fighter or something idk.

Max though? Oh he is living it up. He joined the crew and has been enjoying Lyoko so much. Finally he has friends… people who are nice to him… too bad he got brainwashed by Xana or the LiB or whatever and is now fighting against them.

Dunno what his outfit in Lyoko is though

And then mayhaps Hannah gets to be in there as Aelita, purifying towers and stuff. Also I think John and Lex are both somehow stuck in Lyoko and missing.
