年明けのたのしみはお餅。

お雑煮が大好物で、毎日何個も食べています。

餅はオーブントースターで焼いて。

自家製のお餅、コシもあって、よく伸びてくれて、かなりおいしかったです。

これも毎年上げている気がしますが、我が家のお雑煮。質素！シンプル！東海地方！という感じのお雑煮です。

茹でた角餅をお椀に入れ、砂糖醤油を少しだけかけて、茹でた菜っ葉を乗せます。以上です。完成です。お好みでかつお節をかけてください。

小さい頃からこのお雑煮なので、まあお雑煮とはこういうものよな……と思って食べていますが、私は甘辛味があまり好きではないので、メジャーな出汁味のものも食べてみたいものです。遠方出身の人と一緒に住んでいた時は違うお雑煮が食べられるのでは、と思ったものの、うちは毎年正月カレー食べるよ！と言われ、カレーなの……？😊😊となった思い出。結局実家以外のお雑煮は食べられずじまいでした。

とりあえずの家族だけで食べる用のおせち。ちゃんとしたおせちの開封は来客のある明日(2日)になります。

妹夫婦＆姪っ子たちや叔父夫婦が集まっての我が家のお正月の風景。今年のメインは飛騨牛のすき焼きだったのですが、甘辛味がそこまで好きではない私は、せっせと海鮮とおせちをつつき回していました。すき焼きかしゃぶしゃぶかと問われたら私は断然しゃぶしゃぶ派なんですが、多数決に負けた……そうか、皆さんすき焼き派なのね……。しゃぶしゃぶの中でも豚しゃぶが好きです。さっぱりが美味しい。

メインに加えて毎年近所のお店のおせちを頼んでいたのですが、おせちの定番メニューだと誰も手を付けないので、今年は肉づくしおせちとやらを頼んでみました。ローストビーフやらハムやらマリネやら色々入った洋風メニュー。……なのですが、やっぱり皆さん冬はあったかいもの(すき焼きとか揚げ物とか)に人気が集中。喜んでモサモサ食べていたのは私だけだったのでした。まあ、余ったから私のワインのお供(ほとんど飲めないけど)ができて私は嬉しい。

母「それなりにお値段張るんだよコレ。あんたしか食べないならもう来年からおせちいらないんじゃないの？」

否定はできない。
