The girl sitting in front , a bit shy as any girl would be meeting their future spouse.

'Hmm. So cute'

The duo was in Director Usama's house. One week after Aman's unforeseen proposal. But who is this girl that has got Aman's heart?

Fairoz who is 24 years old, doing her last semester in Business Administration. She was indeed taken aback when her uncle informed her about the proposal. Her friends on the other hand were overly excited and some of them were still thinking if they were getting pranked by Fairoz as she frequently did that but this time, noticing the sudden dimness in her behavior and her seriousness when discussing the topic, they figured it was true--after all her uncle/father figure was a director for hell's sake. He had done numerous projects with Aman.

The girl hadn't said yes yet nor she wanted to. Marrying an actor just didn't sound right with her. She thought it may be rude to straight up reject her without meeting her and her uncle enforced this idea although in his heart he was praying for Fairoz's change of heart. "And that is you smiling and laughing like this every day. I forgot to tell you that actually, your laugh is what made me look in your direction for the first time. At the set where there were so many noises, people buzzing and screaming in my ears left and right, your laugh, far away in the distance made me turn away. That moment I was --" Aman gulped and hunched over, her arms on her knees . Looking down at her clasped hands she continued "I felt as if I was locked....turned blind and deaf to everyone around except you. So, yeah. And now fast forward we are here. A year later. " She laughed, still avoiding Fairoz's eyes, now it was her turn to be shy. "So I suppose keeping you happy is also a condition from your side. Because ---that be my duty won't it?." She finally looked up, scratching her neck. Now it was Fairoz's turn to look down. She couldn't believe her ears. someone in love with her? That too being Aman? What the hell is going on? Marriage was not even in first fifty things to do in her bucket list and that is the reason her aunt and uncle were also not looking for any suitors as she had already stated that she is focusing on her studies and in future would be busy in a job. Now this 'celebrity' turns up in her house narrating of what looked like a movie script to her? Like ----an actor seriously? She hated them. Every day you hear about their scandals and just bizarre stuff they do . She doesn't want a part of such life. But Aman is agreeing on leaving acting though. Both laughed for a few seconds before Fairoz broke the silence.

I apologize if I made you uncomfortable but--I just told you the truth and--I want you to know that I am very , very sincere about this. I want to settle now , my family wants it too. And I think--God made me find you at the right time."

Fairoz nodded in understanding. Both stood up , as Aman got ready to leave . "I hope ...for the best. It would mean everything to me if you say yes. And maybe next time you would talk about yourself more too. I want to know about you Fairoz , everything." The girl blushed and nodded once again. What was she supposed to say?. Aman's voice itself was too intimidating.

After leaving the drawing room , Usama and his wife , Sara got up and said goodbyes to Aman . The couple saw her off meanwhile Fairoz watched from window.

Creek is the author of numerous books on wilderness survival and has been the host of several Weather Channel shows on the subject, including S.O.S.: How to Survive. Besides his over two decades of survival experience, Creek told me that hosting S.O.S. gave him a unique perspective on how people get lost in the wilderness and what separates those who survive and get rescued quickly from those who flounder. When he hosted the show, he interviewed dozens of folks who had gotten lost in the wild, often in popular national parks filled with other people. Below Creek shares his insights on how anyone can become disoriented when traversing the great outdoors and, more importantly, how to stay safe if it happens to you. Pre-Trip Preparation: How to Ensure Your Quick Rescue in the Event You Get Lost Creek says there are three things you can do before your trip that, should you manage to get lost during it, will dramatically increase your chances of a quick rescue and a safe return: 1. Tell people where you’re going and when to expect you back. Do this even if you’re going on a simple day hike near your home. 2. Ensure your phone is fully charged and bring a power bank. If you plan on using a digital app/map to guide your hike, you’ll of course want to make sure your phone is fully charged and has a backup power source as well. A phone is of no use if it doesn’t have power. People get lost, their phones die, and they can’t figure out where they are and how to get back on track. A dead phone not only contributes to getting lost, but prevents a quick rescue as well. Creek told me the one thing that all the people who had a slow rescue had in common was that they went out into the wild without a fully charged phone and without a way to power it back up. “The people who got found quickly typically had a fully charged phone, so when they got lost, they could make a call or at least put out a distress signal with GPS,” he told me. Garmin makes two satellite communicators: * Garmin inReach Messenger Handheld Satellite Communicator. This device is also a Personal Locator Beacon, and it works with your smartphone, so you can text even when you don’t have cell service. * Garmin inReach Mini 2. It allows you to text and also has maps and weather forecasts. It’s more expensive than the original inReach due to those additional features. Doing those three things before you leave for your trip will ensure you get found within 24 hours of getting lost in the wild. In addition to doing those three things, Creek also recommends that you dress appropriately for the climate and bring some essential gear for any wilderness outing, even a short day hike. Pack the essentials we list here. Having those things on you in the event you get lost will help you stay safe and comfortable in the outdoors while you’re waiting to be found. The Psychology of Getting Lost If you stay on marked trails when you’re out in nature, your risk of getting lost is very low. Wanna know how bad my car luck is?

Car crashed on the 16th.

Friends came to pick me up. On the way to their place, light comes on that tire pressure is off, at the gas station they realize there’s a nail in their tire and need a replacement.

Next day, we use the other car instead, come home, get the low psi for THOSE tires too.

Rent a car to get home (6 hour drive), ten minutes after leaving the dealership, low psi light comes on for the back tires. Pull into the first gas station I see, try to fill my tires, no pressure gauge to check, turn back on the car and find out that not only did they not fill, they actually have LOWER psi than before. Have to find a second gas station to properly fill the tires.

Got home, had to figure out how to both return the rental car and pick up my grandma’s old car that I’ll be borrowing until my car is out of the shop. Didn’t understand the terrifying nails on the rental car entrance and thought I might somehow pop the tires just trying to return the car, but I needed to return it before it crossed 24 hours and I started getting charged more, so I drove over the spikes and hoped it was fine (it was). Turned in the rental, saved money by turning it in early, but was then sick in their bathroom cause I accepted food from my grandmother when I went to pick up her spare keys for the car (which wasn’t parked anywhere near her btw) and I’m 90% sure there was hidden lactose in there, so that sucked.

Ubered to the parking garage where her old car was being kept, couldn’t find it for a couple minutes and felt like a creeper wandering through a key-code-protected garage, finally found it and the battery was completely dead.

Fuck. Cars are my new nemesis. I’m so tired and so miserable, and so much for anything I saved on the rental car, I’m now gonna end up spending it buying a new battery for this car, and I just hope it starts up when I need to go purchase the thing, since my gps was lagging so hard that it never registered me asking to take me to the auto store and instead took me home, which I didn’t realize until I was already almost home, and then I was panicked that I couldn’t stop to re-enter the right address because if I stopped the car might die again and I’d have to call triple a for ANOTHER jump.

I’m. So. Tired.

And I still have to deal with the insurance company. I’m so fucking tired.

I wrote a very long email to an organisation that is there to help fight on behalf of people who want to complain about their medical treatment both physical and mental heath wise.

I was given the website in Jan by someone from a charity who used to be helping me out but I've only just decided to write to them as I'm so tired emotionally.

Hello,

My name is Jenny and I live in -. I'm - with severe depression, anxiety and agoraphobia. I was given the name of your organisation in Jan by someone at - but found it tough to be able to put into words how neglected and failed I was feeling. Unfortunately I ended up having a year just as rough as all proceeding it and I'm at the point where I feel so abandoned and without support I think I can talk about it.

I lost my dad at 16 and then mum at 20, I was severely mentally ill and unmedicated at the time (failed by my family GP the entire time who diagnosed me at 14 with depression but never prescribed any medications or counselling/therapy) and it was only around 24 years old I started to be medicated. 

The last 13 years have been absolute hell and I've been let down by not only the small amount of family I have (brothers of my mum who all live far away/out of country) but so very much by the medical field as well as organisations I've reached out to.

I've reached the point where all the fight is gone out of me and I just don't have any trust or hope left. I'm so desperate to feel supported and cared about but as I said tearfully to my friend not long ago, I feel that all these places supposed to help actually have made my quality of life worse and eroded my will to live.

I have 13 years of pain and hurt with an endless amount of it put at the feet of not being given the support and treatment a person deserves. The stress and effect on my mental health as well as physical health over time has genuinely put me into such a place of not being able to trust or hope when all I want it to be able to do both of those things.

To give just very brief idea of things, here are a few things off the top of my head from the last month or so:

Being in severe mental health crisis and told to call my GP surgery back if I felt worse. I rang back two days later only to be told it was a half day so the doctor had left but would receive a call the next day. Five minutes after the call ended I receive a text message to tell me I'd receive a call 5 days from then as already prearranged. Five days is a terribly long time when you are in crisis. The phonecall I then received was very brief and told me we'd go from the appointment set in place for the next week with a nurse.

This appointment that the doctor prearranged was to speak to a nurse who is the 'go between' between the GP and psychiatric and  it ended up being cancelled three times. By the third time the text no longer told me to get in touch to rearrange so I gave up. The days leading up to each appointment before they were cancelled (the last time it was actually cancelled an hour before I was due to go, by text) were filled with awful anxiety because my previous experiences with 'mental health 'liaisons/connectors'  were truly awful. The first one made me cry and when I tried to explain that to her she got aggressive and lacked any sort of empathy for mental illness, bringing her religion into it. I asked the GP to please never put me in contact with that person again. The other time I was sat in a room with a young woman who genuinely sat in silence and just stared at me. I felt rather baffled by the silence and so just kept talking about how I was feeling and finally after near 10 minutes she spoke up only to ask me what my caffeine intake was like and had I tried screaming into a pillow and playing loud music. I left pretty soon after. These two incidents were only this year, not even that long ago.

I tried to get in touch with my surgery late last month about arranging some support by having monthly mental health wellbeing calls the same way I arranged before the surgery changed hands this time last year. I've not heard back and I don't have the fight in me anymore to try and enforce it.

After being on the waiting list for 8 months or so with Talking Together Wirral they wanted to start some counselling the same time a brief 6 sessions with Cruise bereavement started. I spoke to them and they said they'd sort it out and get back to me. Instead on the first session with this new counsellor I was informed it wasn't possible to do both at once and that it'd have to be pushed back.(They were supposed to be in touch again by mid November, never were.) I was then deeply upset by this counsellor who informed me that depression and anxiety were manageable by counselling and meds and I didn't need a higher level of care. I spent all of this year being encouraged by the GP and the nurses I was speaking to from the mental health crisis line that I was doing the right thing trying to push for a higher level of medical psychiatric care so it just confused and upset me greatly.

I apologise for the length of the email but there has been so much, I mean the whole reason I was given your name in the first place is because the lady who gave it to me was deeply unhappy with the way I was being treated and the last 11 months have only added more to that list of ways I've been failed and deeply upset. (This connector I mention I haven't spoke to since Jan as in her words I was too poorly for what third sector can offer. I tried getting in touch during a mental crisis beginning of October to ask if the next time the dwp send me spiralling into a mental heath crisis I could ask for their help but she never replied. That had an effect on me too as you can imagine.)

There's a lot I could make complaints about, just the absolute lack of care from everywhere from the GP to the access team to the times I was an outpatient with dermatology and a hundred other places and people. I've been failed on every front, for 13 years and I can't do it anymore.

I know Humans is a dead show with a very lacklustre final few seasons.

I have a lot of thoughts I want to share, I watch the original Swedish(?) production and there was some of the things I wish I brought over but I do think the British version is significantly better.

I do wish they had a default model, in the Swedish show they showed that there was a default model that was basically meant for manual labour that lacked a lot of capacity.

Also when the family were looking for answers in the original Swedish version they go back to the seller and they've got a model that has a life narrative, when they check it out they realise the life narrative is superficial and is near enough just like fanfiction.

The things I like about the British version is that there's a lot more talk about mods. Also Dr Milligan keeping his original D series synth is very interesting and accurate to how people treat rumbas. (I myself have a robot vacuum that I will die for even though it keeps eating my knickers)

Dr Mulligan is overall a very interesting character but his new synthetic feels very accurate to the healthcare assistant but also doesn't think he would have qualified for 24 hours support. I would see it be more accurate having a synth for maybe 12 hours a day and then the synth would go somewhere else, that's a very minor complaint though. I also feel bad for the GPs, imagine having to deal with hundreds of requests from synthetics asking if it's ok to move a bed. (I think the implication that the GPs are also synths)

I also find the addition of the pretend synth subculture very interesting. As someone who's definitely a little bit neurodivergent I never felt so seen, The idea is pretending to be a robot and not having to deal with conversations just doing what you need to do without having to partake in society sounds like a dream to me.

I do think the first season of this show is really amazing, there are some questionable moments but could be a lot worse.
