BILL NYE saves the world with MGO (Genetically Modified Organisms) and I am taking you to SPACE: BEYOND AND ABOVE on THE ISLAND.

In a brief conversation I had with AI Copilot, I asked him to give me an international accepted definition of GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms), which it did as follows:

For a broader, internationally recognized definition,  the  European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)  defines GMOs as organisms (plants, animals,  bacteria, or fungi) whose genetic material has been  altered in a way that does not occur naturally through mating or natural recombination. This alteration is  achieved using modern biotechnology techniques,  allowing the transfer of individual genes between  organisms, even across different species.

I followed up Copilot's definition with a clarification request on the meaning of ANIMALS as to include humans. Here is what it said:

Technically, humans could be genetically modified,  but it's a highly  controversial and complex issue.  So far, ethical and legal constraints mean genetic  modifications in humans are rare and tightly  controlled, usually focusing on medical research to prevent or treat genetic disorders. The idea of  modifying humans beyond that opens a whole can of moral and societal concerns. Tricky territory!

The film industry has a fascination with this subject, which lends itself to a myriad of infinite scenarios out of this world. Specifically, mutations, cloning, or lab grown humans. This theme was highly explored in a great TV series called "Space: Above and Beyond" (1995) (IMdB 7'8). I've written about and produced this series in the INQUISITORIAL and anti-first-amendment anti-american YouTube platform before my blog was cancelled. However, following is a film you must see, which can give you an insight as to the topic of this discussion. The script, very Hollywood style, is as good as it gets, the acting could have been better, but over all, a good film which gets the point across.

The Island is a 2005 American science fiction action thriller film directed and co-produced by Michael Bay and written by Caspian Tredwell-Owen, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, from a story by Tredwell-Owen.

The film is about Lincoln Six Echo, who struggles to fit into the highly structured world in which he lives, isolated in a compound, and the series of events that unfold when he questions how truthful that world is. After Lincoln learns the compound inhabitants are clones used for organ harvesting as well as surrogates for wealthy people in the outside world, he attempts to escape with Jordan Two Delta (Johansson) and expose the illegal cloning movement.

2023 január 29-én volt két éve, hogy összefogtak a mikepércsi anyák és Debrecen főteréig, a Kossuth térig vezették tiltakozó menetüket, amellyel a hozzájuk oly közel épülő debreceni Déli Ipari Parkba tervezett CATL akkumulátorgyár építése ellen léptek fel. Nap mint nap látjuk, tapasztaljuk, hogy milyen hatásai vannak, és egyre több információ van a birtokunkban arról, hogy milyen hatásai lesznek az akkumulátornagyhatalmi álmoknak itt, ahol élünk, és az ország egész területén. A 10 km-es sétára és az ANYÁK kiállására emlékezve hívjuk újra tüntető sétára a MAGYAR EMBEREKET 2025. február 1-én. A sétával egybekötött tüntetést a MIAKÖ teljes egyetértésben és együttműködésben szervezi a megye és természetesen az ország sorsáért aggódó Hajdú-Bihar vármegyei Tisza Szigetekkel, az akkumulátor károsult települések országos szervezetével, az AKÁRTEIS-sel, velünk tüntetnek a Zebraszerda aktivistái, és támogatásukról biztosítottak bennünket az ország más részein szerveződő Tisza Szigetek is, akik szintén jelen lesznek például, Budapestről és Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok vármegyéből is.

Terveink szerint a MENET KÉT IRÁNYBÓL INDUL EL, az egyik Mikepércs főtere, ahonnan 10 órakor Kozma Éva, a MIAKÖ elnöke vezeti a mikepércsi és a környező településekről Mikepércsre érkezett tiltakozókat a Déli Ipari Parkoz. A tüntetők másik része Debrecenből indul 10 órakor a Kossuth térről, ahol „Bruti” mondja el gondolatait és indítja útjára a résztvevőket a Déli Ipari Park felé. A két irányból induló tömeghez bárhol lehet csatlakozni. A mikepércsiek és a debreceniek a Déli Ipari Parknál találkoznak, ezzel is szimbolizálva, hogy a két település sorsa egy, közös a veszélyeztetés, amelyet ezek a gyárak hoztak az életünkbe, és a megoldást keresve is közösen kell kiállnunk az érdekeinkért, a gyerekeink egészséges jövőjéért és biztonságáért, és nem engedjük, hogy a politikai hatalom tudatosan szembe fordítsa a két településen élőket! A tömeg a Déli Ipari Park veszélyeztető, környezetszennyező és egészségkárosító gyárainál a saját szemükkel láthatja majd azt a mérhetetlen pusztítást, amit ez az erőltetett, eszement iparosítás okozott a magyar tájban, fenekestől felforgatva az itt élők mindennapjait, addigi nyugodt életét. Itt hangoznak el a beszédek és fontos bejelentések a MIAKÖ elnöke, Kozma Éva és a Tisza Szigetek képviselői részéről. A tüntetés az akkumulátoripar térhódítása ellen, a kínai befolyással szemben, az engedélyező és ellenőrző hatóságok megerősítése és jogkövető magatartása mellett foglal állást. Mindeközben követeljük, hogy a kormány és a helyi politikai döntéshozók a nemzetközi szerződéseknek, az EU szabályainak és a hazai jognak megfelelve időben adjanak tájékoztatást a hasonló projektekről, legyen az bárhol az országban. Nem elfogadható, hogy egy miniszter selejt akkumulátor-feldolgozót jelölhessen ki úgy, hogy annak környezeti hatásait csak a kijelölést követően vizsgálják meg.

Debrecenben már 7 olyan akkumulátoripari beruházás épül, amely országosan is veszélyezteti az egészséges ivóvizet, a termőtalajt, ezzel az itt termelt élelmiszert, valamint a levegő amúgy is nagyon rossz minőségét, ami – a vendégmunkások által behurcolt betegségek mellett - komoly egészségkárosodást okozhat. Debrecen az ország egyik legveszélyesebb és legkörnyezetszennyezőbb, teljességgel élhetetlen településévé vált. Ami itt történik, az Magyarország és a MAGYAR EMBEREK elleni támadás mintapéldánya, hazaárulással és népírtással felérő politikai tett, ezért kiállásunkkal meg kell akadályozni a döntések beteljesülését, amíg még nem késő! Nem késő összefogni, mert Debrecenhez hasonlóan bárki kaphat szennyező üzemet a városa mellé, különösen, mert a rengeteg itt termelt selejt veszélyes akkumulátor bárhol felbukkanhat az országban. Ezen gyárak, lerakatok, újrahasznosítók hatása pedig az egész Kárpát-medencére kihat, az életterünket pusztítja. A rétegvizeink a teljes Kárpát-medencében veszélyben vannak, bárhonnan induljon is a szennyezés, Debrecenből, vagy Gödről. 2025 Tarot

The year ahead…

A reading for the year ahead, ft a month-by-month overview and key themes. Will likely come back and edit/make notes as the year progresses, and always interested in comments/interpretations so if anyone has any thoughts please share!

Overarching Theme: Four of Cups

A young man is seated under a tree and contemplates three cups set on the grass before him, an arm issuing from a cloud offers him another cup. His expression notwithstanding is one of discontent with his environment. Divinatory Meanings: Weariness, disgust, aversion, imaginary vexations—as if the wine of this world had caused satiety only. Another wine, as if a fairy gift, is now offered him, but he sees no consolation therein. This is also a card of blended pleasure. Meditation, contemplation, apathy, reevaluation.

Reversed: Novelty, presage, new instruction, new relations. Retreat, withdrawal, checking in for alignment.

Yikes. Another boring year? Or does your immediate antithetical reaction to the very idea signify that it's finally time for you to get off your ass and decide to go after what you do want? Maybe you won't see any of the major changes or, let's be honest, miracles, you're holding out for, but that doesn't mean you're stuck. 'Perfect' is often the enemy of good, or even done. Divinatory Meanings: It is represented as a card of gaiety, recreation and its connections, which is the subject of the design. But it is read also as news and messages in writing, such as obstacles, agitation, trouble, embroilment. Multiple priorities, time management, prioritisation, adaptability. Reversed: Enforced gaiety, simulated enjoyment, literal sense, handwriting, composition, letters of exchange. Over-committed, disorganisation, reprioritisation.

February: Ace of Swords

A hand issues from a cloud, grasping a sword, the point of which is encircled by a crown. Divinatory Meanings: Triumph, the excessive degree in everything, conquest, triumph of force. A card of great force, in love as well as in hatred. Breakthroughs, new ideas, mental clarity, success.

Reversed: The same meanings, but the results are disastrous; another account says—conception, childbirth, augmentation, multiplicity. Inner clarity, re-thinking an idea, clouded judgement.

March: The Hermit

Prudence, also and especially treason, dissimulation, corruption, roguery. Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance.

Reversed: Concealment, disguise, policy, fear, unreasoned caution. Isolation, loneliness, withdrawal.

April: Nine of Wands

The figure leans upon his staff and has an expectant look, as if awaiting an enemy. Behind him are eight other staves erect, in orderly disposition, like a palisade. Divinatory Meanings: The card signifies strength in opposition. If attacked, he will meet the onslaught boldly. With this main significance there are all its possible adjuncts, including delay, suspension, adjournment. Resilience, courage, persistence, test of faith, boundaries.

Reversed: Obstacles, adversity, calamity. Inner resources, struggle, overwhelm, defensive, paranoia.

May: Two of Swords

A hoodwinked figure balances two swords upon her shoulders. Divinatory Meanings: Conformity and the equipoise which it suggests, courage, friendship, affection, concord in a state of arms, intimacy. Difficult decisions, weighing up options, an impasse, avoidance.

Reversed: Imposture, falsehood, duplicity, disloyalty. Indecision, confusion, information overload, stalemate.

June: King of Swords

He sits in judgment, holding the unsheathed sign of his suit. Divinatory Meanings: Whatsoever arises out of the idea of judgment and all its connections—power, command, authority, militant intelligence, law, offices of the crown, and so forth. Mental clarity, intellectual power, authority, truth.

Reversed: Cruelty, perversity, barbarity, perfidy, evil intention. Quiet power, inner truth, misuse of power, manipulation.

July: Eight of Swords

A woman, bound and hoodwinked, with the swords of the card about her. Divinatory Meanings: Bad news, violent chagrin, crisis, censure, power in trammels, conflict, calumny—also sickness. Negative thoughts, self-imposed restriction, imprisonment, victim mentality.

Reversed: Disquiet, difficulty, opposition, accident, treachery, the unforeseen, fatality. Self-limiting beliefs, inner critic, releasing negative thoughts, open to new perspectives.

August: Four of Swords

The effigy of a Knight in the attitude of prayer, at full length upon his tomb. Divinatory Meanings: Vigilance, retreat, solitude, hermit’s repose, exile, tomb and coffin. Rest, relaxation, meditation, contemplation, recuperation.

Reversed: Wise administration, circumspection, economy, avarice, precaution, testament. Exhaustion, burn-out, deep contemplation, stagnation

September: Three of Swords

Three swords piercing a heart, cloud and rain behind. Divinatory Meanings: Removal, absence, delay, division, rupture, dispersion, and all that the design signifies naturally. Heartbreak, emotional pain, sorrow, grief, hurt.

October: Eight of Wands

The card represents motion through the immovable—a flight of wands through an open country. Divinatory Meanings: Activity in undertakings, the path of such activity, swiftness, as that of an express messenger; great haste, great hope, speed towards an end which promises assured felicity; that which is on the move, also the arrows of love. Movement, fast paced change, action, alignment, air travel.

Reversed: Arrows of jealousy, internal dispute, stingings of conscience, quarrels. Delays, frustration, resisting change, internal alignment.

November: Knight of Cups

Graceful, not warlike, riding quietly, wearing a winged helmet, referring to the higher graces of the imagination which sometimes characterize this card. Divinatory Meanings: Arrival, approach—sometimes that of a messenger, advances, proposition, demeanor, invitation, incitement. Creativity, romance, charm, imagination, beauty.

Reversed: Trickery, artifice, subtlety, swindling, duplicity, fraud. Overactive imagination, unrealistic, jealous, moody.

December: Six of Wands

A laureled horseman bears staff adorned with laurel crown; footmen with staves are at his side. Divinatory Meanings: The card has been so designed that it can cover several significations. On the surface, it is a victor triumphing, but it is also great news, such as might be carried in state by the King’s courier. It is expectation crowned with its own desire, the crown of hope. Success, public recognition, progress, self-confidence.

Reversed: Apprehension, fear—as of a victorious enemy at the gate, treachery, disloyalty, as of gates being opened to the enemy. Private achievement, personal definition of success, fall from grace, egotism.
