Hi, I think I read a similar fic like the request 2309. It's a multi ch fic. I can't seem to find it in my bookmark but I remember a little.

The fic was based on a love potion accident. Draco was trying to make a potion from an old potion book but the pages got mixed up and he accidentally made a love potion. He needed a black or red flower ig ? Which he went to find in the forbidden forest and harry followed him because he was suspicious. Then when draco drank the potion, harry came out so the first person draco saw was harry. Harry was asking him what he was doing and then draco kissed him and then harry pushed him away and then draco(?) ran away. Draco was very shocked.

Umm oh yeah they also got drunk together one time when they were trying to make a cure and it failed and harry was having a bad day....

There is another scene where harry finally realised that he had fallen for draco ( it was after draco was finally cured) he had gone to talk to him and draco had kissed him and said that he didn't feel anything.

I believe after this lupins class takes place.

Anyway. I was trying to think of books that actually do something interesting with gender + sexuality without just transplanting our exact system into another world and the first thing that came to mind was Samuel Delany's Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand. But I'm realizing that I remember literally nothing about that book except vibes. I want to say that "she" was the default pronoun and "he" was only used for people the speaker was sexually attracted to but don't quote me on that lol
